"i was never invited to parties often so, i kind of panicked, was trying so hard to impress him, dolled myself up to the heavens, plucked n shaved n slathered mascara on me, he said "You look pretty, but, is that what ya want?" and boy i was stupefied. he was right."
"- he saw right through me, told me "You know, i like you when youre big and bold, you shine so bright Cappy" hook line and sinker, that was all i needed, for him to tell me that he liked me without all this dumb shit on me, just be me."

THE BIZZYBOYS BLOCK YOUR PATH!
(link to the other part of these!)
got an ask about their fight in a continuation of the OFF-styled ones i did before, and i'd been procrastinating these for a while, so i finally got around to finishing them!! boss fight thoughts below the cut! :-]
this might be a little rambly so apologies in advance!!!
so to start with, i feel like it would be shortly before the Inspekta fight as sort of a miniboss - none of the bizzyboys on their own have a ton of health, but its a 6v1, so the difficulty comes in from that! with direction from Capochin, they're more organized, and if he's defeated, they're able to do more specialized attacks, but they're more scattered in turn order/lacking the previous flow to the fight, making it more clear which ones need to be defeated sooner than others
here's some ideas for each bizzy on their own:
Capochin (Bizzy Captain): potentially able to use a "rally" attack to bring back fallen bizzyboys, uses his turns when they're all up to make one of them do an extra attack - doesn't do all that much attacking, himself, but you'd wanna get rid of him first to keep the bizzyboys that you've already defeated down
Grujaja (Bizzy Brute): with Capochin still active, he's got a moderate attack recharge, and deals some pretty heavy damage, inflicting Palsied as a sort of "knockback" from each hit / when Capochin goes down, he still deals as much damage, but takes a significantly longer time to charge attacks, and has lower accuracy
Patty (Bizzy Defective): "defective" in the sense that she doesn't want to fight you and, when Capochin goes down, the fast but light-damage-dealing attacks almost entirely stop, save for reactive attacks when she's dealt damage
Bananathaniel (Bizzy Chatterbox): STATUS EFFECTS FOREVER!!! he's sort of the support of the two "casters" of sorts, boosting bizzyboy stats and giving them Hasty, while rarely doing anything to the enemies directly (if there's no other bizzyboys, he might have a low-damage attack, but i'm not certain on that one)
Alexei (Bizzy Glutton): moderate to heavy damage, occasionally healing himself from a snack-break turn! when Capochin goes down, he'll do a lot less attacking and a lot more healing, which makes him hard to take down, but easy to avoid damage from
Vibiano (Bizzy Couturier): the other "caster" of the group, but specializing in afflicting the enemy with status effects - Blinded, Madness, Poisoned, and Asleep are the main ones among those! similarly to Bananathaniel, when there's no other bizzyboys left, he has an attack, which is just slightly higher damage than Ban's, but a fair bit slower to use
ANYWAYS that's all i got!! i might find some excuses to do more art for this (idk if it qualifies as an AU at this point, i haven't thought about how it'd go plot-wise!), but thank you again for asking, anon, i love thinking about this stuff!!

Proscenium Phantasm Au post:
Been working on a few different things, but while I'm at it I wanted to share my take on Inspekta. GGG Spoilers (and body horror) under the cut!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Bizzymart Team!! (Other than Patty, I haven't yet decided where the other Bizzyboys fall in the story) Believe it or not this is my first time drawing Hector.
Hector is the CEO of the small chain of stores, Capochin is the Manager of their Flagship store. While being rather accomplished, Hector yearns for importance in his life. He feels like he isn't enough and fears being a forgotten nobody.
After Thespius ascends, Hector catches word via Patty's discussions with Grujaja on the clock. He steals the book Thespius wrote and left behind, using it to try to write a ritual of his own in order to ascend to Godhood.
He does...but he makes a grave error.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You see, Thespius survived because Curtains was able to give him the support he needed. King (post this incident) has Mother Mitternacht to balance her out and shield her from the worst.
Hector appears in a void with no Gods to stifle the flow. The influx of information tears him apart and hollows him out, stripping him of thought. He becomes the God of Consequence, reaping his own, and suffering before the other Gods realize and run to his aid. Only with their help are they able to reinstate sanity and awareness...but before that point he's much like a wild animal, lashing out in pain and fear.

Helloooooo hi there! I am very curious about your “everything is fucked forever” au. I saw the Cobigail drawing you did. And would like to humbly ask for details if that’s cool :3
In the mood for some angst tonight >:3
THE TL:DR OF THE AU IS LIKE… the Rift didn’t end up getting fully closed at the end of the game (and, currently, King is the only thing keeping it from tearing the sky fully open- she didn’t get to ascend properly how she did ingame but she jumped in and became a god anyways in a last ditch effort to stop the Rift from tearing the sky apart) and all of that like scary god energy flowing out of the rift and into the mortal world, while making to so the Gods can freely roam the mortal plane without having to, say, shapeshift significantly, also is sort of REALLY messing with the Gods’ heads and forms. In a basic sense, it’s making them a lot more powerful- but also a lot more disconnected from their prior humanity. They often behave in ways that seem like, unpredictable or animalistic to an outsider- but to them everything is perfectly rationalized in their heads. Like. They’re gods! They think and act in ways mortals couldn’t understand.
All of that Rift energy getting to their heads have lead some gods to sort of isolate themselves, while others are a lot more active and vigilant with their newfound ability to roam the mortal plane freely- Inspekta (who I lovingly call in this au ‘the nefarious lighthouse’) fiercely guards the Cove and anything he considers a Bizzyboy from any outsiders, for example.
Cobigail in particular has been pretty negatively affected by this whole deal- all of that Rift junk is messing up her head, clouding and jumbling up her memories. Not to mention how hungry she is… there’s lots of warnings not to enter Milldread unless you have extra rations to give to the God, or music to calm and placate her- unless you want to end up as her next meal. Her community is everything to her- so she fiercely guards the citizens of Milldread and gives them most of the real food she finds, delegating herself to only living off of the scraps and any outsiders that stumble into Milldread. She’s noooot having a good time :(
Basically. Everything’s fucked forever (though in the au the Bizzyboys ARE actually trying to fix it. Just… being actively hindered by The Nefarious Lighthouse.)
I’ve mostly been developing this au through chatting and rping w/ some of my friends which has lead to a couple of doodles based off of what we’ve written! Including Iconic Capochin Lump
Tumblr media
And Don’t Worry, Patty’s Fine (she really is, she brought extra rations to give to Cobi. She was passing through Milldread to reach Hobbyhoo in order to speak to Thespius, who’s the only God relatively unaffected by the Rift Open Fiasco)

