Summary: you don't let your girlfriend kissing you back and it starts to get on her nerves
Type: Fluff

---------
It's been a few months now since you started doing that. You and Sarah have been dating for almost a year now, and you both couldn't be more happy. But despite all the love she felt for you, the Austrian couldn't help but be a little confused recently.
Since you were named champion of the Frauen Bundesliga last season, you developed a habit of kissing your girlfriend on the cheek and flew away before she could reciprocate it.
Today was not an exception. You walked into a very excited changing room. Everyone seemed ready for training, which meant you were the last one to leave it after you changed. On your way to the training pitch, you saw your girlfriend talking with Jovana.
You started to walk a little faster to catch them. When you reached them, you surprised the Austrian by giving her an intense kiss a few millimeters of her lips. This action made the midfielder turn crimson red while you acknowledged your fellow striker.
Sarah stayed silent—not too long to be questioned, but just enough to let you flee away before she could say anything. The Serbian's laugh brought her back to reality. "How can you still be stunned like that even if you know it will come?" She asked, making your girlfriend blush a little more.
Those types of things didn't happen just when you were alone. In fact, all the team were aware of that. Some of them even started to bet on how much you could kiss her discreetly before she protested. Spoiler alert: it happened only once, and it was after more than ten kisses.
Of course, sometimes Sarah tried to surprise you and be the one who let you stun, but unfortunately, it was like you had a sixth sense made for her because you were always aware when she tried to kiss you, like this time.
You were stretching when Kathie came to start a little conversation with you. Of course, she didn't come without ulterior motives, but she didn't know that you already knew that. While she entertained you with a chat about the next game, Sarah made her way to you, trying to be as sneaky as possible.
The older Austrian should know that you would know that she was trying something when everyone just stopped what they were doing to look at her.
Some of your teammates wanted to see Sarah succeed for once; they always helped her every time, even if they knew that you would find a way to spot her before she reached you.
The silence immediately alerted you that something was happening, and it didn't take you long to guess what when you noticed Kathie sending a quick glance behind you.
When you felt a hand on your shoulder, you turned around and lowered your body before grabbing Sarah's tights and lifting her, which obviously surprised her. You didn't wait before showering her face with a ton of pecks and kisses, making her giggle and laugh. "Okay, stop! I surrender!" She said between giggles, and you stopped instantly. She properly wrapped her arms around your neck and let you transport her to Jovana and Georgia.
"How can you always know?" The English midfielder asked you when you reached them.
"Because I know her so well." You replied, making your girlfriend pout.
"You should let her get you at least once." The striker said feeling a little bad for all of Sarah's failures.
"Uh, impossible." You said earning a shocking look from your girlfriend. "She made it a competition, and you know how much I hate to lose, even against her." You explained. "And it would not be funny if I voluntarily let her get me." You added before giving a quick peck on your girlfriend's nose before letting her go.
The rest of the training was more calm, which shocked a few people, but they didn't question it.
Not living with Sarah yet meant that you were a little shocked to see a pair of shoes in front of the door after you came back from the grocery store. "Babe?" You called her but didn't receive any response. After a stop at the kitchen, you made your way into your bedroom, where you found your girlfriend asleep on your bed in one of your national shirts from your closet.
The view made you smile. You took a picture and left a kiss on her forehead before changing your clothes and joining her.
One hour later, the Austrian midfielder woke up a little confused before she remembered what happened. She came a few hours ago to surprise you and spent the night with you, but she fell asleep while she was waiting for you. When she heard some noise next to her, she turned her head to find you deeply asleep next to her.
Your cuteness almost stopped her brain for a moment before something popped in her head. She glanced around until she spotted something on your nightstand. After finishing what she wanted to do, she let you sleep and made her way to the living room.
Less than an hour later, Sarah was cooking when she heard the door of the bedroom open and close. Then she heard the door of the bathroom open, and she already started to smile.
"Sarah Zadrazil!" You yelled from the bathroom before making your way to where you could find someone laughed. "What's the hell is that?" You asked her, referring to your cheek.
She didn't reply immediately and laughed for a few seconds, making you lose your attitude.
"Look at you, babe. You're stunning like that." She joked. You wanted to protest, but you stopped when you saw her grabbing her phone.
"What are you doing?" You asked even if you already knew.
"Stay here." She instructed before she opened the camera and took her place next to you for a selfie. She didn't let you react before she sent it to the club group chat.
"You're a child." You said trying to wipe away the lipstick trail on your cheek.
"I know, but you love me." She said, giving a quick peck on your lips. You didn't have time to reply before your phones started to blow up with notifications from the group chat.
My Queen✨: I did it! Linda: yeah finally! G💪: finally! Gwinny: wow congratulations 🎉 Jovi: we need to celebrate it Lina: i thought you were better than that Y/n/n You: i was sleeping 😭 Klara: it didn't change anything. she got you Kathie: i always believed in you Sarah Sam: i thought Y/n was better than that 😑 You: even you sammy 😭 Jill: i'm disappointed Y/n but congratulations Sarah
And it continued like that for almost an hour, making your girlfriend laugh at your low defense. After you washed your face and ate, you decided to watch a movie with your girlfriend.
"I didn't think the girls were so implied into that." You said completely cuddled against Sarah's body.
"Me too, but I'm glad that they are." The Austrian replied. "You know they will not let you live after that." She reminded you, making you grumble immediately.
"You just did it one time." You said a little offended.
"I know, but it's still a victory for me. I'm just better, but it's not a competition." She said giving you one of her brightest smiles.
"Okay, continue like that, and you sleep on the couch." You warned her even if you both knew it was an empty threat.
"Sorry, babe." She kissed you passionately. "I really, really love you. Do you know that?"
"Of course I do, and you want to know a secret? I love you the same."

category: fluff.
summary: where you and your girlfriend have to go up against each other in the euros final not knowing how either of you will react to the final result.

a/n: my first fic, it’s been a while since i last wrote anything, so, heads up i may be rusty.

Euro 2022, the summer of pure success for the lionesses. Not losing a single game in any of their runs, they were in it to win it on home soil.
Cruising through the tournament, you didn’t once stop to realise that you could face your lover in the final. The overwhelming pleasure of striking a ball in the back of the net in front of tens of thousands of people, didn’t once make you come to terms with the situation.
Of course you didn’t forget about Sydney, face timing every night, not before pushing an annoyed Georgia Stanway out into the hallway to get a private moment with her.
Every time her face popped onto the screen after a few seconds, all and every part of your conversation didn’t mention the topic of football or the pressure of getting to the designated final. Just ‘I miss you’ and ‘i love you’ s were said and the mentioning of plans for your awaiting holiday to ibiza you had booked with some of your Bayern teammates.
After winning the semi final against the swedes, with a cheeky 4-0, is only when you come to realise the possible line up for the final.
After scoring two of the goals against Sweden, you were the top candidate to do the after match press. So, in which, you were pulled away to do so after congratulating the other team on their somewhat successful tournament.
“Y/N, congratulations on securing England a place in the final of the Euro 2022 tournament on home soil. How does it feel?” The interviewer asks, eagerly holding up a microphone for you to take hold of.
