about the gerudos : im moroccan and honestly i like the gerudos long nose like - those features DO exist in swana populations. i have a long nose and even if I understand this design choice was of bad taste originally i grew to be fond of it. so I'm always skeptical when fans, especially if they're not swana obsess over the nose when well, the gerudos have other writing problems. like i slightly rolled my eyes at the how to find a husband class considering that swana countries have a problem of sex tourism and bride mailing where the teaching of appealing to the white male gaze is more done as a way to survive in those shit economies rather than a cutesy "let's teach you how to flirt!". they could've gone way further the grotesque and gross aspect of swana women learning how to cater to the orientalist gaze as a form of internalized hatred and racism instead of whatever it was.

Yeah! I think its a very handsome or beautiful trait, personally ! It's literally one of the reasons why I find OOT Ganon so handsome.. i really like the shaoe of his nose there over WW and TP (though thats still very handsome too <3)

Wow! Can you tell us more about the Westworld AU for Lokius, please?

Ah yes, this came up recently out of a discussion on the Love is a Dagger discord server, and it grew out the idea that Mobius and the other TVA agents have had their memories reset multiple times. (The rationale behind this theory is explained in this article about the show, and it's really interesting!) Which of course made me think of the Westworld hosts being reset again and again, but still having some of those memories lingering in their code. A brief word of warning that there are WW spoilers below, but only for seasons 1&2.

So here's the AU: Loki is a host in Westworld (AsgardWorld? although tbh a cowboy theme would be fun) and all of his "variants" are different iterations of him that have been placed in slightly different storylines over the years. Mobius is like Bernard or Stubbs in WW, a host who helps run the park and thinks he's a human. Loki is always getting off his loop and causing trouble, and Ravonna (who is like Theresa from WW S1; Kang is basically Ford) just wants to discontinue the model entirely, but Mobius is very fond of him and always argues to give him another chance (the Loki hosts are basically Mobius's pet project).

The story would probably end up fusing elements of WW S1 and Loki S1: Sylvie would be Dolores-esque, an early experimental host with some of Loki's coding but in a female body, but she "woke up" and got loose and basically just causes havok in the park, killing guests, trying to bring the whole thing down. So Mobius convinces Ravonna to let him take this one particular Loki host, who recently got off his loop and is due to be reset, to help him find Sylvie. But Mobius falls in love with Loki, which causes all kinds of angst because he thinks he's human and thus shouldn't be falling in love with hosts, and also he thinks hosts can't fall in love so Loki can't love him back (but they can, obvs).

Anyway, I really love thinking about it, though it might have a suuuuper niche readership, lol. I guess if people are interested they can let me know by liking this post, though I can't promise I'll get to it any time too soon!

What I find most intriguing is their actions. I mean I’m used to ships being loud or me shipping non-popular ships, but for some reason there was something that made me think that even though are not as loud as back then something was off. I didn’t think it was because of a relationship, but a fall out period(s). As we know sometime around 2017 they weren’t the same. I speculated because of growing apart and Doyoung being sideline because of him going to the Chinese unit, so naturally it would explain their behavior. I also felt they just grew closer to other people. I thought Doyoung preferred to be with Taeyong, because they are friends even outside of the group dynamic as well. As for Jaehyun I had no idea who he was close to in 127. For me Jaehyun is a little harder to read, unless he’s puppy mode or being Yoonoh. Doyoung is easier because you can tell in facial expressions and behavior toward certain situations. I could tell that he actually fakes his idol persona a lot. Anyway, I don’t know how to explain it but I felt though they grew apart there was always something trying to keep them as friends. Now in 2017 there were subtle things for instance when Jaehyun puppy mode was a little more prominent and he clung to Doyoung in a way that wasn’t legit clinging, basically making his presence known to Doyoung. As for Doyoung he kind of let him. I always thought both of them still wanted to keep the friendship alive, but it was weird because they were simply growing up and weren’t clicking as before. Then 2018 came in like a hurricane and I was happy because they seemed to be friends again. Then it slowly started becoming like 2017, but more of you knew they were friends just not the closest of friends. So I’m always confused what the heck the relationship is. Sometimes I think they are ex-lovers or their relationship is that still crush status. Because out of nowhere shippy moments happen and the everyone is in a frenzy. I tried studying their behavior on my own (not really that good at it), and all I’m gonna say is Doyoung can give a lot more away than Jaehyun. When Doyoung is with Taeyong, Johnny, or whoever they do shippy things he seems more mellow. When it’s with Jaehyun he becomes giddy/nervous/cautious. Also, their actions towards one another is a dead give away of them actually being closer than what’s on the surface. I am in wonderment about their relationship and I wish I could give more details, but it would be too long.

