Vision 2050: N Chandrababu Naidu's Inspiring Call to Indian Youth for Future Development
In the wake of unprecedented disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, visionary leaders have emerged with the foresight to see opportunities amid chaos. One such luminary is N Chandrababu Naidu, the president of the National Telugu Desam Party (TDP), whose recent virtual address to the youth at IIT Bombay resonated with a call for
transformative development over the next 30 years in India. Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu's virtual address was not just a speech; it was a roadmap for the future. Emphasizing the need to imagine, visualize, adapt, and innovate, he urged the youth to play a pivotal role in ushering in a qualitative transformation in the country. Drawing parallels with his success in executing the Vision 2020 document designed in 1999, Naidu stressed the significance of having a clear vision and meticulous execution. People can see the whole information about this in the Latest political news.
Tumblr media
Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu's legacy includes the successful creation of Hi-tech City, which evolved into the bustling business district known as Cyberabad. His approach, marked by patience, persuasion, and perseverance, is a blueprint for TDP leaders. The Vision 2020 document, which catapulted his first project into a thriving hub for global companies, exemplifies the power of a clear vision and steadfast execution. Looking forward, Naidu outlined three critical areas for the development of Indian youth – information technology, non-conventional energy, and skilling. Emphasizing the importance of IT literacy, proficiency in handling machine tools, and artificial intelligence, he underscored these skills' role in determining success in the future job market. Harnessing India's strength in mathematics and English, Naidu believes, can significantly benefit the nation.
The summit featured distinguished speakers, each contributing unique perspectives. Lyricist Javed Akhtar highlighted the role of language in shaping thought. At the same time, nuclear physicist Kakodkar and digital revolution pioneer Sam Pitroda stressed the importance of science, technology, and robust digital infrastructure. Arvind Panagariya, the first chairman of NITI Ayog, emphasized the pivotal role economic policy plays in driving development. The TDP, under Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu's leadership, has been a driving force in India's development journey. With a strong focus on IT, the party has been instrumental in creating business hubs like Cyberabad. The TDP's emphasis on non-conventional energy sources and robust advocacy for skill development align with the evolving needs of the country.
Looking ahead, the speakers collectively emphasized the need for a clear vision and a focus on science and technology to drive development in India. The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the critical role of digital infrastructure and accelerated the demand for IT literacy. The TDP, with N. Chandrababu Naidu at the helm, is poised to continue driving development in these critical areas. The tumultuous landscape shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic presents unique opportunities for transformation. Leaders like N Chandrababu Naidu, through their visionary calls to action, have provided a roadmap for the future. Emphasizing the importance of clear vision, science and technology, and language and digital infrastructure, they have set the stage for Indian youth to seize these opportunities and drive development in India. The future, under the guidance of such leaders and with the active participation of the youth, holds the promise of a brighter and more technologically advanced India.

I always liked to imagine KOV is just a D&D campaign that the yhs characters all played in.
This thought caused me to wonder what each of the character’s dnd characters are. This includes side characters but some of them are also gonna be replacing some KOV characters.
Sam is a human fighter 1 because he thinks it’s cool and 2 because he’s a basic bitch. He has proficiencies in athletics and intimidation because irl he is neither of those things. His fighting style is great weapon fighting and he uses a spear. His lowest stats are constitution and charisma. He thinks constitution is useless, and he originally had charisma higher but Taurtis made him lower it. He has folk hero as his background, his lifestyle is squalid, and his alignment is chaotic good. His artisan’s tool is cook’s utensils. Along with his spear he has chainmail armour, a shield, and an explorer’s pack.
Taurtis is a halfling rogue. I don’t think I need to explain that one. He has proficiencies in stealth, sleight of hand, acrobatics, and deception with expertise in stealth and sleight of hand but whenever he rolls for any of them he fails because he has really bad luck. His dump stats are intelligence and wisdom and his top stats are dexterity and charisma. His background is criminal and has a disguise kit and a playing card set. His alignment is neutral evil and his lifestyle is squalid. He has two short swords, a burglar's pack, and leather armour.
Grian is a high elf wizard. I also think he is the only one out of the main three who had played before. He has proficiencies in arcana and history. His starting cantrips are create bonfire, gust, light, and mage hand (one of them he got from his race) and his starting spell is magic missile. His top stat is intelligence and his bottom stats are strength and dexterity. His extra language is gnomish. His background is sage, his alignment is chaotic neutral, and his lifestyle is poor. His arcane focus is a staff and he has a scholar’s pack.
A quick side note, I personally think Ellen is the DM but if she did have a character that showed up at some point it would 100% be a warlock and I will fight that point to the grave.
Dom is Prince Ralph. I think that’s kinda obvious considering his face and the fact that he plays him in KOV. He’s a human bard but not like a musical bard, his performance is him doing public shows (executions) with him as the announcer. He speaks elvish because I think that’s something he would have had to learn as royalty. The only musical instrument he has proficiency in is horm because he blows it to announce executions. His skills are intimidation, investigation, and deception. He has vicious mockery, message, charm person, hideous laughter, sleep, and unseen servant as his cantrips and spells. His top stats are charisma and wisdom and his bottom stats are strength and constitution. His background is a noble, he’s lawful evil, and he’s an aristocrat. He has a diplomat’s pack, leather armour, a dagger, and a horn.