“I can’t even begin to imagine, this is what me and the team have always wanted. I can’t even describe the feeling, I feel the need to win the trophy!” You gasped, trying to catch your breath and overcome the immense feeling in your chest.
“Aha, so, you winning this game has concluded us with the final of England v either Germany or France. Which team do you think will head through tomorrow and would you rather fight for the cup?”
Your heart stopped for a second, completely forgetting the countries included in the other segment.
“Erm, well… i know, for sure, that both teams have had a good run thus far. I have different opinions on both, to be fair, if i had to choose… i wouldn’t choose either but whatever comes for us we’ll attack from point forward.” You looked down while answering that question, the intensity of your mood to celebrate almost halving.
“I have 100% confidence in this lionesses squad and i definitely can tell you that we are the best chance England has to winning something, we’ll give it our all, Germany or France.” You nodded, regaining your composure.
“Thank you Y/N, and congrats again we’ll see you at wembley!” The brunette lady smiled at you, taking back the microphone she previously gave you.
“Thank you.”
With one last final smile, you hastily walked back to the changing room waving at some of the remaining fans while doing so.
“There she is, our star player of the match! What took you so long?” A slightly intoxicated Ella Toone shouted across the changing room of Bramall Lane.
You didn’t reply, simply sitting in your cubby, yanking off your boots and stripping off the sweaty gear you still had on. You blocked out the terrible singing coming from your teammates and focused on what you were doing, grabbing your wash bag and wrapping your towel around you to head to the showers.
Before you could do so, Leah had grabbed your arm.
“Is everything okay? Did the media say something?” She looked concerned, a slight frown appearing on her face.
“No, no nothing bad. Just… a bit overwhelmed is all.”
“I know it’s a lot, being so young in a massive tournament with a lot of newfound pressure… but trust me, your acing it so far. Look at where we are, the final baby!” She exclaimed with a passionate smile on her face, her eyes glistening over. You took notice to the fact that she must have been crying earlier, the visible streaks still showing.
You gave her a reassuring smile, but don’t say anything.
“Hey, it’s not just that is it? Is it about, maybe, facing Germany in the final?”
You look up at her with a slight expression that revealed the answer.
“Y/N, you don’t need to worry. Sydney will love you no matter the circumstances, besides it’s not even decided who our opponent is in the final yet.” Leah cups both your cheeks as it was obvious you hadn’t seemed to have stopped debating it. “Look, we will all watch the game tomorrow, maybe give her a call tonight explaining your concerns. That might help?”
“I don’t want to distract her with my worries though, she could become off her game tomorrow…”
“Okay, but don’t ignore her. I know what your like when your mind controls you, couldn’t get hold of you for weeks the last time that happened.”
You giggled slightly due to your pettiness, Leah let you go with a soft smile and a rub of your arm and you made your way to the small shower room.
Everything will be okay.
syd<3
you: i love you❤️.
The next day, Englands opponents were named for the final: Germany.
After beating France 2-1, the Germans appeared just as confident as the lionesses were. With their famous history of winning 8 euro championships, Germany were automatically pinned the favourites.
After watching the match in SGP’s game room, the lionesses showed no bother. None of them but one.
You were picking your nails harshly the whole time, due to feeling bad for wanting Germany to lose so you didn’t have to face Syd or even your other Bayern teammates in the final.
Seeing the smiles on their faces, especially hers as she was televised chatting to Klara and Laura in the middle of the pitch brought great dread upon you.
Leah was looking at you the entirety of the game, noticing your out of body stance. You continued like that until way after the match, that is until your phone started vibrating on your lap.
Turning it over, your lock screen was full of text messages from your girlfriend, opening them to read them.
syd<3
see you at wembley, baby.
Love you loads xx
:)
miss you xx
You stared at the messages for a while with a sleepy smile on your face, beginning to type until you were interrupted by a flick to the head.
“Come on, we’re all going to our rooms. Don’t want to be a loner now do you?” Your best friend and soon-to-be Bayern teammate, Georgia Stanway bends down to look you square in the face.
Your phone dropped to the side as you swung your arm lazily at her head, obviously missing her on purpose. She put her hand out to help you up, you allowed her to and picked up your belongings making your way to the comforts of your room.
You didn’t mean to leave her on opened.
Meanwhile, sitting on the coach to go back to the training grounds the german women’s national team were currently using, Sydney looked at the bubble appearing at the bottom of her screen, eagerly awaiting your answer.
She couldn’t wait to see you in real life again, to hold you, to kiss you. She really had missed you. Her mood dropped when that bubbled elipsis stopped moving, she thought that you’d come back and reply. Yet she was wrong.
Sydney automatically felt she had done something wrong, scratching her head to think of anything she’s said.
Maybe, Y/N isn’t happy i got through. I was happy? I replied to her message. I’m proud. Sydney’s head nearly combusted due to her overthinking, biting her nails and fiddling with her jumper.
“Hey, you okay?” She heard her all time best friend, Klara Bühl whisper next to her.
“Yeah fine.” She smiled looking at Klara quickly before flipping her phone over in her lap and looking out the window.
Obviously, Klara didn’t take the excuse. Having known each other most of their lives their friendship came with a few perks, knowing when something is wrong is one of them.
Klara can read Sydney like a book and vice versa.
“Is it Y/N?” Klara rose an eyebrow as she stared at the side of Syds face.
“No, not exactly. She hasn’t done anything wrong. Just i miss her and she didn’t reply to my messages. I’m sure it’s nothing.” Sydney gave Klara a reassuring smile, but really it was to reassure herself. “I guess it’s a bit hard to come to the terms that one of us has to break another’s heart to win what we’ve always been working hard for.”
“Mhm, i’m sure nothing too bad will happen. Will u still love Y/N if England win?”
“Of course, what kind of question is that?” A look of horror washed over Sydney’s face.
“Then you have nothing to worry about, i’m sure Y/N thinks the same.” Klara gave her a grin, “Besides, you’ll have to practice your comforting skills. We’re definitely winning this tournament.”
Sydney giggled slightly before flipping her phone back over to see if she had any new notifications. Klara saw what she was doing and engaged in a new conversation, something other than football to distract her.
England v Germany, Wembley Stadium. 31st of July, Kick off: 5pm.
The lionesses had managed to fill the stadium for the first time ever. 87,192 people came to support them, them being a few girls from around the country who loved to kick a ball for a living. It was incredible.
You hadn’t managed to bump into Sydney yet, both opposing teams having done their pitch inspection one after the other.
Once out for the warm up, you noticed Germany had beat the lionesses to their home pitch. Eagerly awaiting to ‘smash’ the lionesses once again in a final.
You spotted a small ponytail of blonde hair in the middle of a scrimmage, full focus on her face. The cute expression brought a smile to your face, always did.
“Y/N! Eyes forward! Focus!” One of the trainers shouted at you as you missed your turn to practice shooting.
A bright blush came to your cheeks as all your teammates realised who you were looking at before smashing the ball into the top corner, too quick and too far for a talented Mary Earps to save. All while Sydney was getting the same treatment for her reaction to that shot.
Germany were as quick to leave the pitch back to their changing rooms as they were to enter, leaving the lionesses to trail behind.
