next time you post misinformation credit the ass you pulled it out of. But like fr source is so important in cases like these. there is so much fearmongering around transition and the effects it can have on the body we really need to cite better
While I understand the sentiment to say this, and I agree that there should be things credited as a rule of thumb, and I'm just a stranger on the internet, but! This is something I've been told by many doctors over the years. I know the post has the tone of "trust me bro" but I'm not lying. Depending on how you phrase your question to Google or Bing or whatever, you won't get the same answer about nicotine and hrt. I also acknowledge the phrasing of the original post makes it sound more definite than passive, but I didn't realize that until I read it back to a friend.
Point being: I have sources, I have a few, but they aren't trans specific, they're cis specific, and I was cautioned by my doctor about trans specific issues when being on hrt, that I thought was actually more common knowledge given the amount of trans people I've talked to who confirmed to me that their doctors told them they have increased risk of blood clotting from nicotine because of the hrt.
It's not misinformation just because there aren't specific articles available yet. Chronic illness didn't stop being a thing in the 70's just because they didn't have a name for it yet, same principle. I have asked many doctors across the board about smoking while on T because my family are smokers and I frequent bars that allow indoor smoking, and some of my headmates (since I'm a system) have nicotine addictions. I made sure I knew what I was asking about and the extent of the answer was "it can hurt you more if you smoke on hrt please don't pick it up."
This might be something just emerging in the medical field, I live on the west coast, so who knows, maybe this hasn't reached the rest of the us yet.
As for the follow up ask you sent after this about being influenced by the rock wrestling and your response being influenced by it, maybe you should calm yourself down before trying to share your opinion, especially if you're going to send an apology trying to explain yourself. If you have the awareness to state an apology, you have the awarenes to calm yourself. I didn't pull this out of my fucking ass, I was warned by other trans people and many health professionals.
And, just as a quick aside, maybe come off anon if you're going to be a dick in the first place, say that shit with your whole chest friend, go ahead.

When will marijuana be available in new jersey
Tumblr media
When Will Sporting Cannabis Be Free in NJ?
New Jersey administrators had at first intentionally avoided cutoff times with regard to cannabis regulation. They were worried, to a limited extent, that a race to permit legitimate deals would prompt inventory deficiencies and long queues, Goldstein said. In spite of the absence of cutoff times, Goldstein as well as authorities with the state's CRC communicated hopefulness following the April 11 endorsements about "first day of the season" for sporting weed.
Supply issues make the most ridiculously troubling issue for imminent purchasers in the months to come. Additionally, disappointments for mother-and-pop retail shops could mount on the off chance that licences for more modest pot organisations are not given for a little while, Goldstein and DiPisa said.
Where Could I at any point Purchase Weed Legitimately in NJ?
There are as of now just clinical maryjane dispensaries working in New Jersey. Those are controlled by eight public organisations, which consolidate to have 23 areas all through the state. Here is a guide of the areas.
Seven of those organisations got the last endorsements for sporting licences and will be quick to venture into that domain soon. A lot more imminent sporting retailers are likewise attempting to open in New Jersey.
As a matter of fact, the CRC has given 102 restrictive endorsements, which incorporate many little new companies. In any case, DiPisa said huge obstacles stay for fire up retailers, including getting zero-and low-interest credits and acquiring neighbourhood grants from regions to open.
Contingent endorsements are not equivalent to the seven endorsements passed out April 11 by the CRC, and are only an underlying move toward the administrative interaction toward a state permit. DiPisa said a method for working on the cycle for many more modest imminent retailers is to let loose those favourable credits during the restrictive endorsement stage. That isn't presently the situation, he said.
Why Are Large Weed Organizations Like Curaleaf and Climb Getting First Dibs on Sporting Pot in NJ?
Tumblr media
One piece of the 2021 regulation permitting sporting pot use specified that the current clinical cannabis dispensaries would get the principal endorsements, Goldstein said.
"The CRC might have needed to have a more extensive first day of the season" that included different retailers, he said, yet the commission doesn't actually have a lot of space for error as a result of how the law is composed.
The seven clinical pot organisations, which will sell sporting maryjane at 13 dispensaries, are:
Land CCF New Jersey
Curaleaf
Columbia Care
Verano
GTI New Jersey
Rise New Jersey
TerrAscend
Those organisations are multi-state administrators, meaning they have existing pot organisations in areas across the US.
The amount Does Maryjane Cost in NJ?
Tumblr media
The primary thing to know is that it costs a great deal, the specialists expressed, both for restorative purposes and, in the long run, for sporting purposes.