J is roughly going to be based off of that wizard that protects Ralph. He is a half elf sorcerer. He has an ability score increase in strength and intelligence with skill versatility in intimidation and performance. He has proficiencies in arcana and insight and a blue draconic bloodline. J got really good stats but his highest is charisma and his lowest is constitution. His background is soldier and his added skill proficiency is arcana. He’s lawful neutral and his lifestyle is wealthy. He has two daggers, a staff as his arcane focus, and an explorer's pack.
Rowan is Olaf the viking HOWEVER OKAMI IS NOT OLGA I WILL GO ON RECORD SAYING THAT. He is a goliath barbarian and has proficiencies in intimidation, acrobatics, and survival. His highest stat is strength and his lowest is intelligence. His background is as a soldier, he’s chaotic good, and is modest. He has a greataxe and two handaxes.
I have ideas for more characters so I might do a part two of this maybe idk.

Quinquennial Life Assessment
So, it’s been a few years.  When I was 19 I posted a sort of “roadmap” for the evolution of my life on this blog.  Today I thought I’d revisit that.  I want to take a look back and see what progress I’ve made, and then in a separate post I want to turn to the future, think about how my vision for it has changed, and consider how I can reincorporate these goals into that vision.
This is the list of things I wanted to get done in varying time frames.  I’ve crossed off the things I’ve done to get a sense of my progress:
1 year:
At 19, my hopes were to accomplish the following things by age 20:
- Joined, and consistently participated in, at least 2 campus organizations that suit my interests, at least 1 of which should be competitive in nature - well, I joined the ISO and KVRX, my college radio station!  Neither of those were competitive, but in retrospect I don’t really care about that :-)
- Made concrete plans to study abroad - Nope, unfortunately I never did this.  I’m not quite sure I regret that, all things considered - I traded that experience for other things.  I did make plans to spend a few months abroad of my own accord, and I would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for that meddling global pandemic.  But as it stands I haven’t done this.
- Learned C++ and python to proficiency - Hm.  “Proficient” is a relative term.  But I think I have a tendency to downplay my skills, so in the interest of counteracting that I’m going to count myself as “proficient” in these languages.  I think that’s fair.
- Gone on at least a several day road trip with at least 1 friend - I’ve gone on several trips with @meeshbug, my very lovely girlfriend and best friend in the world :-)
- Decided on a concentration beyond the extremely vague umbrella of “computer science” - Unfortunately as far as my education is concerned I never really did this.  If anything my interests have *broadened* rather than becoming more focused.  More on this later...
- Made meaningful, ongoing contributions to an open-source project - You know what?  I’ve published the source of everything I’ve ever made, and I’ve gotten to the point where I can make stuff that’s not trivial.  So I’m giving myself credit for this one.
- Learned to cook enough meals to eat in most days and not get sick of my own food - I wish.  I’ve learned to cook a fair amount of stuff but I still get way too depressed and lethargic to apply that consistently.  Whether I consider myself to have achieved this honestly depends on the month.
- Learned to keep my living area clean - I’m much better at this than I was at 19, but at 19 I could barely clear a path to walk across my room.  So there’s more work to do.  More on these last two later.
- Gotten a pet - Meesh and I have a dog named Courage (after the dog of cowardly fame) and a cat named Jax!
2 years:
- Independently written a piece of software to completion and deployed it publicly - I’ve always pretty bad at actually seeing projects through to completion, but I do have a few full, independent projects under my belt at this point.  I’ve built a simple game engine, a pathtracer, plugins for games I like, and some other stuff.
- purchased and begun regularly using some basic amateur radio equipment - Ah man.  I got my license but I still haven’t gotten any equipment.  I guess I have to get on that...
- purchased and begun experimenting with some basic music recording equipment - This one I’ve done, but I haven’t done as much experimenting as I’d like.
- hosted a party - I did this for my 21st birthday and it’s one of my favorite memories!  Honestly this was probably the last time I had all my really close friends in one place.  I’m actually getting kind of emotional about that.
- done some kind of hallucinogen - I have now done this.  I definitely did get something out of it, albeit not what I expected.  This is something I actually only did pretty recently and it’s still having a pretty profound effect.  Maybe I’ll write a separate post about this.
- Gone camping with friends - Despite my best efforts, this hasn’t happened yet.  Pretty fucked up.
3 years:
- learned to play another instrument besides the piano (guitar?) - I don’t feel comfortable crossing this one off quite yet, but I went ahead and bought myself some guitar equipment and have been messing around with it lately :-) I think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and pay for lessons if I’m serious about this, which I am.
- Written and recorded a song - Damn, I can’t believe it’s been 5 years and I haven’t even done this.
- Met a group of people I can play music with - nope
- Owned a leather jacket.  I can’t believe I’ve still never even owned a leather jacket - I’ve done this and wore it frankly too much.  Kinda cringe.
- Worked as a professional software developer - Yep!  Worked as a software developer for a retail company for a couple years.  I’m actually not working as a software developer right now, though; I’m working in a sort of adjacent position.  More on this later.
- Participated in research related to my field - That’s pretty ambitious.  Not sure I’ll ever do this, unfortunately.  But we’ll see.
- Been to a film festival - Oh shit, I totally forgot about having written this.  That’s a cool idea.  I should do this, it’s not like it’s hard (well, at least in principle.  I guess covid kind of changes the situation).
- Gotten a dog - Courage is one of those, I think, although he might also be part rat.
