You've never been fond of long distance relationships. But for him, you'll make it work. You lounge on your couch, doing whatever you can to not die of boredom. Dabi's always away. It doesn't even matter where he is, he's never with you. Whether he's on a mission with the league, or he's on his own mission doing god knows what. So of course, naturally, you tend to miss him. By quite a lot.

It's not like he even texts you or tells you when he's coming back. He just comes and goes.

The window's opened, and you can feel the cool breeze hit your skin. It's only afternoon time, and you just finished eating. Yawning, you decide to lay down on the couch instead. You would lay down on your bed, but you're too lazy to walk over. It's only when you hear a specific knock (that you memorized) that you get up. You open the door, and of course, you see your boyfriend on the doorstep.

He doesn't say much, going in and plopping down on the couch. You sigh, closing the door for him. You sit besides him, waiting for him to say something.

Unfortunately, you were the one who broke the silence. "You good?" you tried to examine his expression, but it was barely readable. You hear him huff before replying. "Dumb question. I'm never good," he shifted on the couch, getting more comfortable.

"Good to see you in one piece." you commented. Honestly, it truly was a surprise that he had no injuries. You'd expect him to come back with worsened burns, and you'd have to staple it back. "I always come back in one piece, princess." that made you roll your eyes.

"I think we both know that's a lie." you lean in closer to him. God, how long has it even been since you've seen him?

He glanced back at you, returning the eye roll. "Drama queen." You grabbed ahold of his hand, intertwining your fingers. "Missed you." you mumbled, looking into his eyes. He cocked an eyebrow, chuckling a bit at that. "I'm telling the truth, Dabi." you move closer, letting your head rest on his shoulder. "You're telling me you missed me? I'm basically a burnt corpse put back together, princess." Although his words, he doesn't protest to any of your actions. Your eyes remain on his burnt, stapled on skin. "Even though you have all these.. burns, you're still beautiful to me." you hummed in response. "I'm far from beautiful, but hey, who am I to complain?" he chuckles, bringing his hand up to your head, combing through your hair. You can only sigh at his words as you melted in his touch. "You like that?" he asks, tone slightly teasing. You nod into it, squeezing his hand.

He continues combing through your hair, letting his eyes rest on you. "Maybe I missed you too." he says through a sigh.

For some reason, you're one of the only things in his life that somehow grounds him. You're the only thing that breaks his rough exterior, and he doesn't mind.

Loved the new episode, I sure wasn't ready for Afomura becoming a thing so soon, like that scene is still... that

"Believe" and "Sketch" and now this one are like a Holy Trinity of Villain connected endings and this one FEELS like it belongs to MVA or something like that WAY MORE than the ED version of Believe did, even if the song was directly connected to Tomura and Izuku via text

that's just my "I want THIS SPECIFIC WAY" of wishing an ED was and I got what I wanted in a way with everyone from the LoV having their moment to shine (from the current arc aside from Compress) - so Spinner, Toga, Dabi and Tomura all have that. IN BOTH ED and OP

this is literally dabi, we actually see how he feels about his family only when he was a kid rather than now where he puts a facade of hatred, which is real to some extent but so is his love for his family even though he pretends he does not care, if he really didn’t care about how his family feels about him, he would have never went to such extents to prove a point

Ch 426 if Abiteth was involved.

Rough storyline under the cut.

Abiteth is let into whatever facility Touya is being kept in because she's an upstanding hero. She feigns her death at Touya's hands, and her family (quirk shenanigans led to them being undetected) murder anyone who comes across them. Due to more quirk shenanigans, the video feed for the area is largely corrupted. Security will only see what Abiteth's family wants them to see.

She asks Touya how much time he can give her, and he tells her a week, to which she states "that is more than enough" and smuggles him out of Japan to Germany. They are there for a week. They spend time together. Hawks and Enji are losing their SHIT back in Japan trying to figure out where Touya is and how he got out. Also yes Abiteth has more family shenanigans that is what gets her out of Japan and into the air before the heroes find out that anything has happened (canonically to her story, her cousin is Germany's #1 hero ✌️)

After caring for Touya in Germany (yes caring for him in every way because his body is LITERALLY DYING, and Touya asks her if being his caretaker disgusts her, to which she replies, "no. It is you and your body, and I love you and your body"). They talk. They see the aurora. They are intimate one last time*. At the end of the week, Touya tells Abiteth that he's ready and she prepares to fly him back to Japan. Touya's last words to her are, "I think I love you." He passes away in her arms. Abiteth never cried in front of him and she has a good long cry on the plane.

Hawks at this point did realize that Abiteth was not dead and goes to the airport with Enji/Rei after he's informed that a plane is landing in which the pilot openly stated they were "returning with Deviore and some special cargo". Abiteth has a cruel smile on her face when she disembarks from the plane with Touya's body in her arms.

She allows Hawks/Enji/Rei to be present for the funeral but insists on digging Touya's grave on her own until she can't uphold her facade anymore and she asks her father for help (he, her uncles, and her brother step in to help). Abiteth cries over Touya's corpse and pleads: “I want him back. Give him back to me. Give him back to me.”

After Touya is buried, Abiteth has some choice words for Hawks/Enji and then puts on her new mask, which is embedded with Touya's jaw and teeth, at which point she states the above AND pulls the Frankenstein pose.

