"What are we doing in here?" Ice bear whispered.

"Shh, you'll see." She hastily began tugging at her clothes.

Ice bear sat down on the end of Grizz's bed as Grizz stared wide eyed at him.

Ice bear shook his head, feeling tears welling up in his eyes. Before he could stop them, they began cascading down his furry cheeks and Grizz grew even more worried.

"Oh...Hey bud, do you want a hug?" Grizz asked with uneasiness in his tone but before he even finished he felt a slim body slam into his and he wrapped his arms around the smaller figure and felt Ice bears head rest on his shoulder.

Grizz could hardly bare to hear the little sniffles. He rubbed circles onto his back, hoping it was comforting. Over time his younger brothers crying grew silent and Grizz finally pulled away, looking over his brothers shameful face.

"Are you okay?" Grizz asked quietly, trying not to set him off again.

Ice bear shook his head. Grizz panicked silently, this had never happened before. He knew what to do for Panda, but for little bro?

He looked into Ice bear's teary eyes and took his paw, "Come on, bud. Let's go get some water." Ice bear followed behind him as Grizz led him to the kitchen.

Ice bear managed to get a cup of water down.

"Do you wanna sleep in my room tonight in case something happens?" Grizz asked, expecting a no, but was surprised when Ice bear nodded slowly.

Grizz began walking back to his room but felt a paw wrap around his and he looked back to see his younger brother. He looked so small, so innocent.

Grizz couldn't help but see him as a cub again. Grizz gave him a reasuring smile and held his hand tightly as they made their way to Grizz's bedroom together.

"Alright then, if you need anything else just give me a nudge." Grizz said gently, getting into bed and letting out a small sigh of relief when he felt Ice bear cuddle up next to him.

He seemed so vulnerable, so innocent, so...small. It was almost as if- Oh. This was one of those rare occasions when his younger brother turned into his baby brother.

It wasn't often this happened so Grizz promised he'd make his baby brother feel little and happy by any means neccisary.

Grizz awoke to the sound of crying. His heart skipped a beat and he turned over to his side to see his baby brother curled up into a ball facing away from him and shaking. It scared Grizz to see how quickly his usually stoic brother turned into a little sniffling cub. It made Grizz wonder what had happened to make Ice bears walls come down that fast. He'd never seen this side of him. Grizz's insticts kicked in and he quickly went to touch Ice bears shoulder but flinched away when Ice bear jolted from the touch and spiraled into deeper sobs.

Grizz pulled his paw towards himself and searched his mind for something that could help his baby brother. His eyes lit up when he thought about the "baby box" he made for his baby brother when he first learned about his regression.

Ice bear was embarrassed at first when he first learned about it.

"Ice bear doesn't need all that..." He had insisted.

But Grizz knew it would help him some day. And today was that day.

Grizz gave his baby brother one last look before digging under his bed until his paw hit a cardboard box. He pulled it out from under the bed with haist and set dumped out its contents on top of the matress. Ice bear turned and looked at all the stuff with a small sniffle. His cheeks grew slightly red, but the crying stopped.

"I...I thought you might want this." Grizz explained shyly.

Ice bears eyes skimmed over the stuff in awe before his eyes stopped at a familiar penguin pacifier. His paw shakily reached out to pick up the paci and looked up at Grizz.

"Go ahead." Grizz encouraged gently.

Ice bears walls came crashing down and he let his pride go, putting the paci in his mouth and breathing a sigh of relief from the comfort he found in it.

Grizz let Ice bear take the time he needed to calm down and just sit with the paci. Eventually, Ice bear managed to get out of his own head and look up at Grizz with teary innocent eyes.

"Hey buddy...you wanna sleep some more?" Grizz asked.

Ice bear sat and stared for a while until he reached for something in the assortment of little gear. He pulled out a hardcover book titled "Photography of the Arctic" and his eyes sparked with excitement and he showed the book to Grizz.

"Oh, do you wanna look at it before bed?" Grizz asked, greatful that he was able to make his baby brother think about something other than the thing that was troubling him.

Ice bear nodded again before handing the book to Grizz and curling up next to him. Grizz opened the book and Ice bear was immediately put into a trance as he gazed at the pictures in awe.

Grizz enjoyed the book, not only because the pictures were beautiful, but his baby brothers reactions to them were priceless. He loved watching his eyes light up whenever he turned the page to see the next image. Before Grizz knew it, he'd turned the last page.

