no one really knew where lucy’s head was when she wasn’t paying attention. she would tell she was usually thinking of space. it would still be a mystery though. because her head was up in the clouds she usually missed what she was doing and that was how she ended back tracking from where she started. she had just gotten a new book on astronauts and was heading home when she saw a familiar face. “winter! winter!” running up to her brother lucy offered him a large grin. “whatcha doing?”

Nathan decided to show up to the club a few minutes early. He wanted to make a good impression and he also wanted to get a feel for the layout. He waited patiently on Winter as he looked around some, tapping his fingers on the table where is application sat. He was actually more excited than nervous, he was so eager to try this out. He was curious how it all ran, what they did, how routines worked and such. He was so excited to learn this part of dancing world and he was certain it showed on his face.

Clyde thought he had been rather kind to give the professor a pass to what she did. Kindness, however, was never taken as the word implied it seemed. Speaking, he was furious as he held the papers in his hands, not even bothering to read the rest of these so-called rules, though for once the guards wouldn't have to drag him along. No, he would take care of this himself. Clyde Foy was not a man to be rented without permission or the slightest hint of a warning.

„Open up, crazypants!!“ He was just a step away from kicking that damn door in as the familiar face eventually appeared. Clyde did not hesitate a second, shaking his head incredulously. „Should have told me you wanted kids and we could have discussed that matter“ Sarcasm graced, no almost drowned, his voice as he screwed the paper up in his hands, tossing the ball right into the neck-line of her shirt. His hands then reached out to grab her hair forcefully. „But to make it crystal clear, love, I am a man grown. You do not get to feed me or put out clothes for me that, by the way, are not even close to my style. You do not get to tell me when I have to be back or when the fuck I go to sleep.“, he threatened relentlessly. „Do me the favor and kindly fuck yourself, professor before I seriously regret not having stabbed you back then. Are we understood?“

While she’d done her best to try and not get close with anyone in Ashcroft, she had to at least be on friendly terms with the other cheerleaders. It was common sense to her to be on good terms, with the people she’d be spending most of her time with – which was what lead to her to walk up to Winter when she spotted the other in the mall. She may not have been able to get a decent read on the other girl, but that didn’t matter. Part of never wanting to be on top meant she knew how to adapt her personality to match who she was talking to. Two-faced yes, but it was the easiest way to get through high school unscathed. “Please tell me you know what stores have cute clothes, because I’ve had no luck so far – and I refuse to leave without buying at least one thing. He had long known he needed to get better at confronting the truth, he just preferred his way of adamantly avoiding it. Whatever truth that may be. “Why don’t you both just move in with me and let me help you with your studio? I mean we’ll probably still have a cleaning lady as I am a lazy piece of shit, but at least we’d get our parents out of the picture.”

Summer rolls her eyes, letting out a quiet laugh. “You’re right, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.” His suggestion caused her brows to knit and a smirk to rise on her lips. “You aren’t serious,” she almost phrases it as a question. It’d been quite a long time since the two shared a household, she wondered just how badly that proposal could turn out down the line. Although, at the prospect of getting rid of their parents, it would become appealing.

Winter’s nose scrunched up just a touch at his car, well meaning in her disapproval. More often than not, she found herself not entirely trusting the old beat up vehicle, but she certainly wasn’t going to say that. He was driving, after all. Slipping into the seat and closing the door after her, the blonde pulled her seatbelt on before she looked towards him, a grin creeping across her face. “Just a random craving. But I don’t know what it is - when it comes to fast food burgers, I don’t like sitting down to eat like twenty. I just want one, and some fries, and then I’m satisfied. That’s why I call White Castle snacking fast food, you know?”

The look she gave his car wasn’t lost on him. And he couldn’t exactly blame her. The car looked like it could hardly even stand up, must less move. But, miraculously it could. “Don’t worry. I promise it won’t explode or anything. He may not look like much, but he’s a reliable old pal.” he chuckled, patting the dashboard before starting the car. “I feel that. We’re here for a full four course meal. Dollar menu style.”