An ounce of "bloom," which is the crude bud item, costs between $320 to $480 for New Jersey restorative patients, as indicated by a new distributed report by NJ.com. There is no state-directed cost, yet there are state and neighbourhood deals charges in view of weight that add to costs set by retailers.
The expense is high contrasted with costs in different states, including Maine, Florida and those in the West Coast. That has a ton to do with supply, land expenses, and high neighbourhood and weed explicit duties, the specialists said.
Close by Pennsylvania patients likewise should follow through on extremely significant expenses for restorative cannabis, Goldstein said. He generally faults a framework overwhelmed by public partnerships and unbending administrative obstacles.
April 20 may be the informal occasion for pot smokers, yet April 21 will be the genuine day of festivity for the lawful weed industry in New Jersey.
On Thursday, grown-up use maryjane deals will become legitimate in the Nursery State — making the ways for what examiners accept could be a $2 billion market by 2025. It's been a significant delay for New Jersey's defenders of sporting weed: Citizens in the state previously endorsed a polling form measure sanctioning sporting pot deals in Nov. 2020, and Gov. Phil Murphy marked the bill into regulation in Feb. 2021.
Postpones in laying out an administrative structure for the business have left buyers standing by over a year for the second when anybody beyond 21 one years old stroll into one of the state's dispensaries and leave with legitimately bought pot.
What's more, after a significant delay, New Jersey's dispensary proprietors are anticipating that Thursday's send off should have something of "a celebratory viewpoint to it, without a doubt," Joe Bayern, Chief of weed organisation Curaleaf, tells CNBC Make It. "Individuals simply need to be important for the experience and gain and come from an instructive point of view, to see what's really going on with it."
What you can hope to see in New Jersey
Just seven organisations that got endorsement from New Jersey's Pot Administrative Bonus to start sporting deals of weed blossom and marijuana implanted items on April 21.
They get the main break at the possibly enormous market since they as of now work clinical maryjane dispensaries in the state — important they're more averse to sell out or confront other calculated difficulties on the very beginning.
Also, request is positively expected to be, all things considered, high. Only 13 all out dispensaries are set to open for sporting deals on Thursday, across a condition of in excess of 9 million individuals — in addition to clients probably flooding in from neighbouring states like Pennsylvania and New York.
Curaleaf, which is situated in Wakefield, Massachusetts, possesses and works two New Jersey areas - in Bordentown and Edgewater Park - that are adding sporting weed deals to their current clinical maryjane dispensaries on Thursday. Bayern says he's anticipating long queues toward the beginning of the day.
"We've had long queues in a portion of our areas without grown-up use. So I think this will simply be adding to that," he says. "We've welcomed additional individuals, we've chipped away at traffic studies, we've opened up new [point-of-sale] stations by any means of our dispensaries. So we've given our very best, I think, to be ready for it."
"A gram of gold is going for $62 nowadays. A gram of hash oil in Pennsylvania dispensaries sells for $100," Goldstein said. "You're letting me know pot costs more to create than the disclosure, mining and refining of a valuable metal?"

Living with my Parents at 34 years of age
Sometimes it is wise to not leave the comforts of home. My home has a hot tub, a pool, a pool table, several chill areas to relax, xfinity internet, 4 BBQs, 1 smoker and free parking! All this with a room, a nice bathroom, plus an office space as well. How much do I pay to live here you might be asking and at one point of time it was free but in today's time I pay $600 a month with water and electricity.
What is the drawback? I'm living with my parents! Look, I have been told it is completely normal for a son to live with his parents until he is married. To me it makes a little bit of sense for example, a partner can pitch in and help pay for the always increasing rent. Getting a home is always another option but your combined income needs to be at least $100 Grand!
Living with your parents is living with immediate family. There will be moments of discomfort or at least in my case. My parents love each other but they often quarrel. It can be quite annoying and unfun but I guess it is not uncommon in America. People yell at other people all the time. I'm not trying to defend it but I try to avoid yelling.
My name is not on a mortgage and I've used it as a mailbox during all my ventures away from home. I've lived in Folsom, Eugene, Oregon and Las Vegas, Nevada. I love the west coast it is the best coast. I can fish, I can hunt, and my commute is about 20 miles there 20 miles back to a county watershed project. I make enough money with this job to pay my rent, other bills, food and drink costs.
In summary, I believe it is a wise decision to be currently living with my parents. Other options include renting a room elsewhere, moving into an apartment, buying a home, living in a RV, and so on. I have been on the same routine for well over a year since I got the park service job which I truly enjoy. Prior to that was over 4 years delivering pizzas for Domino's! That is a whole another story.
THE ENDING

This post got me thinking about Pete and religion.
