warnings: fluff galoreeeeee word count: 1067 a/n: hi friends! it's finally here. i've never actually been to disneyland so there's probably some inaccuracies there. this is short but i promise the next part will be everything y'all are wishing for hehe. otherwise this was really fun to write, and i hope you enjoy it! reblogs and feedback about my work is deeply appreciated. <3

when jack suggested going to disneyland, you laughed and agreed to go thinking it would never happen - that it was just quick infatuation and that you'd never see him again. boy, were you wrong.

he had found and followed you on all of your public social media accounts and even posted about your interview on instagram. his blank stare and painfully obvious crush on you quickly became a meme in the avatar fandom. it never really sunk in for you until you got a dm from the rising star himself.

in the brief conversation you had with him after the interview, he managed to get enough information about you that he needed - except your phone number. he internally cursed himself for that, and spent the rest of his day trying to search for you on every platform he could. most of the younger cast laughed at him for his vigorous search for the screen rant babe, but bailey and trinity being the absolute sweethearts they are were more than happy to help him.

it took you by mighty surprise when the notification of his message request lit up your phone. almost choked on your cereal, in fact.

oh my god. he was serious. you replied as quickly as you could, giving him your number and telling him that you were definitely still on for your disneyland date. you were leaving for london in less than two days, and the way he was planning made it sound like you were going to be slaves to the mouse for a lot more time than you had. park hoppers, all of the rides, the ultimate experience. jack champion, full time disney fanboy. 

his name and the selfie you took together at the interview lit up your screen. he was CALLING YOU. most likely to thoroughly discuss said plans, but it still caught you by surprise. he was so direct, so focused on you. cute, chivalrous, quick on his feet, full of surprises. what more could you want in a man?

you picked up the phone in a giddy panic, barely managing to let out a garbled greeting. his heavenly laugh echoed through the other side, returning your greeting. it didn’t take him long before he immediately launched into your full disneyland itinerary. “so i was thinking i could come get you around 7ish so we can get there early and beat the opening rush-” “7 in the morning? you’re crazy!” you giggled, swiftly apologizing for interrupting him. he was really crazy.  crazy for you, that is. 

eventually you managed to figure out what you were going to do at the parks the next day. there were a couple rides you specifically wanted to go on, and he made sure to get fastpasses.  “i’m really excited to see you tomorrow,” he said softly, as if he was cautiously trying to navigate unsteady waters. “i’m really excited to see you too, jack. it’s going to be so fun!”  you should’ve seen the smile he cracked when you returned his excitement.

he showed up to your hotel with a giddy grin on his face at 7 the next morning. he was clearly well rested and ready for the day, whilst you had been awake the entire night trying to figure out if this was a dream. and here he was, getting out of his car to come around and open your door for you. he was the definition of chivalry, and it made your heart almost burst.  once you were settled in his car and you were on your way, he kept taking small glances of you. “did you wanna stop anywhere before we head to the park?” he inquired. “do they allow outside drinks? because i am dying for coffee right now.” “when my liege asks for coffee, we shall get them their coffee."

after a quick dunkin run and trying to figure out the maze that is the disneyland parking system, you both finally made it into the park. “so, what should we do first?” he inquired.  “i need to get a pair of ears before we can do anything else,” you replied, frantically looking for a gift shop. he chuckled before realizing that you were moving too fast for him to keep up in the swarm of other guests at the park. without thinking, he grabbed your coffee-free hand. it was electrifying, like an entire city without power had just lit up. you gave him a warm smile as you kept walking, giving his hand a good squeeze. he returned your smile, thankful that he hadn’t cursed this date with his awkwardness. you thought it was charming, his obliviousness in certain situations. 

when you finally found a gift shop with a wall of ears, you were overjoyed. so many options, so little time. you asked him his opinion of certain ears, like if they looked good on you or if they suited you. he always said yes. you looked beautiful to him.  when you finally picked out a pair of ears inspired by the scarlet witch, you encouraged him to get a vision pair to match with you. he happily obliged. “weren’t you in avengers endgame?” “for maybe 10 seconds, i didn’t even speak,” “still an oscar worthy performance, and you met paul rudd!”

the small gift shop was filled with your joint laughter. he put his vision inspired ears on his head, and quickly pulled out his phone. there was a small mirror by the wall of ears, and he pulled you close to it so he could take a picture of you both with your matching ears. a bright smile and a quick snap later, he told you that would be his new wallpaper.  “so, now that you’ve got your ears, should we hit up avenger’s campus first?” “hell yeah, i really want one of those big iron man hand drink things…” you had grabbed his hand without question as you left the shop and had thrown your now empty coffee cup away. it felt right, holding his hand. like it was perfectly molded to yours. “and churros! we need to get churros.” it was going to be a good day.

