@outlawiism cheered, ❛ two years later and you haven’t changed. ❜
❛ yeah, well, your hair's a lot scragglier and greasy. at least I've showered in the last twelve months. space hobo chic, like always. ❜ she's not crying, you're crying. she hadn't thought she'd see him again, especially with the big even that had happened to the world recently. In that time, she'd moved with her father to new asgard, hoping to start a life where she would fit in and would get proper care. plus, to her excitement, there was never a dull day (and their king was smokin' so that was fun, always getting flustered when emma was talking to val). what emma hadn't been expecting was to run into peter quill again -- especially since last time they chatted it was a little bit... out of character for him. ❛ i gotta stay recognizable since you promised me you'd take me to see the stars up close again. if you didn't know who i was, you might take some random brunette with an oxygen tank. i have gotten sassier, though, that's changed for the better. ❜

When Auguste said, “Good bye, Roderick. I’m going home to my husband, my kids, their kids. I’m the richest man in the world, do you know that?”
It’s a big slap to Roderick

@herhaunts ;; starter call
" apple? " she wanted it to come out as if she was just offering from the goodness of her heart, for no specific reason. some kind of olive branch of sorts, though the two had nary a word shared between them before. they shared classes together but they didn't exactly run with the same crowds. emma wasn't popular, not in the slightest. she tried talking to the in-crowd but it never moved past her saying hello. but, eating lunch by herself, she noticed things. it was people watching or reading for her, and one thing she noticed day to day was chrissy. the fact she seemed to talk more than she noshed.
maybe it was just that it wasn't peak eating time for athletes, or something. emma was never able to really be athletic to know, but she does know the telltale signs of exhaustion and overexertion. chrissy seemed to fit the bill for most after practices. so, emma decided to break the ice between the two.
" it's not poisoned, i promise. i'm not an evil stepmother nor do i have magic powers. i do have a mean witch cackle, though. "

i hate how when abled people are sick everyone drops everything for them and feels such sympathy but when chronically ill people are sick or flaring up, no one cares because im supposed to be used to it.
