After a month of effort spinning circles on the #xfinity website and having two orders black holed because I dared to ask why the free service through the free box costs me $3.26 a month in fake taxes, I finally got my Flex box today. (That's $3.26 fake tax on a $5 service so that's a nearly 70% tax in a state w/o a sales tax.) . . . The service officially becomes available in July but if you are a #Comcast customer you can get early access if you have a Flex box or X1. The Flex box is like a Roku or other streaming app boxes. . . . You can use the Flex to access #Hulu, #Netflix, #PrimeVideo #cbsallacess #YouTube #TubiTV and a few other free w/ ads services. . . Most of which had ties to Star Trek.  . Legend - Steam-Punk Western starring Richard Dean Anderson and John de Lancie Marker - Detective show starring Richard Grieco and Gates McFadden The Watcher - Anthology show w/ host Sir Mix-A-Lot . . Dangerous Games was a campy show like the 1966 Batman show or the 1994 Robocop series. Like the Batman show, Deadly Games featured over the top villains each week. Video game villains escape the game and our trio of heroes must stop them before they rule the world or something. Leonard Nimoy was executive producer, creative consultant and directed the pilot.  . . . Christopher Lloyd (Back To The Future, The Addams Family, Star Trek III) played the main villain of the show. Cynthia Gibb (Fame, Youngblood, Short Circuit 2) played the girlfriend and got top billing on the show. James Calvert and Stephen Kay played the other two heroes.  . . The Guest cast included Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Dwight Schultz, Jeremy Renner, Mark Pellegrino, Shirley Jones, Jimmie Walker, Kathy Ireland, Downtown Julie Brown, Anthony Michael Hall, Sam McMurray, Page Leong, Melanie Smith (DS9), Allison Smith (West Wing, Spy Games), J.D. Star Trek Voyager was the flagship title with most of the slate having a link to Star Trek. or Sir Mix-A-Lot.  . Legend - Steam-Punk Western starring Richard Dean Anderson and John de Lancie . Dangerous Games - Video Game Villains run amuk guest starring Christopher Lloyd, Brent Spiner, Shirley Jones, Dwight Schultz, LeVar Burton, Kathy Ireland and more.  . Marker - Detective show starring Richard Grieco and Gates McFadden . . . UPN’s other big show was The Watcher starring Sir Mix A Lot and Bobbie Phillips. Las Vegas is covered in cameras and Sir Mix-A-Lot had access to them all. So he told the viewer stories of people who came to Las Vegas and the troubles or whatever. Several (if not all) of the 13 episodes had multiple stories. The series ran from January 17, 1995 to June 27, 1995.  . . . Notable guest stars include: Vivica A. Fox, Walton Goggins, Gilbert Gottfried, Dorian Harewood, Kathy Ireland and Kato Kaelin.  . . . . Like Legend, Dangerous Games and Marker, The Watcher didn’t survive past it’s first 13 episode season. Legend ended up getting rerun on TV Land in 1999. And both Legend and Dangerous Games have been released recently on DVD.