- collected 50 records - Lol, my dumb ass really thought I was going to buy $1,000 worth of records on college money.  No, I haven’t done this, but I’m on my way there.
- Purchased a desktop computer - Well, my dad gave me his old desktop.  That’s not really a purchase but I think it counts.
5 years:
- Begun accepting freelance development gigs - haven’t gotten here yet and I’m not totally sure this is a direction I want to go in my career.  Freelancing has its own stressors as I’ve come to learn from others.  No career path is sunshine and roses and I’m trying to internalize this fact.
- Participated in a student film - Nope.  I don’t even know why I wrote this down to be honest.
- Gotten laid by solving a 5x5 Rubik’s Cube in front of a girl because surely that’s gonna have to work on someone eventually, otherwise I wasted a lot of time - These are getting weird.  Surely I didn’t really expect this to happen, right?  Well, either way I now have a long-term girlfriend, so I don’t - wait, Meesh has seen me solve a Rubik’s cube and she saw it before we started dating.  So actually I’m going to give myself credit for it.  I’m the one who makes the rules here.
- Fleshed out my political opinions - Yes, I now know everything about politics and can answer 100% of questions on political issues.  Just kidding.  But I know where I stand.
- Participated in a protest or some other kind of political event - Done!  Went to a few protests as part of the ISO, participated in lots of their events, and attended some protests with friends as well.
- Studied abroad - Nope :-/
- Learned a language other than Spanish - I took a semester of French!  But I don’t quite want to give myself credit for this one because I really would like to learn a different language to something resembling fluency.
- Run a marathon - Lmao.  I am in much worse shape now than I was when I wrote this post, and even at that time I could probably do like 7 miles if I really pushed myself.  How sad.
- Gone hiking outside of texas - This is weird because I’d literally already done this when I wrote this post.  But I’ve done it more since then, so hey!
- Been out of the country with a friend - This I had also already done.  I guess the point is to have done it without “adult supervision” or whatever.  I haven’t done this since writing this list so I guess I have to leave it uncrossed.
10 years:
- Lived with a girl for an extended period of time - Meesh 🥰
- Spent at least 6 months living on the road in an RV, preferably with a dog and a girl - God, I am so close to being able to do this.  I don’t want it to be an RV anymore - those things are expensive.  But a van?  Still pricey, but doable, especially if I’m willing to sacrifice some comfort.  This has actually been front-of-mind for a while.  I’ll let you know when I get the balls to pull the trigger.
- Started making Real Money - Well, yep, I have gotten to that point.  I do have other thoughts on this, though.  Money is weird, man.
- Lived in a long-term living space outside of Texas (i.e. not including RV time) - How long is long-term?  Three months?  If so, I’ve done this by living in Boston with Meesh for a few months after she went there for law school.  However, I anticipate staying there much longer in the near future, so I’ll wait on this crossing this one off.
- Written a book about something, idk - Not yet.  I’m halfway to the deadline on this one and I have some ideas, but ideas aren’t worth all that much, especially to me, who rarely sees them through.  We’ll see where this goes.  It’s not exactly a priority and historically I struggle to get even my priorities done.  It might make more sense to replace this with recording a concept or narrative album, for which I also have ideas that I happen to take more seriously.
- Learned to solve a 6x6 Rubik’s Cube - nope
- Gotten laid by solving a 6x6 Rubik’s Cube - nope
- Lived in an apartment where I pay all the rent - Yes!  :-))) We love independence
- Earned an advanced degree (this one’s iffy) - This hasn’t happened, and whether it will ever happen is something I’ve been thinking a lot about.  I sort of decided half-way through college that I would be totally burned out on school by the time I graduated.  But in retrospect it takes way less time to burn out on work than it does to burn out on school, and grad degrees are a different kind of thing.  So it’s worth revisiting.’
- Given a best man speech (Sam, this means you have to get married within the next 10 years.  Good luck out there.) - Holy shit, Sam, you maniac, you actually did it!  Sam got married back in 2019 and I gave his best man speech! It’s another one of my favorite memories :-)
- Gone on a cruise with someone I’m dating - Hmm, not yet.  I’ve gone on cool trips, but none on a boat.  Maybe that’s something to aim for after the pandemic passes :-)
Retrospective:
1yr: Completed: 5/9
More than half isn’t bad!  I’m not gonna worry too much about whether I got these things done within their assigned “time-frame”.  I’m a procrastinator in my heart and I don’t see any reason to put that kind of pressure on myself.  The point is, they got done.  That’s enough for me.
The things I did best in in this category were academic things, and things to do with relationships.  I’m proud of the academic achievements, I really feel like doing them has increased my belief in myself and my sense that I’m good at the thing I’ve spent the last four years studying.  And of course, I am so happy to be in a loving, fulfilling relationship that brings so many good things into my life.  I almost feel like the things I accomplished sort of fell into my lap - of course I’m gonna do programming stuff as a programming student, and getting pets / going on road trips are things I did as a result of my relationship with Meesh.  I don’t say that to downplay the accomplishments, but I do think it’s worth noting.
The things I haven’t done are more to do with personal development, which is disappointing.  I would like to be able to say, 5 years down the road, that I’ve done the personal development I expected to do in just a single year, but maybe that’s a lot to expect.  These are problems I’ve dealt with my whole life.  I think what this means is that I can’t expect everything to fall into my lap.  Those things are going to take real concerted effort to change.  I’m not quite sure how to go about that, though.
