I feel like they have one of the most beautiful relationships in the show.

I mean you start off in the very beginning of BLoSC, where Buzz is experiencing what it would be like for Warp to die. His mourning for his friend is so great, it causes him to act irrationally and to promise never to get close to anyone again. And he becomes reckless with his life, unwilling to take steps to protect himself. (I can't prove it but for me, it reads like Buzz has given up on life without Warp and that not only does he blame himself for his friend's death, he no longer values his own life.) But then when he is finally told that Warp isn't dead he can't come to terms with the fact that Warp is more partial to evil in his view of ethics.

Buzz finds out that he doesn't understand Warp at all, even though they have been best friends for 20+ years. It pushes distance between them.

The Movie ends with Warp defeated, and Buzz willing to fight beside people again, but their relationship doesn't end there.

Buzz continuously has to fight Warp again and again. You would think that Buzz would grow bitter, that he would hate Warp for what he did, but he doesn't. Sure they fight on opposite sides, but Buzz never once expresses hate towards Warp. Dislike for his actions, sure. But never hate.

Eventually, you get to Tag Team.

The episode that really splits open their feeling for each other.

Warp is incapable of admitting that he couldn't leave behind Buzz and lies about it. (If you think he can't drive stick, you are insane).

It's revealed that Buzz still has every intention of being Warp's friend again. But the episode ends with Buzz choosing his ethics over Warp when Darkmatter says that he won't change.

The best thing about this is that Buzz does not make that decision again when given the chance in Ancient Evil. He instead chooses to let Warp go and to pursue him another day.

Now it makes sense b/c at this point Buzz finally understands who Warp is. There was so much leading up to Buzz finally seeing Warp as himself and not what Buzz thought he was, or what Zurg wanted agent Z to be.

At this point, Warp has saved his life, thanked him for the help, and ignored Zurg's orders.

Buzz finally understands that there can be a gray area. Warp doesn't do evil for evil's sake, he does it to enrich his own life. He's really much more neutral rather than good or evil. He goes where the money takes him but isn't completely ruthless. He cares enough about Buzz to save him on several occasions and is willing to do good if it benefits him.

So essentially their relationship is about Buzz and Warp accepting each other's differences and respecting that they simply don't believe in the same things and that they can be friends despite this.

Aaaand then they had 42 be the final episode instead of Ancient Evil b/c god forbid we get some closure for these two.

The thing is that they are friends again by the end of Ancient Evil. And that's the cutest part, despite everything that happened, their friendship survived, even after it was destroyed, they rebuilt it.

And that's the real plot of BLoSC

Unfinished work of 2023

I think I’m gonna start doing this every year now, opening up the years with WIP that never got finished. I had a lot of ideas that I really loved and either the story changed or I kinda moved on from the piece cause I didn’t know where to go with it. But to be honest I may continue on with some of these in the future!

I didn’t post much last year due to my wedding in January, that and a job that has been sucking me dry ( in the process of looking for a new one), but here a bits and pieces of what was going on in my head during 2023

Top left: the name for this one was “Big Brother Sunday” and pretty much was inspired by Warp taking the boys out one last time before Estrella was born, Percy (the bigger kid) is telling orion (The little kid) how Warp did this for him too right before Orion was born.

Top right: this is actually a scene from a comic I had doodled and most likely this scene is gonna go a little differently. It was to kinda open up and explain how they worked together on the mission in private while still being “enemies” in front of everyone else (other than buzz and commander, they are part of the mission too), it was a sweet moment to kinda show the audience there was feelings going on between them >.>

Middle left: This one was actually supposed to be the cover to my story/ and also another song challenge, the song being Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer”.

Bottom left: another Song challenge! This time for the song “Clean” by Taylor Swift. This one was to kinda dive into the topic of Warp’s relationship with his Ex Venus, who was abusive, and the feeling of him finally being able to move on from her, I still may continue on this one, I would love to make a animatic if I ever had the time energy.

So yeah.. I've been watching-

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command

And these are the main few designs, I'll be working on the other characters sooner or later. And in this AU surprise, surprise.. is Woody! Now I'm obviously only in the making of this AU and I'm trying to brainstorm ideas, so if y'all have any I'd be down to steal them. Anyway..

WOODY

Woody obviously isn't just a cowboy no more.. he is a Space Commander (or Cadet) because he is still fairly new to all of it. I feel as though Woody would have been a normal farm boy on Earth, obviously doing silly cowboy things yk. And Buzz would wind up having a mission of some kind there, yk. And meets Woody, Woody saves him blah blah, and learns more about Space Commanders and wants to be one, becoming the first space cowboy. And goes on to be "friends" with Buzz.. I say "friends" meaning GAYS OMFG YAAAH.. Idfk don't quote me, things might change 💥💥💥 (bro also hasn't had the time to shave that scruff off his silly face yk)

He is basically the same person and character, I just made him look and act more queer and he also love-hates Buzz still..

Also kinda literally the same person he is just a dirty blond gay, that's gay for Woody AHEM.. Anyway, his hair doesn't like to stay in his balaclava.. But it's not a permanent design choice, it's hair and I might have it under the balaclava most of the time idk 🤷🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️