When I went through 2017 on tw I was surprised how often JaeDo kept to each other in airports. Despite the tension, Doyoung clinging to Tae or WW, Jae clinging to Mark or WW, Doyoung still couldn't distance himself completely and there stayed something from before (their habit of going everywhere together).

As for the current situation. Look at how other members treat them. They treat them as a couple. You need to pay less attention to the spikes (Doyoung pretending he doesn't know who Jaehyun is one day, getting red during IG live another day) and see the basic line. Things like Jaehyun going "I'm the number one" and Doyoung saying nothing in return. Jaehyun being rather quiet about "stir, stir" in comparison to others, but still being fond of the joke.

I'm a bit surprised the development of their relationship from 2018 onwards is not clear. It follows getting together-honeymoon-married life to a T. Jae's jealousy goes down, his control over himself gets better, Doyoung's ability to not get flustered also gets better (with some exceptions, but he was really bad in the summer of 2018), etc. I can't name a single event that doesn't make sense and doesn't fit the scenario. Doyoung grew up but his brain is still a beehive, he can malfunction faced with something he is not prepared for, and what puts him in a hard place (like members asking him to dance in the past, Heechul asking provocative questions, and Jaehyun commenting on his IG in 2021). Jaehyun called Doyoung cool in 2018 (Boss bts) and continue doing it in 2020 (agents concept games). Jaehyun as a puppy following Doyoung hasn't changed, but with each year he gets more assured and audacious. Noone takes things out of Doyoung's hands but Jaehyun.

I don't know, maybe if "Jaehyun is permitted to do it" things are written down and compared with other neos it would become finally evident?

Doyoung pretends he doesn't remember anything about Jaehyun, and the latter is blissfully OK with it, and enjoys Doyoung's rumblings instead. This security doesn't come from being just another friend. Johnny gets vexed when Do ignores him.

The first character I first fell in love with:

Sephiroth ghdfkjgdf. The catboy got me in an iron-like grip despite his backstory having more character than him (he’s still really cool tho wah ;;) 🙄

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Cloud and Aerith! Especially the former as the remake gave me a MUCH better look at what his character is like and the growth he goes through in the game.

The same also applies to Aerith! Since my only exposure to their characters was Kingdom Hearts and oh man........ their characters and voice acting is so bad in that game ghjkghf (the latter especially is very wooden, which is VERY jarring compared to people like Sora, Riku, Donald and Goofy).

Also, Nanaki! His story is my favourite in the game when the team makes it to Cosmo Canyon and it’s also been the only backstory to make me cry so far on my playthrough of the OG game ghdfg. It’s very sweet :>

Vaati and Fi tbh! I used to not think much about them way back when, but now I adore them both sm! Vaati is basically a young man trying to act like he's much older, and Fi helped me so much when I played SS! She pushed me on the right path when I would get stuck in dungeons :>

I’m also very fond of Ganondorf, especially TP Ganon since I grew up with that incarnation. I do feel he does fall into the box of wasted potential sometimes though, and that Nintendo just Do Not explore other aspects of him. WW Ganon breaks that mold slightly, but he deserves more variety in how he’s written! I still love seeing him on screen, he just needs to be handled with better care.

The character everyone else loves that I don’t:

ZANT he is the very embodiment of mischaracterization to the point it sounds like nails on a chalkboard. I can't stand him. The same can be said for Demise as well, but his woobiefication isn't as vast as Zant's from what I've seen.

