Bridgerton S3 Episode 4 Reaction

So I finally watched the last episode of Part 1 and it was everything I wanted it to be! It was so steamy and full of Colin angst. I am going to write and react about what I saw so if you want to read on!

First off, the rest of the Featheringtons are trash. They're hilarious, but horrible sisters and mother to Penelope. I will one day write an essay about the trauma that Pen has gone through and etc. because ugh. Now on to Lord Debling who is adorable with his plant present.

Yes a nod to Penelope sitting at that settee and enjoying the view of Bridgerton House aka where her love Colin is at. I think she isn't leading Lord Debling on here, she genuinely is getting tired of being in the corner, playing what if and ready for a real relationship. She's not in love with Lord Debling, but ready to accept something real over her years of fantasizing over Colin for nothing.

I agree with people who wrote that the scene that Colin is rereading his journal, he's going over what Penelope has read so that he knows what she read and enjoyed and what would be going through her mind. Lady Bridgerton for sure knows that Colin is in love with Penelope! She knows he's in love and he couldn't take his eyes off of Penelope. And she's no idiot, the boy is acting love sick and she can smell that a mile away.

Tillie Arnold is an amusement, but not endgame.

Is it just me or is Lord Anderson not that funny or charming? I don't mind him courting Violet or anything to do with his person, but I don't get it. Maybe I'm taking cues from Lady Danbury who is an impeccable judge of character, but I'm meh about him.

LOL! I love Queen Charlotte and Brimsley! The step another pace backwards comment was gold. "You read me too well."

Awww look at Francesca's little face! She likes John so much! They just get each other and the two actors portray that so well. The joy they have when together, the unspoken silences, and the chemistry they have is evident and I like them!

Lord Samadani is portrayed perfectly as well- he is handsome and dashing and everything that a traditional girl would have wanted. But not what Francesca wants.

Aw, poor Cressida. I never thought I would think or say that, but here we are. The writers have reframed her into a victim of the ton and has tried to free her from the trope of Mean Blonde Bitch.

Oh, Pen it's so obvious you're staring at Colin. Even Lord Debling can tell something's up. I really like Lord Debling, I think he's so cute! I know he's not endgame, but he's doing everything right so far. Asking her how he would secure her hand and putting out feelers of her reaction to a proposal.

Oho the infamous prostitute scene! Yes, he seems incredibly disinterested. Of course his enthusiasm is elsewhere it's with Penelope! I don't mind this scene so much because it just heightens Colin's disinterest with any woman except for Penelope.

Ha! I love how Francesca just accosted Lord Kilmartin! She knows what she wants and it's this man! They are so cute and awkward and adorable! Francesca wants love, but doesn't want to or know how to play games like Daphne did. They are the on the spectrum romance I didn't know I wanted or needed.

Ooh more Cressida backstory and it is grim. Her family and house are so cold. Yeesh. No wonder she is who she is and does what she does. Eloise is sweet to come by and check up on Cressida, she's a good friend. Her father seems like a pill.

I like the Mondrich's and understand them having class/adjustment issues about suddenly becoming part of the ton. It's good to have some contrast and real people part of the main story, but I also don't understand Will's determination to not see how it looks for him to be serving as bartender. With that act he seemingly doesn't understand the whole have/have not system the ton is based on. Wake up, Will!

These assholes. I never liked these puffed up men of the ton who parade about as rakes, but are more likely just assholes who've slept with a girl or two, who they've most likely had to pay. I'm not a prude or judgmental, but I am with Colin and would be sick of them too.

Penelope being wary of her engagement with Lord Debling makes sense. The girl has been in love with Colin Bridgerton for years and still is and so it would be hard for her to just throw that all away and go with Lord Debling, whom she is not in love with. She's not opposed to him, but also waiting for true love.

Ha! We get more love sick and pining Colin! It's sad to see him like this, but also sweet poetic justice for all the years Penelope was pining alone for him. Lady Bridgerton is such a good mother! She knows Colin like the back of her hand and I love the part where she talks about armor. She knows he's been playing a part lately and wants him to be his Cinnamon Roll self.

She knew exactly what she was doing when she mentions Penelope and getting a proposal! That minx! She's sharp and sly and knows exactly what to say to get a response from her children. Lol.

The ballet was gorgeous! That hair piece OMG it was stunning! I like the Queen, but no Francesca will not end up with Lord Samadani!

The ballet sequence is interesting because of Penelope's reaction to it. The ballet is a romance story and Penelope is wrapped up in it. Other people are admiring the artistry and appreciating the dancers, but Penelope is swept up in it. Which proves that a loveless marriage will not do for her.

See, back to Lord Anderson and I get why he would like Violet, but not why she would like him back. They are reading friends to me than late in life love match. I just don't see instant chemistry or anything.

Tillie is beautiful and amusing, but eventually Benedict is going to chafe at the hiding things and lack of romance. Clearly Tillie is her own woman and not needing a man, which will turn Benedict off eventually I believe.

I actually like the Cressida and Eloise relationship. What am I saying? But I do! I think it's cute. Cressida is in sore need of a friend to soften her and Eloise needs one that listens to her.

Yes! Colin thinking back to that one day and the glass and the looks and the comments about eyes. They were so close and comfortable with each other because they were friends before feelings and etc got in the way.

More Francesca and John and they are very cute. She's abrupt with him at first because she thinks he doesn't like her, but lights up when she sees his gesture. This man gets her to her very soul and it's very cute. Lemonade isn't going to cut it man! She has someone who reads her very soul! The queen's face lol!

Excuse me! Colin is here for a purpose, boys, out of the way!

