Agust D is the rapper stagename for BTS member Suga. He has two ‘mixtapes’ out, available on Spotify - and I encourage you to check them out bc I’m not a kpop stan, but his solo works hit differently than the whole group’s manufactured kpop industry sound. he can actually rap, very lyrically nimble, verses with a bite to them, deeply personal writing, and he retains a lot of creative control over his solo stuff.

in terms of a song of his with the same melancholic feel, the only one would be the last song from the first self-titled album: ‘So Far Away’, dueted with SURAN. There’s also a version sung with other members of BTS (Jin and Jungkook) which is not on spotify, and I like both versions at different times.

the all boys one is sweeter and more acoustic (it was done for a festa/live performance i think), and the official one with Suran has these nice electric guitar wails in the back that scratch my inner emo kid itch

The tree and flowers are callback to the first ep/ch scene, when Eren jolted awake under a tree surrounded by blue flowers, which now grew where his scars should be. He got arms & legs cut off, beheaded, multiple head injuries, a wooden beam stabbed thru his chest while pinned under tons of rubble, hurt an eye at some point, has to self-injure to transform.. let my son rest pls  😭 (also the words are lyrics from a song called So Far Away by Agust D ft. Suran, the whole song perfectly fits Eren)

I realized that I shouldn’t be allowed to mindlessly scroll through tumblr late at night because then I read all the asks and make myself upset. Not because of the follower interaction because yes queens you all deserve the love but because it baffles me how stupid people can be for absolutely no reason. For example I’m aware that I do it sometimes but I just don’t see the hype behind some artists collaborations with BTS but it’s not because I hate them but merely because I don’t vibe with their music. Does that make sense, like everyone hyped up h*lseys song that feature Yoongi but to me her friendship with them seems so fake. Who needs to bring up their friendship with someone when they’re both famous? Like we get it, we’ve seen pictures you posted but like at every turn since BWL she’s found a way to bring them up or mention that they were friends? Where as Ch*rlie Cxc only promoted their song right before it came out! Mind you I had no idea who either of those artists were before the collab just because I don’t listen to the radio and I’m very picky with the music I listen to. It usually takes me a long time to actually pay attention to the words in songs because I mostly listen to the beats in the back before the actual lyrics so if the beat is catchy and I like it enough I’ll listen to it. Its why I love winter flower, we don’t talk together, and song request but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the champion remix any less because fall out boy are amazing and one of my favorite bands, or even the idol remix. I love those songs and I love that BTS are finally in a position where people want to hear what their next song, or next album sounds like, that all these artists are tripping over themselves to collaborate or even have them produce their next song. Because we all know they would’ve been written off had they still been the underdogs from the small almost bankrupt company. I wasn’t a full army when the thing with Suran happened but even then it was stupid to me. I’m not saying I’m looking forward to the IU collab because in truth I could care less about it what I’m saying is that if your opposed to them working with people outside of their company and of the opposite gender then just don’t listen to the song/album. It’s easier to just move on if your not interested instead of protesting and causing a fuss since that does nothing but give both parties horrible impressions of the others. It’s why we as ARMYS are often seen in a negative light, you either hype them up or tear them down it’s your choice but for me im gonna sit back watch I probably won’t listen to it and it’ll be there but it won’t bother me either.
