The rest of the world cares about American politics because it's EVERYWHERE. There is no boat from Belgian or German parties - and we share a border with those countries. I'm sure there are Belgian and German people living in the Netherlands, but only the Americans have a boat in the pride parade to reach out and remind their people to vote from abroad.