Fall Out Boy lyrics are full of Christian religious imagery. You kind of get the impression that Pete was raised in a household where he was just casually surrounded by all of this STUFF, that he absorbed and turned over in his lyrics. I mean, “Knock once for the Father, twice for the Son, three times for the Holy Ghost”... (West Coast Smoker).
He’s preoccupied by Heaven as an exclusive party. The idea shows up again and again. The Black Cards (I *love* the Black Cards stuff, I need to devote a whole thing to Black Cards at some point) have an entire song called “A Club Called Heaven.” On “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Fame,” “Heaven’s got a gate full of metal detectors.” On “Thriller,” he shows up with his plus one to the afterlife.
But Pete’s not entirely sure he’s getting into that party. In fact, usually Pete puts himself in Hell: He might be dancing in a club called Heaven, but he knows the doorman in Hell personally. The road to his house is paved with good intentions in Hum Hallelujah (which is, of course, traditionally what the road to Hell is paved with); “we’re just Hell’s neighbors” in America’s Suitehearts (if we’re not in Hell, we’re right next door, and that could be Heaven but I don’t think so). To get on St. Peter’s list, you need to lower your standards, says Rat-a-Tat. This is what Pete Wentz lyrics do, a simple sentence like that is LOADED with meaning. Because after all, his name is Peter, and it could be Peter Wentz’s list he’s referring to there, and it could also be the list to get into Heaven, and it could be that getting on Peter Wentz’s list doesn’t actually take that much (lower your standards, I’m never getting any better than this) and it could be that it’s St. Peter at the gates of Heaven who needs to lower *his* standards (again: I’m never getting any better than this).
(My absolute favorite Heaven/Hell lyric, though, is when Pete throws in Purgatory, that place in Catholicism where you go to do penance for your sins before you’re let into Heaven: On w.a.m.s. Pete writes, “My head’s in Heaven, my soles are in Hell, let’s meet in the Purgatory of my hips.” The glorious beauty of the sex innuendo being the *purgatory*: what you have to get yourself through to get to actual Heaven. ugh, Pete Wentz kills me sometimes with the way he uses words.)
He left his conscience pressed between the pages of the Bible in the drawer, but what did it ever do for him? So asks XO, and the gorgeously ambiguous phrasing of those lines KILLS ME. What’s the antecedent to the “it”? His conscience, sure, that’s what he’s thrown carelessly in the drawer. WITH THE BIBLE. Which could also be the “it”: What did that whole faith thing ever get me anyway?
But he wants it *so badly.* My second favorite lyric from Hum Hallelujah (a song that is nothing but excellent lyrics is “I love you in the same way there’s a chapel in a hospital.” There is SO MUCH packed into that line. SO, SO MUCH. And one of the things in there is the ambiguous irresistibility of faith: Sure, maybe the chapel is a last-ditch effort when nothing else works, or maybe that chapel is the ONLY thing that works and the only thing that matters in the whole place. I love you like that, like I don’t know if you’re all I’ve got left or you’re the only thing that matters, and I don’t know which it is but wow, either way, it would be great if you gave me a sign. Ugh that liiiiiine. “Have you ever wanted to disappear and join a monastery?” asks 20 Dollar Nose Bleed.
“I will never believe in anything again,” says (Coffee’s for Closers), but who really believes that? The temptation of belief creeps up in between the proclamation (”kick drum beating in my chest again,” “preach electric to a microphone stand”), undercutting it in the same way that its over-repetition in the song starts to ring hollow (Pete doth protest too much). The comfort that religious people get from their faith in God, Pete wants that. But he can’t get there. He’s always hedging his bets (“in case God doesn’t show” --Thnks fr th Mmrs). He’s always doubtful of God’s good intentions if He is there (”when the world ends, will God go down with it?” --What a Catch, Donnie).
So he tries to find substitutes for this faith he doesn’t have. “My words are my faith,” says Hum Hallelujah, but then, immediately afterward, “To hell with our good name,” so that’s how much actual trust he thinks you should place in that. “We’re a bull and your ears are a china shop.” Look at what a mess my words can make in there if you let them in; that’s what faith does to you, buddy. His gospel is the gospel of giving up (Arms Race). “Follow the disorganized religion of my head,” says West Coast Smoker. “I can work a miracle,” boasts Uma Thurman. “I’m the holy water you have been without,” says Fourth of July.
But he’s not really what he wants to believe in. “We’re saints just swimming in our sins,” Twin Skeleton’s reminds everyone. “If we pray to the Lord,” goes the outro on w.a.m.s., “does he sing on a stage?” Maybe rock and roll is what he should be believing in? “I’m the last damn kid still kicking who still believes,” claims Save Rock and Roll. “I will defend the faith, going down swinging.”