2yrs: Completed: 4/6
Two-thirds!  Even better!
Lots of these are one-time accomplishments, not so much long-term commitments to personal development.  The good news is, I did them, and I think those resulted in some development in their own right :-)
Again, though, the things I didn’t do so well are the things that require long-term, concerted effort.  For instance, while I crossed off the one about experimenting with music, it’s really only the initial investment that I’ve really done at this point.  It remains to be seen whether I’ll be able to follow through on the commitment to actually experiment and learn.
3yrs: Completed: 4/10
This category also follows the same pattern I’ve noticed with the last two.  The other thing I’m noticing is that so, so much of my effort over the past few years has been going towards developing a very particular skill: programming / computer science.  Music and art are so important to me, but I’ve done very little real development in those areas.  I mean, I’ve done some.  But not as much as I would have hoped for half a decade.
5yrs: Completed: 4/10
This is getting a little more fun because less of my goals have to do explicitly with my degree.  I’m starting to think beyond college, which is good, because the stage of life I’m in right now requires me to start thinking about the kind of life I want to build now that I’m done with school.  Also, I’m at the deadline for this one right now!  So this is a particularly interesting category because it really shows where I thought I’d be by this time.
The goals I accomplished in this timeframe are, again, mostly things I’ve done through my relationship, but politics also feature pretty prominently on this part of the list.  I spent a lot of time reading and researching political issues during college and really did look for ways to participate.  I honestly made politics a pretty big part of my identity over the last 5 years, and I think it will stay that way forever, but I’ve gotten to the point where I think I need to devote less of my mental energy to knowing more.  I know what I need to know.  It’s time to think about other things.
10yrs: Completed: 4/11 (and counting!)
There’s some career stuff in this section that I’ve been able to do, which is good news.  I’ve always been scared about entering the working world.  All things told, it’s gone more smoothly than it could have.  But I also have lots of lingering doubts about what I want to do in the long term.  So one of the most pressing goals I should aim for is to resolve those doubts.
Ultimately, I have a lot of time left, and I’m not even done with this time frame, so I’m not gonna spend much time dissecting the things I haven’t done.  What I’ll do instead is say that while I didn’t do everything on this list, I feel proud of the things I have accomplished.  I said when I first wrote this list that it’s sometimes hard for me to feel that my life is moving in any particular direction, and I’m still feeling like that five years later, to be honest.  But looking back on these things has helped me see that I actually am making progress in my life.  Not in all the ways I want to, but that’s OK.  There’s still time.
In the next couple days I want to come back to this and reorganize this list into an updated set of goals, for the same time frames.  Maybe that will help me think through exactly what it is I want out of the next five-ten years, with the benefit of having analyzed the things that I did and didn’t do well over the previous five.

Chap. 1: Waiting For A Friend
Dean wakes up, cranky as usual. He gets down from his bunker, puts on some black jeans and a black t-shirt. He starts walking down the bus, saying a small hello to everyone he passes, getting his shoes and a shirt on the way out. That's how tour life is: busy, from the moment you wake up until you go back to sleep.
As Dean steps out of the bus he sees some of his co-workers and friends chatting, smoking, or drinking coffee near the venue. Dean walks inside the building and finds Alejandra, the tour manager, setting up signs to where everything is. He mumbled a quick "Morning" as he thought "I need to get some coffee, fast". Fortunately for him, Alejandra had already set up the signs for the bar area and he quickly found some coffee to ease his morning moodiness. He knew this was the quiet part of the job, only having small moments of rest throughout the day. Dean walks around, familiarizing himself with tonight's venue, looking at the stage, crew members already up and ready, looks up where each area is, and starts to mentally note everything while finishing his coffee. This is the little routine he has, in a place where things change every second. After the coffee, already feeling a bit more awake and cheery, he decided to go outside and join the others before the craze of the load-in would start. Finding his way outside he saw Penny, the photographer, standing outside the bus, gear in hand, getting ready to out and capture the tour life. "Morning sunshine" - Dean said in a friendly way, they had been together on tour for quite some time and he liked that small woman. She was very similar to him in terms of personality so they got along well. She was wearing a crew jacket that seemed too big for her small figure. Her red hair shone with the sunlight hitting her back while she was putting batteries in the camera. She looked up, recognizing Dean's voice, stating playfully: "I see you've had your coffee." Dean gave her a you-got-me smile and, seeing her ready the gear, asked "Getting ready already? Isn't it early?" "Not really.. You took more time than you thought in your little morning tradition. The Load-In is about to start, I want to capture some backstage stuff." "Well, I better get going too then, happy captures!" "I'll visit you later. I want to photograph the band's gear." Already walking back inside Dean yelled, "I'll be waiting." Dean walks past the trucks and sees the local crew ready to start unloading them. He finds the guitar area and gets ready to set everything up in its place. Starting to see some crew members pushing huge black plywood hard cases with aluminum sides, he rushed over and asked what they were carrying. "Amps" "That way", he pointed. Right after, two men were pushing a set of boxes, similar to the last one but a slightly different shape and division. They affirmed "Guitars", and Dean immediately took over them, pushing the box back to his area. Some other gear came around and he helped the crew members assort each box to its designated areas as fast as possible. Dean was a guitar tech on tour, a part of the tour crew, he was responsible for everything to do with guitars and bass guitars since his co-worker had decided to step away from tour world. Fortunately for Dean, a substitute was set to come up on tour to help him with the bass part. He hadn't much information about whoever was coming but he just hoped they wouldn't