It honestly baffles me that some people here apparently seem to have that little knowledge/interest in the Reich's history, like isn't this being a history "fandom" literally the entire point of it?? Like, I totally get it if people want to focus more on particular subsections or figures that interest them the most in their research or in what they post, I do that too, and it's totally okay not to be equally knowledgeable on everything - even actual studied historians have their specialisations, after all - but like ... I think a little bit beyond the most basic knowledge of general Third Reich history should be expected (I say "beyond" because I think the most basic of its history is something that actually everyone should be familiar with regardless of how much it interests you, like that's literally stuff you're supposed to learn in school). And if you don't know something that's not a shame, but take it as an opportunity to educate yourself further? Like, go watch a ww2 documentary or read a book or go on wikipedia - isn't learning new facts and finding out things you didn't know before what makes history research fun? (I don't know though, maybe that's just me because I probably spent wayyy too much time reading the most random wikipedia articles because something sparked my interest and I clicked on one link and then the next and then the next ...)

I honestly kind of get being tired of it, though I personally do not plan to leave the fandom anytime soon, but I also have zero interest getting involved in all the drama (hence I'm also writing this on anon). I'm just planning to stay in my own little corner and focus more on creating educational posts for the future. That being said I take absolutely no issue with the occasional shitpost or meme or jokingly "gushing" (for a lack of a better word) about our historical "favourites", I post those too especially when I don't have the energy for anything more elaborate, but recently I've been kind of missing the educational aspects a bit? By no means I'm expecting everyone to suddenly just post fully researched and cited essays or to write their master's thesis into a tumblr post. But an educational post can even be something more simple, for example a specific historical photo that you find interesting, maybe with a short description about the time, place, context it was taken in. <- This is meant more as an encouragement than a criticism for everyone reading this by the way (and I'm thankful that I'm already seeing these kinds of posts too), because isn't that also where the fun in it lies (if that's somehow appropriate to say it) , exchanging interesting material and info and anecdotes about our favourite historical figures with people who share our interests?

Anyway, I probably trailed off a bit. I hope this wasn't too bothersome, I wasn't sure if I should even say anything about this whole situation. However I thought if I'm already speaking on it, it probably reaches more people through your ask box than if I post it on my own account.

I used to make shitpost content as well but I gradually moved away from it (at least on tumblr) because I didn’t want it to be the main focus of my account (my memes got more engagement than my educational works unfortunately). I’ve never discouraged people from making that content, I just take issue with people who make that the ONLY focus of their content.

Even if people don’t want to write themselves, they should at least engage with the educational side of the fandom (at the very least reblogging the educational content of others if you don’t want to make it yourself). There’s little to no excuse for not being educated or not spreading education in this fandom (especially because of its subject matter).

Well, I think there’s truth to some things they say, there’s just no reason for it is all. Like, discussing ones identity or size as if that’s a negative piece of them or even representative of a full person. Because like, I am fat, but I’m not made of whale blubber, nor am I this way because I’m just some ravenous glutton lmao. On top of that, it doesn’t make me undeserving to live / breathe. I’m not less than anyone else.

I’m honestly torn between their identity. Part of me imagines a man, likely on our accounts b/c he wants to get off to wlw fanfiction, which is why when he sees intersex characters he loses his shit because he’s stepping into a space that was never meant for him, and is wondering why the pieces don’t accommodate to his needs. As if the world doesn’t placate to his every whim.

I see people headcannoning the anon as a basement dweller, but I don’t. I actually think (if it is a guy) that he has his own place. Probably has a job in tech, or a similar scope, that gets him a comfortable salary — he has it all. Except he doesn’t because he has the personality of a toothpick, and probably makes any women to ever exist uncomfortable so all he has is a hand. If so, then to her I say find a different fandom, maybe Harry Potter, it’s obvi more up your alley. Because the majority of the MCU - LGBTQIA+ fandom is not interested in their radicalized (abhorrent) rhetoric. Not everyone on here reads or writes intersex, but from what I can see (and it makes me happy) is that majority rally behind and support the Trans community.

Browsing through a hard disk, I stumbled upon an old edit I did of Hogwarts castle with many Pride flags on its spires. Now I’m going to tell the story behind this picture.

Back in June 2020, after Harry Potter’s author started vomiting her anti-trans rhetoric, I found a nice picture on Instagram of Hogwarts castle from Universal Studios Park in Florida with many Pride flags photoshopped on it. The message was about Hogwarts always welcoming anyone, no matter what HP's author says. The trans flag stood out higher over the other flags to show particular support to the group that was, and sadly still is, being targeted. Since I liked it very much, I shared it here on my Tumblr blog, crediting the people who made it (as I always do whenever I share something that it is not mine).

The thing is the Lesbian flag was nowhere to be found, but I honestly didn’t notice when I posted the picture. Why the authors omitted it, I can’t tell. Probably their focus was on the Trans flag, or perhaps they just forgot. Whatever the reason, they surely had nothing against lesbians: they included the Lesbian Pride flag in other edits they made.

After I published it, the post went literally ablaze, with an incredibly large number of interactions that just kept skyrocketing by the minute (which is unusual for a blog consisting mostly of reblogs like my own). While the picture and the message were generally appreciated and understood, a lot of people were vocal about the missing Lesbian flag, accusing me of omitting it on purpose and, long story short, of being lesbophobic (no matter how I clearly specified that I merely shared and didn’t make the edit).

