new wip new wip new wip 🔪
well, really more of a wipette if you will. i’ve decided to spin together Imogen’s story pre-book 1. which is like 100 years before, actually. so here’s a little treat of a much younger Madeleine saying something so mean it totally gives Imogen a complex about her smell for… well, life.

Madeleine Cosworth - 1579
Madeleine has been called the Matron of la commune de Louis. She was one of the first people who started living on what is now Narkos. She made farms on the inhospitable land that is only summer for two months of the whole year. She raised all the children whose parents had passed away from hypothermia and starvation. Madeleine impacted the lives of all she touched. Many of the children she raised wrote down about what good she did for their community and the impact that she has made on Narkos because of it.

the age of change (37573 words) by thestalwartheart Chapters: 8/? Fandom: James Bond (Craig Movies) Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: James Bond/Q, James Bond & Madeleine Swann, Eve Moneypenny & Q Characters: James Bond, Q (James Bond), Original Child Character(s) Additional Tags: Post-Movie: SPECTRE (2015), Developing Relationship, Childhood Trauma, Canon-Typical Violence, Angst with a Happy Ending, Casual Sex, Friends With Benefits, Friends to Lovers Summary:
Q wouldn’t call himself a brave man. Bravery was for agents. Firefighters. Soldiers. The sorts of people who faced the flesh-and-blood realities of life and death. Q had never been made for it.
---
Q doesn't think he has it in him to face what he must face. Unfortunately, life happens anyway.
Bookmarker's Notes:
Bookmarking right from the get go. Even though I've only read the first two chapters, I am HERE for this premise and how it will unfold. Reader, I don't want to tell you much other than to say the storytelling is superb, the relationship between Q + Bond intrigues me, and the potential for what is going to happen looks fantastic. (Yes I'm being VaGuE because you need to read it yourself to see what I mean!) ENJOY!
UPDATE AFTER READING CH 8: Reader, are you with us on the journey yet? Because it's a f a b u l o u s one. I'm loving the variety of OCs @thestalwartheart weaves in and out of the story. Ditto the parts of the story focused on the central mission. And then--wow!-- the friendship dynamics between Q and Moneypenny are sometimes steadying, other times a brisk, swift nudge; the shift in relationship dynamics between Q and Bond, and Bond and Dr Swann, and Q and Dr Swann keep us all on our toes; and the relationship between Q and his father is ever so poignant.
See you in comments!

(TW for everything)
*in lestat’s voice*
so, let’s talk about our gorgeous murder gremlin armand. in the books, he canonically:
- burned his own paris coven alive after lestat destroyed their centuries old belief (TVL)
- let louis kiII his second paris coven (IWTV)
- tortured nicki with his coven while he was still human, because he was angry at lestat (TVL part 4, ch 2)
- tortured lestat to force him to say claudia’s name as the guilty vampire (TVL, epilogue, ch 1)
- mentally manipulated and vampirically raped lestat (TVL, part 5, ch 1)
- threw lestat off a tower when he came to him to beg for help (TVL, epilogue, ch 1)
- told louis that lestat was dead and didn’t tell the truth for decades (IWTV, part 4)
- told lestat that louis was dead and didn’t tell him the truth for decades again (IWTV-TVL)
- mentally manipulated louis to make him turn madeleine into a vampire (IWTV, part 3)
- telepathically kept telling claudia to die/kill herself/leave louis to himself (IWTV, part 3)
- tortured daniel for days (QOTD, part 1, ch 4)
- drew daniel to absolute insanity for a decade (QOTD, part 1, ch 4)
- locked nicki up and cut off his hands so that he couldn’t play his violin like crazy anymore (TVL, part 6, ch 3)
- scalped his human victim because he was curious (TVA, part 1)
and so on. and you’re mad that they— *checks notes* ruined his character on the show by making him the villain? am i correct? he is literally one of the most iconic villains in literature. also, shouldn’t we be glad that they didn’t show him actually torturing claudia by cutting her head off and stitching it on a woman’s body before the trial? while she was still alive? (TVA part 2)
why do you need him to be a saint to be able to love him? he should be a lovable character to the viewers despite and because of the stuff he has done, no? are you sure you're built to consume gothic fiction?