You weren’t too far behind Syd, whistling lowly to grab her attention before she pushed open the changing room door. You gestured for her to come over to where you were standing against a wall away from both the changing rooms.
“Hey..” You whispered, biting your lip as your lover came into close view.
“Hi..” A small sparkle of adoration flickered across her eyes as she got as close to you without touching. “How are you?”
“Nervous, I can admit to that.” Holding your hand out for her to finally hold, while standing up straight, “but ready to beat your ass.”
“Haha, yeah sure. Dream on, we’re taking it home.”
“You wish.”
You both stood in a calm silence for what felt like a while, until you blurted out:
“Are we going to be okay? After this? I know i’ll be proud if you win and i won’t be angry or anything or hold it against you, i promise our relationship will stay the same and...” You quickly rambled out, twisting your hands together.
A small frown appeared on Sydney’s face, her hands lifted up to cup your cheeks and she leant her forehead against yours.
The small action made you calm down immediately.
“Everything will be fine, our relationship will be fine, the feelings mutual. I win? I win. You win? You win. There’s no going back. There’s no going back from the i love yous, Y/N. You’re mine forever.”
Your eyes met hers as she gradually released herself from your hold, your lips brushing against hers as she lifted her forehead back.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Just as you were about to finally pull her in for a good luck kiss, you were both interrupted by two slamming doors. Georgia and Lina.
Like you had been caught doing something much more, you both jumped away immediately and headed for your designated rooms not before giving Sydney a quick kiss on the forehead.
Again, everything will be okay.
Due to your mishap and unfocused situation during the warm up, the trainers advised to Sarina that you should be benched. Harsh, i know, we know but oh well. You took it with a pat on the back and a reassurance to go on with Alessia and Ella as a ‘super sub’. Sydney was also on the bench, so that left you to watch on before you could make your impact when the time comes.
The first half was tense, both teams creating chances, having shots on target and collecting yellow cards. It was obvious both teams wanted that trophy and accompanied medal today.
During half time, you and the other two super subs were informed you will be heading on about 10 to 15 minutes into the second half.
Fran Kirby for Ella Toone.
Ellen White for Alessia Russo.
Beth Mead for Y/F/N Y/L/N.
When it came to the time, you three were standing together. Stretching and warming up while waiting for the 4th official to make the call. You could hear the crowd go nuts, the appearance of the three young star players of the tournament giving them hope. You were gonna give them that hope.
Looking back, you could see the German bench. A familiar figure taking off her sub bib and tying her laces ready to also be substituted.
Tactical. She knew you better than any of the other german players. Credibly, you are the one to stop now.
Once Beth came off, you switched your game mode on and sprinted into position. You felt relaxed, calm and composed. You had confidence with the attendance supporting you and looking at your teammates faces, they thought so too.
Your thoughts came true as in the 62nd minute a long ball from Keira Walsh to Ella Toone, led the English side ahead. It was a beautiful goal, and assist, Ella chipping the ball calmly over the keepers head. The stadium was rocking, everyone was celebrating so hard you think the whole of London thought there was an earthquake happening.
1-0, England.
Before the restart, Germany decided to make a few substitutions. Your girlfriend being one of them, coming on for Sara Däbritz. You looked at her as she jogged into position, but she didn’t reciprocate, choosing to stay focused and not let any distractions bother her.
That proved right for her as we were taken off guard, Lina Magull’s shot, assisted by Tabea Waßmuth, went directly into the top corner. There’s was no way that could have been saved by the keeper, the defence was broken into and we were stolen from.
One all. Extra time.
Gathering over into a huddle beside the dugout, we all looked at each other as we sipped our water bottles. This was going to be tricky. Sarina decided to push us, wanting to get the trophy decided to the winner during extra time. There was no way any English player would want to go to penalties in an all important final, female or male. It wouldn’t work out. No way.
Sarina, being as relaxed as she is, brought great composure on the whole team. Ever since she arrived the whole team has never trusted a manager more, she wanted us to win, english or not. We wanted to make her proud.
Starting extra time was tricky, but not too tricky. England was gaining and creating more. One specific corner came in handy. Lauren Hemp stood up to take it. Thank Fuck she did.
It was an alright corner, you stood outside the 6 yard box waiting for the arrival. It was like time went slow and you could see exactly where the ball was going and coming in a perfect light.
You slammed your head on it and it slotted right past the keepers hands and you slipped right past your girlfriend who was marking you.
2-1, England.
You didn’t know quite how to react, you may have just scored the winning goal of the euro final. You just took off at lightening speed towards the dugouts, no need for a celebration as your teammates had all jumped onto your back causing you all to fall over.
You were shaking, your eyes already glossed over but there was still minutes on the clock, still time for Germany to react.
One thing you knew you and your team were good at was time wasting. Sarina asked you all to keep pushing during the second half of extra time, but you all reassured her that this technique will work. We are all English and arrogant, we always like to poke fun at our opponents, especially when they’re losing.
Our tactics definitely worked, winding up the Germans to the point where yellow cards were flying everywhere, more than the ball itself. We got the better half of it, gaining corners after corners and throw ins after throw ins until finally that whistle is blown.
Sarina’s face said it all, England have won their first ever tournament, on home soil, at Wembley.
Dropping to the floor, you covered your mouth with your hand as it fell open. You looked around and took it all in from there, you had done it.
“Y/N!! OH MY GOD.”
Alessia was the first one to you, as she was closest, pulling you up and gripping you into a hug.
The hug brought you back to reality, a few tears escaped the corner of your eyes and you looked over the pitch to see your teammates all the same. A pure look of euphoria spreading around the team.
Until you eyes caught sight of you opponents. They were all crying, laying on the floor, in each others arms, staring at the ground. They were the complete opposite.
Even though the German WNT had a lot of trophy history, the players still deserved it. Most of them young and new to the senior team, so they were in the same boat as any of the lionesses.
After the trophy ceremony, your eyes landed on a broken Sydney along with Laura and Klara fiddling with their silver pendants. You pondered whether you should walk over, not wanting it to be too soon. You choose to though, risking your chances.
Approaching carefully, you laid a small smile upon your face before a clumsy Ella Toone swings her arm around your shoulder and screams in your ear, “Champions baby!!” Right in front of them.
You jokingly pushed her away with a grin on your face before returning to your route. You took small steps until you were given a hint that it’s okay.
Klara noticed you first as Sydney bent down to sort her shin pads out. Removing her arm from around Laura, she gave you a quick hug and you reciprocated without a doubt and made sure to rub her back in sympathy.
“Congratulations.” She sniffled, giving a timid smile.
“You guys did so well, i’m so sorry. You deserve this just as much as we do.”
“Next time.” Laura winked.
You looked at Sydney next, her eyes big and wide. You heart immediately cracked, as she looked at you. You’ve never wanted to see her this upset in your life, ever, it made you forget everything that you’ve just achieved.
You took her into a tight embrace and she buried her face in your neck. You could feel a puddle of tears droop down the front of your jersey and the slight shake of her body. Your arms managed to hold her as tight as possible, rubbing her back as gently as you could before she abruptly pulled away. That made you panic, but her expression made you think twice.
