Zane always had the worst timing. He would always call either too early, around eight am, when Luis had barely rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, or around one in the morning, when he was just getting busy with someone. There was no in between with him, and he knew better than to expect some kind of a normal, decent routine with this guy. The door to his apartment swung open, and Luis walked out wearing just a pair of shorts, a cigarette resting behind his ear; messy curles making it hard to notice the tiny stick. There was a girl wearing his shirt in his bed, a girl that probably meant something to someone, but not to him. A girl that should have been on her way out by now, instead Luis was the one to flee the scene, even if it was his apartment. The only one he found himself not running away in his underwear from was Max. And fuck, he didn't need to think about that now.

"Saxena, at least bring me coffee, if we're going to be doing this, this early."

"¿Qué hago aquí?" cuestiona por enésima vez, volviendo a perder los recuerdos de la explicación que le habían dado hace unos minutos debido al impacto que había sufrido en la cabeza. "¿Por qué estoy en el suelo?" eleva la mirada y al ver a la chica esboza una sonrisa picaresca. "Sea cual sea el motivo que me trajo hasta aquí, estoy amando la vista."

Kaj inhaled sharply through his teeth. "Definitely both. I can't complain, though. Keeps me on my feet, and always busy. I can't be still for too long... Makes me crazy." He always needed to be doing something. For a lot of people, the amount of work he had on his plate would be overwhelming, but for Kaj, it was exactly what he needed. "Who needs therapy when you can get poked with needles hundreds of times? I hope to eventually open my own shop here, build it up further. Baby steps, right?" It was a dream he'd had since the beginning of his career as a tattoo artist. He wanted something to call his own, and to show his parents how well he really was doing. At one point, they didn't know if Kaj would even make it off the streets, but now he was building a life for himself. "Hey, I owe you one." He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet, setting the cash on the counter. "Very lucky for me." Taking the bag, he clicked his tongue. "I'll be back. Even if just to get some 'questionable advice'." He put his arm through the handles of the bag, slipping his wallet back into the safety of his pocket. "Legend of Kismet? Now that's a title I could take on."

Zane gave a low laugh, one brow lifting like he was both impressed and vaguely horrified. “Booked out that far? Damn — you weren’t kidding when you said no days off. That’s next-level dedication... or insanity. Maybe both.” He leaned against the edge of the counter again, arms folded casually as he watched the other man make his final picks. “But I respect it. You built something solid. People don’t keep coming back unless you’re doing something right — and yeah, it is therapy. Just with a little more needle buzz and way cooler results.” He grabbed the tape Kaj had set aside and started ringing it up, glancing over with a grin that softened just enough around the edges. “What would you do without me? Probably wander around town with a stiff back and one sad little roll of tape to your name.” He chuckled, bagging the purchase with practiced ease. “But lucky for you, I’m here — sports gear, questionable advice, and unsolicited life perspective, all in one.” He handed over the bag, his smirk settling into something warmer. “Take care of yourself, alright? You can’t keep people walking around with killer ink if you’re the one falling apart.” Then, with a mock-serious nod, he added, “And if you do ever forget to order that tape, I’ll keep a roll or two stashed just in case. Backup for the overbooked legend of Kismet.”

Com o tom urgente no tom de Zane, Patrick fez a primeira coisa que veio a cabeça: obedeceu primeiro e questionou depois. at least he knew that he wasn't going insane. he thought that zane was the defiant type, but getting the verbal confirmation was almost like winning some type of battle. “so either way, you would've gotten my hand wrapped around your throat. either because you wouldn't pay attention or because you were too damn hot.” a breathy chuckle escaped his mouth as he thought about how their interaction had started just moments ago. for once, all of his business calls had been put on hold. hell, he didn't even know on what countertop his phone was in the moment. “you always like challenging your bosses or am i special?”

breathing was no longer an issue. it was something that his nose could take over once he got that type of confirmation. warrick titled his own head as he gave into the kiss. his body was pushing itself forward, no level of closeness would've been too much for him in that moment. his tongue sought out the same answers that his words did, exploring zane's mouth as he pushed it passed his lips. the kiss was heated, passionate, and getting to his head. he couldn't focus on anything else anymore aside from the cook that was on his countertop.

the hotel mongrel never really thought about what life would look like if he settled down for someone. it wasn't that he was thinking about zane and him living together surrounded by a white picket fence either. warrick would much rather just go with the flow and see what the future had in store for them. not forcing anything, but at the same time not running away from anything either. “then let's just enjoy what we have in the now.” as their foreheads rested against one another, his left hand moved over to tug on zane's shirt. just needing something of his to hold onto. 

then he straightened out his back when the challenge reached the surface. a small smirk formed on his face as he thought about it. “i think i have a couple of ways to shut that big mouth of yours up.” to emphasize his point, he leaned forward to steal another quick kiss. then he pulled back again. “so, i don't think we need to confirm anything else for now.”

Zane let out a low laugh, the kind that lingered somewhere between playful and breathless, still reeling from the way Warrick’s words had settled under his skin. “Oh, I absolutely would act like a defiant little bitch,” he said, biting his bottom lip with a wicked sort of grin. “You’d give me an order and I’d pretend like I hadn’t heard a thing—just to see what you’d do about it.” His eyes flicked up toward Warrick’s with challenge, but something much softer burned beneath the surface too, something he couldn’t name just yet. It was overwhelming, how fast things had shifted, but it didn’t feel wrong. It felt magnetic.

Without another word, Zane’s fingers slid into Warrick’s hair, curling tightly at the nape of his neck as he tugged him back in with a surprising kind of hunger. The kiss that followed wasn’t tentative or cautious — it was an answer. Not verbal, but absolutely clear. Zane kissed him like he meant it, like he’d been dying for this, like no amount of teasing or stubbornness could take away the fact that his body wanted more. He tilted his head just right, letting Warrick take as much as he gave, and melted into him like he never planned on pulling away again.

His heart was hammering in his chest, the words soulmate still bouncing around in the back of his mind, but for once, he didn’t feel the urge to overthink it. He didn’t feel the weight of fear or hesitation. He just felt this — the connection, the chemistry, the fucking fire that ignited every time Warrick touched him. When they finally broke the kiss for air, Zane leaned his forehead against the other man’s and let out a shaky breath. “I don’t need strings,” he murmured. He really didn't. He'd take whatever the other gave him. “But I’m not walking away from whatever this is. Not yet.”

A slow smile spread across his lips as he kept one hand tangled in Warrick’s hair, the other trailing down to rest against the man’s waist. “So if you’re game…” he looked up through half-lidded eyes, voice husky and a little teasing, “you better be ready to deal with me being mouthy and yours.”

Kim's had long hair her whole life, and never really wanted to change it. but then one day Lucinda offered to get it cut and dyed for her to 'up her confidence' and honestly she really likes it :3

Travis can shapeshift, he's always been able to but pre-starlight it was just simple things, like changing his hair hiding certain aspects of himself. but after he's able to do a lot more (he just doesn't really like to.)

Dante can dance he does hip hop mainly (NO I AM NOT BIASED!!)