Tumblr media
"what about the things lestat did?" i literally made a list of lestat's crimes and never shut up about it and you're yet again proving my point. this is not an attack on armand. he's my favorite right after lestat. i wrote fact threads on twitter for both of them. i know my material.

Ch. 17 of Dammit finally expands on Javert’s blatant pass at Valjean in Montreuil, which is the divergence point between it and The Dammit AU: Fuckin’ Montreuil. I don’t know that I’ll ever expand enough on the AU to post on AO3, so, here:
***
Obligation keeps him at the event until its close, when there’s some matters of paperwork around the donations collected through the night, but he dodges the round of self-congratulation among the organizers that follows on the excuse of needing air. He’s wistful, at such times, to have given up smoking: it makes a natural escape. He will accept some awkwardness, Cathy Womack’s knowing glance: after all, he’s no politician, in need of winning that game, and if he’s learned effective charitable giving requires social networking, well, he has money enough to play eccentric, too. He finds a chair on the back porch of the town hall, which overlooks a sharp drop-off planted with calico bush, heavily in fruit, and he feels the temptation to take cuttings—there’s that spot of poor soil that looks altogether too bare of flowers, in summer, that has good enough drainage to—
The door behind him opens, and he pivots in his chair. Makes his expression exceedingly pleasant as he greets, “Why, hello, officer.”
“Mr. Madeleine,” he drawls—Jean Valjean has never been able to quite place his accent, but he recognizes—empathizes with—an effort to sound middle class, whatever’s underneath. “I think we’re the last ones here.” He heels the door closed behind him and strolls to the chair opposite, resting one hand on the back.
“Call me John,” he invites, for the—is it the second or third time? “I saw you circulating.” Difficult not to; of the people in Montreuil who are taller, none were present, and none even of those can boast shoulders quite so broad. “Not on official business, I hope.”
“Do you?” He gives him the flat, searching stare to which he is so very unpleasantly inclined, which is like being caught under the beam of a high-powered flashlight: it will not penetrate or burn, but it’s damned unpleasant. “Father Inez convinced me the church ladies needed another set of hands for set-up and break-down. I’ve spent the last thirty minutes hauling folding tables and chairs into a back room. But then, if I had known you would be here, I might have assumed there was enough muscle available for the job, and declined. —It’s too damn hot, isn’t it, for late summer?” He shrugs out of his sport coat, tossing it over the back of the chair, and sits, thumbing open the top button on his shirt as he does so.
If he stands and leaves now, how terrible a faux pas will it be? Fairly bad, he hazards. “Ah.” No, last time they spoke at any length Javert stared at him until he came up with an actual comment. He’s fucking patient. “Yes, I’ve certainly had to keep on top of watering my garden.”
“Really? I hear you’re out on the east side of town, little bit out of the way. Fair bit of property out there? Might be you have a long hose, then.”
Jean Valjean gives him a bemused look, just shy of impolite. “No, I’m afraid I’m too busy to do more than keep a few raised beds, so the hose is average. As to the rest of the property, it fends for itself. I keep it natural.”
Javert tilts his head, eyes narrowing, as if he’s been posed a riddle. “Well, nothing wrong with that. Average and natural—matters of taste. I don’t mind.”
“Ah,” tries Jean Valjean, uncertain.
Javert looks wry, then he says, voice pitched oddly low, “I’m further out than you—down south. Long gravel drive, and the privacy balances the inconvenience of washing the car regular. Maybe you could give me some pointers. I have a long hose handy already.”
Even further uncertain, Jean Valjean asks, “What did you buy a long hose for, if you’re not gardening?”
“Well, no, I didn’t mean the actual—” He clears his throat. “Though one did come with the property.”
