*pushes my foot back and forth in the dust* I'm just saying that Charlotte's kiss on Arthur's cheek is very important to me and I don't know if you guys realise how much of a big fucking deal that was in the 19th century, because men and women couldn't even be alone in the same room together unless they were related in some way or already married, and the fact that she kissed him is just a major thing for an unmarried, middle/upperclass woman of that time. But it's cool... I care about this a normal amount!
charlotte balfour is just chilling in the most remote point of the map with a white moose and two cougars and one dead husband living in her backyard, just "oh woe is me i'm in the middle of the haunted woods biome being submissive and robbable with my bazillion big titty banker bucks and huge naturals" and you're telling me i'm not supposed to think she's fucking up to something
anyway new criminal charlotte fic chapter. it's on ao3
Charles Smith and Charlotte Balfour are opposite sides of the same coin:
Both rejects of modern society, one by birthright and one by choice
Both intelligent, tenacious, and compassionate
Both learned to survive on their own because there was no alternative
Both fell into Arthur Morgan’s orbit for a brief moment of time and, for better or worse, had their lives changed because of it
Both lost their chosen family and had to grieve alone
At the end of chapter 6 they weren’t that far away from each other geographically and I have spent an unhealthy amount of time thinking about what could have happened if their paths had crossed in that period of time, how things could have been different for both of them. Could it have changed anything in the bigger picture of red dead redemption? I certainly think it’s possible.
Very inspired by @evgar ‘s fantastic and sexy Sadigail art, to finally start a sexy Charlotte/Sadie 1909 piece. I drew them a couple of years ago, before I got my iPad, and I’ve been meaning to do a proper drawing for awhile. I adore the idea of these two together.