Oof, you were being honest, but way to fumble the ball Lord Debling. He knows that Penelope loves romance and romance novels and couldn't throw her a bone about one day being in love. Maybe that's what it is and wasn't meant to be, but oof.

Here comes unhinged Colin and I love it! I have been spoiled by this from all over and here it is! Yes walking right up to a dancing couple like that quite scandalous! This is going to be good.

Eros and Psyche indeed! Cressida can be a cow at times, but she's right here. Everything she's putting out here is right. They are old friends, but something is going on between them and directly across the street of that window Penelope's obsessed with. She gives Lord Debling all the answers and clues to put the pieces together.

I feel for Penelope because she feels like Lord Debling is her one and only shot at a husband, but Lord Debling is not a fool and has figured out about her and Colin. He's not wrong and the two of them would not have been a good match, but I feel bad for Penelope.

Colin running down this carriage, yes very unhinged behavior indeed! The boy is lovestruck! Those eyes when he says he cannot leave her alone! They are so in love and the total opposite reaction we see from him with the prostitutes. He is all emotion, all heart on his sleeve and I love to see it.

They're getting it on, they're doing it! Eeek, squee, all the feels! That moment after they start kissing where they look at each other to see if this is real and yes, yes it is! Then they get back into it hot and heavy. He's going for more and she gives the nod of consent. Yes, let's do this Colin! I've been spoiled about the fingering but it is hot! Yes Go get it girl!

Aww that moment of laughter between the two so cute! I've seen other posts on this and it's a moment where they are two old friends and giggling together and that is the nature of their romance and relationship and I agree. It's utterly adorable.

Ok!!! Ugh now I know why so many people can't wait for part 2. Fortunately for me, it's only a couple more days and I can't wait!!!! We're going to have Lady Whistledown drama, Eloise drama, a lot of Polin sex, and a marriage! I can't wait I can't wait!

Oookayyy... What about Charlotte Deshayes? I was thinking reader refusing to kick Victor because, well, as different as he looks and acts, he still resembles a baby. Perhaps Charlotte notices throughout the trials that reader is the only survivor not to hurt him or stunt/blind her and she spares reader during a match in which the other survivors leave her behind! (Please, do let me know if you like the idea, and no pressure!)

Charlotte, being herself, hardened by how the world had treated her, would be very confused as to why you were considerably more nice to her and her brother than the others. She saw you not dare hurt a hair on his head. Or hers, for that matter.

She'd notice the other things that you would refuse to do like drop a pallet on her or blind her with one of those modern time devices. She still had no idea what they were but she learned to be wary of them.

Even in the endgame when you would escape, you'd wave goodbye to her. Not in a taunting way. You always had such a nice smile while doing so. She was confused, but Victor was very pleased at not being crushed by someone for once. But if Victor was pleased, then Charlotte was happy.

After a few trials with her realizing you wouldn't do anything to jeopardize her performance, she grew fond of you. Definitely slower than Victor. Victor was always excited to see you, despite you always being a bit wary. It was better to be safe than sorry, you thought.

After a rough trial for both of the twins and three of the survivors escaped, they felt discouraged. But they still pressed on. There was one more survivor, but they had no way of knowing it was you.

It was a rough trial for the Deshayes twins. Nea was being, what other killers called her, a bitch. Blinding, stunning, crushing Victor. If there was only going to be one kill today, it would be Nea. But Charlotte just couldn't get her hooked a third time, all because of the other two survivors, David and Jake. Needless to say, both Charlotte and Victor were getting angry. And that was an understatement.

It all came crashing down when the generators were finished and one of the gates was opened. Pulsating red cracks appeared all over the Thompson's farm as the endgame collapse slowly closed in on the realm. Victor chased the others out of the gates. But he only counted three. When he reported that to his sister, a little bit of hope was regained. They could still have one kill, even if it wasn't Nea.

As the two separated ways again, they both looked to cover more ground. Charlotte checked the other door. It was closed and none of the lights were turned on. The survivor hadn't started it. Weird. Was this survivor lost somewhere in the realm?

Oh, how right she was. Y/N was panicking. Her breathing was quick and irregular as she scaled the parameter of the realm, searching for either of the doors. Tears streamed down her face as she realized that all of her teammates left her behind.

The sound of pitter pattering of little feet broke Y/N out of her tears and into confusion. When she heard the familiar little growling, she knew immediately who it was. She quickly looked around and spotted Victor running around a corner.

He stopped in his tracks as he saw who it was. It was his favorite survivor. Wait. His favorite survivor? And the others left her here? That's not fair! Seeing his favorite survivor in tears, Victor knew exactly what to do. He scampered away, leaving behind a very scared, very confused Y/N.

When Victor made it to Charlotte and informed her of who it is and where she was, her posture brightened up. Y/N? The one who wouldn't do what other survivors do to Victor and her? Charlotte was excited, yet confused. She must've been so angry with Nea she didn't even notice Y/N. She let Victor jump back into her chest cavity before starting on the direction he pointed.

Before long, Charlotte could hear small and sad sniffles and labored breathing. She found Y/N cowering by the wall, her eyes stared at Charlotte with tears. Charlotte felt pity for the survivor, though the Entity was screaming at her in her head to kill her. But she couldn't. It wasn't right. This survivor did nothing to her and her brother. Why would she have to die?

Charlotte lightly shook her head to try to rid herself of the Entity's whispers. She raised her left hand and pointed in a direction. Y/N looked in confusion. What was she doing? Was the killer pointing to one of the gates? No, don't be silly. No killer would do that. Unless...

Charlotte had a look on her face as she was in deep thought, as in looking for something.

"... Follow."