“Oh,” says Jean Valjean.
Javert sighs, mutters what sounds rather like fuck it, leans forward in his chair—reaches out a hand—
Jean Valjean clutches at the arm of the chair—makes a noise he does not recognize from himself, an animal grunt, mindless with the sensation of unexpected weight on his—his groin—he normally dresses right; body parts shifted, today, as happens—God help him—he thinks it’s a threat, Javert could not have intended this intimate contact, and Jean Valjean should knock those long fingers away, he should stand—he should—he seizes Javert by the forearm, feels the heavy muscle there cord, and waits for the moment when he will clench his fingers and do harm, hesitating in his vulnerability to initiate that violence by shoving him away.
Instead Javert strokes his thumb across the head of shamefully firming flesh, squeezes firmly over the shaft, strokes down all the way to his knee, a moment of reprieve, then reverses—terrible—cups his palm over—Javert bends close, mouth near his ear, and growls, “You should invite me over.”
“You should—” Jean Valjean, helpless, chases sensation with a twitch of his hips.
“—yes, come over. I know your address.”
The hair prickles on the back of his neck.
Javert releases him, casually brushes away his lax hand, and stands. “This evening?”
No, please. Jean Valjean looks up into those empty blue eyes, that suspicion, the police embodied bent a little over him, sharp with a lust which abruptly clarifies otherwise baffling behaviors, and feels the risk not to his own flesh but to Javert—in having made the offer, alone. There’s a telling stiffness in trousers others than his own, close by his face. Of the two of them, Jean Valjean senses he loses less by fucking, though it’s—he will pray on it—God will, probably, forgive. “Yes. This evening.”

Hydrogen Anon, I know I'm back rather quickly, but I'm gonna talk about Creme Republic in the Self Aware AU because it's my favourite location in the game.
Some Cookie Odyssey Spoilers--
The Creme Republic would probably first take notice of Gingerbrave and company sometime around Chapter 10, possibly before, seeing as at the start of Cookie Odyssey, it's established they had tabs on the Ancient Heroes. Though the small group of people with access to this information would all be rather confused..
How are a group of young teens with a thief no less, able to go to all these locations and manage this?? So they keep even closer eyes on the group, maybe even sending some cookies to watch them in their travels. This is when they find out about MC, which is seemingly this mysterious sentient being, hiding away, yet advising them every time they get into a fight..
Weird.
I also imagine that if MC ever ends up in Earthbread by some ridiculous circumstance, this would probably be a very, not bad per se.. (there is duskgloom and beast yeast after all). But just not great place to land in. You're in a city with no money, and people are giving you weird looks because you clearly aren't from here and don't know where you're going.
(Going thru some characters) - beware very ooc.
I feel like Clotted Cream would just be completely thrown for a loop, it kind of made sense until he was told that the cookies had never actually heard this figure "speak", MC just guided them into a battle formation and then they'd win. It sounds completely ludicrous. I think that CCC wouldn't suspect MC to be a higher power initially, but would suspect MC, whatever they were, had some level of strategic genius to lead a group that effectively, all while never actually being seen.
Financier and Madeleine don't initially think MC is a celestial or anything, that's jumping the gun a little, in fact when the Council of Heroes happens they find MC a little unnerving, MC has eyes everywhere, nobody can see them, and they never say anything. MC just keeps watching. By the time Ch.2 and 3 roll around they get convinced though. MC literally guided all of them, helping in fighting the masked cookies, as well as defending the republic when DE attacked, when they finally witness MCs bizarre guidance in person they walk away with a really different perception, MC being some kind of celestial isn't completely impossible.
When news of the weird entity reaches the elders, they've all got radically different perceptions of MC, (I won't go thru them all it will take forever) - I think Caviar wouldn't care in the slightest what they were, if they really are some higher power, and so far, mute, they probably won't be telling anyone anytime soon, speculation is fine, but the more important issue is if they're a threat or not, and so far, despite their suspicious demeanor they haven't *really* done anything bad.