be a pain since living with 20 different people on a very small space would become hell, and he liked the crewmates in his bus so far. He was thinking of this as he organized each instrument, pedalboard, amplifier, and other gear inside his station so he could start doing the harder work. He's reading the band's setlist, choosing the guitars (and basses) for each song, preparing to tune them and restring each of them when he hears a deep but calm voice say "Hello, Dean". Confused, he looks back and sees a handsome man, about the same height as him, with mesmerizing blue eyes and dark hair, looking at him expectedly like he was waiting for something. "Who are you?", Dean questions, still confused. "I'm Castiel" "Castiel? What kind of a name is that?" "My.. father.. was a very religious man." Dean gives him a puzzled look. "Castiel was the name of an angel." He brushes it off but finds himself thinking "Well he got that one right." and blushes a little, immediately turning to the guitars again so Castiel doesn't see it. "So what do you need?" he manages to say while starting to string a bright red guitar, trying to sound casual. "They told me you were in charge of the basses." "You replacing Nick?", Dean suddenly turns back to Castiel, sounding too eager. When Castiel stares clueless, Dean quickly explains, "Nick was the bass tech, he used to help me manage this station, I've been waiting for months for someone." "Well I don't know if I'm staying yet but I hope so", he sounds excited to be there and Dean reminisces about himself some years back, when he had that same passion and drive to get into touring. Not that he wants to leave, but it's nice to see someone excited to not have much of a personal life. "Alright let's get you started then! First of all, you gotta lose the trenchcoat, man" Castiel seems a bit hurt from the comment and Dean quickly defends himself, "Not that it looks bad on you... It's just... we gotta be invisible, we can't go around wearing flashing outfits on the job" "Oh.. I know. It's just.. I didn't have a dark coat and it was a bit chilly out." he promptly removes the trenchcoat, setting it aside, and Dean notices how well defined he is behind the plain black shirt he's wearing underneath. "He just got in and you're already drooling over the man get a grip on yourself Dean.", he thought. Castiel starts helping Dean out, he has visibly had some experience before even though Dean has to help him in a few things and correct him in others, which is normal because every band is different. "You have some experience, huh?" "Yeah, I've been working locally. This is my first big gig though.", Castiel answers happily. "Why did your friend Nick leave?" Dean thinks of Nick, a funny guy who loved the job, not so much it seemed... "He went off to live with his partner." "Partner?" Oh oh... "I can't believe the guy's homophobic... just now I started to like him.", Dean thought. Out loud, though, he said "Yeah their partner is non-binary. You got a problem with that?" Castiel noticed he must have done something wrong and said, "No. I am utterly indifferent to sexual orientation. I'm sorry if I said something wrong." Dean was still taken aback but, upon seeing Castiel's face, he knew the guy wasn't bad after all. "Yeah don't worry about it. Anyway... Nick decided to step out to build a family or something. A bunch of bullshit if you ask me. I loved the guy, we were pretty good friends, but leaving this? All of this? For a normal life? It doesn't make any sense to me. Yeah this life is hard and we travel a lot but I mean.. I always manage to spend time with Sammy and my parents every time we go through town. Hell, I even get holidays and stuff. And we talk on the phone almost every day so it's not that bad you know?" Dean beamed when he said the words "This. All of this" and his eyes showed how much he loved his family, even though one might think differently the way he talked about being on tour. Castiel thought he was a beautiful man right when he saw him but after this hearty confession, he started to believe Dean was a very good person, which made him even more attractive. The guitars were strung, the amps were ready and the pedals were plugged in so they had a small pause before Soundcheck. Castiel was about to go get some coffee and ask Dean if he wanted something from the cafeteria when Dean got a facetime call. "You mind if I answer this?" Castiel assented with his head. "Hey! How's my girl?" Dean answered happily. Castiel saw a redheaded woman on the phone and felt bad for glancing over. He saw that she was very beautiful. "I just got some very exciting news!" Dean looked at the woman intently, waiting for her to reveal the news. "I'm gonna be doing merch for The Pretty Reckless" "Awesome! So where you joining us?", Dean seemed very happy with the news, he started walking away towards the stage to check if something was happening while still talking to the woman excitedly but always paying attention to everything surrounding him, something he had picked up from touring so many years. Castiel felt a little disappointed, he thought Dean was handsome and that his gaydar had picked something up but turns out it was wrong. "Better that way... Never good to mix dating with work anyway right?" he was thinking to himself, polishing some basses and Dean suddenly came back. "Hey! That was Charlie, she's joining us in Seattle." Before Castiel had the chance to ask who Charlie was Dean started picking stuff up while saying "Let's go, time for Soundcheck." As they reach the stage, instruments in hand, they notice the sound techs on stage talking to walkie-talkies, presumably to those in Control Room. Dean says hello to everyone as he hands the guitars to be plugged in and watched Cas copy his movements proficiently. They both get backstage and see the band get up, the lead singer and guitarist greet Dean as they get to their positions. The band plays a few songs, stopping sometimes for adjustments and start playing around with each other and the crew members. Castiel thinks to himself this is exactly where he wants to be and hopes he gets to stay long-term. Dean comes back from the stage and they wait until soundcheck is over to go get something to eat. In the bar area, they find Penny again, who Dean introduces to Castiel. "Hey, Penny! This is Cas, he's the new bass tech. Cas, this is Penny, the photographer." Castiel greets her in a friendly manner and notices Dean called him... Cas? He likes it, it's good to know he's making a good impression on his new co-worker. The afternoon passes quickly between lunch, photo ops with Penny in the guitar station, playing guitar before the show, helping around other crew members when they're not very busy on their end, even talking to the bands to see if they need anything extra for any song. Soon it's time to open doors and the merch stands fill with fans as they wait for the opening act. As the show