Randomly remembered that “favorite animal” post and realized I did not include grackles in the tags. Shameful!!!

Grackles are great cuz they are mother fuckers

Nothing cheers me up faster than seeing a grackle hopping and skipping away from bigger birds while holding a bundle of french fries in its tiny beak, literally could fly away but chooses to flaunt its bouquet of potato. Fuckhead behavior.

I figured the greater antillean grackle (or Chango was well call them) were the only ones like this, but when I went to the US, i was so delighted to find out the grackles here were slightly bigger but overall The Same personality. Bastard across borders.

I love pigeons too, but there’s amusement in seeing grackles literally trick pigeons into dropping their food.

Also look at this please. This is what a bird that lives in La Perla and tricks pigeons out of their money looks like.

I saw the Trick newsletter for this month, though, with them holding the plushie, and my brain randomly thought that it’d be cool to have all the other genderqueer folk do that, as well, and so....... HERE’S THAT!!! ...Unless I missed somebody? I don’t think I did, but I might’ve???

And for those more daring, I made a version with a couple Syrup 2 characters, so, uh... character spoilers for Syrup 2 I guess!!! (Mostly just in a way of “these characters exist and they’re genderqueer”.) Syrup 2 character version!!!

TRUTH the fandom's collective silence on chango is deafening. to be real i am so glad you brought up one of my favorite little jover things, which is they both did literally the same stupid thing under the exact same circumstances, completely independent of each other. and IT KILLS ME!!!!!! it's a magic soulmate moment. neither character even realizes it happened. whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same