All of which brings us to MANIA. Religion, faith, belief is ALL OVER MANIA. In fact, the entire album is constructed as a journey toward finding the thing you believe in, the thing you have faith in, and finally settling in to cling tight to it. The first song on the album, Stay Frosty, Royal Milk Tea, is struggling with loss of things to believe in: “All my childhood heroes have fallen off or died.” (Champion later has the same theme: “I’m young enough to still believe, but young enough not to know what to believe in.” The most explicit Pete has ever been about his journey toward faith.) But then, in the second song, Last of the Real Ones, the lyrics have found someone to revolve around, someone to be with forever: “the ultra-kind of love,” that ultimate faith. But it’s not quite there yet. There’s doubt in there. “Tell me I’m the only one even if it’s not true.” “There’s been a million before me.” The bridge is expert Fall-Out-Boy song ambiguity. “I’m done with having dreams, the thing that I believe / you drain the fear from me.” Is that “I believe that you drain the fear from me”? Or is that “I’m done with the thing that I believe”? The song’s phrasing lets it be both at once, both a proclamation of faith and a proclamation of doubt, all at the same time.
But things get better. We eventually get to “Church.” An entire song where the religious imagery is pitched toward love (or blowjobs, like, same thing, maybe, for Pete Wentz). “If YOU were church, I’d get on my knees, confess my love, I’d know where to be, my sanctuary, you’re holy to me,” is the refrain of the whole song. It can’t get any clearer than that. Pete Wentz has found what he wants to believe in, and it’s the YOU (whoever that might be ahem just saying that in “Sunshine Riptide,” the she says “I love you ‘til I don’t,” while the You is the “truest feeling yet”). The other enduring theme in MANIA is fakeness and pretend: fake tears, fake friends, people you’re pretending with and around. That theme shows up in Church, too: “I’ve got a few more fake friends and it’s getting hard to know what’s real.” But in Church the proclamation of faith is in the chorus, which means that no matter how anxious Pete gets himself in the lyrics, he resolves back to the central belief: I’ve got you, I know where I should be. YOU’RE what’s real, right here, forget everyone else.
AND THEN we get Heaven’s Gate. Which revisits Pete’s favorite idea that Heaven is a party he’s going to have to try to crash. But here the song is all about how he’s no longer aimlessly looking for something to believe in; he’s found it: “I’m a missile that’s guided to you.” Maybe he’s gotten it wrong, that he’s chosen the You as his thing to believe in, that the only thing he wants is Your love, but if he’s gotten it wrong, he’s got faith the You is going to get it right and give him the boost he needs into Heaven. “Honey, please come through” and take me along with Your awesomeness, because I’ve decided it’s You I’m going to follow, Your dreams I’m going to make come true, and I’m not going to try to detox from You anymore, I’m just going to go all-in on this whole thing, and in the end, if I don’t make it on the list, will You slip me a wristband?
The album closes out with Young and Menace, with “I’ve lived so much life I think that God is gonna have to kill me twice,” which is such a beautiful bookend to “I read about the afterlife but I never really lived” in Saturday, like, ugh, that always kills me, look how far Pete Wentz has come, and then finally into Bishop’s Knife Trick: “I’m yours, ‘til the earth starts to crumble and the heavens roll away.”
Let’s go back to the places that we never should have left.
Idk, maybe you could read this as: Pete Wentz finally found something to believe in, and it ended up being the person who hasn’t left his side in 20 years, the person he’s never had to pretend with, the person who’s been there through all the fake friends, the person who’s golden and amazing and DEFINITELY going to get it right when Pete doesn’t. I mean, maybe you could read it this way.

Neon Gravestones – Twenty One Pilots
Promise me this If I lose to myself You won't mourn a day And you'll move onto someone else
The Hype – Twenty One Pilots
But you don't get thick skin without getting burnt
Holding on to You – Twenty One Pilots
Fight it, Take the pain, ignite it, Tie a noose around your mind Loose enough to breathe fine and tie it To a tree. Tell it, "You belong to me. This ain't a noose, this is a leash. And I have news for you: you must obey me."
Car Radio – Twenty One Pilots
I ponder of something terrifying 'Cause this time there's no sound to hide behind I find over the course of our human existence One thing consists of consistence And it's that we're all battling fear
Guns for Hands – Twenty One Pilots
I'm trying, I'm trying to sleep
Skyway Avenue – We The Kings
We'll race right off the cliff They will remember this It all got so mundane With you I'm back again Just take me by the hand We're close to the edge
Sad Song – We The Kings (feat. Elena Coats)
Without you, I feel broke Like I'm half of a whole Without you, I've got no hand to hold Without you, I feel torn Like a sail in a storm Without you, I'm just a sad song
Check Yes, Juliet – We The Kings
Run baby run Don't ever look back They'll tear us apart if you give them the chance
Lights And Sounds – Yellowcard
Smile big for everyone, Even when you know what they’ve done. They gave you the end but not where to start; Not how to build, how to tear it apart.