starts, Dean signals Castiel to focus on his artists, looking for something that could go wrong and be ready to step in. They stand backstage the entire show warming up instruments, getting on stage changing them over, listening to the music, making sure everything goes as planned. Penny comes over sometimes for a couple of shots; the sound and light techs are around too; , the Production Manager observes the fire, smoke, and confetti; the lighting and sound director in front house make sure no one gets hurt and everything looks and sounds amazing. The show ends, the fans start to leave and Dean shoots a well-done look at Cas. The crew starts to pack things up as soon as the fans leave, reversing the Load-In process. Cas and Dean pack up everything in their respective boxes commenting on how good the show was and how well Cas fixed that bass problem without no one in the crowd noticing and how Dean thought he might actually stay permanently if he keeps doing well. After everyone helping load the trucks, there's time to chill a bit. Dean usually goes back to the bus and watches a movie in his bunker, since Penny usually edits the photos at that time and he doesn't have much company until later on the night. This time, since Cas is new he takes the chance to walk around and show him everything there is to see in the bus, explaining there's a bunk on top of his ("I don't like heights, that's why I chose the bottom one") where he can stay. Dean also gives him a tour of the bus, showing him the common area, introducing him to all the crew members on their bus. ("Penny doesn't stay in this bus?", Castiel asked curiously. "She likes to fly, I prefer to stay on the ground.") Later on, Cas gets a text from the Band Manager telling him to meet in the cafeteria. Dean decides to walk there with him, see if Penny is done editing, and wants to get a drink. The cafeteria is packed with everyone working the show, local and touring, hanging out having a few laughs. Dean finds Penny with Kevin, the videographer, and joins them while Cas goes off to find the Band Manager. The Band Manager is a simple, sociable man, who hired Cas through a friend. He was talking with Alejandra and Frank (Production Manager) at the left end of the cafeteria when he saw Castiel. "Hey! You got my message." Castiel was nervous walking up to Michael, he was highly talked of in the music business and this was a big job after all so being requested after the Load-Off was concerning to him. Michael cast him aside, a drink in his hand, the other on Cas' shoulder. "Listen, I liked your performance tonight! I noticed that bass problem and how promptly you solved it, I think this is great for Dean and takes a great load off him. He hasn't gone home for a while and family means a lot to him so I wanted to hire someone soon long-term to be able to help him on the road, do you think you can handle that?" Castiel couldn't believe what was being asked of him. Of course he could handle it, this was his dream for so long, ever since he got his first gig after his father left him. "I want nothing more." "Great! We'll keep you working with Dean for a couple more shows and then I'll send him home for a few days so you'll take over the whole station for two shows. Dean won't like it so let me be the one to tell him." Castiel complied, feeling festive, and went back to find Dean, still with Penny and Kevin (whom Dean had told him about). Recognizing the grin on his face, Penny greeted "Hi chuckles! What are we celebrating?" grabbing a whiskey bottle. "I'm staying on tour!"
Notes:
Okay so here is the first chapter! I made this one as a way to introduce the reader to Dean's (alternate) world and how he's living in this story, and I thought I'd make him meet Cas in this one so it wouldn't be too technical or boring for you guys. I hope the language used is accessible for everyone, if there's something you missed I'll be glad to explain what things are in the comments. I don't write much and I'm also not a native English speaker but I had this idea in my head and really wanted to try it out. If no one reads it at least it's taking my mind off things, but if you do read it I hope you enjoyed it <3

Rhythm Suggestions For Identifying Music Genres By Ear
But, as our chat reveals, the discordant tale would not finish there: the naturally proficient Neelix attended his first doof little more than a decade ago, confesses to be in poor health at ease in the studio, and plans to produce pop music in the close to future. Though he died tragically at the age of 33, Sam Cooke left a tremendous legacy from his few years as a prime pop and soul performer. Many give credit to Cooke for being a pioneer and founder of what turned referred to as soul music when he moved from the gospel world to give attention to common music. Sam Cooke was additionally a pioneer amongst black performers on the enterprise end of music. He fashioned his own record label and music publishing company. He additionally turned a music chief within the American civil rights movement, lending it one in every of his most stirring songs, "A Change Is Gonna Come," as an anthem. A lot is made of the Blur vs Oasis rivalry that ran all through the height of Britpop and it is certainly true that they were two of a very powerful bands of the last decade. Blur's spectacular again catalogue boasts a wealth of indelibly British songwriting with a few of the wittiest lyrics of the Nineteen Nineties, and in addition among the easiest (see Tender). Damon Albarn would go on to create music with Gorillaz and pursue plenty of other intriguing projects, but the true star of the present was Graham Coxon, who stays one of the criminally underrated British guitarists of the 20th century. Banda is a blend of almost all the genres of the Mexican music, like the corridos, boleros, baladas, cumbias, rancheras, and in addition rock and pop. Banda is basically a big brass-primarily based type of music that mainly relies on percussion. It originated in the Sinaloa state of Mexico. Round 10 to 20 people are current in a band. The American band was banned for a very long time in Australia, in 1996 the country stopped the sale of any Cannibal Corpse recordings and all copies needed to be stripped from music stores. The ban lasted ten years till it was lifted in 2006. The Baroque interval is characterized by strict musical varieties and extremely decorative works. Baroque music started in Europe around 1600. It continued until 1750. As smart as this interactive is, it can also inform us about how genres relate and do not relate to at least one one other. The map is ostensibly organized in order that extra mechanical genres are at the high and more natural ones on the backside, dense music on the left and delicate, bouncy music on the fitting. It's generally difficult to tell apart between genre and form , however they aren't the identical factor. Form refers back to the structure