There was a pleasant warmth, unlike the oppressive heat in Aspal. In the early morning, Oren was startled awake by the sound of chatter and hurried footsteps. For a moment, he tensed, primed to leap out at a sudden attack when he remembered that there was no attack. He was at home, with his family. His shoulders sagged and he stretched languidly in the childhood bed that he slept in when he was younger. His arms brushed against the tawny pillows and rough quilt, meeting nothing but a fading warmth that reminded Oren of you. He sat up, his eyes widening. Any sign of your sleeping form was gone and Oren turned towards the closed door, straining to hear the voices beyond it. It was the first time in months since Oren had come home. His Baba and Adda had insisted that he bring you for a visit and refusing them was harder than fighting against a fierce warrior. Oren had been anxious about you and his fathers meeting. He knew that they would love you, after all, you made Oren smile wider than he ever did before meeting you. But Oren’s family was larger than his parents and younger siblings. His grandparents lived only a few steps away and his uncle and cousins would often visit after their long days on the farm. For as long as Oren could remember, he was always asked about marriage and settling down. He feared that bringing you home, the first person he has ever brought home since Redall meant that you were going to be nagged about the prospects of settling down and examined to see if you would make a good farmer. Dread pooled in the pit of Oren’s stomach and he leapt out of bed, scrambling into his trousers and tunic before he hurried out of his room. Oren paused, your voice soft and light in the early morning. He found you, sitting between his younger brother Caion and his sister, Eilina. They were smiling widely and staring at you with wide eyes, perhaps a little taken by your warmth. You looked up, as if sensing Oren’s gaze and smiled. It was enough to make his stomach knot and unknot, a flutter of heat and longing, coursing through his veins. A flush spread across Oren’s cheeks and he ducked his head, aware that he must look like a fool in love to his younger siblings.

Il nostro grano duro sta spigando ma il suo prezzo è in caduta libera. Una caduta lenta e continua da alcuni mesi che è diventata precipitosa negli ultimi giorni. Ormai il prezzo è tale che, considerati gli aumenti di energia, concimi e costi di produzione vari degli ultimi 2-3 anni, è giusto un po’ superiore al prezzo di costo (sempre che il raccolto non sia rovinato da grandine o gelate o siccità). Ma ahimè temiamo possa cadere ancora. Le cause? Grano (peraltro tenero) che arriva illegalmente dalla Russia e che importato illegalmente attraverso paesi confinanti diventa grano Ue. Ma anche grano ucraino, a prezzi stracciati perché di qualità bassa che passa illegalmente attraverso la Polonia e diventa grano Ue. Che ne pensa il ministro della sovranità alimentare? Il ministro che sta ben attento a vietare l’uso di qualche quintaletto di farina di grilli ma poi dorme quando di tratta di sorvegliare migliaia di tonnellate di grano che ci invadono distruggendo la qualità del nostro Made in Italy e l’economia di un intero comparto. E che ne pensa anche il Governo di sorvegliare sul prezzo dei prodotti derivati visto che con l’attuale prezzo del grano pane, pasta, biscotti dovrebbero decisamente diminuire? Magari sarebbe auspicabile un Brindisi in meno al Vinitaly e un po’ di interesse per i problemi reali dell’agricoltura che fa grande il Made in Italy nel mondo. Grazie!

Trying something new.

Dreams of Daeros. Part one.

According to Nalar historians, this story begins a long time ago. It should be noted that this is not a complete record of galactic history, rather, it is a scene setting for what comes next.

According to the Nalar, the first of their kind were raised on ships. These people were told by their creators to keep a record of everything. They were given language, science, math, and religion. The Nalar were taught that they had an innate ability to sense life energy from solar systems away, giving them a divine duty to find and unite sentient life across the galaxy.

Their creators were called the progenitors, massive beings of psionic might. Descriptions are sparse in Nalar historical texts, but as far as is known, the Progenitors were something like massive scaled gorillas.

Eventually, after the first hundred years of the Nalar's existence, the Progenitors deposited them on a planet they called Aia. The rationale for this decision is unknown, but the suspicion of many historians is that this was in preparation for war with the Arabaeos Mind.

Unfortunately, Aia was vulnerable. So as their gods forsook them, the Nalar were found by a similarly ancient species, the Caion. The Caion resemble large armored slugs. They have no eyes or mouth, they do however possess potent psionic abilities, and used these abilities to enslave the Nalar. Due to the Nalar's ability to sense life, they were vulnerable to psionic effects, as their minds were only capable of this power due to a local of psionic shielding.

The Caion desired nothing but food. Using the Nalar's lifesense, they navigated to planet after planet, devouring the biomass of each.

It was not for fifty thousand years that the Nalar would be free. When a rebel leader known as Alber Karst lead them to victory, claiming their independence, their freedom, and some Caion FTL technology.

Then, almost one hundred thousand years later, humanity was found on the planet Dein, and joined an alliance of worlds containing the Nalar as well as several other sentient species.

Our story however starts much later, in the third year of the galactic civil war.

Later I shall share more of this with you. But for now I must sleep.

Caion đã tỏa sáng khi ghi hattrick cho đội đại diện thủ đô, trong khi bàn danh dự của Thanh Hóa được thực hiện bởi Bruno Cantanhede. Như vậy, sau những trận đấu gần đây, cuộc đua vô địch chỉ còn xoay quanh CAHN và CLB Hà Nội.

Hiện tại, Đoàn Văn Hậu cùng đồng đội đang dẫn đầu bảng xếp hạng với 37 điểm, hơn CLB Hà Nội ở vị trí thứ hai đúng 2 điểm. Trận đấu cuối cùng, CAHN sẽ tiếp đón Thanh Hóa trong khi Hà Nội đối đầu Viettel. Hai trận này sẽ diễn ra vào lúc 17h00 ngày 27/08.

Trong trường hợp CAHN giành chiến thắng trước Thanh Hóa, họ sẽ vươn lên độc chiếm ngôi vô địch. Ngược lại, nếu hòa hoặc thua, họ vẫn có thể giành ngôi vô địch nếu CLB Hà Nội không thể đánh bại Viettel. Nếu trận đấu giữa CAHN và Thanh Hóa hòa và CLB Hà Nội thắng, cả hai đội sẽ có cùng 38 điểm. Lúc này, người chiến thắng sẽ được xác định dựa trên hiệu số bàn thắng thua.

Hiện tại, CAHN đang sở hữu hiệu số bàn thắng thua +18, trong khi thành tích của CLB Hà Nội là +12. Trong tình huống CAHN thất bại và Hà Nội giành chiến thắng, ngôi vô địch sẽ thuộc về Nguyễn Văn Quyết và đồng đội. Hiển nhiên, đội bóng dưới sự dẫn dắt của HLV Flavio Cruz hiện đang ở vị trí thuận lợi. Mọi việc còn phải đặt vào cuộc trở thành người chiến thắng hoặc nỗi tiếc nuối. Đồng thời, hai trận đấu còn lại trong vòng cuối của nhóm vô địch là Nam Định tiếp đón Hà Tĩnh và Bình Định làm khách của Hải Phòng, cũng sẽ góp phần quyết định chặng đua này.