Honestly I have no idea where Oyster would stand on this, wherever she stands though, she probably keeps her opinion very secretive, though. Or holds off on making assumptions until they have more information.
I'll do Expresso too, screw it. He subscribes to the belief that you're a cookie with incredibly powerful magic, plain and simple. (I could also see him not caring either, but in this case I imagine curiousity getting the better of him).
Though--out of the lot he finds MC the most unnerving, for exactly that reason. If they are a cookie, why do they never show themselves or speak, even in emergencies??
I hope you liked my *very* out of character rambles about the Creme Republic, use these HC how you want, they aren't very good lmfao.
Hello again Hydrogen, welcome back.
I do believe that CCC are very confused about Mc and want to find some understanding not liking how they know nothing of them.
I think when Mc first landed in Earthbread I felt like everyone at first could see them but for right now so unknown things happen where they are not invisible but only those they chose can see them.
And I think that the Mc can talk but when that unknown thing happened it kind of messed up their way of speaking. Kind of like tinkerbell where all you hear are bells when she speaks or they don't need to say anything but yet they still know what they are saying, or some form of sign language.
Just imagine those cookies shocked and confused when they see Mc leading them to battle. But I think Mc really cares about the main squad as to them they are also confused about this new place.
But I do think after Mc helps out with fighting the masked cookies more about their existence started to be talked about.
I do like your self aware hc better than what I can do, does make me want to write oneshots.

How the Court is Allowed to View A Polyglot Kiara
More photodumping for the upcoming Drake and Kiara essay!
So this is a compilation of the times I remember Kiara's skill with languages being viewed with disbelief, disdain or disrespect. There may be others, but these are the earliest ones and often the people who say it get away with saying it:
TRR1 Ch 16 - If the MC chooses "dare" at the Truth or Dare game, and calls Madeleine acting as a member of the press:
Tumblr media
(Screenshots from the HIMEME YouTube channel)
TRR1 Ch 18 - A dialogue option where the MC can "quiz" Kiara on which other languages she knows:
Tumblr media
(Screenshots by the My Choices (Fabbylous) channel)
(Possibly Inaccurate Translation: Good day (German), my friend (Spanish). Are you happy (Italian, though I get the sense that she's saying it sarcastically like...when someone says "satisfied??" after they've answered a stupid question you asked).
TRR2 Ch 4 - At the garden party in Applewood, when Madeleine is sending veiled threats to Hana about getting a suitor:
Tumblr media
(Screenshots from the Skylia YouTube channel)
Madeleine engages in a bizarre play of exoticization against Kiara in this scene, and her "advice" to her fails dramatically (but perhaps that was the intention?) when Rashad is unable to even understand either Kiara's French or German. As you can see from these screenshots, Kiara herself is not happy with this suggestion.
TRR2 Ch 14 - Gossiping with Adelaide
One of your gossiping options (the one that fails) is if you compliment Kiara ("Did you know that Kiara speaks more than just French?"), which gets a pretty negative response from Adelaide:
Tumblr media
(Screenshots from @cassiopeiacorvus)
Ironic how this is one of the rare times the MC can truly compliment Kiara on her skills...and she's shot down for it!! Also it's funny how "nobody cares about Kiara's linguistic prowess" yet there are more than enough people out there just pouncing to discredit it and pretend she's lying!
TRR3 Ch 7 - Before meeting Kiara at her estate:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Screenshots from the HIMEME YouTube channel)
There is plenty I hate about this scene (more on that in the essay) but I find it extremely sus that this shitty attitude towards Kiara's most prominent skill is allowed to go on without any pushback for three fucking books.

Whispers of Distant Souls - Ch.15 sneak peek (#2)
“Is this a quick quip about how old I am?” Leonardo questions as he raises a brow, ready to retaliate at any second.
Blue points at the show and immediately a gunshot sounds and a body dramatically falls onto a line of pillars, making sure to touch each and every one.