Out of rage and concern that some trolls might go on Instagram and harass the original creators, I impulsively deleted the post. What made me particularly angry was both the accusations of discriminating against Lesbians, whom as a Gay man myself I actually see as sisters in this heteronormative world, and the fact that none of those folks who complained had never bothered to reblog any of the important articles and petitions about LGBTQ+ rights I shared on my blog. A missing flag in an edit I shared caused much uproar, but LGBTQ+ people (including Lesbians) being persecuted and killed was treated as an inconsequential matter here. And this is the issue with many toxic tumblrinx, who see themselves as experts and activists of LGBTQ+ rights, when all they do is shipping same-sex fictional characters, prioritizing them over actual LGBTQ+ people.

Someone commented that I shouldn't use the “big tags” (I guess they were referring to #transphobia and #trans rights), for “this crap.” Well, whenever I used the big tags for really important matters, this person never showed up; I know because those posts usually get three reblogs at best.

There were even people who took the time to make memes about the missing Lesbian flag. Again, they had time for this, but they could never spend a few seconds to reblog important posts I shared. But also: they opened Photoshop to make those memes, but none of them thought about using it to add the missing flag.

I suspect that maybe not all but certainly some of those people who stirred such a shitstorm were transphobes, who tried to shift the concern on transphobia to something else.

The specific Gay/Vincian flag was also missing in the picture: since I am a Gay man myself, was I self-discriminating?

So, after I took down the picture, I made an edit of my own with my limited Photoshop skills. Not only I added the Lesbian flag, I added even more Pride flags that were absent in the edit that caused so much controversy. Of course, not every existing Pride flags as that would be impossible, especially considering that more and more orientations and gender identites are costantly identified (mind you, I said “identified” not “invented”). But of course, all of them are valid and identified in the Rainbow Pride flag and its variants.

At the time I didn't post this edit of mine, because right after finishing it, I believed that Tumblr simply wasn't worth it, given what had recently happened. And if I believed that it was possible to separate the art from the artist then, I'm not exactly sure about it anymore in Harry Potter's case. I think that the whole series is tainted by the author's hateful views, and that just keeping it relevant, even without buying official merch, will still fill the author's pocket. However, to give some sort of closure to this matter, here it is:

Okay, ah, this is dumb, but about the goncharov thing and the post you just reblogged on your other blog (I don’t know if tumblr is being broken or if you have asks turned off rn but I couldn’t send this there, I’m v sorry about this) but… I’ve cried and had a massive panic attack because nobody would tell me if a bug I was seeing actually existed or not. When you don’t trust your own perceptions of reality and depend on other people to tell you if what you’re seeing or hearing or whatever is real, then yeah, something like goncharov can be really scary. And obviously I can’t say for other people, but for my experience with this whole thing:

I really didn’t care about goncharov. I saw posts about it being fake before I’d even heard of it. Found it kind of funny. But if I’d come across it in a different mood, where I was having a bout of whatever-you-want-to-call-it, like I said I’ve cried over insects. Panic isn’t logical. I encountered goncharov when I was feeling fine, but if I had come across it in a situation where I was already doubting my perceptions, and I’d decided to look into it and been unable to find anything and have people telling me relentlessly it was real… my heart starts pounding and I start tearing up just thinking about that situation, honestly? I can see it messing me up really bad for days, if I’d come across it while already doubting myself and unable to think logically and realize that if tumblr is insisting something is real but the rest of the internet isn’t, it’s probably not true. So yeah. That’s my take, and it’s honestly a little hurtful that people would think nobody would care about being lied to about something small. In my mind, if I can’t trust someone to tell me if something so silly or small is real, then how can I trust them about something important? And if I can’t trust what I see and I can’t trust anyone else either… that’s really, really, really terrifying.

In all seriousness, I do understand that you can't exactly just block or unfollow people when a meme is so big it's taking over your ENTIRE dash. So I do support making it blockable with tags. (I know the post didn't say that but I often reblog things when I only agree with them in part.)

But the other thing is, we're not exactly keeping a tight lid on this thing. If you ask anyone, they'll tell you it's fake. We all just want other people to get in on it.

Trust me I understand what you're saying, because I do believe that purposely intentionally deceiving someone about something they cannot disprove (that is, LITERAL gaslighting) is a form of psychological torture.

But the fact that this is a meme is no secret. And if the influx of untagged posts gets to be upsetting for any reason, (being pulled around by reading a post then realizing it's fake. could be annoying) the x button is right there. If you're in a very delicate emotional state, it's a good idea to close the internet browser. I've had to do it myself.

Any opinions on Fuyumi? I want to like her but... she just keeps pushing for "being a nice family" and I dunno, it seems like she's always invalidating her brothers feelings/experinces?

