Jason not telling anyone about his birthday is just... So sad on so many levels.. and literally nobody in the fandom talks about it (so I will duh)..only Piper had to figure it out and ask him about it, even then, he was embarassed to admit it.. proves how much nobody ever made him feel special about his true self or ever told him that he was worth being born :( He feels ashamed about making his birthday about himself even though that's the whole point of birthdays, because he feels that he isn't important enough :(
he just shrugs off his birthday, a day that is supposed to be about you, because "they have bigger problems". He has been told his whole life, to shrug off his own personal issues to put everyone else above him in the Roman legion, that not even birthdays make much sense for him.
Jason never ended up telling anyone about his birthday in the end either. Only Piper and Thalia knew. And his only known birthday was the day Annabeth and Percy fell into tartarus.

Back in winter 2022 I started working on a comic of one of my favorite nsfw oneshots, Practical Demonstration, made like five pages, and then promptly dropped it cause I was still in the midst of Art Block From Hell, among other reasons
but the fic series recently got an update and I read it on a flight last week, which has renewed the brainworms :)
The comic's FAR from finished (I've thumbnailed the entire thing and it comes out to twenty-eight pages, while I have thirteen of those pages in varying stages of completion) but I've been having a lot of fun working on it and forcing myself to try and learn new things (backgrounds/environments, in this case) in the pursuit of Harvey Smut LOL
I thought I'd post some WIP shit here, in case ADHD gets my ass and I end up dropping it again 😭 pray for me

#I MAY HAVE GOTTEN A LITTLE SILLY WITH DISCORDS DESIGN#like his original design makes sense because its described as mostly pony with a bunch of other things thrown in. cause yknow chaos#and I dont have a problem with it but I wanted to try something else#mostly riffing off of daycare attendent and the collector. but I like the idea of his colors mismatching when using magic#like the dark blue spots become orange and vice versa. it looked really cool in my head#fluttershys bat design partly inspired by the Honduran white bat and ghost bats#I like the idea that they turn her back but she still has bat wings hidden under her feathers. makes her a quiet flyer shrugs#and I have never ever seen a single drawing of flutterbat with a bat nose and its a crime#also they r very cute to me.
