DaisySims 3 / DS3 Archive

I have collected what I could from DaisySims3, with the help of @sideshowsnob!

For those who don't know, DS3 was a Chinese website like MTSims-Cakestore where Chinese creators could post links to their CC. Unfortunately, the original website went defunct some time ago, and while they had a Lofter site, many download pages were mysteriously missing and the rest were locked behind Baidu or VDisk. VDisk.. doesn't work and Baidu has been locked to anyone that isn't from Mainland China, unless you are able to obtain an account (attempting to sign up via the international site gives you the error that mentions not accepting accounts from Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or other foreign countries; I don't remember the exact text, but it mentions those places specifically).

However, I have a Baidu account, so I have rounded up everything I could find, even if the creator included a backup Mediafire link. Many still had dead Baidu links, but for some items, I was able to find a reupload. I'm still missing a few items, though.

Hello, I love your archive! I can't describe the joy I felt finding old CC I had when I first started playing that I thought were lost forever. I noticed that you have some hair retextures archived and I wanted to know if you are aware of Paint-Stroke? They use to make hair retextures but since 2016 all of their Blogspot posts are gone except one informing followers about moving to a new page (PaintMeKatty). They have some of their old hairs but a lot are missing. I'd love to see them again ♥

Hello! I finallyyyyy had enough time to begin an IrKatty / Paintstroke / PaintMeKatty archive! Unfortunately I can tell a lot are still missing, but I found a lot + some missing CAS clothes and eye contacts she never reuploaded. I also mirrored all her second blog uploads (the retextures she made after deleting all her old ones) in the subfolder called "From Second Blog". Some hairs that I found were retextured again in this folder, but I think there are a few, slight differences. Such a shame she deleted all the old ones and never reuploaded most of them back in 2016; they are so unique!

my current downloads folder is 20GB (yes. 20GB. i know.) and i really need to clean it out. i kind of want to just delete everything and start from scratch again but i also...do not want to do that. i honestly do not even know if its worth it to try and manually clean out my folder or if i should just give up and start over :(

Removed (most) CC from NexusMods

Hey all, I have decided to remove about 40 mods listed on NexusMods.

The reason:

I use NexusMods both personally and for posting mods, but I ultimately don't want to risk getting in trouble with the admins for posting Persona/FNAF/franchise stuff there.

So after thinking it over, I have decided to remove anything related to a franchise/IP from my account on NM. Modding is a gray area - some companies are fine with their works being used in mods, others not so much.

Future mods posted there:

From now on any mods I post there will be stuff I made that doesn't rely on another franchise just to be on the safe side.

Upcoming backup cc archives:

I'm sorry for the abrupt change if you've been using NM to download some of my stuff.

I did however make a backup of my old mods from NM now on SFS (as well as some backups in case I didn't post the cc elsewhere) 

If you know of any safe/good sites to host an archive of all my past cc, please lmk!

If certain cc creators think it's okay to have their supporters falsely report a blog for child porn just because said blog reuploaded their cc, that says a LOT about the kind of person they are!!! That's fucking disgusting! 👍

some brainstorming/patch notes for Bertalan 3.0 Larian's Version Third Time's The Charm Version

has a more messed up backstory, I won't detail it here but it involves being offered to a hag before his birth but then going back on the deal

he is actually Baldurian now, but he prefers staying outside town where he's needed more (as a monster-hunter/herbalist i'm thinking those farmlands/woods that get destroyed in act 3)

has more of a "power reveals" than a "power corrupts" mindset both in terms how power is used and what one might do to obtain power

as such he no longer takes on tadpoles out of insecurity but bc he totally know who he is and what he's about, he can be trusted with power I prommy

as such he is more aware of his own standing in society and has a more dutiful approach to things, but also has more disdain for the peacekeeping organizations of Baldur's Gate but also towards the gods

his age got bumped up a little bit to the 38-44 range

he is now grumpier and angstier but also more confident and with more of a "I know more than you" attitude in acts 1 and 2 but he also also has more of a heart of gold don't worry

alchemy is no longer a metagaming thing he actually has braincells to do it