Fuyumi’s an interesting character to me. I always felt that her “being a nice family” mindset was her dealing with her trauma in her own way. Whereas Dabi, Shoto, and Natsuo react to Endeavor with anger and Rei reacts with fear, Fuyumi reacts with a sort of desperation that feels realistic to me. She wants to keep her family together but doesn’t have a healthy mindset as to what that means. She’s the type that thinks that if everyone talks things out, everything will be resolved and she can have a normal life she was unfairly robbed of. Problem is that Endeavor was an abuser, no matter what you think of him, and the best way to deal with an abuser is to leave them. Fuyumi however seems to feel that Endeavor is necessary to help live out her ideal family as he is her father, which shows an unhealthy sense of reality yet one that a lot of abuse victims who never receive proper help develop. It’s also interesting when you realize that she’s seen as the nurturing one and is a teacher. Hori probably didn’t think this far when writing her, but Fuyumi being an elementary school teacher could be her wanting to care for a family of her own in some way and/or living vicariously through the kids, as none of the Todoroki children had childhoods to begin with.

Her ideals however clash with that of her three brothers, her desperation to keep her family together and rebuild it going against Natsuo and Shoto’s desires to simply leave Endeavor behind and have nothing to do with him (and Dabi trying to kill Endeavor, but she didn’t even know he was alive until recently). To me, it’s pretty realistic as to how an abused family will sometimes clash with one another.

The problem I have with Fuyumi though is a problem I have with MHA as a whole and that’s the fact Hori never really dives deep into any of this. He sets up such themes and introduces characters integral to these themes, but we hardly get any insight into the Todoroki siblings’ mindsets with the arguable exceptions of Shoto and Dabi, so we barely see this side of Fuyumi and are left with some surface level stuff that makes it seem like she’s being selfish at times “just cuz” when it’s far more than that. It’s a problem with a lot of things in MHA. Now I’m not expecting masterful writing here, but if you’re going to introduce such themes and advertise them as integral to the story you’re trying to tell, I expect to see them being handled with at least some care. Instead everything’s so lackluster to the point where it feels like it’s offensive at times. Just look at Izuku’s relationship with Katsuki. The bullying is never addressed nor is Izuku allowed to feel anything about it except for blind admiration for Katsuki.

In conclusion, Fuyumi’s a complicated and interesting character that Hori once again fails to explore thoroughly and with the care needed to explore such a character. Under a better writer she’s the kind of character that would really flourish but what we got was missed potential, like with the majority of MHA.

My #1 post of 2022

bruh please get into why you don't like shota I'm genuinely interested 🙏

Reasons why I don’t like Shota:

- Is easily the worst teacher in MHA: we never actually see him do his job. Every time we see him in a school setting, he’s either asleep or he pawns off his work to other teachers. He doesn’t give his students any advice except “do better” and he’s shown to be willing to drop students on THE FIRST FUCKING DAY OF CLASSES if they don’t suddenly improve. Izuku’s the biggest example of this. If Shota was good at his damn job, he’d read about his students ahead of time and learned that Izuku only had his quirk for a few months so it’s obvious that he won’t know how to use it properly. A real teacher would see this and offer aid, only expelling Izuku if he shows absolutely no improvements after a month or two. He managed to pass the entrance exam which means he’s more than worthy of being given a chance compared to the Gen-Ed students who failed to get into the hero course (looking at you Hitoshi). Meanwhile, Katsuki attacks Izuku on the first day and even sabotages his score yet Mr. “Logical” here doesn’t expel him. Adding to this, when Katsuki nearly kills Izuku, all he tells him is to “grow up”. These instances show him as outright neglectful and lazy. It gets even worse when you realize that the only time he actually tried doing his job, he fucked up big time by forcing an abuse victim to work with his abuser. Oh, and don’t get me started on him using Eri to further Katsuki’s growth in one of the light novels. Shota, it’s not the responsibility of those abused to help an abuser grow. People love to rag on All Might for his teaching, but while All Might sucks at his job, he at least tries. Shota is neglectful, abusive, and just an outright asshole at this point.

- Is a mouthpiece for Katsuki: despite Katsuki being a student Shota should’ve expelled right off the bat based on what we’re told about him, he instead praises Katsuki and is used by Hori to wank him off. He tells the people rightfully booing him during the Sports Festival that he was “giving it his all” against Ochako when all he was doing is just standing there and swatting her away when he could’ve easily took her out in one or two blows. Katsuki even says that it’s “time to get serious” after Ochako’s final attack, which meant he wasn’t taking her seriously to begin with. When people rightfully question Katsuki’s behavior after his kidnapping, Shota says that “Katsuki deserves to be a hero because he tries hard”. Bruh, just because you try hard doesn’t mean you deserve shit, especially when you’ve repeatedly proven that you can’t handle the responsibilities that come with being a hero.