*it is not specified how much of Touya's body remains intact, so I'm going with him having one functional arm and most of his body, but he looks very much like a burnt and then frozen corpse for the most part. Anyway this whole thing is like 17 pages long roughly and still going and I was gonna' draw it out but that'll take me years so you get this preview and a rough run-down instead.

Also Abiteth is pregnant BUT BUT BUT!! She is already at least two months along (not quite at the point of obviously showing her pregnancy) and she conceived BEFORE she stole Touya's dying body away to Germany.

Ever since you've laid your eyes on Dabi, you knew that his eyes were his defining feature. You would always notice his cerulean eyes glowing as he entered the room.

When he would get hurt, he would go to you, just because you took med school. You would just see him barge in your apartment all bloodied, and all he would say is, "A little help here, maybe?" with an expression to cover up the pain. "Dabi! What have you gotten into now?" It annoys you, how you could be enjoying life, then Dabi crashes into your place, asking for help. You hear him chuckle as you grab the needed supplies, then going back to help him. "It's not too deep, is it?" your eyes are fixated on the bloodied sleeve, then looking back at him. "Why, you care that much about me?" his brow raises, teasing you even though he has blood spilling out of his body. "Just answer it, Dabi." you roll your eyes, inspecting it again. "Just a scratch, honestly." he watches you intently. "Right, take it off." you stand up, getting something else from the cupboard he can't see from his view. "If you wanted me to remove my shirt, you could've asked me properly, princess." he watches you, wanting to see the look on your face. It's funny to him, really, how you barely have a reaction. "The coat, dumbass. Not unless you have a wound under the shirt." you sigh, waiting for him to comply. "Whatever you say." he takes off his coat, tossing it somewhere else. "Just a scratch, huh? If this were any deeper, it would need stitches." you stare at him, then sigh looking at it again.

"I already cleaned it anyways." you could almost tell he was rolling his eyes at you. "Right.." you start bandaging him up, letting your thoughts get to you. He actually has a nice physique, one you've only seen when he's hurt. God, you wish that wasn't the requirement. Speaking of.. "Don't you guys have a doctor over there?" you stop bandaging for a while, waiting for him to answer your question. "What of it?" his brow raises. "I mean, you could definitely go to Doctor Garaki, or whatever his name is whenever you get hurt." you roll your eyes, and continue to bandage up his wounds. "Well, I could, but he's too snappy. You're more gentler with me." his eyes soften, unfortunately you don't see it. "..Right. All done." you stand up, cleaning up whatever mess he made.

He takes a look at it, then shrugs. "You want some cookies?" you ask from the kitchen. He follows your voice, and sits down by the counter. You take out the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, then you went to get two plates. "All this for me, huh?" he takes a cookie from the tray, already taking a bite from it. You come back with two plates, and notice a cookie missing. "Dabi! I was gonna take a picture of it!" you groan, putting down the plates. "You still can. Just with my bitten cookie." he places back the cookie in the tray, basically half-eaten. "Ugh, now people will think I'm impatient for food." you take out your phone, getting ready to take a picture of it. "Or that you have a date." You freeze for a moment, and look back at him, seeing his signature half-smirk whenever he got you looking like a deer in headlights. "Shut up." you take a picture of it, then give the cookie back. You sit down just besides him, taking three cookies for both of you.

While you're eating, your hand reaches out to hold his. You expect Dabi to tease you for it, but instead his hand instinctively goes closer to yours. Your hand grazes over his and— his phone gets a notification. He checks it out. He suddenly stands up, and gets his still bloodied coat, heading for the door. "Where are you going?" you ask, just before he leaves. "Duty calls." you hear him say, just as the door closes.

You're left with two plates, one empty, one full.

The next time you see him is when he invites you to the League. It's an abandoned building somehow made better. The outside looks like it could crumble anytime, but the inside is pretty decent. Well, you've seen worse. You go inside, seeing Kuroguri immediately. He escorts you to where everyone is, and you see Dabi waiting for you. "I'm surprised you haven't gotten hurt and visited me yet." you hum, and follow him to see the others. "What, miss me already?" he laughs, opening the door for you. "Ladies first." you roll your eyes, and enter the room. You see them— Shigaraki, Toga, Spinner, Compress, all of them. You bow out of respect, until you hear Dabi say it's not needed.

After all the introductions, it was tiring. You wanted to go lie down in your bed, now that you have to live here, apparently. "Oh yeah, uh, where do I sleep?" you ask, feeling sleepy already. You hear Shigaraki mutter something, but he says this instead, "You can sleep with Toga." you nod— "She can stay with me instead." you hear Dabi say. "No fair! I wanted to see how her blood tasted like~" Right. Toga is.. Toga. You then follow Dabi out the room, and go inside his. "Oh, a king sized bed? Where'd you guys get this?" you sit down on the edge of the bed. "Stole it, obviously." he sits down besides you. "Dabi.." your hand reaches for his again. "Did Shigaraki really call you for something.. last time?" this time, your hand reached his. His brow raises, and he smirks at your gesture. " 'Course he did. Why would I leave those cookies?" you groan, "Oh, so it's just the cookies then?" you glare at him. Then, he squeezes your hand. "Don't get all grumpy with me. You know that's not what I mean." he looks back at you, his demeanour softer, somehow. "Then what do you mean?" you return the gaze, hoping to kiss him. "Well—"

You hear Toga say something ahout a mission from the door, which then fades out. His hand slips from yours, and you're left dumbfounded. "Dabi-" it's gonna happen again, isn't it? "Maybe next time, princess." it's another mission, huh.