Ocean Avenue – Yellowcard
If I could find you now things would get better We could leave this town and run forever Let your waves crash down on me and take me away
Telescope - Yellowcard
And something took you from me I can't understand why But wherever you're resting I'm carrying your line

Sweet! In that case I’d kindly ask you to rank Fall Out Boys albums in order of which ones you like the most to the least. (Or least to most. Whichever you prefer.)
I love this question! Thank you so much for asking, anon
To preface my list, I’ll clarify that I’m not including Mania yet because I haven’t listened to it enough in one day to give a solid ranking compared to the other albums. However, I’ll say for sure that’s amongst my absolute favourites. I will be ranking the Pax Am Days EP just because I don’t feel like it’s fair to count that in with Save Rock And Roll even though the EP was released as part of a special edition as well as a standalone. The style of Pax Am Days is so significantly different from their other releases that I felt it deserved it’s own spot. The same goes for My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue, being an acoustic EP.
So, in order from least favourite to favourite, here we go:
American Beauty/American Psycho
Let’s be honest, I still love this record. In fact, I adore the sound they achieved on this album and I really like the concept of using samples in every track. Twin Skeletons (Hotel In NYC) might just be one of my favourite Fall Out Boy songs ever, regardless of album. However, this album didn’t give me quite so solid an emotional sucker-punch as some of their other releases, which is why this takes the last place. Don’t think this means I dislike it, because in fact I take the opposite stance, but it is the album I listen to the least and probably the one I have the least emotional attachment to.
Save Rock And Roll
Again, I love the sound here. The entire concept, the mini-movie compromised of music videos, Save Rock And Roll has so much going for it. Like with American Beauty/American Psycho, however, it’s the lyrics that held this one back from being higher on my list. Believe me, I will always love the lyricism in Fall Out Boy’s releases and the fact that these two albums take the lowest places doesn’t mean I dislike the lyrics- I still like them more than I like the work of most other lyricists- but these don’t hit home in the way that the older albums do, for me. This is logical, in all honesty. I’m nineteen. The songs that were written when they were younger do have more emotional relevance to me, and I love the raw honesty of their older work in a very visceral way. I love this more polished style as well, but you’ll understand when you get further down why I had to leave these albums at the top of the list.
My Heart Will Always Be the B-Side to My Tongue
There’s not that much to say about this- it’s short but sweet. I love that early acoustic sound going on, and it makes me so grateful that I got to see a short acoustic set live when I saw Fall Out Boy back in late 2015. Not only are there acoustic recordings of one track from Take This To Your Grave and three tracks that were completely new at the time, one of which was an acoustic demo for a track later featured on From Under The Cork Tree, and lastly, an acoustic Joy Division cover. It’s charming, sweet in its simplicity and it’s always a good EP to listen through.
Take This To Your Grave
Man, this album speaks of teenage dreams like no other. It perfectly captures that limitless and ambitious sense of excitement. It’s not so much the lyrics but the music in which you can really feel it, but I can’t listen to Saturday without the urge to hop into my partner’s car with our two best friends and go take on the world with nothing but fists wrapped in fingerless gloves and a relentless, mutual love. Same goes for Homesick At Space Camp. The lyrics are sprawling and the music is rough, but ready. This album means a lot to me, in all honesty. It means a hell of a lot.
Pax Am Days
Like with the earlier EP I discussed, there’s only so much I can say about a short release. However, I have to point out quite how much it stands out against Fall Out Boy’s other releases as a totally unique thing- especially compared to their newer albums released at similar times. This EP is just special, you get the feeling it’s entirely circumstantial, they had a weekend, a studio to go to, and a couple of ideas to mess around with. If anything happened to be different, this just would not exist. It’s eighties and nineties inspired hardcore punk, and it’s honestly just a gem.
(Also, my mum can’t stand it. This just makes me love it even more.)
From Under The Cork Tree
Now here, here is where the lyrical style of their first album combines with a slightly more polished, yet still organic sound. And boy, do I love it. This album is emotional, and that’s something I can’t avoid in this little summary of a review. It’s drenched not only in the emotion that the band wrote into every note, into every word, it’s also become splattered with my own emotions and attachments over the years. This album covers a lot of emotional ground. It starts off self-deprecating in a way that hints at hidden confidence, moving quickly through resentment and jealousy onto anger, lingering on a deep, haunting sadness before taking a U-turn back into anger and resentment. There’s a lot to cover, but what I can say without hesitation is that I’ve often found comfort in this album. There is, running close under the surface of this album, a fear of not living up to expectations. And well, look at the chart performance this release got, not to mention the level of critical acclaim. It gives me an everlasting hope that I always do better than my doubts tell me I can.
