Head canons:

First of all, Nick Nelson is a flip, regressor leaning! With him not having the best father figure, he seeks that while with Charlie and feels comfortable doing father/son activities with Charlie.

When he is in cg space,

He loves making tea and food for his little guy!

Nick Nelson is very cuddly and loves giving cuddles!

He will definitely have stuffed animals in his room or house as a just in case for Charlie to snuggle with. Any little gear he would have both for himself and charlie to use.

He loves playing video games with little charlie!

Nick will fight people to protect his baby at all costs. Even if Charlie is not in the room, his dad mode is activated immediately when someone talks poorly about charlie.

hiii i was wondering if you would make a part 2 to the cg nick nelson headcanons? i think he’d be one of the best caregivers in the wholllleeee widddeeeee world! Thank you for your consideration.

Please, for your own mental health, DO NOT continue reading. This involves ideas and canon events that happen in the books.

For part one, here

1. Nick comforts charlie after he has relapsed of his ED and SH

1.5 Nick doesn't get mad at Charlie for relapsing

2. Nick will share his favorite chocolate with Charlie when small.

3. (Graphic Novel) While charlie was in the mental hospital, Nick would send letters as well as stuffys and small treats that he knows Charlie likes. Yes its inspected by staff, but they understand its a way Charlie copes with his mental health.

4. HE LOVES PIGGY BACK RIDES. Such a goofball while in paris giving Charlie a piggback ride and asking for directions and being so silly!

5. Nick is always by Charlie's side whenever he is regressed. Not in a clingy way but to make sure Charlie is safe. Sometimes Charlie regresses in public when something stressful happens, like when he fainted.

6. Nick will make sure that charlie knows that he is safe around him. Before Charlie met Nick, he didn't tell anyone but Tori about his regression, so it means a lot that Nick is gentle and kind when Charlie is regressed.

7. Charlie will constantly beg to play video games while slipping instead of doing his course work, but Nick makes sure that Charlie is caught up, then plays video games like Mario Kart with him!

8. Nick is stern and assertive when he needs to be with Charlie. Nick never yells! He has sworn he will not ever yell at Charlie, regressed or not.

When Caring:

mainly takes care of Imogen, it was a routine they already had before Nick got with Charlie as they were in the same friend group and even back then Nick was one of the nicer of the bunch

Nick doesn’t talk about his caring side until Imogen is comfortable enough to tell the rest of the group that she regressss

on a few odd occasions Nick watches over Tao when Nick first joins the group and while Tao claims he doesn’t like it at first, he’s totally lying

Nick forms such a soft spot for Tao & the other littles in the group

he likes to talk to Tara about caregiver problems™️ and she’s always there with advice or to just listen for a bit

he’s such a sweet caregiver, always willing to research whatever his little is involved in or struggling with

he puts his all into caring and takes such pride in watching over others

always has snacks, fidget toys, journals, games, books and anything else a little could need on hand

keeps a spare first aid kit in his locker just in case (Tao is very clumsy & Elle isn’t there at school so nicks had to step in at times)

When Little:

Charlie & Elle are his main caregivers but occasionally Tara will watch over him

not super clingy when he’s regressed but he does enjoy getting his hair played with & holding hands

lovesssss to draw & color when small

he’s mesmerized by basically everything Charlie or Elle do, he swears they’re magic or something

massive sweet tooth while small - but he loves fresh vegetables too

he’s more secretive/shy about his little side

he can get very anxious while small and gets into his own head a lot

he has a set journal for when he’s small so he can try and ground himself by writing things out (even if it’s not all spelled correctly)

he’s been trying to befriend Tori since day one of being regressed at the spring household, it’s a slow battle but Tori’s definitely losing

he’ll slip pictures he drew under her door and run off with Charlie to watch from behind the corner as she opens the door and looks around

such an outdoorsy kid & finds any reason to be running around his backyard or taking a trip to the park

him & Tao will film “movies” while they’re both small and they force the whole friend group into preforming parts

somehow worse at drums while small and atrocious on the clarinet per trying Tara’s

of course loves rugby while small but he also likes to have Darcy play volleyball with him like on the beach

superhero movies/books are a must while he’s small!

as much as Charlie complains about it, he indulges Nick and watches the marvel movies with Nick

he somehow gets Darcy & Imogen into them too and they all start to play superhero’s together

him & Imogen don’t regress together a lot as Nick likes to keep his little side & caregiving side pretty separate but when they do it absolutely Chaos with a capital C

can either be super well behaved or pretty mischievous

he offers to egg Ben or Harry’s house at least once a week while small

Regressor!Tori Springs Hcs

🦊 Doesn’t really have a specific age when she regresses but usually she feels pretty young

🦊 most of the time she’s non speaking and if she does speak it usually very quietly and only to Charlie.

🦊 Star Wars is a big comfort for her when she’s little and she watches it on repeat

🦊 she figures out about regression online and immediately it makes her understand herself more but doesn’t really know what to do about it for a long time

🦊 she feels everything so deeply all the time and it feels 10x more intense when she’s little

🦊 she’s super emotional when she’s little because she can’t suppress everything as well as she does when she’s big

🦊 she especially gets really worried about Charlie and likes to be around him as much as she can to know that he’s ok

🦊 after the events of solitaire Tori clearly isn’t doing well and Charlie just keeps asking what’s wrong. Eventually she opens up to him about everything including the fact that she feels kind of ‘small’ most of the time

🦊 Charlie is very understanding because he’s heard about regression as a coping mechanism before. He really encourages Tori with it because he understands why she needs it

🦊 she has a pacifier which she kept from her childhood

🦊 she also has a little purple sippy cup which Charlie got for her after she literally chewed through a rubber drinking straw while she was little

🦊 Nick is also really good with her. He gets her a little stuffed fox toy which she names Alice.

🦊 Tory hides her regression from Michael for quite a while. She’s too scared of the idea of loosing him to risk it.

🦊 one day when they’re hanging out at Tori’s he finds her pacifier. She gets really defensive and yells at him to leave. Charlie, having overheard this, convinces her it’s time to tell him. The next day Michael shows up to apologise and Tori tells him.

🦊 which she’d go on to see as one of the best things she could’ve possibly done because Michael just gets her. Like he understands every part of her including her little side more than anyone else ever could.

🦊 Nick and Charlie call it telepathy because when Tori’s little Michael always knows exactly what she needs and she never has to say anything. He can notice the tiniest shift in her demeanour and immediately know what it means.