It warmed you up seeing how they love each other.

Hoodie :

Relationships was the last thing you wanted because you were raising a 5 year old child and living alone made it harder. And when Hoodie courted you before you immediately turned him down because you had a son to raise. That didn't stop him though.

Hoodie kept showing up at your house and offering to look after your child when you go out to work and whenever new furniture was needed or if your son wanted a toy you'd be surprised to see that every same object you needed to turn up at your living room the next day.

Your son was autistic but he grew softer when Hoodie was around. When you're too tired to work expect to see hoodie cooking and already setting up the table for you.

When your sick from overworking yourself he'd take care of you . Because of this you fell even deeper to the charms of this man. Which led you to finally saying yes.

After you two started dating nothing changed much but he did force you to stop working too much so you could spend time with him and your son.

Hey there! It sure has been a while, huh. ww; But, hey, I kept my promise!

So, how have you guys been? I’ve been rather busy. America is cool, but this university is quite demanding sometimes. I’m not complaining, considering I came here to work and all, but I wish I had some extra time. All I want to do after I’m done with my classes and homework is be lazy, to be perfectly honest.

What have you all been up to? Since I last showed my stupid head around here, I beat Undertale (just beaten—no true endings whatsoever), Layton and the Unwound Future (SO GOOD AND SO SAD) and Portal. I have also been rewatching Inazuma with my significant other, which is awesome! Oh, and I watched the newest Tri movie. It might not be perfect, but I get so easily pumped with that.

…And I have also been working on this nightmare.

Never in your wildest dreams would you assume that these four views took well over 20 hours of work (although I’d be willing to bet it took over 30). And that’s if we don’t take into account the amount of time I spent on OLDER VERSIONS OF THIS. I have been procrastinating on Fubuki’s miximax for years because I knew it would kill me. But, luckily, I’m not dead. I just wished I was a couple tens of times during the process. I hope @miyukiko​ won’t kill me either when she sees this, considering what I’ve done to her baby.

But it’s done! The result might not be the best and the rust might not help either, but this is it! Fubuki is finally done!! And, considering I have been working on this little shit for 2-3 years, I have my fair share of ideas about him. I’ll only cover one subject today, though.

Anyway, just in case anyone has never watched Digimon (which is a sin according to 8 different major religions), Fubuki is miximaxed with Gabumon, one of the main characters from Digimon Adventure, 02 and Tri! Not my personal favourite, but fairly awesome nonetheless.

Okay, let’s do this!

As I said, there’s a lot to say about FubuGabu. For once, I know what FubuGabu’s powers and hissatsus are. There’s a lot of little things to say about his design. I have details about his backstory and even about small, useless facts. I know about FubuGabu’s personality, Keshin and even Soul. But, today, let’s go for a much anticipated approach. …Not really.

Since I already mentioned it once, let’s talk about groups. If you don’t know what I mean with “groups,” feel free to check this out.

I will assume you all remember what I already mentioned about Fubuki and Someoka forming a duo within this project (and not just within this project, honestly—they make a pretty great team!). If you are late to the party or your memory is simply almost as bad as mine, though, feel free to check THIS LINK to see what the heck was going on there.

First of all, let’s look at what (else) ties them together. I will skip the points I already explained last time, though.

The first and most obvious new point that puts them together in a group is, of course, that they are both miximaxed with monsters! And not just any kind of monsters, but the best kinds of monsters. I can hear someone screaming “MONSTER RANCHER SH*TS ON POKÉMON EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK” from here, so let’s point out that we are talking about popularity here. Ww

Pokémon and Digimon have always been the big guys when it comes to monsters beating the crap out of each other, but they have always been big rivals. For decades, people have punched each other’s faces while debating which franchise is better. Someoka, too, once considered Fubuki his biggest rival and a big piece of shit. But Fubuki and Someoka grew to be great friends, and, now, much like them, Pokémon and Digimon have joined for a common cause too:

Kick ass. (not really)

Because of this, with a bunch of love in my heart for these two, I call this group the Monster Duo. Beast Duo sounds better to me, but the “mon” in Digimon and Pokémon is there for a reason, all right.