- Doesn’t care about the mental health or the future of his students: One of the first things he does in the series is tell Ochako that knowledge of the school’s various facilities, including the guidance counselor, isn’t important. He then proceeds to use his little “logical rouses” which all that does is make sure none of his students can trust him with anything. He singles out Izuku and calls him a liability in front of his classmates instead of taking him to the side. His little “expulsion game” is also very harmful. In Japan, grades and academic records are highly valued. Any blemish can fuck up a kid’s future. By suspending his students, he screwed them over in the long run, especially since they’re in an “elite school” like U.A. Any kid who’d rather take a different path in life is fucked because Shota suspended them on the FIRST DAY of school. And for what? Not being at the level of a sidekick or pro hero? Except for those who had to take quirk counseling due to uncontrollable quirks, none of them had formal training, so who is he to say they can’t be heroes on the first day? All they had is one day to prove themselves on some shitty fitness exam that doesn’t even test their character or willingness to learn. Shota preaches about life being unfair but he’s actively making things unfair just because he’s got a God Complex.

- Is a hypocrite: Shota hates people who spam their quirks and only rely on them, so what does he do? Takes in a kid who does exactly that as his mentee just because he reminds him of himself and of his dead friend (Hitoshi’s my third least favorite MHA character in case you were wondering). He dislikes All Might for supposedly playing favorites but he does exactly that. We actually see him training this kid over his class, said kid who hasn’t done anything to achieve his dream.

-Narrative wanks him off: Never is Shota’s actions called out. He’s never made to be in the wrong. Every character loves him and those who don’t (like his previous class) are made to be in the wrong or are made to be assholes. However, unlike Katsuki, he at least isn’t completely covered by plot armor, having lost his leg and part of his eyesight due to battles he’s taken part in.

- He dropped a FUCKING BUILDING on his students during one of the OVA’s. Enough said. Somehow he’s been more successful nearly killing his students than the villains have at killing 1-A.

At the end of the day, Shota’s an abusive, neglectful, hypocritical, and egotistical asshole with a God complex who never gets called out on his bullshit. He may be a decent hero, but that’s really not something that overrides all his shitty traits. I see what Hori was going for, but like with a lot of things, Hori misses the mark and forgets what makes characters of Shota’s archetypes work in the first place.

The Untamed Dads: A Definitive* Ranking

*I thought about this for twenty minutes and know I'm gonna get blowback. Also no one in Yi City is included because XXC and XY didn’t really give me “dad” vibes so much as “older bro” vibes. Sorry guys. 

Lan Wangji: Is he officially Sizhui’s dad or just a “primary caretaker”? I don’t care. He rocked it with the kid. He took a perfectly nice little boy and helped him grow up into a perfectly nice young adult who clearly feels supported and loved! Good job, Wangji! Edges WWX out solely by longevity. 

Wei Wuxian: Wasn’t around much for A-Yuan’s childhood, but the fact that A-Yuan looked back on being a little kid and saw so much joy and not the fact that he was in terrible circumstances means that Wei Wuxian is also objectively better than 80% of this list.  

Sect Leader Nie: Pretty much nothing is known about him, but he still manages to out-dad most of the other dads since his children don’t hate each other and most of their problems do not involve his parenting. 

Wei Changze: We see very little of him and in it he seems nice. Good job Wei Changze, by seeming sweet in one memory you are better than 70% of dads on this show.  

A-Yan’s dad: Gave his soul for his daughter. Would be higher up if we knew more about him.  

Mianmian’s husband: Has no name and shows up in one scene as a loving father. Still about at the midpoint of this list. Would also be higher up if we knew about him. 

Jin Zixuan: Clearly headed towards S-tier dadness, but sadly only got to be a dad for longer than a month. 

Sect Leader Ouyang: He made an awesome kid who’s not afraid to call him out. Therefore not a TERRIBLE dad, just a dad with terrible takes.   

Wen Ruohan: His dadness made even less of an impression on me than Sect Leader Ouyang’s. Ranked a bit lower because his kids have serious issues. May or may not be his fault. Is kinda an evil overlord.  

Jiang Fengmian: Tried. Gave his children a shitton of issues, so I’d say he failed. Badly.  

Jin Guangyao: The fact that he probably killed his child and isn’t at the bottom of this list really says something.  

Qingheng-jun: If your kids are terrified of becoming you, then congratulations, you’ve failed at parenting forever. 

Jin Guangshan: Does this even have to be said?

Hot take: Modern AU versions of Huaisang’s aesthetic usually boil down to “hot girl summer”: crop tops, shorts, wild clothes, etc. Shouldn’t he be “dark academia” instead? 

Look at what he usually wears in-canon. There’s no one more wrapped up than he is! You tell me that Modern AU Huaisang would not be into sweaters and jackets and horn-rimmed glasses and know how to accessorize like the best of them.

Sooo... like, we’ve all seen the subtle foreshadowing that Luz might be possessed by the Collector soon, but as we’ve seen in the latest episodes, it’s King who has an established connection with the Collector, which gave me a horrible thought:

What if KING is the intended target of the Collector’s possession, and it’s going to result in Luz sacrificing herself by either striking a bargain with them OR like, dramatically intervening ala ‘throwing themselves in front of a bullet’ trope to somehow transfer the connection/possession to HER instead of King?? 

