Barbie as a caregiver!! (Barbie x gn!reader)

A/n - there may be a fanfic in the near future!! Idk I just need some confidence since this is my first time posting something like this on Tumblr, ever!!

Warnings: age regressor reader, unhappy regression (if you squint), mostly fluff, goes against cannon (in the sense that Gloria's Barbie is implied to be a different Barbie than the stereotypical one and that Barbie stays a Barbie and doesn't become human)

-♡ when you get scared there’s so much reassurance! 

-♡ “nono baby you aren’t going to die! It just means that you’re so very beautiful”

-♡ you’re her spoiled baby. Anything you want, you get. Or if you're feeling shy, she will buy you anything you look at. You can't escape her love language of gift giving

-♡ “No honey, you're royalty to me! Let me get you the plushie!”

-♡ Barbieland ADORES you!! Barbie can never get enough of showing you off when she takes you there!

-♡ “Oh them? No, we’re nothing special, they’re just, you know, my baby!”

-♡ Gloria loves babysitting you because she gets to play with her old Barbies again! (just without the death part)

-♡ She found out about your regression because you started playing with her again and she felt a pull to be with you, almost like the reason you were playing with her again was less than happy.

-♡ She went to weird Barbie who brought up the possibility of regression and being the Barbie she is, researched everything about it to make sure she wasn't unprepared in the real world!

-♡ Barbie takes you on lil playdates to Barbieland because she knows that you have a life in the real world

-♡ If you do want to stay in Barbie land though, she would be ecstatic! She loved the thought of her doll staying where every doll stayed!

Barbie cg headcanons!

💗She's the type of caregiver to make schedules. She finds it easier to take care of you when she has the activities planned, food prepared, and naps calculated. However, the schedule is very flexible, and can change depending on how you feel.💗

💗She LOOVES dressing you up! Picking your outfit, asking you what you think, zipping up your zippers, tying your shoes and helping you put everything on. While doing so, she always tells you how beautiful and perfect you look, praising every little detail. Your closet's filled with clothes she gifted you, and she gasps every time you do a spin for her in your outfit for the day.💗

💗When you got a little flu for the first time she totally freaked out. She's never seen anyone sick before! She was so, so worried! She had to call Gloria so she could explain what's going on and how she could take care of you. She was the most gentle and careful she's ever been, putting her palm on your forehead to check your temperature and bribing you with candy so you'll actually take your meds.💗

💗 When you're big, you struggle with eating and sleeping properly. It kinda breaks her heart, seeing a human person like that, so she uses every second of your littlespace to make sure your needs are fullfilled. She praises you for every meal you finish, and is very against pushing your bedtime further, though sometimes she caves in, for example to finish a movie with you. If that happens, you usually fall asleep right in her arms, and she follows you right after.💗

💗Everything you tell and show her she finds fascinating. A cool bug/worm? She thinks it's adorable. If you give her a drawing, she admires every small detail, and she makes sure to remember every one of your stuffie's names and all of your favorite cartoon characters? Even if you're just babbling, she's listening like it's the most important thing in the world.💗

As a Caregiver:

Thanks to his staff, it’s easy to shrink you down to a more childish size. He does this fairly often, just because he likes to see how excited you get.

He can also use his staff to conjure up fun toys or tasty treats for you.

When you play together, and especially when your games are competitive, he intentionally “underestimates” you so that you get to be the victor.

Parthenia is a fantastic and bizarre place, and he loves to take you out exploring.

He’s amazing at coming up with poems on the fly, and often recites some specially for you. “Little child, sweet and dear, I’ll make sure you have nothing to fear.”

As a Regressor

He is a super demanding kiddo. He wants everything, and he wants it now!

He turns the soldiers who disappoint him into wooden toys and spends hours staging battles with them.

One of his favorite things to do while regressed is read, but he hates stories with happy endings. Give him a book with a dark twist any day!

He still likes exploring while regressed, but only places near the castle. Too much walking makes him fussy.

He absolutely loves to harass Pimm, and constantly comes up with new ways to annoy the bat.
