I think one of the best things the Ibizan Hound Club of the United States has ever done is the illustrated standard

It uses real pictures of real dogs and shows variations of conformation and style within the breed that can all be correct. It also has real examples of what isn’t desirable.

It also expands upon and goes more in depth into the official AKC standard and how it is generally agreed to be interpreted in the breed

Ibizans have some really unique conformational features and the illustrated standard was so instrumental to my own learning and is such a wonderful resource to share with others trying to learn. Honestly every breed should have an illustrated standard imo

Was reading through your posts about Wukong's death flags, and I wanna link it with something I've noticed that, if the lmk writing team chooses to use in their favor, has the opportunity to be heartbreaking.

Lots of writers like working with the rule of threes, regardless of the genre. Basically bc stuff tends to be more impactful if you do it three times, with either small changes in each one, or 2 times where it's almost identical and a third that is very different.

Thus far, this has mostly (in lmk) been used for MK's development (with the development of his breakdowns), or comedy (especially with the first few episodes).

Anyway, now with season 5, there have been 2 times Wukong reaches out a hand towards Macaque, who hesitates and tries ro reach it, only for something to get in the way, (with the first one being a memory, and the second with Nine getting in the way)

I'm not saying they have to do this, bc the rule of threes is not exactly a "rule", more like a suggestion lots of writers like to take into account- but I am saying that they have the opportunity to have a third attempt to hold hands that:

1) actually works.

2) Is initiated my Macaque

Or 3) both.

And I'm also saying that, if they wanted to, they could make it be aligned with the theme of past (memory scroll one. What their relationship was once), present (Season 5 one. With the way their relationship is now, with them trying to be friends/close again despite the awful things that happened before) and future (if they were to make a third)

Bonus points if it has something to do with these death flags Wukong has been waving around like it's a competitive sport.