Because I don’t think my heart could take that.

Quick ROTTMNT Review

Oh god... the tears running down my face are so real. I need to watch the movie a few more times to properly process everything, but here’s what I can get out right now. 

I just knew there would be some fresh Leo/Raph conflict for this movie, but I didn’t know how it would be handled. I was hoping for some nice support/angst combo and they freakin’ DELIVERED. And in a way I totally didn’t expect.

The tone was consistent with the show yet somehow managed to pull off the tears and angst SO WELL. 

My biggest fear from the initial trailers was how Foot Recruit/Cassandra was going to be handled. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER: It was addressed, and it made me laugh. We’re good.

Okay like... it almost feels redundant to talk about the animation? But I will a bit anyway. It was FIRE. It was BOSS. It was EPIC. It was everything you could possibly hope, want, expect, and more. It stayed Movie Quality the entire time. 

Probably my biggest critique is while yes, Leo and Raph were intended to have a role reversal, something shown in the show was how while Raph was always doing and trying his best as leader, he wasn’t a very good strategist nine times out of ten? And while Leo was more laid back and lazy he WAS in fact a very good strategist when he set his mind to it. This movie seems to reverse that...? Leo was VERY ‘fly by the seat of his pants’ and Raph put in the effort to make actual plans. BUT I suppose this could be attributed to a more literal role reversal. Leo decides ‘now that i’m leader whatever i do is FINE i guess’ and Raph has to overcompensate like he does in Pizza Puffs. It would have been nice to see this addressed properly BUT it didn’t ruin my emersion.

All in all, I loved this movie with my whole heart. Thank-you so much to the cast and crew for giving us this gift. I hope my tears fuel your next endeavors.

because it has nothing to do with wille being a Prince and everything to do with it just being wille. like we know for a fact that simon could not give less of a shit about wille being Kron Prince Wilhelm and it’s everything to do with the fact that he’s Wille. like if marcus thought the reason he didn’t compare to wille was because he wasn’t a Prince, he clearly didn’t know simon very well. like Marcus didn’t really stand a chance whether wille was a Prince or not

anyways, i just thought that little line was so interesting

everybody come with me on this

i don’t have the physical evidence of this BUT i noticed something about certain simon/wilmon scenes this season that added a different meaning regarding costuming (also i have no idea if someone else has already noticed/mentioned this, but if you have i am sorry)

i wish i could provide the evidence but for now you’ll just have to trust me and go back and rewatch s2 hahah and it’ll probably get a bit long so i’m sorry about that

as we know, the costume department had simon wearing purple in scenes where simon’s feelings for wille were growing, while orange kind of represented when they felt further away but but but

there were multiple scenes this season where simon was wearing orange OVER something purple (and there were a few scenes where he was noticeably wearing purple) which was super interesting for me

the most notable one was when simon goes to marcus’ to hook up with him that first time. he’s wearing orange but you can see a hint of a purple shirt under it which could represent how even though simon is trying to move on with marcus (the orange) his love for wille will always be an undercurrent in their relationship/scenes together (the purple)

another one i can think of is when first assigned they’re book and wille is talking to simon about marcus and simon admits that they’re hanging out but not together. yet again he’s wearing a hint of purple underneath something orange which hints at the fact that he’s feeling conflicted because he still loves wille but he feels super far away from him

another scene is when wille is thought to be leaving hillerska. the scene where they come to take wille, simon is wearing a purple shirt over his yellow/orange one

follow this scene by when he goes to train with rosh, where he’s wearing the Purple Hoodie™️ for the first time all season and he literally says to rosh “i don’t know why i can’t fall in love with [marcus]”. the purple hoodie being a focal point in this scene is almost declaring the reason why he can’t fall in love with marcus is his love for wille

another important Purple Hoodie™️ moment this season (let it be known that i’m pretty sure he only wears that hoodie like 2 times this season) was during the iconic book project scene where they’re essentially confessing to each other through it.

ALSO the fact that maroon is shade of purple and simon was wearing his school uniform (which is kind of a redish purple) when him and wille kiss for the first time

i’m sure there’s more scenes but these were just the initial ones i noticed on my rewatch (if someone wants to somehow provide the evidence that would be so wonderful but i promise i’m not going insane) 

ANYWAYS this post was just thought up to prove that despite how fractured and far away wilmon seemed at some points throughout this season, simon was still feeling that love for wille throughout even if it wasn’t outwardly showing at times

✿ PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION: Guys, I am on discord if you’re ever interested. My instagram and twitter dms are also available. The messaging on tumblr isn’t as reliable for me because I don’t always have my Ipad on me or my laptop near me. I do tend to respond rather quickly when I have my phone on me. I’m a tad shy, but once you get me going... You’d be shocked because I do tend to get excited about talking about others characters and mine.

✿ EXPERIENCE/HOW LONG (MONTHS / YEARS?):  More like a couple weeks. A month even? I haven’t done this for long at all. I’ve been writing for years, but I have never really taken part of RP before. Oh! But I do have theatre experience. I think like five years of theatre? I was mostly a light techie, but I dabbled in acting. I learned I bounced off other people better.