Folie A Deux
I know exactly what you’re thinking right now. “Beckett, if you like clear, honest and emotional lyrics, why is the metaphorical mess that is Folie A Deux so high up on this list?” So, here it is:
It’s because of the sound. The sound on Folie is fucking phenomenal. Everything from the rhythms, the riffs and the complexity added by the collaborations to the clean, powerful vocals, every aspect of this album seems like it was specifically designed to murder and resurrect me all at once. It’s so crisp, so strong, it’s hard to describe exactly how it feels without directing you to go listen to it right now for yourself. I don’t dislike the lyrics, but it’s true that with this album more than the others I struggled to make sense of them. That said, tracks like 27 really knock it out of the park in regards to both lyricism and composition. Actually, 27 is my favourite Fall Out Boy song. Considering every album, every song, 27 is my favourite. I think that speaks volumes about Folie A Deux.
(Actually, I can’t move on without pointing out my favourite piece of musical and lyrical detail from Folie A Deux. You know in West Coast Smoker, when the bridge counts “Knock once for the Father/ Twice for the Son/ Three times for the Holy Ghost” and then the drum line does one beat, two beats and three beats on each line to hammer it home? Yeah, I’m a sucker for that.)
Infinity On High
Well, we’re finally at the top (or, more literally, the bottom) of the list. At last, I get to rant about my love of Infinity On High. Firstly, it’s named for a Van Gogh quote, which sets my little artist’s heart aflame. Secondly, it combines the elements I love the most from all of their other albums. It has the lyrical openness of their early work with the more structured, polished style to the wording. There’s metaphors, but they don’t saturate the whole of the album and I find them easy to pick up. And though I technically do slightly prefer the powerful sound of Folie A Deux, this is where that sound began. It may not be quite so omnipresent, but it’s there and many of what I would call my favourite Fall Out Boy songs come from this album for that exact reason. The running theme of fame is something that the band themselves have called “arrogant” in hindsight, but I actually feel that’s a little harsh. When they wrote the album they were still new to fame and recognition and, therefore, the hardships it creates. Getting to hear that process and that part of their journey, that time of adjustment to a new social landscape, it’s fascinating to me. They had a whole new goldmine of resources bought to them not only by label success but also by name and reputation, and there’s a clear shift at the release of this record where you can feel them really pin down what their ideal sound was at the time. Yeah, this is my favourite Fall Out Boy album as it currently stands.
(That said, Mania is certainly creeping up the ranks!)

Cannabis Career in Florida, Opportunities Ahead
In California, many people started 2018 with the chance to buy legal recreational marijuana. California joins seven other states and Washington D.C. to legalize weed. The state is presently the biggest market for lawful marijuana in the nation and specialists trust it could produce no less than a billion dollars in tax income every year.
In the Sunshine State Florida, Voters of November 8, 2016, general election endorsed the Florida Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative. The activity required a super majority vote to go, with no less than 60 percent of voters voting in the help of a state-protected correction. On January 4, 2018, in any case, Sessions revoked the Cole Memo, a 2013 mandate that prioritized the implementation of government marijuana laws in states where cannabis had been legalized. The Florida Cannabis Act may show up on the vote in Florida as a started sacred correction on November 6, 2018. The change was not put on the ballot in Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment during the election on November 8, 2016. The change would legalize ownership of up to one ounce of pot by residents no less than 21 years of age. Residents would be permitted to develop up to six plants for each family. The plants would need to be grown in “an enclosed, locked space,” and users would not be permitted to sell the plants they grow. Under the correction, cannabis would be dealt like alcohol, it would be prohibited for people under 21 years old, buyers would need to indicate proof of age before buying pot from retail offices and it would be illegal for anybody to drive while stoned or affected by marijuana. The change also plots control over marijuana cultivation, retail pot deals, and manufacturing cannabis products.
As such a large amount of cannabis cultivation happens on the west coast, the south eastern quadrant of the nation is gradual, yet clearly paving the way for development operations, dispensaries, and different cannabusinesses. With new law set up, Florida is set to start new, turning it into a pot powerhouse as the following years. Florida can possibly turn into the second biggest medical marijuana showcase in the nation behind California and could end up being a central point in destigmatizing cannabis and reducing the energy of significant pharmaceutical organizations.