He looked back over to Ice bear to ask if he was sleepy yet before seeing that he'd already dozed off. It was a precious scene, Ice bears head had been resting on Grizz's shoulder as he gently sucked on the paci. Grizz observed with a soft smile, noticing every amazing detail about his baby brother, adoring him. He eventually noticed the way Ice bears arms were places, instictively reaching out to hold something.

Grizz looked to the pile of little gear at the foot of his bed, searching for a stuffie. His eyes soon landed on the raggedy seal plushie Panda had gotten for Ice bear when they'd learned of his regression.

It wasn't the prettiest stuffie, but Ice bear had showed so much love and care for the seal that he made it seem like the most valuble item that could ever be owned. Grizz made a grab for it, picking it up with the two of his feet, afraid to disturb Ice bear. The seal soon made the journey to Ice bears arms and he held it tightly.

Grizz let out a litte sigh of relief, wrapping his own arms loosely around Ice bear. All of his worries and pain melted away as he held his baby brother, and he soon drifted off to sleep with a content smile on his face.

rainy dawn and also raindrops rolling from my eyes. life could be a little better if I had some money. I couldn't talk to alan again, but I guess there's no harm cause he found peace. To level this out, he indulges himself in weekend-long hibernations; it’s impossible to drag Grizz out of bed if he’s decided to waste a day binge-watching viral videos and eating the entirety of his pantry. Grizz takes his role as a protector quite seriously, he’s the guy that won’t hesitate to put himself in harm’s or blame’s way if it means giving someone he cares about a way out of trouble.

Welcome to the coast…

Gerardo can’t remember where he came from, but he does remember spending his earlier years growing up in an orphanage in Portland alongside two other toddlers named Pengfei and Isaac. The three boys, being the youngest at the orphanage, spent all of their time together and getting in ridiculous situations was something their caregivers would have to be on the lookout for on a daily basis. In a ploy to distract them one lazy Sunday afternoon, one of the volunteers handed them a book about bears, unaware of the bond it would create between the boys. After reading every piece of information they could get their small hands on, they decided to forgo their given names and just call each other by their favorite– and most fitting, bear. The years went by and they truly became brothers, though this proved to be a setback for any of them to get adopted, given their utter reluctance to go with any family unless the three of them went together. Grizz was ten when the right couple did come along: Karla and Charlie Bjorn.  Life for Grizz always went as planned– it goes without saying that in this case there was never any plan and his natural improvisation skills always came in handy. Though they had tried to go their separate ways once they began college, Grizz and his little bros found sharing an apartment was the only way they could cover their expenses. Despite all the ups and downs, there’s not a day that goes by where Grizz isn’t elated to know he’ll always have someone to talk to at the end of the day.

Stay a while…

Winning a one-way trip to a random destination was precisely what Gerardo would call a vacation. When he submitted his prank video to the contest platform he really wasn’t expecting to win, but boy did it feel awesome when he got that sweet, sweet congratulations email the very next week. Choosing a place to travel to and packing his bags to leave on the first airplane was the easy part, the real challenge came in the form of convincing his brothers to tag along–– no questions asked and especially not any about how and when they’d get back home. Long story short, it’s been a little over a month that the brothers have been in town and it doesn’t seem like any of them are in any particular hurry to leave soon.

Tickle, agere, extra/random hcs

Tickle headcanons

- He's very touch sensitive and hates being touched unless its by someone he's extremely close to, so only his brothers (and chloe at times) are allowed to touch him so therefore only they can attempt to tickle him

- His brothers have tickle fights all the time! Well...they're more onesided because of ice bear. he absolutely destroys his brothers in tickle fights because of how agile he is, not to mention his brothers are all nerves and hes only ticklish in a select few places.

- ice bear simply does not allow tickling in public. He won't let himself be ticklish if his guard is up but if hes relaxed with close friends he'll accept the touch and he might huff out a couple giggles if your lucky

- Chloe and ice bear hang out every sunday, and ice bear does tend to get playful with chloe resulting in a couple tickle fights. very one sided. although chloe tries her best, nothing is more powerful than a polar bear trying not to get tickled by a 10 year old girl.

- He's not a very teasy ler, he gets straight to business and likes to listen to the lee's laughter

Part of a ficlet i wanna write abt that, "Chloe showed the plushy duck she'd purchased and Ice bear huffed out a small laugh as his cheeks flushed."