“Stop. Go celebrate.” She managed to let out, nodding, “I’m fine.”
“Your not fine, i’m staying.”
“Y/N, please. I’m not asking you to i’m telling you.” she caught your hand in hers after you wipe a tear from her face and gave your palm a quick kiss, “Go.”
“She has us, she’ll be fine.” the others responded and encouraged you to go on.
“I’ll find you later, okay?” You whispered in her ear as you gave her one last hug on the pitch.
“No, celebrate with your team Y/N. Have fun. Don’t stress. I’ll see you in a few days. I promise.” Now getting impatient, she tries to push you away feeling that she is distracting you from the fun your teammates are having with the fans.
Unsure, you started walking backwards still looking at her, her shooing you away with her hands causing a little giggle to escape your mouth.
The lionesses had done it, they won their dear trophy.
Later on in the night, the lionesses were dancing the night away in a big room situated for them in their hotel. Loads of alcohol was passed around to family and friends, your parents already slightly tipsy becoming clingier to you and saying how proud they are.
You had your fair share of alcohol and dance floor moments, now you were sitting down on the floor against the wall with your phone in your hand.
Syd<3
you: you up still?
You didn’t have much hope she was still awake, but you had a feeling.
Syd<;3: yeah x
Your phone buzzed in your hand, the notification displayed at the top of your screen. You smirked slightly placing the top of your phone on you lips, an idea popping into your head.
You checked Sydney’s location on find my iphone and said goodbye to your parents, telling them you were tired and was going to bed. Not before picking up a bottle of champagne.
You had made it out to the lobby when you catch sight of Leah.
“And where do you think your going, missus? Especially with booze.” Leah slurred, pointing at you.
“You’re so drunk,” You laughed, “I’m going out.”
“Where?”
“To where the german team is staying.”
“Oh right, you go see your girlfriend. Don’t worry about us.”
“I won’t.” You waved over your shoulder at her and chuckled at her when she tripped on a little step.
Luckily, outside your hotel there were a group of taxis and so after telling them where you would want to go, you were on your way.
Once you arrived at the entrance to their hotel is when you remember that you didn’t know Sydney’s room number, deciding to try the front desk to squeeze the information out of the small man that was just sitting there looking at you blankly.
“Hi. Do you happen to know what room Sydney Lohmann is staying in? Please?” You gave him an unsure grin as you tapped your fingers on the desk.
“I’m sorry but i can’t give that information out, you know… safety reasons.” He went back to typing on his computer.
“okay…” You turned around and headed towards the lifts, hoping to find someone you knew from the team.
“Y/N?” An unsurprised voice sounded from behind you.
“Lena.. hi.” You twisted your body around to face her and gave her a cheeky grin.
She sighed immediately knowing what you want. “She’s in room 236.”
“Thank you, thank you.” You turned back to the row of lifts and called for one. The lift doors opened and she got in with you.
“Erm do you happen to know…”
“floor 3.” She mumbled still looking at her phone.
“mhm.” You hummed pressing the button, guessing hers was the same when she made no move.
When the doors finally opened, you scrambled your way out looking at every room number until you found 236.
Knocking gently, in case she was now asleep, you leant your head on the door frame waiting for the door to move.
When it does you are given the sight of Sydney in her towel, her eyes immediately widening, “What the fuck?”
“Hi.” You gave her a little wave, the past alcohol now hitting you. “I brought this..” You mumbled as you held up the bottle of champers in her face.
Tucking her towel securely in place, she lifted her hands to stop you waving the bottle around and pulled you inside. “I can see that. How did you know where i am? I never told you?”
You stared at her as you flopped onto her bed, immediately coming to the knowledge that these were significantly more comfier than yours. “Your beds are much comfier than ours, that’s not fair.”
“Y/N, listen to me.”
“Huh? Ok, ok. I stalked you on find my iphone and Lena was in the lobby.” You gave her a big grin, looking up at her.
“You’re so stupid. Why didn’t you just ask me?” She giggled, walking over to her suitcase for a pair of underwear.
Getting up with her, you pulled her into your front by her waist and started tracing your lips down her neck.
“Y/N, no this is not the time.” Sydney sternly mentioned when your hands tried undoing the knot at the top of her towel. “You’re drunk.”
“Am not drunk.”
Sydney gave you an ‘are you serious look’ as she pulled on her underwear, grabbing the rest of her pyjamas to put on in the bathroom.
“Hey, where you going? Not fair.” You whined as you sat back on her bed.
She simply blew you a kiss in return.
Once she returned from the bathroom, she found you sound asleep on the bed. She sighed at the fact you still had your shoes on and the trickiest things to get off of you without waking you up.
After she had achieved to do so without waking you up was when she realised how intoxicated you actually are. Going back to the bathroom to rummage through her wash bag for any pills, she found a near empty pack of paracetamol and placed it on the bedside table closest to you with a glass of water.
After tucking you in she travelled round to her side, where she was pulled in roughly by you. Your arms clung on to her, almost afraid she’ll leave. Sydney ran her hands through you hair as you laid upon her chest, “I love you so much and i’m so proud. Always.”
Placing one final kiss on the top of your head before drifting off as well.

Lena's pov
I felt bad. More than that I feel horrible. I hated how everything had happened. I felt like I might have lost the love of my life. And at first I wasn't sure why I did, what I did. Or why I did it that way.
Last couple of months had been practically the same old every day. Going into training, coming home having lunch, going back to the gym, coming home, having dinner, shower, going to sleep and repeat. In between that, occasionally playing matches and traveling for away games.
and then there was the realization I had, a few days after that game against Bayern.
Y/N looked so sad, so different from what she used to. She had always been so outgoing, loud and funny. It was what initially attracted me to her. We were very similar on that.
We had been friends for a couple years. It happened naturally, you both played for the U20 German national team, and once again at the main national team.
But we had only become closer during the world cup. She had gotten hurt on the last game before traveling to camp. And had been cut from the team. It wasn't anything too serious. It was a muscle injury. And they didn't want to risk aggravating it.
She was crushed.
And I noticed she might have been in need of a friend. I convinced her of coming along with the team. Having her there was important for all of us.
On the pitch she was something to reckon with. She was one of the youngest players, but probably our most fierce warrior. The way she always went for all or nothing made her incredible at creating scoring opportunities.
The team needed her there.
And from there things took a turn once I asked her out.
She was the woman I thought one day I would marry.
Seeing the state she was in during the game, worried the hell out of me.
It felt like I had sucked all the happiness and beauty out of her.
There were no smiles. No jokes between her and her teammates. Her creative abilities on pitch seemed to be gone.
I had tried talking to her, but it was in vain.
Pernille had stopped me before I even had the chance.
I could see the whole dynamic of team was different too.
It felt as if a whole garden had been poisoned.
The most frustrating part for us, was that even if they were visibly shaken up, Wolfsburg still managed to lose.
And now I was getting ready to meet up with the team at camp.
I didn't know what to do when I get there. I don't know if I should just respect her space or if I should try and explain myself to her.

This on is short but I already have the next one written, and I'll post it soon.
How are we feeling about Obi?