A simple word, yet it held a lot of meaning in this instance. Y/N was shocked. She knew the twins were French. So that's what Charlotte was looking for; 'follow' in English.

Y/N straightened herself up and nodded at Charlotte. She knew it was risky trusting a killer. But... This one was different. As she followed her, Charlotte kept looking back so check if Y/N was still there. Victor sat patiently in his sister's chest as he too looked out for the opened gate.

All three of them were growing anxious. The timer was nearly over. If they wouldn't find the gate soon, Y/N will be taken by the Entity. Charlotte couldn't remember exactly where the gate was, she only knew where the general direction it was in. Her own heartbeat was quickening. She didn't want to let this survivor down after such kindness had been shown to her and her brother.

Finally, after what seemed like forever of searching, they found the opened gate. A sigh of relief escaped all three of them. Y/N was relieved she could finally leave a trial alive. And the twins, well, they were happy to finally repay the little acts of kindness.

As Y/N stepped past the doors, she stopped. She turned around to see the twins staring at her in confusion. Why had the survivor stopped? Didn't she want to survive?

Both twins were in shock when Y/N surprised them with a hug. Charlotte was frozen. She couldn't remember the last time she had been given a hug from anyone other than Victor. Unlike his sister, Victor gladly returned the hug- to the best of his abilities.

"Thank you," Y/N said, her voice just above a whisper.

Charlotte awkwardly patted her back before finally sending her on her way. She watched with Victor as Y/N left the trial safely and in the nick of time, too. However, this did mean the Entity was going to be cross with them, but neither of the Deshayes twins minded. They finally, finally had a friend in this cruel, unforgiving dimension.

jake was the only man on private practice who deserves actual rights.

Cooper and Charlotte were incredibly mean to each other. Like i get that their whole dynamic is like Charlotte pretending not to like him but sometimes they called each other idiots and stupid and bitches wayy too easily for a married couple that is supposed to be in love. Like do y’all actually like each other or is the sex good?

Sam and Naomi deserved endgame i hate both of them but i wanted them together all show.I was so happy with the last episode it was a dream.

Amelia was like canonically much younger than everybody and seen as a kid, and Sheldon’s weird crush/ want to be her savior was incredibly uncomfortable

trying to normalize angela being twenty and dating her 50 year old teacher eli was an awful call. teacher x student is already an abuse of power(from either side) but the age gap made it incredibly worse. she wasn’t “mature” for her age she was just young, impressionable, and had only ever had one relationship. jake had every right to ask eli to end the relationship. jake and eli were the same age and jake knew that there is nothing in common between eli and angela and that eli was taking advantage of her faith in him.

Mason’s mom was kind of awful. Like she was just mean and I felt bad when and how she died but she never planned on letting Cooper meet mason until she found out she was dying and that didn’t sit right with me. She also just showed up refusing to explain, so charlotte had very right to be suspicious.

Fife was a sexist pig and not redeemable.

Cooper telling Charlotte how much she hurt him when he looked her in the eyes and said she was a broken slut trying to please her dead daddy after she didn’t tell him about her cheating ex husband made me want to slap him in the face. Charlotte also agreed with him when she shouldn’t have at all.

Naomi was pro-life and a slut-shamer? that’s the black woman we get. honestly curious if we were supposed to like her

Cooper feeling emasculated because charlotte payed for his seat in the practice and consistently taking it out in her was the most toxic thing ever. He also screamed at her for her safe coping mechanism(maybe not healthy but it was just speaking in cheesy slogans and phrases) and he didn’t deserve her.

Jake and Addison were the perfect couple and probably one of the best shonda has ever made. They deserved a longer love story and compliment each other incredibly well. He is a very grounded rock in the storm of her life.

Unpopular Opinions: Fandom Edition

Hey none of you asked but I’m here to deliver so here are some unpopular opinions for the fandoms I’m in. Spoilers, duh.

Marvel:

I don’t like Natasha. Or Steve.

Pepper Potts is a top.

As much as I love Loki, his death was nessicary in Infinity War.

Steve should have killed Bucky in Civil War. He was a threat, plain and simple.

I ship Ironstrange/Supremefamily.

Clint should have died in Infinity War.

I love Tony Stark with my whole heart. (Not an unpopular opinion but you needed to know that)

I’m not happy with the end of Endgame.

10 years in the making....for you to do Thor like that?

Not because he’s fat or because he’s dealing with trauma, that’s totally acceptable.

What’s not acceptable is them making Thor into the butt of the joke because he’s fat.

I love the Antman movies.

I love Stephen Strange and he’s never done a single thing wrong ever in his life I would die for this man.

I like MCU Peter Parker over the origional movie Spider-Man.

Like yes, I think they’re obviously being groomed to end up together. I know the show runners will make them official before the end of the series. I’m not mad about that, I just don’t really care to be honest. It’s like, too obvious.

What they did to Monty was bullshit but what they did to Jasper was worse.

I feel no guilt whatsoever in saying that I think that killing all of Mount Weather was what they should have done from the beginning.

Yes, even the kids. Because if you kill their leaders, the men and women will fight back. The colony would have been left with a handful of adults, and a bunch of kids if the origional plan had worked. This is doomed to fail and honestly just killing them all would be better than seeing them kill eachother for food, power, whatever. If that makes sense.

I think that Finn deserved to die.

I think that Murphey deserves the world.

Charlotte fucking killed Wells. Yes she’s young but she knows better than to kill someone. Maybe not kill her, but we all know that Clarke wouldn’t have banished her like she did Murphey. Even though what he did was bad and wrong, I don’t think Murphey should have been banished. He’s right. They were all compliant and even excited when he was being hung, but when it’s a little girl all bets are off.