In each state that has moved from unlawful to legal cannabis operations, noticeably shifts occur in the state’s job market as a whole, not just in direct Florida marijuana jobs like growing and marijuana dispensary jobs. Although numerous cannabis job applicants will probably scan for positions including communication with pot plants and items, the cannabusiness will require support in its subordinate industries in order to be successful. At last, Florida pot employments will show up along a wide range that includes each position from marijuana dispensary security jobs to weed demonstrating occupations.
Dispensaries are amazingly essential for Florida cannabis occupations as they are staffed basically with entry level or intermediate workers. Most people searching for work in the Florida cannabusiness don’t have huge legal involvement in the business, positioning dispensaries as a crucial point for the careers of dedicated marijuana users.
As far as Florida weed occupations go, lead cultivators are repaid higher than most other industry representatives. They have the vital and detail oriented job of reinforcing the cannabusiness. Cultivation sector enables workers to collaborate with cannabis daily, meet experts in the development, processing and distribution sector of the industry.
With new technology, trimming cannabis can technically be done by a machine, but there is really no replacement for the hard-working people producing piles of manicured marijuana. Trimming is another solid sector for beginning a shining career. Concentrates show up in various different sectors, for example, wax, oil, honeycomb, smash and crumble. These substances (often referred as “dabs”) may differ in consistency, yet they are all high demand
Another gathering of cannabis items that holds extraordinary significance for the restorative pot group is edibles. Edibles have been a piece of cannabis culture for quite a while, yet edibles chefs are currently making delicious treats that will fill your stomach and get you high.
Marijuana critic jobs have shown up in higher frequencies as cannabis experts and interested newcomers look to “proficient smokers” to give a breakdown of the bunch strains and stuff available today. Major dailies like The Denver Post and The Oregonian are ready for proficient pot analysts and it is highly demand-able.
Marijuana and cannabis-related jobs, features, marketing, blogs and many other things can be found in “ChronicJobs.com”. You can filter and search for jobs near you or wherever you desire. If you are looking for an employee, you can post any jobs for your company. As in Florida, ChronicJobs offers some amazing dream jobs for you such as sales representative, Dispensary Manager, Delivery Specialist, Processing Manager, wellness coordinator and many more. And yes, all these jobs and new career opportunities are in Florida, the state of sunshine.

Marijuana Slang for Beginners
Happen to have walked into a marijuana dispensary for the first time and found yourself totally lost within minutes? The first few visits to a dispensary can be a little confusing.
First of all, the brand of cannabis you will find inside each dispensary may vary from state to state. In Massachusetts for example, it is mandatory that each dispensary produces their own cannabis, so consequently, you won’t find a West Coast cannabis brand there. However, if you have a brand you find at Patriot Care Boston, it is also likely that you will find it at Patriot Care Lowell.
Don’t forget to bring some cash. Due to federal banking restrictions, the cannabis market primarily a cash-only business. CanPay is a new app that is popping up all over the place and actually allows customers to use their credit card(s) at dispensaries. Give it a shot if your local dispensary supports it.
The words weed, bud, dank, sticky icky, ganja, and herb are all terms that have been used for decades to refer to our lovely cannabis flowers.
Before you walk into a dispensary, try and familiarize with the terms and strains. If not it’s totally fine, Flowers are sold by their weight, which can be confusing since they’re a mix of metric and imperial units. You will find the smaller batches in grams and largest in ounces.
In case you are no very good at rolling joints and wish to have yours perfectly packed and rolled, you can ask for a pre-roll. You usually find them with half-gram to a full gram of flower. If you are worried about the potency of the flower, most of them in the legal market vary from 15% to 25% THC content, but can certainly can go lower and higher.
Another term you may want to familiar with is extraction. It is the process of “extracting” THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids and terpenes from cannabis. It is done using a commercial, food-grade processor, extracting a concentrated oil of cannabis leaves and flower. Lots of products from extract, including vape cartridge and high-end dabbing waxes.
Vape cartridge are one of the most common devices to consume extract. The cartridge refers to one half of the cannabis vape pen; the other is the battery that powers the heating element.
Rosin is a kind of hand-crafted form of a concentrate. It is done by pressing a cannabis flower in a heated hydraulic press, which results in concentrated oil, free of solvents or added ingredients.
Wax is a concentrate in a waxy form, which you can consume in a dab rig or in a special vaporizer. Shatter is a concentrate in opaque brittle solid form.
Dabbing refers to a concentrated form of vaporizing cannabis, usually in a form of wax or hash.
Almost all forms of concentrates come from specific strains, which possess different properties, corresponding to the qualities exhibited in their flower form.
