Something new I learned about myself today:

Because I forced myself "too early" to "fake it until I make it" or in better words, "want to make everything better"; I hid away dark parts of myself that I tend to "bottle up" without consciously being aware of it at the moment. This is why I'm not able to express my emotions & feelings in a proper way at the current moment something is happening. Because those things that trigger this, can be coming from actions, thoughts, & feelings from those I pick up around me when they mention it in anyway. Through action or words. For the reason of being able to "connect" or "vibe with" that person so much. I want to fix them so I can fix myself. But that is not the right way of thinking about it--when truly, I need to fix myself before I attempt to do so much with others I feel/felt close to through my connection to whats happening to them at the moment or to the things they refer to me. This makes it easier to say: I'm going through a lot more than you think. I may be extremely optimistic but it might be disguised as an unconscious way of tucking away my demons. Here & there.

So this time, I need to look at them (my "demons") & face them head on no matter how painful it is .... So please. If it seems like I am depressed or negative, know that I am dealing with them head on in my own way & that is one my own few ways to deal with them. I also need support, positive vibes/words, love, care, respect & understanding. I hope you can be patient with me. As I will be using tumblr as a vent. I will do my best to do the best within my own abilities, for if I want to change the world. I have to change my own.

Also. I tend to attempt to "Disconnect" from others so I can make myself a better priority, because the more I connect with others, the more I become vulnerable to them- thus they having the ability to "mess" with my empathy even when they don't mean to or when they don't know it. My empathy is not a toy & it can make me into a miserable person if I let it effect me too much. So as of now, this is the only way for me not to let it hurt me so much. I'm still learning how to balance it. So far it's been pretty hard, but I'm getting there.

Thank you for taking the time to read this if you do. In simply doing it. It means a lot to me. Along with that I want you to know that I will still try to be there for those in need. I must extend my wisdom--how else can I do that ? I know there are many ways, but, this way is my most preferred.

I hope this make sense because my head is a very different space I haven't been visiting often.

Volume up for this morning’s fun tutorial where I eat serious humble pie in an effort to reclaim my body, my strength & skills. A year ago this time I was smoothly pressing to straddle handstands with minimal props. Adversity in my life helped me to let go of a lot of my self discipline. For a type “A” like me this and most begin to feel like an all or nothing; even though the truth is we are all infinite shades in between. I allowed this to happen because I didn’t put effort into realization of where I had gotten. Now: stronger, smarter and re-committed to my own empowerment and for once maybe letting others in on what isn’t always the prettiest parts of my journey. I started learning to do assisted front tucks off L-base feet with partner. Yesterday I posted the preps using lines with @acropierre Having successfully gotten the pops but not the ticks on the lines I worked with one of the teachers @homelessyogi assisted by @acropierre and the other lovely gentleman who’s name I forgot- sorry; away from the lines. First time I under rotated. This time I fully rotated but didn’t hold the tuck and end with more open legs so the lovely Jeremy took a snowboard sock covered foot too the head with an incredible compassionate and kind heart and a little “oh shit” too! I was too nervous about hurting my neck with some of the prep; so I went on lines with @acropierre and started with these big throne type pops in order to as @emilyhenrie said “to throw the beach ball when you are up”. All I know is I pops were fun and the idea of the tuck was scaring the hell out of me!