Like Bellamy brought the whole hostage thing upon himself because he fucking tied a noose around Murphey’s throat.

Again, not that what Murphey did was right. He didn’t have to act like that. Jasper didn’t do anything to him.

Also this segment is getting long but the show writers and everyone else just casually forgot that Murphey was TORTURED? Hello? Are we not going to acknowledge that?

Another actually popular opinion: what they’ve done to Raven’s character this season is bullshit. Her only role is Abby’s moral compass. This is the same girl who shuttled to earth in a Tin Can. She’s better than this.

Like they set up his character to be really important this season.

I also think that Either Murphey or Emori or Both are secretly double crossing the Primes. (This comes out before the finale of season six)

The opening of season three is so weak that I actually stopped watching the show around that time (I’d been watching since the beginning of season two) because there’s just nothing there in the first like 10 minutes and I couldn’t do it.

Maybe I’m just impatient but it’s bad.

I think that Octavia did the best that she could with what she had available and I think that’s she’s not a bad person for what she did with the fighting pits/cannabalism. And I know that if Bellamy had been in her place, he would have eventually done the same.

Kane was a whiny bitch in season 5.

I liked Joesephine. It was really fun to see Eliza Taylor be able to get a new character in the show. Also props to her for that last episode with pretending to be Joesephine and being Clarke at the same time.

Octavia’s redemption arc this season is beautiful.

It’s confirmed for a season two which should air in like the December-February time area.

It’s a Netflix show so you can binge the entire season in like a weekend.

Many people haven’t watched it

It’s like if The Walking Dead and Zombieland had a baby....and then the baby did a line of cocaine.

It’s wild.

Watching Garnet die ruined every sliver of hope I had in humanity.

I have a special place in my heart for this show because it’s the first show that me and my mom would stay up and watch the new episodes air every Friday. It brought us closer and I can’t thank the cast and show runners enough for this.

So maybe I’m biased, but you should watch it.

Having Murphey switch from being an anti-hero to a villain back to an anti-hero and then to a regular hero, amazing. Astonishing. The peak of human existence.

Even though he’s not entirely human.

What color is Murphey today? Is he pale, discolored, grey, blue, red? We don’t know!

Roberta Warren is the Black Goddess main protagonist that we deserve.

Addison Carver is a functional Bi.

10k is tragic backstory central but other than that, his character development is pretty lacking other than him persuing love interests.

I’m infinitely more mad that they named that disgrace of a show Black Summer and claimed that it was a prequel....but it didn’t follow the same cast and had they not advertised it as a prequel I would never have guessed.

Black Summer gives totally opposite vibes than Z Nation does. I get that black summer is supposed to be the worst time that the zombie apocalypse ever had, with cannibals and no food, but it feels like s completely different show.

It’s like if The Walking Dead claimed that it is a prequel/occurs during Shaun of the Dead.

Markus has to be my favorite.

Honestly this game is so good and not even just graphics-wise.

It’s the same robotic sentience story we’ve been fed for years, but this time it’s from the Android’s perspective and this time all they want is to be free. That’s it.

I fucking hate North.

Hank is literally if Rick from Rick and Morty were serious.

The only correct way to play Connor is to walk the thin line between deviant and regular A.I. Without leaving out Hank. The correct thing to do is make Conner deviant at Jericho.

The only correct way to play Kara is to protect Alice with every fiber of your being. Meanwhile, get close to her. Do not get caught, even if that means dissappointing her.

The only correct way to play Markus is to lead a peaceful revolution. Also tell North to fuck off.

The border patrol guy who either gets Kara and Alice caught or knowingly lets Androids cross the border is the best character. Forget about Markus, this guy sees either “oh fuck androids are killing people, maybe we shouldn’t let this one cross the border” or “Androids just want to be free and are peacefully fighting for this. Let this one and her daughter through.” I love him.

Even though I think Conner is overrated by the fandom, I do like him.

But he’s not a pure innocent cinnamon roll either.

It depends on how you play, but he has really violent options so stop the “He wouldn’t harm a fly” attitude.

But he is cute.

The home screen for the game is revolutionary (no pun intended) and I hope future game follow suit in making the first impression of the game something cool.

Stealing clothes/money/the fence cutters is literally okay.

Also if you put Kara in white hair you can die.

If in your first actual play through you got the Kara lives at the recycling plant ending but Alice dies, you can die too.

I’ve never actually seen the steal money and go to motel option play out because it’s stupid, especially if you don’t steal clothes. Like that’s begging to be caught.

Stranger things

Billy Hargrove is bad and just because he’s abused does not make what he does okay.

Harringrove is gross and I’m gay so my opinion counts as double.

That being said, there are some really cute fics about Harringrove and I can see the appeal of “good boy falls for mysterious bad boy with a dark past and trauma”

I’ve said I’m gay this whole post because I say it a lot, but I don’t like actually labeling myself but I like girls and boys and everything in between and I say I’m gay kinda as a joke when girls are hot.

That being said...

Steve Harrington calling himself Daddy made me feel things.

Strange things.

Steve Harrington is a good person now, but he was still an asshole before and he can still be criticized for his past.

I used to be hardcore Jancy but after season three I feel like Nancy needs and deserves a break from boys so she can figure out herself and who she is now and what she wants to do without the weight of boys and boyfriends constantly around her.

That being said i still don’t like Nancy because she was flirting/slept in the same bed with Jonathan whilst obviously having feelings for him while she and Steve were still a thing. It’s not cheating but to me it’s close enough to raise red flags.

Robin is perfect in every way.

I don’t like Jonathan. He’s creepy in s1, fine in s2, but then is s3 he doesn’t do anything to or about his male bosses when Nancy is being made fun of because she’s a woman.

