Synopsis:

Cfrry and y/n use the traffic light system and I think yellow has been used far more than red ever has. In the beginning especially when they were still exploring each others kinks and limits and just each others bodies in general.

I think Harry would use red to stop things when he can see y/n is just not in it emotionally or he can tell she wants to push through but needs a break. The couple uses sex to deal with their personal emotional problems, especially in the beginning and it truly is an outlet for them. I think there would be times where they thought sex and rough play would help but it was only making things worse, that’s when y/n would use it because of that aspect not a physical one.

In terms of rough play, physically it would never get to red purely because Harry checks in so much and would pull way back if yellow was used.