✿ PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED:  For RP so far I have only used tumblr. 

✿ BEST EXPERIENCE:  Okay so, first off. I think a mini shoutout is in order because @sylvctica actually got me going and told me everything I needed to note. Hell, I was given a google doc. Which was so nice. So, I’d say getting into it I had a good time. 

But with that said, dear lord. The harem conversation had me DYING. I said one thing and suddenly a downward spiral happened. It was just so funny seeing how things went down. I just had a blast that day, I sat back and watched everything go down until I realized Isolde probably should be hiding! I don’t, I have had a great time so far despite being a shy coffee bean. 

RP is like the OC version of social media, but everyone is unhinged and living their best lives.

✿ RP PET PEEVES/DEALBREAKERS:  I haven’t experienced much to say I have a pet peeve. But the one thing I will say is when I check out a profile and they say to read their rules, they don’t have a link anywhere prominent and you have to dig through posts. If I don’t see them, it’s kind of a deal breaker for me.  

✿ FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT:   I am cool with fluff, suggestive even. I am good with angst too. I’ll write a whole range of emotions. But... I. WILL. NOT. WRITE. SMUT. I have no issue seeing it. I just don’t like writing it. (sometimes people are really good at it though, like damn) 

✿ PLOTS OR MEMES:  Honestly, I am cool with both. I have not really had a chance to plot with anyone yet, but I am always open to it. You can always message me and I’ll get back to you. You can also as for my discord if you want it. I have grown to really enjoy meme-ing the shit out of my characters lately. I do enjoy both very much. 

✿ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I can do both. As of the moment I’ve only been doing shorter responses. I have not gotten a chance to write longer posts with people. If you want to do that, just let me know and understand the longer ones will take a bit of time for me to get out.  

✿ BEST TIME TO WRITE:  Any time inspiration hits me. Most the time that inspiration comes during the middle of the night. There I am, at my laptop, typing away because I got an idea I didn’t want to forget in the morning. Right now it’s 7am when I am making this. It’s just whenever for me. Hell, I put off my school work in the middle of the afternoon yesterday to polish up a headcanon I wanna post soon.  

✿ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): I always seem to have a tiny bit of me in most my characters. In this sense, I would say the few things I share with me character are patience, asexual, and my love for warm beverages. Oh wait, and the fact that for the first time ever, I have a character that dislikes alcohol. It’s just some tiny things.

one. due to the nature of my roleplaying style, there will absolutely be mature (please keep reading to know what this means) themes here and there on this blog. i’d like to stress that i will not usually be comfortable roleplaying with muns that are under the age of eighteen (18) so please understand my confidence / comfort-ability is all based on how i feel around the mun. as this character is underage canonly, there will be no smut writing on this blog. any NSFW content will be only gore/horror related, not smut related. the mun is FAR over the age of 21 (i just turned 31) and just isn't comfortable writing that sort of thing with a character who is originally the age of 12/13, even if aged up. ya nasties. stop sexualizing children.

two. this is a selective/private blog. i really only roleplay with mutuals, however you’re more than welcome to reply to any of my open starters if i specify that you can but just know i might not reply because i (1) don’t know your muse, (2) have zero muse for the reply and will get to it later, (3) have no interest in the thread, or (4) am uncomfortable with something on your blog. roleplaying is also a hobby for me. i work full time and sometimes i genuinely cannot reply fast. if you hassle me to reply to things, i will not want to roleplay with you and it will turn me off from roleplaying with you completely. in fact, if you harrass me to reply to threads, i will automatically unfollow you because i’m not about that life of being pushed to reply to things. if you spam my follow button to try and get my attention, that will result in a soft block on your behalf. please don’t test my patience. if you do not have your ooc name on your page i will not follow you, due to me thinking hiding your ooc alias is shady and sketchy af.

three. i love shipping and i love roleplaying so much. this is not a single ship blog and none of the ships i portray are at the same time (unless further discussed with muns, of course). my muse is a free for all but only if chemistry. if i do have mains, which will be listed, they are just the people i will reply to the most, however, i won't actually limit myself to only roleplaying with them and i hope my mains respect and are comfortable with that.

four. tagging triggers is something that means a lot to me as i am not comfortable with needles or puppets on my dashboard so i blacklist needles tw and puppets tw. i know it’s weird but hey, we all have our things. please let me know if you need anything tagged- even if i don’t personally follow you. you deserve a clean and safe dashboard to roleplay in. warning.

five. anon hate will be deleted on the spot. no exceptions. i don’t care about your petty feelings and i won’t tolerate them in the slightest. i’m not here to entertain horrible people’s opinions of myself. constructive criticisms are allowed, but at the respect of myself reblogging a meme asking for it specifically.

six. mutuals are allowed to ask for my discord, since i tend to also roleplay on it!

seven. i very rarely will send in passwords, as i do not require it and i should not have to be tested on your blog to be allowed to roleplay with someone. usually if you have a password, i genuinely just didn’t think to look for it and i apologize if this upsets you but you probably won’t see any from me.