Seeing Nancy’s class priveledge/Jonathan’s male priveledge clashing was so cool tbh

Mrs. Wheeler shouldn’t sleep with billy (not that she can now) because it’s wrong, but the reason she wanted to is because her husband is so boring and she gave up on her dreams to be his perfect housewife. She wanted a challenge with Billy. Instead, she should leave her pushover of a husband and find someone better.

Anyway Steve Harrington deserves the world.

Rewatching PLL in 30 Episodes

Even though (or maybe because) I’m not the biggest fan of the PLL ending, I’ve put together a list of thirty episodes of the show that when watched together will hopefully create a concise storyline that makes relative sense. I actually got this idea because I have a theory that the ending of Gossip Girl would make sense if you shortened the show to about twenty episodes (I would make a post about that, but my opinions about the last season of GG are pretty unpopular) and decided to apply the same concept to PLL. The idea is to tie together the first and last episodes, which for PLL are very different. I find it almost impossible to rewatch PLL because a. there are a lot of filler episodes and b. the last episode doesn’t line up very well with the rest of the show. By reducing the show to 30 episodes picked because they create a narrative to back up the finale, you get rid of both those problems. Although there are some plot holes that will never make sense.

A couple notes before we begin:

-I haven’t rewatched most of the show since it ended, although I did rewatch older episodes a lot as it was ending. I might’ve missed a couple important episodes that should be on this list. Feel free to add any in the notes.

-This list probably only makes sense if you’ve already watched the show and just want to rewatch parts of it. There are also spoilers in my episode descriptions.

-There are some good episodes missing in order to create this narrative in this amount of episodes. I would make a list of best episodes, but that’s subjective (for me it’s pretty much seasons 1-3A and 6A). You can give and take episodes to suit your personal preference.

-I haven’t watch this list yet myself. I plan on making a follow up post when I do, but it could be a few weeks.

The actual list:

1. 1x01 “Pilot”

Starting with the first episode, we learn about Ali’s disappearance and “death,” Aria meets Ezra, and A is introduced.

2. 1x02 “The Jenna Thing”

The title says it all. The Jenna Thing™️ comes up in later episodes on the list, so it’s important to learn about. This episode also feels like an extension of the pilot.

3. 1x19 “Person of Interest”

Part of condensing the show this much is skipping over storylines that either don’t get resolved or aren’t very relevant to the A reveals, which is why there isn’t much of Ian and/or the NAT club on this list. This episode is included because it’s setting up 3/4 of the “endgame” ships. A couple scenes in this episode are paralleled in 7B.

4. 2x13 “The First Secret”

You can’t watch PLL without watching this episode. It’s also important set up for 3x13, which is number 9 on the list.

5. 2x25 “Unmasked”

Of course we need to see the first A reveal. Mona’s run as A is important to later episodes on the list, as well as the parallel of her slapping Spencer and her winning the game in the finale.

6. 3x01 “It Happened That Night”

The start of Charlotte’s run as A. Since Charlotte being A is what leads to Alex being AD, Charlotte is a big focus of this list.

7. 3x07 “Crazy”

Charlotte’s first appearance as CeCe.

8. 3x12 “The Lady Killer”

The reveal of Maya’s killer and Toby’s first A Team appearance.

9. 3x13 “This is a Dark Ride”

First hint that Ali is alive. Ties into later episodes.

10. 3x24 “A dAngerous gAme”

Ali is alive, Mona and Toby are kicked off the A team, and ties into 6x10.

11. 4x01 “A is for A-l-i-v-e”

Extension of 3x12, answers about Mona’s work as A, Wilden’s body is found, and Black Widow appears.

12. 4x11 “Bringing Down the Hoe”

“CeCe” is seen in the A uniform spying on Aria and Ezra.

13. 4x20 “Free Fall”

Aria learns about Ezra’s book, which is important for 4x24 and mentioned in 5x25.

14. 4x24 “A is for Answers”

Ali officially reintroduces herself to the liars and gives them some answers about why she disappeared, CeCe is arrested for killing Wilden, and Jessica is murdered.

15. 5x01 “Escape from New York”

Continuation of 4x24 and the supposed death of A.

16. 5x05 “Miss Me x 100”

Return of A, first mention of Bethany Young, and ship stuff paralleled in 7x20.

17. 5x12 “Taking This One to the Grave”

Mona fakes her death and is kidnapped, important for The Dollhouse.

18. 5x25 “Welcome to the Dollhouse”

The Dollhouse is Charlotte’s main A thing and gives clues to her reveal/backstory.

19. 6x01 “Game on, Charles”

Continuation of 5x25 and Sara Harvey’s first on screen appearance.

20. 6x09 “Last Dance”

Leads into 6x10 and sets up where a lot of the characters will be in the time jump. Wine moms reappear in 7x20.

21. 6x10 “Game Over, Charles”

Charlotte’s A reveal and backstory, which is tied to Alex’s AD reveal and backstory. “Answers” for Bethany Young’s death.

22. 6x11 “Of Late I Think of Rosewood”

Start of time jump, Charlotte’s death, and introduction to Elliott Rollins/Archer Dunhill. And the ships are reintroduced.

23. 6x20 “Hush, Hush, Sweet Liars”

Introduction of Mary Drake and Evil Archer.

24. 7x01 “Tick-Tock, Bitches”

Continuation of 6x20 and the first appearance of Alex Drake.

25. 7x04 “Hit and Run, Run, Run”

The cover up of Archer’s death which is important to later episodes.

