Speakerman (OC: Oliver) x Reader

It is late in the afternoon, where the sun is starting to set. The units came back from their mission, some wounded and some had a few scratches and dents.

(Y/n), the human survivor that now resides in the Alliance base, sat in the mess hall, eating their meal. Just a simple recipe for mac and cheese they remembered back then... Before the toilet creatures took over.

Beside them, sat a humanoid figure with a dark grey speaker for a head. Yes, this object-headed figure is in fact one of the members of the Alliance. A speakerman, dressed in a fancy suit. He sat with his head propped up by his hands, curiously watching his human friend.

His curiosity didn't go unnoticed, the human stopped eating to look at the speakerman. "Oliver? What's up, bud?", (Y/n) asks him. Oliver, the speakerman in question, moves his hand and points towards their mouth and tilts his head. "You're wondering about my mouth?" A nod confirms it. "Oh, so you're wondering about that! Well, us humans need to consume food and water to keep ourselves alive. Our mouth isn't only just for speaking and sometimes breathing, it is used to take in the necessary things to survive." They explain briefly before resuming in eating their meal. They stop to continue, "The food goes in, our stomach processes it, then the needed nutrients are delivered to everywhere in our body through our blood. If we don't get enough food or water then, well, we die."

Oliver nods, as if saying 'Ahhh, so that's how it works.'

Fascinating, he thought. He watches the human finish their meal. The grey speaker headed man scratched the back of his neck. Being around the object head for a while, (Y/n) learnt what some gestures mean, "Oli, no need to apologize. You're more than welcome to ask me anything, whether it be about my biology or the way we do things. Please don't feel embarrassed!" The human threw themself at Oliver and wrapped their arms around his waist, giving him a hug.

His shoulders bounce slightly, his version of a chuckle, as he wrapped his arms around his friend. Oliver is just glad that the human doesn't find his curiosity annoying.

Laveñintio Caverns (name by @sugary-spider), a poor 10-11 year old grump who'd been forced into the caverns (dangerous location on hunger island) and has lived there since they'd hatched.

They're an orphan, as both parents died in the caverns before their hatching. But unfortunately do to isolation they cannot speak nor communicate properly. But they try their best to lick and clean their self, even if they don't know how to fully do it.

Unfortunately as there's nothing that grows in the caverns, they've been eating bugsnax their entire life. Oddly enough... Something in the caverns must have done something to their genetics... Because the bugsnax do nothing to their body.

@thatcrazycrowgirl has this awesome post about Arno and 41 y/o Jacob and I've had IDEAS but I've been invited to expand on it SO

-These two are such a dynamic

-I'm going to assume a Jacob personality closer to JtR but not exactly JtR (this is modern) but like sort of mellowed out from his wild 20 smth year old personality but still knows when to go off and can have fun (just now he has to worry about his knee more)

-I feel like him and Arno would literally just meet in the most random place both mentally and physically

-like you know that meme of the burnt out 20 smth year old and the middle aged father he's stares at with absolute thirst? yeah that them

-Arno's never bagged an older guy but he's not going to say no to trying

-He's gone through a handful of relationships that crashed and burned (Elise was on and off, he and Napoleon had good tension but not much else) and was very certain that maybe something different was needed

-Him and Jacob just start off as a one time thing, which eventually become two and three, and then they're meeting in the daytime, and 'oh god its a thing, isn't it??' Arno thinks to himself as he's watching Jacob order coffee with more sugar than someone his age should drink compared to Arno's black as night coffee

-He doesn't mind holding Jacob's hand across the table after that revelation but doesn't say anything and just smiles an awful lot as he listens to Jacob talk about fixing his car and it almost dropping on his foot

-but Jacob also really really is into him bc he's so interesting. He loves that Arno is so passionate and willing to stick to his guns, and if he believes in something to be right he will stay by it, no matter what, and loves causes to get into

-But he also has a lot of strength in him that Jacob eventually sees, and can tell he's

-Arno pretends not to get insecure, but sometime he does when he thinks that Jacob is too old or mature or wise for him (a lot of him is worrying that Jacob's with him just to feel good bc he's young, which is an entirely unreasonable fear, but he can't help it)

-(also Jacob tends not to get TOO grumpy abt getting older bc its a scam to feel bad abt being older and he is really happy bc he actually made it, but also sometimes he feels a bit bad when Arno is raring to go another few hours out but its 10pm and Jacob wants to go to bed)

-(Arno is always right there with him anyway and will happily and gently tease him the next morning on if he wants breakfast in bed so he doesn't have to strain himself and Jacob always threatens to kick him out of the bed but accepts the breakfast bc yes, and it rules)

-Arno slowly starts to overtake Jacob's living space though and that's kind of how it becomes official bc at first it's leaving a toothbrush space open, and then moving some stuff out for Arno has a drawer, and then a few racks for his coats, and then he's basically over there all the time

-And then Arno kind of stops one day when they're having coffee (that Arno made because god Jacob only knows the tea life) and says he loves him and wants to move in with him

-And Jacob ofc accepts and they have an epic come together moment <3

Sorry I’m Rollisi trash, I can’t stop thinking about how happy they make each other and how if you told s15 Amanda that she would be loved this much she would never have believed it, and if you’d told s19 Carisi he’d get the girl he would have thought you were screwing with him.

Now they’re married and they have a family, and they look at each other like that. And smile.