So, yes, fictional monsters link Someoka and Fubuki together. But that’s far from being all. Combining the two concepts I have already mentioned, note how both of them have miximaxed with ice beasts! This doesn’t just make them awfully strong, but it also boosts their compatibility a great deal!

This is especially obvious when this terrific duo performs its combination hissatsu, Wyvern Blizzard. Not only it gets a powered up, but Someoka goes all out and, instead of summoning his usual wyvern, Zekrom himself comes to the field and wreaks havoc. This imbues the ball not only with Fubuki’s ice, but also with Someoka’s electricity, creating a shot like none other before.

Fubuki does something very special too at the time of kicking the ball, actually, but that will have to wait until we talk about FubuGabu’s powers some other day.

Okay, we know that these two are ready to kill people. That’s awesome and all. But what about them? What’s their dynamic like?

We all know Fubuki and Someoka. They actually have a really courteous and kind relationship! They truly care about each other and their well-being. But, in this story of sorts, they have already known each other for a good while now. It’s been well over a year now. Before this whole and unknown mess happened, Someoka and Fubuki were each playing for the respective schools—in other words, away from each other.

Being able to play together again is a breath of fresh air for them both. They came to trust each other a great deal during their Aliea and FFI days, so their first goal is to recover the complicity they once had. They will soon find this to be much more challenging than they thought it would be, however.

There is a big difference between growing apart from someone and growing without someone. Someoka and Fubuki haven’t just been sitting on their butts. They have practised and learnt a lot on their own, at Raimon and at Hakuren.

Suddenly, their style doesn’t match anymore. It doesn’t click as immediately as it once did. Fubuki isn’t the same he was when he first met Someoka, and Someoka’s view of life is completely different too. Fubuki’s mind is at peace now that the spirit of Atsuya isn’t screwing up with him, and he isn’t the reckless and mindless beast he once was. Someoka has come to trust himself more than anyone else after not being selected for Inazuma Japan during the first selection. In a sense, their roles have reversed. This wasn’t an issue when they could still train together often, but time has opened a rift between them. A rift that seems too big to jump across.

This is not to say that they aren’t friends, though, and that’s what makes it tough. It’s not that they don’t feel like playing together anymore—it’s that they are starving for it, but they fail whenever they try to. It’s rather frustrating to be fond of someone and see that you simply can’t understand them anymore. Their old dynamic is lost, and trying to work around it is useless.

…Or is it?

This is where their miximaxes come into play. Kyurem’s incomplete on its own and seeks to join forces with someone compatible with it out of sheer instinct. Gabumon’s (or, rather, Garurumon’s) savage style resembles the fierce plays Atsuya’s spirit once brought to the field. This might be just what these two close friends needed in order to remember what used to make their teamwork great: fast, ferocious and dependent plays that wouldn’t work without a perfect bond.

It’s not enough to bring them back to the position they used to be in, but it’s just enough for a reminder. This change in their attitude—as I have mentioned before, people’s personality changes upon mixitransing—brings them to a middle point that they can work with. Their plays begin to connect. They can see why and how things work now and not before. It gives them a starting point—a way to learn how their friend has changed and how to cooperate with him. To put it simply, they are learning again that they are reliable partners.

There is probably a lot more to say about FubuGabu and SomeKyu, but the fact that SomeKyu is way newer than FubuGabu hasn’t allowed me to think of their relationship as much as I have thought about everything else. …And whom am I trying to kid? I have purposefully avoided thinking about FubuGabu for OBVIOUS REASONS. But, hey, I can work around things! If you feel like I missed any important points, please let me know and I’ll see what else there is to say!