Leonardo quietly gasps, “Who was that? Who shot her?”
“Basilio shot Magdalena because she tried to poison his mother,” Blue answers and leans on Leonardo’s side.
“Who is Basilio? And isn’t Magdalena the main character? She can’t die,” Leonardo questions further as he leans back into the couch, sinking into the cushions with Blue.
Blue gets comfortable next to Leonardo, using the elder as a pillow as he mumbles, “Madeleine is the main character. Magdalena is her cousin, Basilio is her lover.”
Leonardo nods and watches as flashing red and blue lights occupy the screen before it transitions to dramatic, blurry photos that recap the episode with the ending song. The elder groans, “It’s already over? Play it from the start.”
Blue nods, “This is Season 2 Episode 5. Should I play it from the beginning beginning?”
“Please,” Leonardo replies quickly.
Totally didn’t get this from watching my lola watch teleseryes, she still gets so captivated by her shows to the point she forgets everything around her—including the fire on the stove that she always blasts on extremely high. Keeps us on our toes hahah
I love the idea that Blue and F!Leo would watch their dramas together, but I think they’d love the teleserye trash my grandma likes. I remember seeing in passing an edit from one of my lola’s teleseryes where it just kept switching cameras between two characters’ shocked expressions as a fake child walked very slowly toward the street that had one car
Anyways, i think I’ll split this chapter in two hehe just so we get all the teens bonding with F!Leonardo hahaha (well, that and I don’t want to edit a 10k word chapter)

Pairing: Hana Lee x MC (Riley) (mentioned). Hana Lee. Madeleine Amaranth. Summary:  While Hana contemplates how everything will change after Riley's name is cleared, she gets some unexpected company. Set during TRR 2. Genre:  Angst Rating: T Word Count: 900 Notes: I have always contemplated how Madeleine had feelings for Hana and decided to write this. Set at TRR 2 ch 16 (parallel to the scene Liam proposes to MC). This could work both as Hana's train of thought before the balcony scene (Hana's route) or as a scene to establish Madeleine's feelings for her. I had fun with it! Hope you will.
Warning: it doesn't depict graphic violence, but it may be a bit uncomfortable.
It was a fine night. Or it was supposed to be a fine night. Hana was sure at some place in New York some couple was having the best time of their lives right now.
She chuckles lightly to herself. "Some". She would keep it as vague as possible in her head. If she could pretend she didn't know Liam had planned an special night for Riley, she could lavish in the feeling the woman she loved wasn't far off her reach for just a little while longer.
If only she hadn't read Maxwell's text. Now not only she knows Riley will wake up tomorrow as the future Queen of Cordonia, she'll have to come up with something to justify the note she slipped through Riley's door. With her extraordinary ability of lying.
She hid herself in the rooftop of the hotel that night, and let the gentle breeze sweep through her hair while she mindlessly paced around. Only yesterday she had found herself so close to Riley. They had strolled around New York and Hana delighted in seeing Riley in her element and in being invited into it. Shaking her head, she feels that damn oppressive tightness in her chest yet again, and finds herself fighting the urge to kick some imaginary rock on the tile floor.
She knew cleaning Riley's name would change things. Did it have to take less than 24h?
Clenching her jaw, she looks for a secluded spot where she could sit and just let the hours go by. Her whole plan was to keep the abstract far away down the street New York citizens as her company. It was fascinating observing how time seemed to move differently for all those people, with some idly moving while others dashed swiftly. Were they on their way to change their lives or was it just another ordinary day?
"You think that with your intelligence you would've made a better choice than to handle her right over to him".
Startled by the unexpected voice, Hana's eyes widen as she turns around trying to make out the intruder's face. "I'm- I'm sorry?" her words come out disarranged as she grips the railing of the balcony, her heart pounding.
"Riley." The shadow replies coming closer, a low grumble piercing through the silence.