26. 7x10 “Darkest Night”

Alex impersonating Spencer, Ali tells Emily she’s pregnant, and Spencer finds out that Mary is her birth mother.

27. 7x11 “Playtime”

Continuation of 7x10, start of the game, and Spencer’s mom explains her birth.

28. 7x15 “In the Eye Abides the Heart”

Ali makes a decision about her pregnancy that explains her and Emily’s ending and Ezra catches Alex talking to Wren, although they pretend she’s Spencer.

29. 7x19 “Farewell, My Lovely”

It’s revealed that Mona killed Charlotte in self defense, Mary takes the fall for Archer’s death, the Liars win the game, and general set up for 7x20.

30. 7x20 “Till Death Do Us Part”

The last episode of the show, which will hopefully be more satisfying to watch with only 29 episodes before it. All the ships are wrapped up in pretty little bow, the mystery is solved, less filler means less plot holes, and it’ll only take you 21 hours to watch. Okay, I’m still a little salty about this last episode, but I do genuinely think it makes more sense in the context.

You could definitely include a few more episodes on this list, especially from season seven, but I wanted to keep it as short as possible. Let me know what you think of this idea and which episodes you would add or takeaway.

After weeks of cutting promo after promo to set this confrontation up, the day was finally here. Wrestlemania 32. With Colby by my side, I was training hard in the gym while he worked on his rehab. I knew it was killing Colby that he was missing this Wrestlemania, but I was going to compete for the both of us tonight. I was going to end Morrigan and hopefully get Colby back to his full strength once again.

“Are you going to be okay at the arena alone for most of the day,” Colby asked as we were driven from our hotel towards the arena, “I have my signing for a couple hours before I have to go back to the hotel to get into my suit. I want to make sure you’re going to be okay warming up and getting ready to head into the ring tonight.”

“I think I’ll be fine,” I replied as I rested my head on his shoulder, “I’m sharing my locker room with Charlotte and Becky. So I think I’ll be okay until you get back to the arena.”

“That’s the thing,” Colby sighed and laced his fingers with mine, “Hunter told me I’m to head straight to the press box when I arrive. It’s Morrigan stipulation for the match. She wants to keep us apart before your match.”

“Oh okay,” I sighed sadly, “But I’m going to fight hard for us. I’m ending that bitch tonight.”

I was sitting in my makeup chair, Charlotte and Becky staying close by in case Morrigan started any trouble, as Rowena came over to us. I was excited to finally have this chance to end Morrigan and since Rowena was helping me get to this point, I was ready for whatever news she was bringing with her.

“So I have good news and bad news,” Rowena started as she joined Becky and Charlotte on sitting on the crate close to me, “Bad news is that Morrigan put a spell on the ring for the match where if she pins you, you’ll die. I however have put a similar spell on the ring, where if she gets pinned, she’ll die. I clued in Stephanie and Hunter to have a glamor ready to hide us removing Morrigan’s corpse from the ring when you win.”

“Not ‘if’ I win,” I looked over at her, a little nervous, “I mean I have all the confidence in the world, but how can you be sure I’d win. I mean Morrigan is just as skilled as I am since she was in my body when I was training all my life to get here. I wouldn’t be surprised if she knows all my moves.”

“Not all of them,” Becky spoke up, “She doesn’t know the newer moves you’ve been learning from Colby. You use more of those and you’ll throw her off.”

“Becks you are a genius,” Charlotte hugged her best friend tightly, “Yeah use the moves Colby’s taught you. It’ll give you the edge you need to end her.”

It was getting closer to my match time. I was back in gorilla, waiting for my match to come up. I was bouncing on the balls of my feet and trying to stay loose and keep my nerves in check. I couldn’t let myself get too far into my head and lose sight of the endgame I was chasing tonight. I was pulled from my plans as my phone went off. It was a text from Colby’s mom. I opened it up to find a picture of Tyler sitting up in front of the TV, watching Wrestlemania. I smiled knowing my son was going to be watching my match tonight.

Soon it was time for my match. My music blared through the arena and I made my way out of gorilla and out to the stage. I paced the wide span of the stage, looking up to the press box and pointing to it, knowing Colby was up there, beaming with pride at seeing me having the Wrestlemania moment to end all moments. I smiled and decided to stretch my mind out to Colby’s.

This is it, baby. I’m going to war for us.

Knock her dead, babe. I’ll find you as soon as your match is over.

With that, I made my way down the ramp to the ring. I played it up with the crowd, being a total ham as I was going into this match cocky as hell. I knew that I was going to come out smelling like roses tonight. I was going to end Morrigan. I was going to free of her once and for all.

I got into the ring and climbed up on the closest turnbuckle and held my arms out, just like Colby does, before I blew a kiss to the crowd. I climbed down and got into my corner as I waited for Morrigan to make her entrance.

And sure enough, Morrigan was playing the part of Trish for this match. She even went as far as to copy Trish’s entrance to the letter. I was impressed she was willing to do this my way. Because it meant I was going to end her with my strength, wrestling with all my heart.

The ref called for the bell and it was go time. I paced the ring, keeping my eyes locked on Morrigan the whole time. I closed in on her and locked into the collar and elbow with her. I struggled against her, fighting to make sure she never got the upper hand. I forced her into a turnbuckle and had to have the ref force a break.

Once we were parted, I grabbed Morrigan and threw her with an irish whip into the opposite corner. I then pressed my back into turnbuckle before I charged at her, connecting my forearm with her face. I ran back to the turnbuckle and I charged Morrigan again. This time she dodged and I collided with the ring post, nailing my right shoulder hard. I gritted my teeth as the pain flared down my arm. I knew for a fact I’d be bruised badly later.