In any case, I really love Monster Duo and pretty much everything about them. Their story isn’t as dramatic as it could be, but I feel like these two have already endured enough drama before. Let them focus on other things instead, even if it’s just for once. They deserve to be happy and have problems that are easy to work with! And, needless to say, they deserve soccer-related problems. That would actually be new. ww

Oh, and I want Monster Duo to have a brand new combo hissatsu, but I’m still thinking about it. It’s 4 am now, though, so I’m definitely not going to figure it out right now, I’m afraid. It’s sleepy time for me.

Vegetable Soup - Its Delicious

Hi all,  My name is Uttam Sheth. Like every week I used to post something about my cooking flavors. Check out my new and healthy cooking post. (lavenderandlovage).

Hot on the heels of my last “healthy” new year recipe for 5:2 Diet & WW Chicken Mergeuz Meatballs, which has proved to be very popular, is my latest creation,“Snowy Day” Vegetarian Mulligatawny Soup. Today’s recipe was made yesterday, for a cold and snowy day here in North Yorkshire, where a big bowl of something tasty and steaming hot was needed for lunch. I am staying with my mum at the moment, and she is vegetarian, so, it was a great excuse to develop and create a meat-free Mulligatawny style soup; we all love spicy food in my family, and my dad was a wizard with the spice rack, with his prawn curry being the pièce-de-résistance of his culinary repertoire. I love the classic meaty mulligatawny soup, and even the tinned ones have a certain appeal too, but a meat-free version has to be just as good, as it’s the spices that count in this Indian soup recipe.

The British have always been fond of highly spiced food, a taste which can be traced back in our cooking to medieval times, and which can be seen today in our pungent commercially prepared sauces and mustards. This tasty curried broth belongs to the early nineteenth century and is part of the heritage of the British Raj. British people who spent years in India grew to love the local spicy food and brought back their favourite recipes which were adapted in the Victorian kitchen. “Pepper Water” was the nearest thing to soup in the cuisine of India, and indeed the word mulligatawny comes from the Tamil words molegoo (pepper) and tunes (water). It was originally a vegetarian ‘sauce’, but the British added meat and various other ingredients to create a variety of mulligatawny soups, which were popular in India and Ceylon, but had an extremely bad press back home in England! And, so you see, a veggie version is more authentic than I originally thought.

My job was made MUCH easier with the help of my new OXO Easy Grips Vegetable Chopper and Silicone Lemon Squeezer. I chopped all of the vegetables and the apple in a trice, and the lemon was squeezed in a jiffy too, with the silicone squeezer, and with no pips. The vegetable chopper has an easy pour opening, which means that the veggies are just poured straight into the pan. I washed the chopper by hand in soapy water, but the chopper is also dish-washer proof. The chopper had no problems at all with the vegetables (and fruit) I used in today’s recipe…..which were onions, carrots, parsnips and apples. The other great thing about this, is when chopping onions, there are NO TEARS! The stainless steel blade pattern and recessed cutting area keeps food in place while the lid provides leverage for efficient chopping, it’s really all so easy and very convenient.

The soup was wonderful, very filling and beautifully spiced with an added sweetness of the apple and mango chutney. Serve this meat-free mulligatawny with extra rice and chutney, and a good squeeze of lemon juice. Each comforting bowl is a lovely light and low 215 calories, or 245 calories with an extra dollop of mango chutney if you wish. If calories are not an issue, than serve this soup with naan bread and assorted sambals such as grated coconut, diced cucumber, diced tomatoes, sultanas and peanuts on the side, as you would with a traditional mulligatawny. I hope you will enjoy this recipe as much as we did, and if you really want to “beef it up” then you can of course add some shredded cooked chicken and some diced boiled eggs. 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil

1 large onion (peeled and diced)

2 cloves garlic (peeled and finely minced)

4 small carrots or 2 large carrots (peeled and diced)

2 parsnips (peeled and diced)

1 large eating apple (peeled, cored and diced)

1 tablespoon top quality curry powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

1 teaspoon black onion seeds

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

600mls hot vegetable stock

2 tablespoons tomato puree

1 tablespoon mango churney (plus extra to serve)

250g cooked Basmati rice

salt to taste

chopped fresh coriander or parsley

1 lemon (cut into quarters to serve)