At the beginning of the season, I was so angry with Tuchel because of his attitude towards Leon and wanted him fired. There was a feeling that Leon had no future in Bauern under Tuchel. It seemed that all this would not have happened if Nagelsmann had not been fired, he appreciated Leon. How much has changed now! Leon has earned Tuchel's recognition and he is a starter. At that time, Nagelsmann kicked him out of the NT. And the worst thing is that Nagelsmann will probably become the coach of Bayern. It seems that with Nagelsman, Leon has little chance in Bayern, because he changed the midfield as he did in the national team. And I don't think Nagelsmann and Leon have a good relationship after the situation in the national team. Moreover, if Nagelman stays in the national team, this is also bad, it is likely that we will see Leon there more. It looks like a lose-lose situation.
It’s crazy how the tables have turned, isn’t it? I felt exactly the same way you did not too long ago—frustrated with Tuchel and his treatment of Leon. I felt like even though Leon’s performances were far from his best at the start of the season, Tuchel had backed him into a corner and gave him very few chances to prove himself. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss Nagelsmann in charge at Bayern; like you, I took him for a Leon fan. And now, it feels like a complete role-reversal—Tuchel’s become a staunch Leon supporter and it’s Nagelsmann who’s not giving him a chance.
Whether or not this is good news probably depends on your perspective, but Nagelsmann will remain in charge of the national team until 2026. In my opinion, this is kind of a double-edged sword. On one hand, Nagelsmann staying put could give Leon a better shot at a future at Bayern. On the other, he may have to work a bit harder to get back to the national team. But he’s already done that, hasn’t he? Just look at his recent performances; he’s been absolutely killing it lately from one box to the other—generating assists, scoring goals, and helping out the defense whenever needed. He’s doing everything he can to prove he’ll be an asset at the Euros and it’s hard not to feel proud of him for that.
I’m definitely a bit curious what Leon and Nagelsmann’s relationship is like after he dropped Leon. I think, at least to some extent, Nagelsmann still supports him and wants him to get back to his best. The way he phrased his decision to cut Leon afterwards was interesting; he understood Leon’s frustration, but he had to make a decision in the end. He knew it would hurt Leon, but I believe he was just doing what he thought was best for the national team; it wasn’t personal. At the same time, I wouldn’t blame Leon if he was still hurt and reeling a bit from it all. In any case, he seems to have turned what could’ve been a big stumbling block into a strong motivator, if his recent performances are anything to go by :) not only that, but he said himself that his mission now, with the Euros on the horizon, is to show Nagelsmann that he’s highly motivated and a fighter:
Tumblr media
Right now, it feels like everything’s a bit up in the air. We’re still waiting on Bayern to appoint Tuchel’s successor (although it’s looking like the club’s current favorite is Ralf Rangnick), and we’re still a ways away from the Euro call-ups. The good news? UEFA just recently greenlit expanding national team squads from 23 players to 26, effective as of the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament, which gives Leon an even better chance of getting back on the team. As for what the future Bayern manager will think of him, that remains to be seen, but he’s doing everything in his power to ensure he’s recognized as the asset he is.

shit mentality if he’s crying everytime they lose get it together alba vibes fr
to me it says he cares a lot about his team and hates to lose. You know Barça has barely lost this season, right? 4-5 times at the the most? He angry cried when he got subbed and was walking in the rain towards the bench when we played against Bayern in 2021-22 Champions league. He’s a passionate young man that’s not wrapped in the toxicity of “showing your emotions is bad” and that Alba cry for me it seemed from afar from someone who couldnt see how his team would get out of it, desperate with a Valverde that was very mid in Europe. And he was right, but that seemed a defeatist cry, something Gavi NEVER has. Ciao

April 9-11 European Roundup: Match Reviews
It was a week full of surprises, with underdogs exceeding expectations.
Tumblr media
Wow. Nearly every match this week was filled with drama and reminded everyone of the beauty of continental competitions. From wonder goals to disappointing performances, here’s a brief review of a chunk of the matches played. I’ve only managed to watch these highlights, so these reviews do not represent the full matches but key moments.
Arsenal 2-2 Bayern Munich: Penalty Controversy Steals the Attention
Tumblr media
A Harry Kane goal against Arsenal on his return to North London was written in the stars.
Of course, as a Spurs fan, it was a delight to see Harry Kane score against the Gunners, making him the highest goalscorer against Arsenal at the Emirates. As he said in his post-match interview, Arsenal tend to concede penalties to Kane, with him scoring his 15th goal against them - and 8 of them being penalties. Maybe it’s not a good decision to let the striker of your biggest rivals be the top scorer at you on your ground, yeah?
Besides me fawning over Harry for a bit, the game was good. Saka opened the scoring with a beautiful finish thanks to some pretty poor defending from Davies, who struggled against Arsenal’s leading man (and picked up a yellow, meaning he misses their next meeting). Unsurprisingly, Arsenal played on the front foot. At the same time, Bayern largely looked to counter, with Bayern’s right winger Sané causing havoc on Arsenal’s left side, and Kiwior looked like a major defensive weakness that night. But it wouldn’t be Kiwior but Gabriel, who’s arguably been better than Saliba this season, who loses the ball, resulting in former Arsenal player Gnarby equalising for the visitors.
Usually, with a leakproof defence in the league, Sané again caused trouble as he glided through it, and Saliba conceded a penalty through a stuck-out leg. Raya dived about ten business days before Kane even moved, resulting in Kane waiting and slotting it away instead of his usual “I’m going to launch this bad boy into the net as hard as possible,” silencing the Emirates as Bayern played without away fans.
Trossard, who was subbed on Martinelli (I was surprised he didn’t start if I’m honest), would go on to equal for the home side with a sweet strike. Still, ultimately, the game ended in a 2-2 draw - a much better result for Bayern than Arsenal, who should have taken advantage of Bayern, given this is one of the weakest teams they’ve displayed in a long, long time.
Of course, the game had to end in controversy as Saka tried to draw a foul from Neuer in the last minute instead of shooting at an open goal. I think the criticisms have gotten out of hand, but I agree that it was a poor decision by Saka and Neuer, who knew that he wouldn’t get the ball and stopped moving his leg. Saka’s leg didn’t look in a particularly natural position, but camera angles make it a difficult call. I read an opinion that Arsenal likely tries to draw fouls to take advantage of set pieces, which I think is a good point. However, in the world of VAR, they need to get it out of their system when they’re in the box. Ultimately, what has happened happened, and both sides need to let go of it as an exciting game is teed up at the Allianz Arena.
My MOTMs: Odegaard (ARS); Kane (FCB)
Real Madrid 3-3 Man City: Wonder Goals Star in 6-Goal Thriller
Tumblr media
Ruben Dias scored an unfortunate goal and didn’t have the best of times against Vinicius and Rodrygo.
Bar the four incredible goals scored, the real news to come out of the game was Pep pronouncing “vomit” in quite a zesty manner when asked about Kevin de Bruyne’s absence from the starting lineup. Even his stomach is against him playing in big UCL nights, I’m afraid (I still love that man).