I recovered a little bit, just enough to catch Morrigan mid charge with my boot in her face. As she recoiled, I jumped up onto the middle rope and waited for Morrigan to make her way back towards me and I caught her with a blockbuster off the rope. I went for a pin, but she kicked out at 2.

“I’m not easy prey,” she taunted as we rose to our feet.

“I’d be disappointed if you were,” I growled back as I grabbed her and threw her with another whip, this time into the ropes. I ran the ropes and I caught her with a sling blade.

I decided to start measuring Morrigan up for a super kick. I waited until she was on her knees before I unleased my kick. I nailed her right on the jaw, causing her lower lip to catch her teeth and cut her open. Morrigan began to glare at me as blood dripped from her mouth. I smirked and taunted her.

She charged at me and I pulled the top rope down. Morrigan went tumbling out of the ring. I started to bounce on my feet before I went running off the ropes and I leapt through the ropes, nailing Morrigan with a suicide dive.

I rolled back into the ring and went running for another one. As I was about to leap through the ropes, Morrigan caught me with a hard slap across my face. I recoiled from the rope and I rubbed my cheek, finding blood on my hand, meaning her nail had cut my cheek when she slapped me. I snarled at her, my face twisting in rage at her drawing blood.

Once I was able to recover, I tackled Morrigan to the ground and began raining fists on her, aiming to do as much damage as possible. Morrigan managed to kick me off of her, sending my flying back hard on my injured shoulder. I gasped in pain as I felt every fiber in my arm light on fire. I knew my shoulder was not going to make it out of this in one piece, but I have to keep going to protect Tyler and bring back Colby’s true werewolf self. If I fail, I will die and leave my son without a mother and I force Colby to grow old without me.

I got up to my feet and I ran and jumped up onto Morrigan’s shoulder and swung her through a hurricanrana. I climbed up onto the top turnbuckle and leapt out onto Morrigan with a frog splash. While Morrigan was still down, I climbed up again delivered a flawless phoenix splash. I went for another pin, and Morrigan kicked out again at 2.

I pulled at my hair in frustration. I was so close to winning, ending Morrigan. Yet she kept kicking out. I got up and I began to rally the crowd behind me. I needed the momentum to help me put her away. Morrigan got up onto her hands and knees and I found the window for my basement drop kick. I charged and landed the kick easily, watching as Morrigan’s head rolled as she flopped back onto her back again.

I walked over to Morrigan and I picked her up onto her feet. I grabbed Morrigan and delivered a suplex. I rolled through, still holding onto her, and I delivered a falcon arrow. I then got up and ran the ropes before delivering a knee drop on Morrigan. I collapsed to the matt, trying to catch my breath. This match was taking everything out of me. I was not going to let up on Morrigan and if it meant I’d leave it all in the ring, I was going to do exactly that.

I stood up and held the top rope as I watched Morrigan over my shoulder. I saw that Morrigan was in position to take a blackout stomp.

Go for the stomp. I’ll find a way to get you off the hook with Vince if he hates it.

I nodded to myself and I took off running for Morrigan. I leapt into the air and I brought my foot down on the back of Morrigan’s neck. I drove her face down into the matt and I picked her up again and delivered a small package driver going right into the small package pin. The ref got the count all the way to three and the crowd went crazy. I rolled off Morrigan and grabbed at my hair in shock that I finally did it.

I ran backstage quickly, wanting to find Colby as quickly as possible. I found Colby running toward me and I booked it towards him. I leapt up into his arms, breaking down in tears. I was so happy and over the moon now that I beat Morrigan at long last. I clung to Colby as he clung to me. He was kissing my cheek over and over as he spun me around.

“I am beyond proud of you,” he beamed as he held me, “You finally ended Morrigan. We’re free at last.”

Rowena, Becky, Charlotte, and Dean came running to us. They were so happy too. I looked back at Colby and I saw him panting, like he had gone through a rough workout. When he started to sway, Dean came over and supported him. I looked to Rowena and then I saw my mom running towards us.

“Thea,” my mom called, “Something is wrong with Colby I can feel it. We need to get him out of here.”

“Oh no,” Rowena gasped, “Morrigan tied Colby to her life. If she died, he would too. We have to get him out of here. Everyone move.”

I helped Dean get Colby the hell out of the arena. Becky and Charlotte had to stay behind for their match. They promised to get my bags and bring them back to the hotel for us. I got the door to the back of the car and Rowena and my mom joined me in the back as Dean opted to drive us to the hotel.

“Thea,” Colby was struggling to breathe, “It hurts. Make it stop.”

“I will,” I began to project a calming aura to ease his pain as I cried holding his hand, “But you are not dying on me, damn it. I’m not raising Tyler without you.”

“Thea,” Rowena held onto my shoulder, “The curse can’t be broken. He has to die. But you can resurrect him once it runs its course.”

So I clung to Colby as he got weaker and weaker. I saw him struggling to breath and his breaths got more and more shallow as Dean got us closer to the hotel. Soon I saw Colby was struggling to keep his eyes open.

“Don’t close your eyes, Colby,” I begged him as I clung to his hand, clutching it to my chest, “Please don’t close your eyes.”

“I-I love you, Thea,” Colby wheezed before his eyes finally closed and his hold on my hand relaxed. I sobbed as his final breath left his lips.

“Fuck Morrigan that stupid bitch,” I growled as I began to channel my death magic.

I reached out with all of my soul to bring life back to Colby. I could feel the dark power clawing at me, but I preserved through the agony as I channeled my magic to bring Colby back. I was not going to grow old without him. Morrigan can kiss my pale ass before I let her win and kill Colby.