"Oh, Madeleine." with a tentative smile, Hana holds her hand to her chest as Madeline leans against the wall. "Good evening. I'm not sure I follow."
"Is all that innocence real? Or are you just exceptionally skilled at faking it?"
Hana tilts her head to the side and gawks back at Madeline, opening her mouth ready to protest, although not exactly sure to what. Madeline simply scoffs, narrowing her eyes back to Hana. "You're in love with Riley."
"I, I--" Hana stumbles, only to be cut short by Madeline waving a hand at her. "Yes, you. Save it, Hana. You're far too good to manage to lie or deceive anyone."
Hana blinks and stares down, her head filling with a muffled but sharp sound. The other woman pushes herself off the wall, stiletto heels connecting hard against the floor. "I know you're in love with her. Anyone with eyes can tell that." Madeleine sneers, putting one hand on each side of Hana's, trapping her against the railing. "What gets to me is why did you never do anything about it?"
The smell of bourbon coming off from the blonde was numbing to Hana. It was a powerful contrast to the softness of Madeleine's skin and the floral essence of her perfume. Hana kept moving her face to side to side to try and clear her thoughts "I... I didn't want to impose."
"Do you imagine yourself going any far in life by regarding your wishes as impositions?"
"Why are..."
"And to help her clear her name and become eligible again." Tightening the corner of her lips in a lopsided smile, Madeleine moves one hand to brush away a lock off of Hana's eyes, surprising her with the gentleness of the action. "Just why would you do that?"
"I... I wasn't going to let her be slandered-“
"You weren’t going to let her be slandered," Madeline mocks, disdain dripping through every word.
"...Only because it would decrease her chances of being chosen by him."
Getting impossibly closer, Madeline reaches for the back of Hana's head and brings her voice into a whisper, "How is that serving you right now? You're here pathetically mourning her."
That snaps Hana back into herself. She might not know well how to read people, or she might have grown up sheltered and manipulated, or maybe not. She wasn’t sure of much, but she knew she was so tired of letting people walk over her. She straightens her posture and pushes Madeleine off with enough force the blonde staggers, losing her footing for a moment.
"And how has all your ambition served you so far, Madeleine?" she grits her teeth, now her turn to invade the other woman's space. "As far as I can see, we are both morning the same event, with the exception I at least have made a friend, while you are collecting enemies. Excuse me."
She strides away feeling a renewed sense of confidence. In her heart she knew she meant it, regardless of Madeleine's or anyone else's opinion. Meeting Riley has deeply changed her, and even though she still needed to learn how to navigate through this new side of herself, she could bask in the fact she was on her way to be her own person and nobody would this away.
If she had looked back and noticed Madeleine's expression, she would've seen the woman pressing her lips into a tight line, her eyes not holding still and the rapid up and down of her chest. She would've noticed how this night has changed everything in more ways than one, and that there was also another woman being faced with the path of completely changing herself.

its been so long im so sorry school and crap and all—
Okay so The PV all wait for Clotted Cream to come out and while they wait Red Velcet and Clover mentions how strange kid clotted cream acted and RV mentions how he clearly has eyebags. As he said that, Clotted comes in. He deeply apologizes how he acted, and immediately gave them tea. They all have small chat and etc. knight cookie asks him his relationship with his father. He choked on his tea.
And his response is this: “I’ll be honest; calling him my father makes me sick. I hate him.”
He immediately changed the conversation and they talk more. Night came and they all sleep in Finanicier’s house.
morning comes and everyone is awake. Except Clotted and Custard III. Everyone heats footsteps and sees Custard III holding onto a sleepy Clotted Cream WHO IS BACK TO NORMAL!!!?! Woohooo!!!
Clotted Cream says that he had a weird dream and Clover jokingly said, “A dream that you were a kid and slowly aging back to normal?” Creampuff elbowed him. Clotted Cream confusingly said yes. Everyone laughs and Clotted Cream is still confused.
First off, I understand about school. I've been there. It's a pain. Second, I'm excited about this one.
