the pirates isn’t particularly fit for many and josiah is the prime example for it. coming from a sheltered and lavish way of living, josiah is not exactly keen on exploration and adventure. he’s a scaredy-cat who complains too much about getting his boots dirty so it’s strange how he ended up in a dorm such as piraticus, right? that all changes when he sees jewels of any kind. he’ll do anything some shiny treasure and can actually be quite formidable when it comes to trying to obtain it. his love for shiny things is a secret weapon in itself. what a greedy coward he is.