Before the clock could even hit a minute, Tchouaméni got carded for a foul on Grealish - which, if I’m honest, was entirely unnecessary - and now misses the second leg. Minutes later, Silva scored a beautiful free kick. Some may argue Lunin should have done better, but let’s be honest: you, him, the players, the managers, the Bernabeu and the neighbour’s dog weren’t expecting that. Real Madrid then responded with two rapid goals in the 12th and 14th minute, with Dias conceding an own goal and Rodrygo scoring, both from taking advantage of City’s relatively slow back line. The game slowed down after that, and City were sloppy at best.
They massively improved in the second half, though, and managed to turn the 2-1 scoreline in their favour, with Foden (it just had to be him) scoring from range perfectly into the top left corner, making it impossible for Lunin to make the save. Gvardiol then one-upped it with an even better goal on his right foot, his first goal for City since his summer transfer. This goal sparked a lot of humorous Twitter conversation, with City fans saying that Walker will be shooting from 40 yards out constantly and Liverpool fans saying that they don’t even want to think about Robertson shooting like that on his left - let alone right foot. Gvardiol hasn’t been the 70m signing most have expected, but his upturn of form lately has been promising.
Three unforgettable goals weren’t enough, and Valverde scored an even better strike to level the game at 3-3. For all the hype of Real closing the Bernabeu roof (which one commented that it looked like an air fryer, which I’m afraid I have to agree) and wearing all white, it was an excellent game for the neutral, but not so much for the Madridistas, who may have the 4-0 trashing at the Etihad in mind…
Oh, and of course, Haaland ghosted. Whether or not he served as a distraction for the centre-backs or just failed to get involved is not my fight to fight.
My MOTMs: Vinicius Jr (RMA); Gvardiol (MCI)
Atletico Madrid 2-1 Dortmund: The Metropolitano Still Stands Strong
Tumblr media
What can I say? Atletico did what it always does.
So, I’m not an avid watcher of Atletico, and I’m even less of a Bundesliga person. Thanks to time zones, I don’t watch European games live either, so I wasn’t precisely tuned into this match as much as I should, but it was still exciting.
Atletico should have had more than a one-goal advantage but failed to capitalise, notably when Lino should have scored in the 71st minute. This is especially true given Dortmund’s inconsistent form this season. However, their UCL form should be applauded as they escaped the “Group of Death” relatively more straightforwardly than the other three teams. The home side stunned Dortmund early in the game, with De Paul capitalising on a Kobel-Maatsen mistake to score in the 4th minute. Although Dortmund had the ball, all the chances came from Atletico, who…well, Atletico-ed with a back five and looked to counter, as is the Diego Simeone way.
The home side would deservedly double to lead through Lino to round off the first half. Dortmund finally grew as the game went on and did manage to snatch a goal back through Haller to keep Dortmund in the second tie. It's less eye-catching than the previous night's matches, but the second leg should be fun to watch.
My MOTMs: Griezmann (ATM); Haller (BVB)
PSG 2-3 Barcelona: Xavi’s Super Subs Give Barca a One-Goal Advantage
Tumblr media
What’s up with big stars and poor UCL nights? Mbappe ghosts as PSG loses at home.
PSG ultras had a lot to say and do before the match, with them launching fireworks at the hotel Barcelona were staying at 4 am, chanting “p*ta Barca” (f*ck Barca) to the players, as well as “Real Madrid” too. Some bold moves, considering their star man will leave them to Real Madrid for nothing, but PSG ultras have always been questionable. Some Barcelona players, like Ferran Torres and youngest Marc Guiu, were seen recording and laughing, likely at the fans. They would also have the last laugh that night as the current La Liga holders left with a one-goal advantage.
Barcelona started the game much stronger than PSG (they had 0.81 xG, ten shots and one on-target versus 0.33 xG and eight off-target shots) and were rewarded when Raphinha scored in an empty net. They carried this lead to halftime, but PSG was on the front pedal when the second-half whistle blew, looking like an entirely different team. Barcelona couldn’t handle the pressure, and former Barcelona man Dembele scored (and celebrated) and was followed by Vitinha - who’s been having an excellent season for the Ligue 1 giants - only three minutes later.
However, Xavi’s super substitutions would save the game for Barcelona, as Roberto came off for Pedri, who then produced a wonder assist within a minute with his first touch of the game - and his first touch since his injury in March - to Raphinha, as all the Brazilian had to do was slot it past Donnarumma to level the game. Later, de Jong would come off for Christensen, and this time, he one-upped Pedri and scored thanks to a Gündogan corner with his first touch, which was within a minute of coming on. On his birthday, too!
As a Barcelona fan, I would have been happy with a draw at the Parc des Princes, but to leave with a win really must have been confidence high - even if it’s only a one-goal margin and there’s still all to play for that the Montjuïc Stadium next week. I can’t lie - Dembele scoring and celebrating hurt, but I think Barca fans have overreacted, especially those calling for the Figo treatment. Honestly, I’m just glad he did what he did and left us with some money instead of going on a free next summer.
My MOTMs: Vitinha (PSG); Raphinha (FCB)
Liverpool 0-3 Atalanta: Klopp’s Farewell Party in Tatters
Tumblr media
Poor, poor mistakes from the Reds resulted in a completely unexpected scoreline.
My oh my, where do I even start? For starters, I’d like to say that I quite like Klopp. I think it’s a bit of a shame he’s leaving Liverpool, and I hope he leaves the club on a high note. I’m glad they won the EFL Cup, so at least they have something, even if it’s the least noteworthy competition they could win; a cup is a cup (but I am a Spurs fan, so I’m not exactly in a position to judge).
That being said, Liverpool’s defence was sh*t. I’m sorry, but it had to be said. I like Kelleher, and I think he’s been pretty good for Liverpool, given he’s not a starter and has to fill in Alisson's shoes, but man, that first goal was a bummer - although I don’t think that should take away from his other two incredible saves before and after the error - Kelleher did end up conceding two more after that (neither of which the goalkeeper was at fault for, but he did concede). Unfortunately, goalkeepers tend to be remembered for the goals they concede, not the ones they prevent.
Attacking-wise, Liverpool was fine but very much not clinical - although I don’t know if Klopp wished for goals when he started a front three of Gakpo-Nuñez-Elliot. There were a few promising sequences, but Nuñez (absolutely no one is surprised) was wasteful - but he’s not the only culprit.
Atalanta tried to catch Liverpool on the counter - again, to no one’s surprise - and they reaped the awards. Italian striker Scamacca scored two against Liverpool in the 38th and 60th minute, the first taking advantage of Kelleher not reacting nearly fast enough for a preventable goal as it slid under the ‘keeper and the second coming from a cross when (1) Van Dijk really should have closed down De Ketelaere and (2) Scamancca should not have been so open and unmarked.
The third was by Pasalic and was to an inexplicable back pass by Szoboszlai - although Kelleher did block the initial shot by Ederson, it wasn’t enough. The backline wasn’t trying to prevent the two later goals by how they reacted. They were walking back when the Atalanta players really should have been closed down earlier.