of the music on the page, whereas style relies on the performing forces ( voices and instruments ), the purpose or perform of the piece (dance, hymn, opera, and so on.), the fashion used, and even the cultural or historic context of the work. Now, you know, when you think about that jazz is great American music, it has been 4 or 5 decades, I feel 1963, since jazz won file of the 12 months for Grammy presentation. I mean, that is astonishing to me. So perhaps there is a beacon of light now that has been shined upon us to maybe make individuals look a little bit more deeply into what artwork is absolutely about. What it means. And I'm so joyful that Herbie gained this report as a result of it was the one jazz document nominated for report of the yr. Digital will get a foul rap as a result of most individuals do not yet perceive it. Its one of the latest types of music with so many alternative subgenres with so many variations of its utilization that its completely mind boggling. My personal belief is that there's a subgenre of Electronic music for everybody even those that claim to hate it. I hope someday that Digital music joins the annals of the most effective music varieties of all time as I personally believe it is the longer term. If you actually wish to know the distinction between minor music genres, you will want to get some listening training in drum grooves, as nearly all of the time the drums will provide you with the most important and most blatant trace as to what the genre is. It also helps to get a way of widespread music history, as most genre distinctions only make sense within the context of their previous genres and the genres with which they're interacting contemporaneously. Earlier than we look at the findings, it is important to notice that the way that such data is gathered influences the consequence. The type of songs popular on streaming websites like Spotify aren't necessarily the varieties of songs common on the radio. To get essentially the most widely representative outcomes, we'll be taking a look at each the top genres in terms of dwell performances and the most well-liked musicians in response to Pandora 2017 streaming numbers Lastly, to give you a style of the music each state has individually produced we'll have a look at the preferred bands which have come from every state A handful of artists from major metropolitan areas may dominate the top of the charts at any given moment, but that does not mean that each and every state hasn't contributed their own unique artists to America's musical tapestry.

Evaluating the confusion matrix in table 10 and the confusion matrix for http://www.audio-transcoder.com the quadratic Bayesian classifier using PCA in table 5 , it is fascinating to note that: within the former, cluster 1 accommodates appreciable artwork works from the 4 genres (25 from blues, 32 from bossa nova, 46 from reggae and 30 from rock), in a total of 133 artwork works; within the latter, a substantial number of artwork works from blues (22), bossa nova (23) and rock (31) were misclassified as reggae, in a complete of 146 art works belonging to this class. Which means the PCA illustration was not efficient in discriminating reggae from the opposite genres, while cluster 1 was the one that almost all intermixed artwork works from all lessons. 1971 song Hocus Pocus was excessive in the charts in numerous international locations. It was carried out by Dutch progressive rock band Focus, made up of performers from the pit band for the Dutch production of the rock musical Hair. three) non-musical sound is composed of unstructured noises (we call it noise). When was the final time Brittney Spears or Madonna gave you a free album online? 50 Cent helped to revolutionize the music biz by dropping free mixtapes, and ever since, hip-hop followers have gotten some actual classics and by no means needed to pay a dime. Tasks like Drake' s So Far Gone and Wiz Khalifa's Kush and Orange Juice had been literal presents. In truth, I see intonation as a kind of inverse of rhythm. For classical musicians it's a topic of years of true obsession, and like rhythm in jazz, classical musicians view intonation as a grid. You could consider jazz musicians, conversely, as having a more expressive method to intonation. It's not essentially even acutely aware, but with saxophone gamers specifically a sort of idiosyncratic intonation can change into an identifiable feature. I've seen classical musicians listen to Coltrane from his quartet period, for instance, and truly burst out laughing on the intonation. However as any Coltrane aficionado with some technical understanding would agree, that sharp, nearly pinched quality in the excessive register is an integral a part of the surging angst of the Coltrane sound.

Locked up
ALL THE CHARACTERS BELONG TO @brueklynn I OWN NOTHING. U think the title is deep but it isnt, btw Friendship is hard with these two so u wont enjoy XD
It was a typical morning, it was a growing patches of blue, the sort of hue that is soft and bright at the same time. Though beneath the sheet of cloud is a grey that deepens to steel, the leading edge is a brilliant white, as if it is the pages of a new book ready for any curious eye. Blondie, henry and samuel were the first visitor for the studio, each going to his own office and start his work, samuel went to the empty recording room. He felt something was out place, something is missing, he didnt catch what is it, he looked around trying to recall and count the musical instruments, now he figured it out, his piano is missing!! Where is it?! At the same moment he heard a voice of something rubbing againist the floor, he turned around and saw someone pushing his lost piano inside the room, only to reveal mike, that made samuel angry. "Would you like to explain why was that piano with you?" "What do you think the reason?!" "I dont know!! You trying to pull some sort of a joke!!" "What?! No! I didnt pull a prank! Even if I did I dont pull it out like this!!" "You know just- lets get back to work queitly without breaking another banjo please." "Jeez samuel, I wont! Why are you so negative about everyone?!" "Did you see me be negative around someone who doesnt break an instrument every two days?! Eventually your whole month payment will be wasted!!" "Oh really!!" The echo of the forcefully slammed door pervading through the place, it was the time for the two musicians daily argument, they never argued with their fists but their words packed a powerful punches. After a few minutes the shouting match was over, both still filled irritation, mike wanted to end this and go to another room. But when he turned down handle, the door didnt open...he tried again and again, no use. He tried closing all his fingers around the handle to twist it with his bare hands using all his arms muscles, it was all in vain. The door stood stubbornly in its place. They both knew what did that mean.