I’m a George stan and lived with a Max stan, probably the biggest George anti for two years. I started watching F1 because of her, and thought we will be fine, because we were good friends and drivers can’t change this fact at all. I always gave her Max merch for her birthday or when I wanted to buy something for myself etc etc

We were all good and fun but on March she moved to Netherlands and won’t be back in the future I think, I have to stay here because my family are and it’s still the best option for me. I had a serious separation anxiety disorder and started crying everyday from a week before her move out day and it lasted around two weeks? I stayed in the apartment alone and tried my best to get my shit together, but on April I was laid off from my job. At that time I had no income and had to seek for jobs and also a cheaper apartment because I couldn’t afford the current one anymore. I even had to find a therapist.

I decided to go to Miami GP to relax myself a little, and you know that’s right after the George and Max argument😅 I didn’t talk about this with my friend because I thought that’s not a big deal and ppl think they're funny, until when I was on my way to the airport to Miami I saw her using some bad words (like really bad) to talk about George then blocked two of my F1 related accounts, and she didn’t want to talk to me about this at all. At first I was angry then it became self doubting, like what if she doesn’t even like me in the first place (because her other mutuals also post George sometimes), what if I was not a good friend and good roommate for her. I know I’m a mediocre person, acted like too needy to her, always making troubles when cooking, and she never liked my cat. My parents are divorced and will never have a happy and healthy family like hers. My friends said it’s not worth it because I do have other friends to hangout but it’s not that simple for me, it hurts more than when you suddenly thinking about your ex girlfriend at midnight and makes you wanna cry lmao

Then after June I am living with my friend in a new apartment and can at least earn some money, everything becomes better. At this time I started writing russtappen fic😁… At first it’s only for revenge, kind of? I know she's using AO3 as well and I do curious about her reaction when she saw it, would she read it or not. To write Max more in character, I searched a lot of contents about him (I was neutral about Max and never got to know him tbh, just followed the fellow merc fans for the anti rbr train before), found out that he’s somehow an interesting person. Then I am digging russtappen contents on tiktok and here, of course I saw all your drawing and edits, they are amazing!! <3 I still don’t think the Max that I wrote is in character, because it’s a gender reversed AU and russtappen in my fic are actually much more gentle and idealized than irl. Luckily I got more interacts than I thought, the fic is non-english but there’re ppl willing to translate it and wrote me comments, i appreciate! 

Now I think my F1 opinions may be changed compare to the time I just started watching. Of course I’m still a George stan, but i don’t even consider myself as a merc fan by how George is being treated, and I am kinda tired for the hate toward Max only because he’s fast. At least he loves his cats much much more than Alex does. While continue finishing my fic, I am actually talking to my friend again. It’s me who usually start the conversations and her responds are not enthusiastic tbh, (we don’t talk about my fic, not even our daily life, just some memes like the logan sargeant update on twitter) I don’t know if this is toxic or unhealthy for me, I just realized that maybe I don’t care about her that much anymore and don’t care about how she feels about me. And that’s the end. wOW it is long and i hope no one will finish reading this. As a conclusion I will stay away from Libras for the rest of my life because they're heartless

The dork grew up in a giant extended family who were very traditional and probably got scolded for saying darn.

Idiot (affectionate) was later on hell bent on getting revenge. So I need you tell me he sometimes didn't stay awake at when his poshy rich kid persona resurfaced out of the trauma and he had a little whatamidoingwhydididothatwhatwouldeveryonethinkofme- moment.

Heck, the only reason he was seen as the cool kid in school, was cuz it was school. we all cringe looking back at it.

Kaz and Inej, disguised as Alina’s guards, having just gotten rid of Arken who was going to betray them, having nearly died many times, knowing dang well that Jesper is sleeping with the stable boy as he was suppossed to be their get-away driver and were just about to kidnap Alina: *Side-eyes with an ‘Is This Guy Serious’ look*

Alina, blissfully ignorant of all the attempts to kill and/or kidnap her that are currently taking place, that one of her friends have been murdered, her childhood friend that she thought had given up on her is on the palace after nearly dying so many times just to talk to her, all the people around her want to use her but for different reasons and the the fact that her entire life is going to get thrown into a roller coaster in a few hours: *Taking the flowers* Thank you.

yall, sometimes i forget how much funny the darkling can be. like we don’t give him enough credit for it.

like i know he is the big bad guy who did a lot of horrible stuff but every time he makes an appearance i get all giddy to see what dramatic shit this bastard is going to do now.

like that one scene in Siege And Storm: where he personally took Alina to her cabin and through the prison and one time she tripped and he “put his hand on the small of her back to steady her and didn’t let go”. for what? just to make Mal jealous? “You’ll know when I make her scream.” (sir????????????)

and then Rule Of Wolves comes out and i actually got to read his POV and ooooh boy, i was not dissapointed.