An offer you can’t turn down?
A 1,018 word fic that’s 95% monologue and 5% dialogue. I won’t let Capo and Hector have a break lol.
He found himself staring off the edge of the cliff of grove cove. Pink waters flowed in paths around the islands and dipped into tall waterfalls that led to the ocean below. The sounds of the crashing water almost completely drowned out the sounds of the bizzyboys playing volleyball behind him.
He pulled a cigarette from his pocket and with a few tries with his lighter, he had it lit in his mouth. The salty air drifted the smoke away after every draw. He always appreciated every bit of down time while he was on the clock.
Things are different now. Almost a month ago, the world almost ended. Inspekta fell from godhood and became human again. Everything seemed to change in one day.
“Heya capo!” A familiar voice called from behind- no, Nostalgic was a better word instead of familiar.
Capochin turned to face Inspek- wrong name, he turned to face Hector. His voice was different compared to when he was a god. It was older but still sounded the exact same when he ascended 33 years ago. Like hearing an old song from your childhood that brought back so many memories.
He still looked the same too. His dark blue curly hair that fell over his shoulders, A red and yellow sweater that was tucked into his pants, And A black button nose below his big red glasses. Other than some new wrinkles that decorated his face he looked the exact same way he did the day he became a god.
…The day he became Inspekta
“Yeah?” Capochin replied gruffly. It was so weird having Hector back. He wasn’t used to his boss being able to just walk up to him. A part of him missed the days where he chose when to see him.
“We’re all a getin shaboingboings.” Hector gestured over a nearby hotdog stand. But the way he said it was off. It was a command- an order- a demand. Not a question, but a fact.
A month ago, Capochin would have never batted an eye to his words. A devoted follower of the “one and only god” would never question his leader. He did whatever he said like how he was meant to. Workers answer to the boss and do as they’re told.
He has been there since day one. His first follower to bow to his feet. To hang on his every word. To be the god he prayed to when he felt his lowest and the god he thanked when he felt his highest. 33 years of pure loyalty to his eldest friend.
The way he cooked for him his favorite meal, burgers with tomato, lettuce, pickles, and steak. The meat was personal. A perfect representation of him giving himself up for his god. And he did it every day for him.
He’d watch inspekta take the first bite, and swoon when the flavor hit his tongue. His heart would skip a beat just by the look on his face.
He loves it
He loves me
He’d go to the end of the earth for his god. He’d destroy the world for his god. Rule over everyone with his one and only god. Then will they be equal, Side by side, together
“Nah” Capochin turned away, back to the ocean, and took a breath from his cigarette.
“What?” Hector faltered “but-“
“I’m not going” he deadpanned
All of that was 33 years ago. On his knees begging for something- ANYTHING more than praise. Give him an inch of respect and I’d feel like a yard- no, a mile!
And nothing
For 3 decades, treated like his dog. ‘Capo, deliver this letter!’ “Capo, put up more poy-sters!” “Capo, more burgies!” Capochin didn’t even sound like a name anymore when you toss it around like that.
It’s not even his real name. a name earned through accomplishments, how many letters were there now? Yet a name he clung on to with every fiber of his being. It was his worth
Everything he was worth to inspekta
But he’s gone now.
“But why not?” Hector challenged, his words had a layer of confusion to cover hostility
What? Not used to him saying no?
“Cuz I don’t want too” he said with a shrug
But he did want to. So so badly. A terrible force of habit. He was the god of leadership for a reason. His voice really was like a melody that you couldn’t help but get lost in.
That song was stuck in his head for 33 cobdanm years. This earworm told him to end the world and he danced along to the rhythm. Like a good little dog who only answered to his master
But he was tired of being his bitch
“And I don’t got to, if I don’t want to.” Capochin finished
Hector paused, he knew this ran deeper than not wanting hotdogs. “Capochin…” he held onto his own tail “I’m sorry.”
He didn’t answer
“I know I put yew threw a lot for a long time. And it’s just… I’m so, so sorry for what I did.” He began wringing his tail in his hands “but, fwom human to human, let’s just hang out! Like old times!”
Capochin took a drag “I appreciate the sentiment…” he took the used up cigarette from his mouth and stamped it out on the ground “but I don’t forgive you, and I don’t think I ever will.”
That hurts to admit. Would he really never? Not today at least. Too many raw feelings to stuff down. Jealousy, hatred, stress, admiration… love? There was no way to fit all that junk into a neat box. You Have to wait for it to cook down before it could fit.
“Oh… okay. Sorry for botherin’ yew.” He choked. With his tail still clutched in his hands, he turned and began walking away.
Capochin looked back and yelled “AND PUT YOUR TAIL DOWN! You want even more bandages?!”
“No sir!” Hector dropped his tail as he called back and hastily returned to the bizzyboys.
Even after all those years, he still couldn’t help but care.
