THANK YOU for explaining the Louis/Armand fight with such clarity. Like obviously Armand has the ultimate power over the relationships here and the way he behaves in this episode is world class terrible, we can all see that, but I feel like I've been going crazy when people are softening Louis's words as light banter while Armand responding somewhat in kind is framed as malicious suicide baiting.
It's not my take but I would understand if people were approaching this as "Armand sucks so bad and technically can leave whenever so I give 0 fucks what Louis does or says to him," but "Louis was just being mean" doesn't track for me. He is at this point in his life using regularly enough that Armand's first response when he gets vicious is a bitter "here comes the drugs." He's used to this. Addiction is a complicated and terrible disease but Louis is Armand's partner, for whatever reason, apparently (big caveat) of his own volition and he responds to Armand being upset about his cycle of risky drug use and insincere apologies with a "you're boring and smothering" speech before turning on a dime to "cringe of you to be a victimized. it's given you a real victim mentality" when Armand says he's boring too. It's legitimately reprehensible behaviour! And that's fine. I will continue making heart eyes at him whenever he appears on screen undeterred.
forgetting which of the OCs are lesbians and which are bisexual because the insane dykery and problematic sexuality is so strong in all of them. hashtag feminism.
he did the best possible thing. literally everyone that matters was in danger; kazuki, rei and miri were in danger and even kyu-chan himself was in danger. if he refused to comply and give the information he’d be a traitor and we saw what happened to traitors. if he would give the information he would betray kazuki and rei and also put them in danger.
he found a third way, one that involved keeping everyone safe. he was right when he said the family they created was an illusion. in the end rei’s past would have caught up with him or another tragedy could befall them again like what happened to kazuki before. there is no place for a family in their line of work and kyu-chan told them that numerous times.
next episode we’ll see their real plan, maybe the writers tricked us or maybe they really decided to leave miri for her safety. both of these options are plausible, although i think an episode where we see their lives turn upside down again (but this time in a different way) because of miri will be really interesting to see. although sad :(
anyway kyu-chan really did the best he could and kazuki and rei both know that. in the end miri matters most to them and they can’t afford to be selfish and keep her around just because they want to.
Megatron has no money and Rodimus has assets he collected as a semi-professional sugar baby. Rodimus getting offended by lack of interior decoration in Megatron's room and lack of things or creature comforts post jump he somehow accidentally stumbles into being Megatron's Sugar Daddy which leaves Megatron to seek the advice of Ratchet (Drift's trophy husband) on how to handle this.
Which is unfortunately useless as Ratchet didn't realize he was a trophy husband/sugar baby until Megatron pointed out it and Drift's obscene wealth.
We just love Sugar Baby!Megatron don't we, and ohh nooo the realization hit Ratchet like a flashbang lol
Now we've got a Ratty who's just. Questioning everything and leaving Megatron adviceless. Part of me wants to direct him to sugar baby forums but he also has no goddamn idea how to use said forum
