Chocobros and their s/o at the Moogle Chocobo Carnival

I asked @chocobrowritings for an idea about what to write and they said to do something about the carnival. Thanks again for the idea!

Noctis

This kid is an awkward dork but it’s honestly too cute! 

He’d probably be dragged along by his s/o after they begged him to go

When they’re actually at the carnival, Noct’s s/o is gonna have to drag him by the hand to look at all of the different attractions

Of course, seeing Noctis awkwardly dancing alongside the Moogle and Chocobo is definitely a highlight of their day

The prince would for sure be showing off and trying to hide the fact that he’s actually enjoying himself

He’d be trying super hard to get the VIP ticket for the fireworks and hotel suite for the two of them

When the fireworks start and his s/o’s eyes light up, he’s going to be smiling so brightly and thinking how lucky he is to have them

He’d probably pull them in for a kiss too

Ignis

Ignis is going to be dressed super casual and he’d be relaxed to finally have a day out with his s/o

His outfit would probably come as a surprise to his s/o but they’d most likely think of how nice it is to see Iggy like that

He’d love trying all of the foods and making sure to take note of what his s/o likes so he can make it for them back at home

Iggy would be smiling a lot at how his s/o is enjoying themselves and laughing when they dance with the Moogle

He’d really like seeing his s/o happy and carefree and not having to worry about anything else

Prompto

My sunshine chocobo son is definitely the one dragging his s/o to the carnival

His puppy dog face would be too cute to resist and they’d end up giving in

 He’d be all decked out in carnival gear and chocobo clothes that people would start to think he was a part of it

Prompto would be the one dragging his s/o around to see all of the chocobo attractions and would challenge them to a race on the sea

Seeing him lose it over all of the chocobos and gushing over them would be absolutely adorable

He’d be asking his s/o to take photos with him all day and stopping to snap shots of everything he could

Prompto would love to watch the fireworks and maybe snap a pic here and there but would be more focused on seeing them through his s/o’s eyes

Gladiolus 

Gladio would be pretty indifferent to the whole carnival thing but wouldn’t mind going if it meant he could spend time with his s/o 

He would probably end up having a really good time

He’d let his competitive side out when playing the games and races and would end up winning the VIP ticket in no time

Gladdy wouldn’t really be interested in doing much else unless it was eating something or watching the fireworks

Maybe both at the same time

Hey, I've been super self-concious lately and need some chocobro love. I'm a really smol person who is deceptively strong for my size and I feel like sometimes it gets intimidating and makes me unattractive, so I was wondering how the chocobros (specifically Prompto) would react if they found out how strong their crush or S/O is despite their size

I’m sorry you’re not feeling yourself, babe! Smol strong babes are still babes! Here’s some Chocobro lovin’ for ya. Hope it makes you feel better!

Prompto: 

Probably finds out about it when he’s trying to impress you and shows off but fails and you end up catching him before he falls

Your embrace is tighter than you meant it to be but you couldn’t help it

Propmto comments that he can’t breathe and you apologize

You didn’t want to talk about what happened but after a while he convinces you to tell him why you’re upset

Prom knows what it’s like to not love your body for what it is so he’s super supportive

From there on out, he likes exploring just how strong you are

He loves training with you

Will absolutely show off your strength to the other bros

“Hey guys, check this out!” *continues to show off your strength and embarrass you* Only because he loves you and wants you to know that being strong and small isn’t a bad thing

Absolutely adores your hugs and cuddles

Is always reminding you how cute you are and that he loves you

Wants you to feel comfortable in your own skin

Will go out of is way to make you feel good about yourself

Nothing makes him happier than when he sees you starting to accept yourself 

Gladio:

He loves how short you are in comparison to him

Finds out you’re strong when he makes a comment about you being smol and you smack his arm

“That actually kinda hurt, short stuff.”

Teases you about sparring with him until you actually do it

You can totally hold your own against him

Always asks you to spar when you aren’t busy

Arm wrestling? You bet!

Gladio secretly loves that you are strong so he doesn’t have to worry about you when he’s away

Makes little comments about it to his friends to boast about how proud he is to have you as his S/O

Ignis:

Ignis is sneaky about having found out you’re strong

He knows you’re insecure about it so he doesn’t comment on it

Will slyly comment on others not messing with you

Gladio probably says something to tease you and Iggy retorts with “I wouldn’t make them mad if I were you.”

Loves feeling you grip is hands through his gloves

Will cook your favourite meal for you when you are feeling extra self conscious

Noct:

Is super oblivious to your strength at first

Sleepy boy doesn’t pay attention

Finds himself always asking you to open jars for him

“Hey could you open this?” literally all the time

Finally realizes when you grab his arm to prevent him from bumping into something

He really should pay attention

Doesn’t mind that you’re so strong. In fact, he loves it.

Too stubborn to admit that he’s jealous of you

Will start to show off his strength to impress you

When he notices you are uncomfortable, he will go out of his way to convince you that he thinks you’re cool

Such a spaz

Like Prompto, your happiness is so important to him

FFXV Music Headcanons

I was listening to some music and playing FFXV and thought about what kind of music the chocobros would listen to…

Prompto: This sunshine chocobo is actually a punk kid who likes bands like System of a Down, Drowning Pool, Seether, etc. and occasionally enjoys some soft rock to chill to

Noctis: Prissy Prince is the type to flow with whatever. Of course, there are some genres he can’t stand but other than that he doesn’t really mind what’s playing as long as he can relax and take a nap

Gladiolus: Gladio looks like a metal head but is actually into classical and contemporary music. He likes to listen to Franz Liszt and settle down with a good book

Ignis: Iggy is a country guy. He can go for classical and anything native to Insomnia or Lestallum too

Okay but honestly, Iggy totally looks like a country guy 😂😂 These are just some head cannons I thought of. Feel free to tell me some of yours too!