They are both trapped alone in this room together.
Samuel mind didnt process the idea, out of all the people who could be locked up with him, its mike?!? His enemy! Seriously?! And the same thing could have been said for the banjoist. "What have you done!!" "Me? The doorknob was already broken!!" "Whats going on there?!" They both stopped another fight when they heard a voice talking from the outside, finally someone is their to end the proplem. "Murphy! We are locked in here! Please bring something and open this door QUICKLY!!!" "The door wont open?! Mmmmm, I think I can fix this proplem but...it may take a little time to find the tool I need." "What?! Murph please bring it now and hurry up!" "Ok Ok, its just a broken door, that wont disturb you from your jobs, you can just go back to working while I search ok?" "No please murphy!! dont leave me here!!-" Too late because murphy had already left them, they knew from the sound of the running footsteps. Both the mad men looked at each other, with a look that could be described by one word, disgust.
Another few minutes had passed and murphy still didnt come back, for some reason, each one of the two was sitting on a corner, knees to chest, arms crossed and backs facing each other, refusing to take any glimpse at the other face, anger may be turned inside to themselves as the attraction dissonance increases, hate spreading throughout their entire system, shutting down all other feelings, becoming central to the situation, they hoped this nightmare would end soon at any second. "I hate you!" "I dont care mike! Dont even speak to me!" "Then dont even look at me!" "Then why are you looking at me!" "I am not! And thats mean you are still looking at md! I said dont even take a peek at me birdie!" "Stop calling me that name!" "Well stop yelling at me!!" "You dont even make any sense!!" "Can any sense be seen by those glasses!" "These glasses are WAY better than your messy hair summerson!" " Oh please! How can ANYONE dislike this flowing gleaming hair~" "Stop acting like some Ľoréal paris commercials and Shut up!!" "And what if I dont shut up?" "OH Y-" They both stopped fighting when a sound of some tiny broken metallic chunks fell from under the piano, hitting the ground in a very low voice. "Oopsie...." mike whispered under his breath, that wasnt supposed to happen....."I KNEW It!! I Knew That You Were Up To Something When You Toke The Piano With You!!" "Sam wait!! I wil-" "What And How Much Damage Did You Cause Michael?! And WHY Did You Do That To My Piano?! You Want Me To Suffer More Through This Glum Job?! What Else You Have Inside That Head?!" "You Got It All Wrong! Why Dont You Try That Piano First Before Talking!" "Oh Really!! WHY? You Want To Try And Prove My 'Bad Skills' At Pressing Those Keys And Tell Me I Dont Have Much proficiency In Music And Songs?!" "No! You Have Such A Versatility in The piano!!" "OH YA-..............Wait What??!?" "I Said-......." Both mike and samuel had a full minute of silence, staring at each other in disbelief, their minds trying to process what did mike just say, is that really true? Did mike just said his first nice words? If that was true...a shudder will run through samuel, it was like mike came to know the depths of his humanity. "Did You Just say I have versatility in the piano?!" "No!!" No matter how much mike will try to deny it, samuel had already heard the sentence. "Of..Ofcourse I will have much versatility on the piano!!" "You dont!" "But you just admitted it!!" "That...That slipped out accidently!" "Well it was something that was floating in your mind then."
They both stood still when they heard some noises from outside the room, the door was shaking slightly until finally, someone opened it, it was murphy who found his tool and unlocked the door, finding an exit for both, everything was over. "Im glad you didnt kill each other while I was gone." Mike gave samuel an unsure look and walked past him, leaving him alone in the recording room to do his work.
Samuel still remembers when mike told him to give the piano a try. Azure blue eyes scaning it, he did notice it feels a little more different thean before, its shiny, pitch black, row of pure ivory keys, They shimmer in the recording room light as if they are the moon on a starry night, Everything was still there but more cleaner. He sat down to check preparing to check if it will work properly, swift fingers shifting from here and there, the sound the keys created was great, the music he sang went with the beat, stirs wonders in his soul. No harm was caused by mike, It was same piano he always function on. After he finished, he sensed the inner peace. Yesterday night was being reminded, oh how he had a hard with the notes because the piano wasnt working right, didnt give him the desired results needed. He took another glance at the piano, he noticed that on the side curling golden letters spell "Samuel" such a beautiful and elegant name. because its his. When he toke a break he left the recording room walking in the halls, he saw someone from away sitting and fixing something, it was mike focusing on reading the instructions paper of how to fix a banjo strings, next to it another one related to the piano.
Maybe that lock up wasnt the worst thing he experienced.
