Finally installed my Nardi x Personal wheel on the new buttonbox that just came in with a Fanatec emulator/QR1.

Did it all without giving Fanatec a single dime on top of what I paid for the 8nm bundle and load cell kit.

First and last time I ever give them any money. The CSL P1 V2 is absolute garbagio. Load cell pedal setup also needs tweaking. Still waiting on the springs for that.

so upon having learned that a hitbox makes playing my traditional fights and arcade games much easier on my hands i decided to invest in one designed for platformer fighters and i guess other things too a bit back. it has finally gotten here and i've fucked around with it some. learning it is A Trial but i do really like it thus far. it's easier on the hands and when i am remembering how to do things with my hands it is working out very well.

it is called. the superslab. like that is legit just its name. prong also makes buttonboxes for traditional fighters called jabslabs but i already have a hitbox so eh? i needed a rectangle. and this one was around when i was shopping about. it's fairly light and thin. only real concern i have is that the connection point is a usb c port. and i just. FRET. over ruining those as i have in the past.

for those wondering how in the fuck this thing works at all here is what my hands are doing for smash ultimate:

left pinky: shield

left ring: left

left middle: down

left pointer: right

left thumb: angle modifiers (middle modifier at least makes you do tilts if it is held down, as well as walk)

right pinky: up (turn up to jump off if you love yourself)

right ring: grab

right middle: jump

right pointer: b

right thumb: c stick+a

💖 Which one of your creations are you the proudest? Show off!

My wedding dress. It's not very good, looking back with a lot more experience in garment construction (I hadn't discovered shoulder slope or alterations for the short waisted yet), but I'm still proud of it. I made it out of a gold silk/cotton blend because white makes me look tubercular. Also the fabric was washable. 

This is the top of it. I don't have a very good picture of me standing in it where it isn't sort of wrinkled from the car ride over.

🍓Do you have a dream project? What would you craft if you had infinite time and money?

An entire wardrobe for specific eras - one for the 1920s, one for the early 1930s, one for the mid-1930s, and one for the late 1930s (specifically 1939, one of my favorite fashion years). Everything would be done in cotton, silk, linen, or wool, likely self-drafted because why not?

This would include knitwear because in this fantasy I have finally learned to knit properly. 

If I could ever wear corsetry, I might dip a toe into the late 19-teens. Those fashions were adorably bonkers.
