I once wrote a (cheesy) fanfic to which Bourbon France said he would like to see a portrait of Bourbon Spain holding a portrait miniature of him.
Because this kind of act show people that they are married and they are a powerful couple. It also looks magnificent to hang it on their walls.
So… I commissioned this painting to make his (and mine) dream come true.
Commissioned from Tree by me (please do not re-upload without my permission).

Louis XIV's Gallery of Beauties
A retexture by La Comtesse Zouboff — Original Mesh by @thejim07
This set of 20 portraits was comissioned by the king himself in the 1650s to Charles and Henri Beaubrun (except for a portrait of Henrietta Anna of England, Comissioned to Nicolas Mignard) The portraits comprises the queen, royal princesses and ladies of the court. They hanged at the king's appartments at Versailles. In the 1670s the paintings were progressively relegated to the king's minor residences, but in 1837, Louis-Philippe, King of the French turned Versailles into a museum and rejoined the paintings, in the Louis XIV Rooms, where they remain.
The set includes 20 portraits, with the original frame swatches, fully recolorable. The portraits are of:

Tourism Minister Ernest Hilaire responded to criticisms from former Castries Central MP Sarah Flood-Beaubrun regarding a proposed religious tourism initiative involving the construction of a shrine at the Cathedral in Castries to commemorate the New Year’s Eve fire in 2000. The tragic incident, known as the New Year’s Eve Massacre, resulted in the death of a nun and the Reverend Charles Gaillard, with at least 12 others wounded. Minister Hilaire clarified that the Catholic Church initiated the idea for the shrine, which is currently in its initial stages, and the government supports it as it aligns with the objectives of promoting art, creating expression, and having a touristic component that fits the national vision and direction. Former MP Flood-Beaubrun expressed disapproval of the development plans, arguing that places of worship should remain dedicated to prayer and reflection and should not be commercialized for tourism purposes. Minister Hilaire countered her argument by highlighting the Church's involvement in the initiative and suggesting that Flood-Beaubrun should consult with the Vatican if she disputes the decision. He emphasized the alignment of the project with the government's vision and the global practice of religious tourism, noting that religious tourism is a common practice worldwide and that Saint Lucia stands to benefit from tapping into this market. The Tourism Minister emphasized that the government has comprehensive tourism plans, including initiatives for the revitalization of Castries City that encompass various aspects of arts and culture. He noted that the proposed shrine aligns with the government's objectives of promoting art and creating expressions that could attract tourists. Minister Hilaire emphasized the potential benefits of tapping into the religious tourism market, highlighting that Saint Lucia stands to gain from such initiatives. He also mentioned the importance of consulting with the appropriate authorities, such as the Vatican, when considering decisions related to religious tourism. The proposed shrine at the Cathedral in Castries is aimed at commemorating the New Year’s Eve Massacre and promoting tourism in Saint Lucia. Minister Hilaire defended the initiative, stating that it aligns with the government's vision and objectives, as well as global practices of religious tourism. He emphasized the Church's involvement in the project and the potential benefits for the country. The Tourism Minister underscored the importance of considering the economic benefits and opportunities that religious tourism can bring to Saint Lucia, highlighting the need for comprehensive tourism plans that encompass diverse aspects of arts and culture. In conclusion, the proposed religious tourism initiative involving the construction of a shrine at the Cathedral in Castries has sparked controversy, with former MP Sarah Flood-Beaubrun expressing disapproval of the development plans. Minister Hilaire defended the project, highlighting the Church's involvement and the alignment of the initiative with the government's vision and objectives. He emphasized the potential benefits of tapping into the religious tourism market and the need for comprehensive tourism plans that encompass various aspects of arts and culture. The government sees the shrine as a way to commemorate a tragic event and promote tourism in Saint Lucia, aiming to attract tourists and generate economic opportunities for the country.

Anne of Austria when she was pregnant with Louis XIV painted by Charles Beaubrun
Reportedly, Louis was said to be an active baby. Anne started to feel him kicking in the month of April when she was about four months pregnant. Little did she know, this baby would turn out to be the monarch who changed France.
As this baby grew into an adult, he made Paris the fashion capital of the world, French an international language, some of the first pension laws, he created a national French military, and he built the foundation for a French nation-state.
Of course, though, he also created immense amounts of debt for his building projects and wars, so the common people eventually became upset. His successors have built on this pre-existing debt with their wars, which ultimately led to the French Revolution and the founding of the republic.