*Set immediately after Financier invited the Pure Lily family inside (and Clover gets Red Velvet back to deal with this issue). After a few minutes, Financier offers to make tea for the family while they all waited for Clotted Cream.*
Clover: I have to admit...Kid Clotted Cream is nothing like Adult Clotted Cream usually is. He's a bit more...
Red Velvet: Snappy? Yeah. *Sips his tea* And not to mention how big his eye bags are. They're bigger than when we first met. Why is that?
*As he finished saying that, Clotted Cream came back down to the living room with a book in hand. Everyone looked over at him with concern.*
Pure Vanilla: Oh! Hello Clotted Cream. How are you doing?
Clotted Cream: *mutters* Oh...my...Divine Light. It wasn't a dream.
White Lily: *hesitates* No. We're here.
Clotted Cream: *bows* I'm so sorry! I...I didn't know you were actually real!
Pure Vanilla: I-it's alright! It may have been a bit much for all of us to appear at once, especially when you've never met us before. We should be the ones to say sorry.
*The whole family apologizes, leaving Clotted Cream flustered.*
Clotted Cream: I...Um...Thank you. I...will help Financier with the tea.
*Clotted Cream left for the kitchen and the Pure Lily family smiled. After a good ten minutes passed, Clotted Cream and Financier came back with a teapot and multiple tea cups. This soon leads into a small conversation about what Kid Clotted Cream remembered so far.*
Clotted Cream: The last thing I remembered was studying the politics of the Crème Republic. Then I woke up in...your house.
Madeleine: We see. It was...our fault.
Knight: Yeah...we asked your father to have both you and your brother in this kingdom. Just before your birthday.
*Clotted Cream flinched when his father was mentioned. Clover noticed this first.*
Clover: Something wrong?
Clotted Cream: That doesn't sound like something Elder Custard would do.
Clover: Did you address your father as Elder Custard? Why?
Clotted Cream: I’ll be honest; calling him my father makes me sick. I hate him. *looks away*
Red Velvet: *knowing what is happening, he points at the book Clotted Cream was holding* That book. What is it about?
Clotted Cream: *looks at the book before his eyes started twinkling* It's my favorite book. It's about a captain rescuing his lover from her evil mother...
*The rest of the conversation was spent talking about the book Clotted Cream was reading. Before long, it was nighttime. It was too late for the Pure Lily family to travel back to the Vanilla District, so they stayed the night with Financier (much to her dismay).*
*The next morning, Clotted Cream opened his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling and a slight pounding headache. He looked down to see Custard III sleeping next to him while holding his favorite book from his childhood.*
Clotted Cream: (Where...am I? What was that dream about? And why is Custard Cream sleep in his usual clothes?) *Nudges Custard III* Custard Cream. Wake up.
*Custard III stirred and started to rub his eyes. Once the young Cookie was fully awake, he looked up to see a now correctly aged Clotted Cream.*
Custard III: Big brother!! *Jumps to hug Clotted Cream*
Clotted Cream: Woah! What's that about?
*Custard III doesn't say anything. Instead, he dragged (as best as could) Clotted Cream out the guest bedroom and down the stairs. In the living room was the whole Pure Lily family and Financier talking.*
Custard III: Everyone! Look!
*Everyone looked at their direction and shock engulfed their faces. It was only ten seconds before everyone ran up to Clotted Cream and hugged him.*
Financier: Great Celestial Lights! You're okay!
Red Velvet: It's finally over.
Clotted Cream: What are you guys talking about? I saw you guys last night, didn't I? I did have a weird dream.
Clover: *trying not to laugh/freak out* A dream that you were a kid and that you were slowly aging back to your current age? *Cream Puff elbows him*
Clotted Cream: *confused tilt* Yes? How did you know?
*Everyone started to nervously laugh, leaving Clotted Cream even more confused.*
Clotted Cream: What?
Red Velvet: We'll explain later.