Edibles are your favorite childhood lollipops, lozenges, pie, cookies, brownies, candies and beverages… except these are infused with THC and/or CBD. A pro tip for enjoying your edibles is to start slow. You need to know how your body reacts, or it will hit hard even for the most experienced of smokers.
Tinctures are a liquid form cannabis extracts, consumed by placing drips under your tongue. You can also mix them with beverages or food. Tinctures are a great entry point for consumers trying not to go for the smokable forms of cannabis. The dosages are also pretty easy to measure, unlike with edibles. You can start with 1 milliliter of your finished tincture and if you’re happy with the effects, you’re done. If not, you can try 2 ml the following day until you find the amount you’re ok with. Don’t start with large drops or you may get a little too elevated.
Topicals are cannabis-infused lotions and skin products that contain THC, CBD, and/or other cannabinoids. You’ll probably find lotions, soaps, transdermal patches, massage oils, body balms, shea butter, and other products on dispensary shelves. They are absorbed through your skin and are responsible for relieving localized pain, soreness, and inflammation.
Now that you know it all about marijuana talk, it is time to go after a dispensary and test your knowledge when buying your cannabis.

How Vape Friendly is Your City?
If you’re a longtime vaper, you probably already know the general feeling towards vaporizers in your community. However, for those who don’t know, many cities treat vaping very differently from one another. Some cities have been especially vape-friendly, while others have all but banned vaporizers. How does your city stack up?
How Cities Are Ranked
Vape friendliness has to do with more than just allowing vaporizers in the city. Other important factors include how vaporizers are taxed, how vapor businesses are treated and how well the city understands the health impacts of vaping. It also includes whether or not local businesses like restaurants and bars are welcoming to vapers in general.
Vape-Friendly Cities
It’s no surprise that some of the friendliest cities for vaping are located in Colorado and Arizona. Phoenix, Denver and Colorado Springs are all leading the charge by being extremely friendly to vapers of all kinds. These cities have a really strong track record of supporting vapers and also are home to several vaping organizations that are actively advocating for vapers’ rights.
Outside of the Midwest, the most vape-friendly city is Virginia Beach, VA. All of these cities are full of people who tout the benefits of vaping over smoking and tend to be very health-conscious. At first it seems like marijuana-friendly cities also tend to be vape-friendly, but that is not always the case.
Of course, there are many shades of vape friendliness to keep in mind, so even if you don’t live in one of these ultra-friendly cities, you may still be in a place that is moderate or indifferent towards vaping in general.
Look around you and consider whether or not your city actively welcomes vape shops, or if they are required to go through extra steps to open up shop in the area. Ask yourself if your favorite hangouts are inviting toward vapers or not. Also look into your local representatives and see whether or not they have expressed any overt opinions about vaping.
Less Vape-Friendly Cities
Oddly enough, some of the least vapor-friendly cities in the U.S. are on the West Coast. Seattle and the entire state of California are generally unwelcoming to vapers.
Of course, California’s Proposition 56 was a pretty damning hit to the industry and showed vapers that they have a long fight ahead of them. In addition, Boston and Chicago also rank pretty low on the list. Some of these cities rank poorly because of strict taxes alone. Others rank poorly because of a lack of vapor-friendly businesses and limited availability of vapor products.
What To Do If You’re In a Non-Friendly Area
If you happen to live in a city that is not very vape-friendly, there is good news. As with Colorado and Arizona, it is possible to change the course of events by educating people and advocating for your rights. If you find a city particularly unwelcoming, it is likely that other vapers do, too.
Seek out others in your area who want to organize and turn things around. Again, your representatives are a good starting point because they may not have given any thought at all to vaping just yet, or they may have lumped it in with traditional tobacco products due to a lack of understanding. They are your ticket to a better vaping atmosphere.
Educating your peers and neighbors is the next step in the process. Even if you can get your representatives to stay vape-friendly, the fact is that you need the community to stand behind you as well.
A large part of this is informing your neighbors about why you started vaping in the first place. Share your struggles with trying to give up cigarettes and pull out a few quick and easy facts that demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of vaping as an alternative.
Be prepared to answer a lot of strange questions about things they’ve read on the web, and dispel fears about vaporizers exploding and maiming people. Statistics are your friend.
Many people out there don’t realize that vaping is not just a trend that young kids are taking up. They need to understand that it is a choice that millions of smokers are making to improve their lives. If it was their relative facing the health hazards of lung cancer from cigarettes, they would want all available resources to help them quit.
Just because a city isn’t particularly vape-friendly today doesn’t mean that it can’t get there. Vaping got a lot of bad press in the early years and it has taken a consistent effort by advocates in places like Colorado and Arizona to really turn the tables. Residents of other cities can learn from the communities in those states and form their own organizations to effect change in their areas.