- Chloe isn't a care giver for him, but likes to hang out with Ice bear when he's small anyways. She thinks he's really cute and likes to imagine this is what he was like when he was a baby.

- Chloe's right, Ice bear is nearly exactly like when he was a kid just a bit more...baby.

- Grizz and Panda sometimes sing Ice bear some Russian lullabyes to make him smile because they always trip over the Russian words

- Refuses to go anywhere while smol out of embarrassment

- Loves playing pretend and is a very creative kiddo and loves making up stories and drawing

- He doesn't regress very often due to his multiple jobs around the house and only is small when everything is taken care of

- Things that make him slip are being cooked for, read to, being held, and just little actions of love. no words. words make him nervous.

- Panda and Grizz found out about his regression relatively sooner than you'd think, they know him a little too well

- Panda was very quick to understand and told Ice bear about his friends who were littles and that it was completely okay and normal

- Grizz was excited when he'd learned. maybe a bit too excited. He loved the idea of having a baby brother to look after again and would do literally anything for Ice bear

- Ice bear is extremely embarrassed to use paci's or bottles and would rather just cuddle up on the couch with a big fluffy blanket and a small inconspicuous stuffie

- Ice bear can quickly come out of little space if needed, but on some occasions he can be...very stuck. His brothers don't believe in forcing him out of his little space, if he's little for a little longer than usual than he must need it

- Normally he's only small for an afternoon every month but on some rare occasions he's also little in the morning

- His favorite food to have while he's smol is sweets but he doesn't get them too often, he cannot handle sugar very well and gets some pretty crazy sugar rushes. Like he's buzzing, quaking, because of the pent up energy

- He LOVES going outside and playing in the snow! He's smiling and giggling and making little dens in the snow. Panda and Grizz don't get the appeal, and stand there trying not to freeze

- He doesn't exactly need cg's but his brothers love to take care of him so he accepts their help to make them happy

- He does indeed have a nap time. which is whenever he gets sleepy. (he's always sleepy)

- Normally he's the cg for literally everyone so it's really weird when the roles are switched but the change is appreciated

Random headcanons

- Ice bear is afraid of heights, he'll deal with heights if he has too but he really doesn't like them

- He definitely had an imaginary friend as a kid and played pretend

- He finds back scratchies very comforting

- Loves hugs but too shy to admit it

- Loud crowded places trigger him

- Doesn't do well with new situations or new people

- Winter is his favorite season because of the snow and how comforting it is

- He talks in the 3rd person because he picked it up from Yuri

- Likes doing that thing kids do when they take your phone to look at filters and take a bunch of pictures

- He is not a force to be reckoned with on April fools day. He won't prank anyone unless he's pranked first, then he goes crazy with pranks and makes them regret existing near them

- The only two things that make him laugh are his brothers and maybee tickling:P

- Never ever gets sick, he's only gotten sick 6 times throughout his whole life and most of the times were when he was a cub

- Totally babies everyone he likes (Chloe, Panda, Grizz, ect..)

- Chloe made a playlist for Ice bear and he listens to it while doing literally anything and his brothers tease him about it since theres really bubbly songs on there

- He couldn't speak english very well and pretty much only knew Russian so he didn't really speak until he was around Panda and Grizz enough to the point where he understood a little better how to pronounce certain words

- Really liked paci's as a cub, in picture albums he often has one

After thinking about it I decided to answer this one for Muta, just cause I feel like the questions are better for him!

(The following S/I is a Kitten regressor, and only regresses when at the Cat Bureau while shrunk down to cat size, like what happens to Haru in the movie)

🐈- Do they have any toys they like to play with you while you're regressed?

Muta has a handful of cat toys I bought him that he never plays with, typical mouse, feathers on stick, string, ball that rattles, normal dollar store pet toys.

When I'm regressed he stands up and plays with them, him as a person and me as the kitten. I guess he thinks they're childish fkgjkdfd

He started doing this because I use to bat at his tail when little.

🐯- What would your ideal day with your fictional caregiver look like?

Go to the Bureau, eat Toto's yummy sponge cake with mulberries and whipped cream, be read aloud to by the Baron, play with my kitty kitty toys, take a loooong nap in the sun on top of Muta, eat more cake with tea, and go back to sleep~

🦝- What are they like as a caregiver?

