He likes to tease people, but it usually doesn't go too far

He especially likes swimming and being in the water

He's pretty outgoing, very confident and very loud. Obvious extrovert.

Rewatching Adventure Time, I can't help but think so much Princess Bubblegum discourse would be non-existent if people actually watched the show to completion instead of randomly hyperfocusing on some of PB's bad deeds.

There's a very bizarre and commonly held belief that Princess Bubblegum did terrible things and got away with it, that nobody held her accountable. When the show makes a point, repeatedly, that Princess Bubblegum is well meaning but deeply flawed, and to some characters, straight up evil.

I see fans point to "The Cooler" a lot as proof that PB is an irredeemable character, and while it is her worst act in the entire show.... I think people forgot that that was the point. Near the end of the episode she stops spying on people in Ooo because it was an invasion of privacy. In another episode she's called out for exploiting some aliens and lets them go. She feels ashamed that her own people are terrified of her. She loses her entire kingdom, and realizes she needs to get her shit together.

I'm pretty critical of shows that are way too lenient on flawed female characters but Princess Bubblegum isn't one of them. She's awesome, and heavily misunderstood.

6. how have they changed in the last year? how about the last five years?

oh this is tough to answer but I don't think they've changed much! they have a. very particular worldview of things. and I don't think that worldview had been challenged until they had to face a crisis v recently and that worldview is still intact! bc it's the only thing they know to be: a warden and a protector.

38. do they see themselves as an important part of their party?

ooooo I think finn is. very much a flight risk still. it's less "am I important to them" and more "are they important to me." bc to aer rn, something else someone else is always more important than the party than life itself. and they will bend the laws of heaven and hell to find her!

61. is there an in-game moment of theirs you think about and just laugh?

aaaaaa I really enjoy making clown characters so there are many moments, like changing into a huge caterpillar in the middle of a festival square (thanks to a VERY hearty aid from The Academic) or playing rocks-papers-scissors with Schrodinger to determine if the two of them should pursue the sound of dragging feet in an underground cavern system (Orion wanted to but Schrodinger won!) as the rest of the party slept soundly.

but I think my fave has to be the time orion deadass charged at a lich's body (I say body bc the academic had severed the head and deadass ran downstairs with it it was HILARIOUS) so orion ran headfirst towards the lich and w a misty step assist, — what you as an observer would've seen was a duergar running full-speed and then disappearing for a split-second only to reappear five feet away from a lich and crashed-land into the lich's headless body and grapple that mf as the rest of the party beats the shit out of the headless lich. the lich is unable to shake orion off no matter how hard he tried and orion only clings on harder as the rest of the party has a stomp-fest on the lich's phalactery and the academic runs downstairs with the severed skull it was funny as fuck, team work makes the dream work!

17. they’re crying—what did it take to make them cry?

oh NOO this is. something that will happen fr VERY SOON in the campaign probably next session bc tahsin took a major fortune fallout and got marked as an enemy by The Church (a pantheon of recognised legal gods who consider Tahsin an apostate bc she worships the Raven Queen and The Raven Queen is shunned from the Church's pantheon— I know, tumblr user seafleece's lore-builduing is EXQUISITE) and I think she's VERY CLOSE to a mind fallout too, she is very stressed and Station (the guy who marks her as an enemy) was able to somehow magically bring her to her knees and, with the culmination of everything of being so far from home and feeling alone and trusting The Raven Queen like a hapless child trusts the one parental figure they think will look out for them unequivocally only to feel extremely scared of the power that stands to oppose and harm the both of them... I think that shakes her massively. I think she's getting very close to that breaking point where the fear starts to set it and. it makes her cry.