A comeback looks unlikely as Liverpool plays away next, although it’s not off the cards. Liverpool have now drawn to an underwhelming United and lost at home to a side that’s 6th on the Serie A table and have lost their two recent games. Their finishing has disappointed them despite having some of the Premier League’s best forwards and playing well in their previous Europa games. This game is a major result for Atalanta and confirms them in the semifinal - though I don’t want to jinx it.
You have quite a lot of work to do if you want that nice farewell party, Jürgen Klopp.
My MOTMs: Gakpo (LIV); Scamacca (ATA)
Leverkusen 2-0 West Ham: So Close Moyes! But Forget It
Tumblr media
Moyes-ball almost gets them a draw…until it didn’t.
I’ll be zooming through the next few because I think the results are coming, or I don’t follow the teams too much.
Leverkusen’s 30 shots to West Ham’s one sums it up. Still, West Ham did look like they were going to snatch a point until the German side finally broke the deadlock with seven minutes of regular time remaining through Hofmann, who would also assist Boniface’s goal in stoppage time. Fabianski bailed the team out on multiple occasions, displaying some fantastic saves. On a better or worse day - depending on who you’re asking - Leverkusen easily could have had three to five goals. A two-goal deficit is saveable for West Ham at home, but they’ll need to do better on the counter.
Also, please end Leverkusen’s unbeaten streak. If the streak ends by Moyes ball, it’d be hilarious, and I need one less thing for them to be happy about (I’m just a little salty).
My MOTMs: Fabianski (WHU), Hofmann (B04)
AC Milan 0-1 Roma: What in the World is De Rossi Cooking?
Tumblr media
Roma play at home next with a one-goal advantage.
All I can say is that Roma should have fired Mourinho ages ago if De Rossi was willing to take the job before his release (and this isn’t even my Spurs bias talking) because you’re telling me De Rossi has only lost to Inter and Brighton (in a useless game) between then and now? What in the world is he cooking in Rome?
Also, that back-and-forth between Giroud and Lukaku was hilarious. It’s even funnier when the replays show that Lukaku’s making the goalkeeper’s life way harder by standing in front of him and preventing Svilar from catching the ball.
No man of the matches because that’s all the highlights had.
Aston Villa 2-1 Lille: Work to Be Done Next Week
Tumblr media
McGinn, with his iconic celebration as he put the Villans two in front.
The game was a perfect McGinn performance from the looks of it. I’ll admit that the second goal looked accidental on Bailey’s part (that slip…was he trying to cross?), but that strike was terrific. Of course, Lille did manage to pull one back, but Martinez also made some stunning saves to keep Villa in the game in the first half. The way he comes off his line with that confidence is impressive.
My MOTMs: McGinn (AVL), Diaketé (LIL)

That was definitely a great game, especially as a German :)
First of all I’m really happy that the team finally has a shimmer of hope again and something to look forward to after all these tough months. Would have been really gutted for them to lose another big game and therefore the Olympia dream.
They had their head in the game from the very first minute. They showed that they really want to go to Olympia, fought the whole time and showed up as a team.
Ofc there were moments where they started to shake a bit, but they never lost their goal and finally played like a team again. They had each others backs.
I was a bit sceptical about the lineup, but the changes worked and especially Jule did her job very well. The sub at halftime was also a good choice, Schüller played with her strengths (first and foremost her speed).
And also really happy that Endemann got her first cap for Germany.
There were also some unlucky moments on both sides. The Netherlands had some great chances, but our defence threw themselves in front of every ball. And obviously Merle did some really important saves. Then we also have Nüskens big chance in the first half where the wood saved the Netherlands and also overall a great defensive performance by Janssen, etc.
The goals kinda fitted perfectly. Klaras goal was a great combination of Obis fighting sense, a great cross and then maybe on purpose, maybe by accident, a direct header to Klara. And Leas goal was a typical header, again one of Leas strengths.
Still one has to congratulate the Netherlands for a good game. They not only had these big chances, but they were also absolutely strong in the defence. Maybe sometimes not concentrated enough which led to some bad passes and missed chances. But overall the game could have ended differently, if the luck would have been on their side.
There is still a lot to work on, but now the team deserves to celebrate this win and I’m exiting to see, what the future holds. It will also be interesting to see if the next coach will be integrated in the next matches before Olympia. I think it would benefit the team considering that the Euros come after and there aren’t that many international fixtures.
Hope the euphoria is coming with the Bayern girls back to Munich :)

Why I'm started to hate football (soccer)
When hearing the word football, or see a football ball, it triggered/upset me. Here reason starting losing interest, I'm a Manchester United and England fan. No glory supporter/fan, even I'm not from Manchester or no reatives there and there no rule on who to support. I'm a fan of whoever I want. Yes, Americans I mean Soccer.
Since Sir Alex retired- Since he retired never think how worse it got and also think it wouldn't get better without Sir Alex. Since then United struggle and likes of Manchester City and Liverpool, it's f***ing frusrated. had five managers and many different players, try get a player that prove the team but need more than just few players. Things are diffcult with rivals getting better every day, it pissed me off. We won three trophies so far and thought when we won something it start but end up nothing. We got Ten Hag, start two matches loses, but won on afterward. I stay away from football, cos upset about the World Cup, when on United they won a League Cup and finised 3rd, there many ups and downs, and many downs. Wanted Kane at United but didn't happen but got three great players, annoyed a South Korea player choose Bayern instead of United. Friendly match was annoyimg and start of new season, we went backward. I'm fed up, want football to disappear. This what make me think how depressing football can be.
Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern, Celitc, Seville and other clubs I hate- I hate the sight of Manchester City and Liverpool and the word/sound of it. By the time by time they got new owner and then new manager, it took retirement of Sir Alex. Annoyed what change of United and City, they buy United's history by winning treble then they try and Arsenal Unbeaten record and then win another treble or more or four tropies then another four trophes next, worst they be coping Bareclona. By time United return, it be tricky to catch up and City fans say they still the best when they end up struggling. Their manager Pep is a prick when he was at Bayern, I remember him criticing United, there a City fan talk to some United fans why United not doing well cos we buy player that didn't do well, why would I listen to a City or Liverpool fan, they wouldn't listen to a United fan. And then their Liverpool, they seem to catch up, when United catch them up in League titles, they on 20 and Liverpool on now 19, they think they won most trophies then United but believe it's wrong. And their fans are pathetic. They go on about how many European Cup they won, it pathetic. And other team is Bayern, I can't stand abit more than Real and Bareca, two players we try to get Kim Jae Min and Harry Kane, Kane hurt me more. Wanted to see him in United, as I'm also England fan and love to see some great English players in United and Kane is a talisman of England and there rumor of Kane joining United, but United move on cos of £100 millions. We would got him for free if he stay with Spurs (mention them later). corry on Bayern they still on top and they like mocking United. Also got trolled by two Bayern pricks on twitter. I hate Celtic, for many reason, they seem unstoppable cos in Scottish League there not much challengers and they seem bunch of Anti-British/Poppy/English. Also one of their fan in Star Wars forum, one of my nememies in that forum. and United bad record againist Seville, I don't know how that happen. I hat Spurs cos of Kane, they should keep him until his contact finish so maybe United can get him but sell him to Bayern (as they never give up like Real or Barcea). So my hated of Spurs cos of Kane. Don't know how long Kane be in Bayern. Also hate Leeds and Arsenal cos of their fans, Leeds their history of attacking other club players (See movie, Dammed United) and fans are worst, they love to attack United fans when their matches. And one of the Arsenal fan (Bits and Prats, Youtuber) say they gald United didn't get the South Korean player, likw what the fuck. Also hate Real, Barclona, Galasray, West Ham and Bolton.
