•yes chimeras can look like this. they don't all look the exact same ofc, and split-face torties exist, but a chimera CAN be this

•dilute ginger tabby w/ green eyes + non-dilute black-brown colorpoint tortie w/ vitiligo and yellow eyes. here's the seperates;

•hair tufts that look like antenna

•vitiligo spots are supposed to resemble stars in the night sky

•red-orange patches resemble a blood moon

•double crescent moon stripes

•pale underbelly looks like crashing waves with the moon above

•curled tail and flopped ear since I wanted her to still be longtailed but look like a rabbit (cuz yk, the jade rabbit on the moon)

•her eyes are the same colors as my Firestar/Rustfire design (this is a total coincidence, please refer to *headcanon 2)

•i forgot her curled ear crescents but I'm too lazy to go back and fix that

•this design will 100% change, I am incredibly indecisive [times changed: 1]

(yes ik the shading and lighting looks like crap, Im not very good at it yet :( and yeah the bg looks gross too, I barely draw bg's so I don't have much practice..)

You know what I already had moonpaw and all related tags blocked because I'm sick of hearing about her and all the inevitable hating this fandom loves to do but now that we got a canon description its even worse. Like. her parents are cousins and she's in thunder clan. At least she's not fucking gray. I really don't think the erins misinterpreting what a chimera is is that big of a deal considering its a story about magic talking cats and is already notoriously bad at genetics. Like damn asc was almost good in the second half (knocking on wood) but now we're back to this.

TORTIE CHIMERA MOONPAW DESIGN CANON LETS GOOOOOOO!!!

oh my god, I love the fact that they made her a chimera with the eyes and fur too. that's fcking awesome. SHES NOT A GRAY CAT. YES 😭

ALSO, I notice a lot of interesting things about this. A lot of her information boxes, like mentor, sibling, rank, and the box at the very top is ripped apart, as well as the letters being smudged and blurred. This is a very interesting details, which suggests that there's something not quite right going on here with Moonpaw. I am VERY satisfied with how Moonpaw turned out, the Erins are doing good so far...!!!