A lot of people would say Baron or even Toto would be better.. And they're kiiiinda right.

Baron's nice and patient, he's calm and a gifted improviser. He can run with most anything a little could throw at him and never seem phased by it. He can play, or sit quietly and color or read. He'd adaptable, and will do anything to please.

Toto's fun, he can keep up with an active little, play games upon games upon games without tiring. He always has a snack at the ready and is very good at soothing an owie all the rough playing caused.

Muta's grumpy, sharp tongued and loves to complain. He doesn't want to chase a baby around, he doesn't want to clean up messes and kiss booboos. He doesn't want to baby talk and coo and ooh and aah all over a little.

But I love Muta very much, and he does things for me he wouldn't do for anyone else because he loves me too. He's not a perfect caregiver, he panics easy and gets tired when I'm too much. He doesn't always fulfill my every desire, truth be told he's a lot more likely to try to talk me into laying down with him, but he is always there.

He didn't get it, but he learned. He's not perfect, but he's trying. If it's part of me, then it's a part he loves and will do his best to engage with, because he loves all of me.

Introducing Isaac “Ice” Bjorn. He is a Tourist that is staying at the Wild District. He’s 28 years old and strongly resembles Daniel Kaluuya. He’s open.

Get to know him…

Being the youngest, Ice has supported both his older brothers in all of their crazy endeavors. He’s a fixer and caretaker that doesn’t like to call attention to himself; even if his brothers are too distracted to realize it, Isaac’s always the one on the lookout for any mishaps that might get in their way. Isaac is someone that enjoys being home and taking care of his living space; growing up he took an interest in helping his mom do chores around the house and he’s got a natural talent for cooking just about anything. Though he’s extremely reserved and is not one to ever start a conversation with new people, it’s easy to see that Ice has one of the warmest hearts; he’s a kind and intelligent man that’s hard to get to know but so easy to love and trust.

Welcome to the coast…

Isaac can’t remember where he came from, but he does remember spending his earlier years growing up in an orphanage in Portland alongside two other toddlers named Gerardo and Pengfei. The three boys, being the youngest at the orphanage, spent all of their time together and getting in ridiculous situations was something their caregivers would have to be on the lookout for on a daily basis. In a ploy to distract them one lazy Sunday afternoon, one of the volunteers handed them a book about bears, unaware of the bond it would create between the boys. After reading every piece of information they could get their small hands on, they decided to forgo their given names and just call each other by their favorite– and most fitting, bear. The years went by and they truly became brothers, though this proved to be a setback for any of them to get adopted, given their utter reluctance to go with any family unless the three of them went together. Ice was nine when the right couple did come along: Karla and Charlie Bjorn.  Ice has sailed though every day life without making much of a commotion, always a rare occurrence for him to loose his temper– except for that one time his new cooking knife set had ended up as a casualty in one of Grizz’s pranks. When college came around, Isaac didn’t give much mind to how things would change, when the three brothers ended up sharing an apartment in order to cover their expenses, he was glad he didn’t lose any sleep over what ifs. Ice has always been the old soul of the group, and as the years have come and gone, he’s pretty good with being the constant.

Stay a while…

Winning a one-way trip to a random destination was precisely what Ice would refer to as I guess this is what we’re doing now, cool. When Grizz broke the news, Isaac just started packing up the food that’d help them survive the travel; he always had a made bag with all the essentials tucked away in his closet, just in case. Weirdly enough, he felt intrigued about the journey, wondering just what new things they’d get to discover. Ice let himself enjoy the slow descent into leisure, into madness, and into the unknown–– no questions asked and especially not any about how and when they’d get back home. Long story short, it’s been a little over a month that the brothers have been in town and it doesn’t seem like any of them are in any particular hurry to leave soon.

Connections:

Gerardo & Pengfei Bjorn (Brothers): They mean the world to him; he might not be as affectionate nor vocal about it, but Ice is always looking out for them with his actions. He’s the one that takes the most time to do things on his own, but never hesitates to join them.

Chloe Park (Best Friend): Even if it took them a while to warm up to each other, Chloe made a place in his heart by not pushing him to be any different from how he acts around his brothers; she’s now his little sister.

Colette Tatou (Acquaintance): Seven Seeds became Isaac’s instant favorite restaurant and he was fortunate enough to meet the talented chef after Grizzly once decided to order everything on the menu.