(Yes Hate maybe string word but I don't care, many say they hate Manchester United. And everybody has fans, so does Manchester United and got hated for many reason.)
Sport Medias- Everybody has opinion but they talk alot of c***, and no interest in them, they're are depressing. Also these fans channel they do tell c***. Same with newspapers.
Fellow Manchester United fans- We may support the same team but disagree on many things, I gald that United got Mount but some fans disagree and blame him on faliure. Some don't believe Ten Hag is the man, can't afford to get rid of him and get new manager and start again and get worse. I believe they one of the reason United faliure, if they ever took over the club from Glazer sure they ruined it. Also one used to called me a glory supporter cos I never went to matches, and mention some from London went to matches (as he think he know them), when I snap back he f***ing respond to support Leeds and say I'm sad, he more sad and should of support FC United or Man S***y. Also United fans' hated on England how sad, sure there might be some but some think they don't believe United fans to be England fans, they think they know them.
Money and Billionaire owners- I believe money destory football, some players cos £100 Millions, one day £1 billions. Also club may unable to get cos they unable to give them their wage, how did that happen, like United unable to get Garth Bale cos they unable to give him wage. And Manchester City and Chelsea are small team then billionaire come in and bought them and somehow tranform them. Even Chelsea no longer has that Oil Billionaire, Man Shity are get worse. And f***ing Glazers refuse to sell Manchester United yankee pricks.
WAGs- Why I be interest in them? And why they a thing. WAGS mean Wifes and Girlfriends of footballers, Former England manager,Sven think it's a gppd idea for footballers to bring their wife or girlfriend for media to follow them and keep away from England team, which is pathetic. When next World Cup, stop bring WAGs still either way, then fans say it good idea well maybe some.
Womens' Football- NOT AGAINST IT, JUST NOT INTO IT. I'm more used with men's football and glow up with it. Then comparing it really p*** me off.
Will England (mens) ever win the World Cup or Euro?- Why is it England unable win a trophy, even have some great players and still no ever near. And some English go for other nation and moan about people not support their local and support other teams. I always go for England, no matter what idiots say.
Memories playing football at school and college- School was worst memories playing football. Never great football player, blame for loss, people try to put my aside, argue for having me, pick last, bad goalkeeping and when try to trackle people say it's a foul. Thinking about make me sick.
Some Players- Manchester United players or not, specially not, there some players I can't stand and totally disagree with, include political.
Haters of Manchester United- Worst Human Beings. Not reason I starting hating/hating football, but they are worst about football.

How does every former star Ajax player have some form of drama at their next/following club😭 de Ligt at Juventus and now Bayern, hakim at Chelsea, Frenkie at Barca, Mazraoui at Bayern, van de beek at United…. I don’t think it’s their fault but it’s something I noticed
yeah sis :( okay I appreciate de Ligt and it's very good he left juve so I can say something nice without letting my animosity take the best of me jfhdgsa no but he's a great player and and the ajax wonderkid academy kid etc etc ya know. A bit sad he's struggling under tuchel (another down on tuchel's death note list) but I think he scored recently, he's still young tbh he will pull through. I don't see any particular issue with Frenkie too? apart from his injury!! He's had the best career of them all no? and Nous look I love him, I support him a lot and I kinda detest he's being kept on the bench but I'm also a bit more hopeful for him, because he's in a place where he has all the time of the world to change road if he's not into bayern anymore. He gets his chances there as well, from what I see germans like him too. He left ajax before hakim and younger so you know...he has time. Yeah the 2 people I feel very bad out of THAT generation of ajax wonders are hakim & donny. cause honestly look at chelsea now hakim was absolutely screwed by a club that was already losing pieces 3 years ago, too many changes, too much spending. and donny my brother :( He never fit manchester united and I wish he went to serie a instead tbh.
It happens, that team was a dream because they were collectively strong, they had chemistry, it was just magic. It's something that happens once in a while. And they beat asses in ucl as well so no one can bring "oh it's just eredivisie" as an excuse. All of them are great players but football is not always just isn't it. I think those who went to epl had it worse - too much pressure and too much shit I personally don't like at all. Praying for my man donny rn tho, he's having it worst rn. Would love to see him in serie A in the future.

You win some, you lose some...
After beating scummy Leeds and the much more tolerable Olympique Lyonnais, many fans suggested United were on fire, Erik Ten Hag was cooking, and superlatives were flowing all over Twitter.
Well, like the change from Twitter to X, so did United's fortunes change with our midweek games against Wrexham and Real Madrid.
Tumblr media
For the academy prospects (and Jonny Evans) we saw the impact of physicality beyond technical ability. Wrexham were strong, progressive with their build-up play, and the 3-5-2 style caused United's kids problems.
United, in response, were full of guile but ultimately lacked end product up front - a tale we're too familiar with in the first team. Things may have been different had Dan Gore not been sent off, but the same could be said of the freak injury to Paul Mullin. Bishop's poor tackle on the edge of the box broke the star forward's rib and punctured a lung, potentially ruling the forward out for a number of months. It wasn't deliberate but it was a red, and United's eventual 10 men was only fair.
Despite the 3-1 defeat Hannibal stood out, and Fernandez and Jurado not far behind him in terms of potentials for the first team, but the friendly was a good indication of the good, bad, and potential with the youth prospects. A lot of loans should be pursued now.
Tumblr media
For the first team, a match with Don Carlo's Galacticos was never really likely to be a United win without a no9. Bellingham scored a wonderful (BUT OFFSIDE) opening chip over Onana, and maybe the De Gea fans were right - David would have been on his line and the opportunity to lob would be gone. That said, it's a gamble. I prefer my keepers to be able to pass to teammates more often than they pass to the opposition.
Mainoo's injury was the big disappointment of the night, like Amad's, and deprived us of seeing just how ready he is for first team football. Arsenal is one thing, but Madrid are the real deal.
In his stead, Eriksen showed the weaknesses we're already aware of; great technique and vision but ultimately slow and defensively lacking. Mount's energy and pressing helps with this, but that's not enough versus big teams like Real, Barca, City, Bayern, and I think it's no surprise we're seeing reports of a bid for Fiorentina's Amrabat currently.
A 2-0 defeat is a shame, but United weren't bullied out of the game or overrun. There were chances, but without a true striker it makes a big difference. Same goes for the line-up tinkering. Bruno out wide isn't terrible, but it won't get the best from him. ETH needs to try different formations though. Adaptation and flexibility are what make champions.
Pre-season is about bedding in tactics and an overarching strategic approach to football. With the World Cup last year, and a heavily congested fixture list, this just wasn't possible to the level required. Now is the time to truly see Ten Hag Ball. Erik Ten Hag's second season (pending Hojlund and Amrabat) could be very tasty. Up the fucking reds.