I pressed my hands down hard on Colby’s chest as I pushed my magic through his body. I could feel blood dripping from my nose, meaning that I was drawing too hard on my tired out body. I didn’t care and refused to stop.

“Rowena,” I could hear my mother next to me as she joined her hands with mine, “We have to help her or she’ll die before she can bring him back.”

“Agreed,” Rowena joined with me and together the three of us continued my spell. The three of us kept going for five more minutes and finally stopped when Colby gasped for air as he came back. I breathed out heavily with a smile on my face as I collapsed against his chest, losing consciousness.

I woke up to the sun peeking through the curtains of the hotel room. I went to sit up, but I was stopped by Colby placing a gentle hand on my wrapped up shoulder. I blinked to try and see him better. He looked very somber and not over the moon like I thought he’d be now that he was back from the dead.

“You’re finally awake,” Colby sighed as he stroked my hair, “I was worried you’d be out longer.”

“How long have I been out,” I asked as I tried to sit up.

“Two days,” he replied, “Thea, I have no idea how to break this to you. But it’s your mom.”

“What about my mom,” I asked him, “Where is she?”

“She’s gone,” he replied sadly, “But I should have Rowena explain it.”

“Thea,” Rowena came into my sight and she was playing with the skin around her nails, “The spell you used to bring back Colby was killing you. The spell requires balance to bring back the dead. So your mother and I joined you, opening up the spell to take someone else. Your mother made the spell choose to end her life to save yours. She chose to die so you could live with Colby and your son.”

“My mom’s gone,” I was in tears. I had just gotten my mom back into my life just over a year ago and now she was gone, “But I only just got to have her back in my life. Now she’s gone.”

I broke down completely, consumed by my grief. Colby immediately pulled me into his arms and held me tightly as I sobbed heavily. I knew Colby would never leave me now, not when I need him so badly right now.

“I already told Hunter that your mother passed suddenly and you need time away to process your grief,” Colby spoke into my hair as he held me, “He said to take all the time you needed. He has no idea why she’s gone and we can keep it that way if you want. But we’re going to fly home tomorrow so we can have her funeral. I already found the perfect place to bury her so she is always close to us at home in Davenport. I knew you didn’t want to bury her in Michigan.”

“Thank you,” I sighed as I clung to Colby, “How are you feeling? Are you holding up okay for being dead for nearly ten minutes?”

“I feel beyond great,” Colby pulled back to look at me, “I feel like my old self again. I have my wolf senses again. The curse Morrigan put on me must have broken when my heart stopped. So when you revived me, I was curse-free.”

“Finally,” I sighed and kissed him, “Now you can go for runs without being in pain.”

I was dressed in black along with Colby. I hired a babysitter to keep Tyler at home. Colby’s family along with Charlotte, Becky, Finn, Rowena, Roman, and Dean joined us for the funeral service. It happened to be raining today, like a funeral out of a movie. Colby held the umbrella over me as we sat through the service. I had cried so much the last few days, I had no more tears when we had the service.

“I was told that Bianca’s daughter had a few words to say,” the priest said.

I rose from my seat and Colby walked with me to the podium near my mother’s coffin, helping me stay up on my feet since I was so weak from both grief and exhaustion from my match against Morrigan.

“My mom had left me with my father when I was eight,” I spoke, holding back my sorrow as best as I could, “But even with only having her in my life for such a short time, she was my hero. I knew that when I became a mother, I wanted to be just like her. She had so much love for me and my two older brothers. And even when she left me behind with my father, I knew she still loved us kids. When I had found out I was going to have my son, I made it a point to find my mom. When I did, it was like she had never left me. I was happy to be able to have my time with her. Sure she is gone too soon, but I know she’ll always be with me in her own way. I love you Mom. Rest easy.”

1. What would you get arrested for on the Ark? 

Protests? Can you get arrested for that on the Ark?

I dunno. I have a very strong personality I’d probably get into to some kind of trouble politically on the Ark 2. Would you take off your wristband when you landed on the ground? 

Nah. I’m very much alike with Clarke in the way I think and as much as I may like to stick my middle finger up at the council if I was sent down on the dropship, I think I would see the value in having the Ark (aka. a functioning society) follow us down to the ground. I would be scared out of my mind of the Grounders - back up would be nice. 3. What would the necklace Finn would make for you look like? (Clarke: deer/Raven: a raven duh..)

4. If you could resurrect any MINOR character who would it be? 

Maya. I understand that her surviving doesn’t really make any sense and they needed her to die for jasper’s arc or whatever BUT TBH SHE HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL??? Like, I stanned her team-up with Bellamy so hard; I’d literally sell my soul to satan for her to be incorporated into the delinquent’s group. Can you imagine her suiting up and going on hunting missions with Harper? Attending Lincoln and Bell’s sparring lessons? Sharing her music with Gina at the bar????? Helping out Abby and Jackson in medical???? Having heart to hearts with Clarke about her mom (and Clarke’s dad), who both died rebelling against the system??? Cracking jokes with Monty?? imagine if she went up to space with the squad, and what their relationship could have been like then! She could be their medic on board. 

People always simplify Maya to her relationship with Jasper (and yes they were cute) but SHE COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE. She was smart and courageous and selfless - she had fire and wit and strength and i m i s s her. 

She’ll never see Earth, never breathe real air, never float on the water, never meet Riley 

We’ll never get to see her grow up and it makes me sad

5. Create a squad of 5 characters to go on missions with. Who are they? 

Raven and Monty because they’re GENIUSES obviously.

Definitely relate the most to my INTJ queen Clarke Griffin! 

And Octavia is probably my least favourite character. I can see why some people like her and the merit in her character arc I guess but tbh she just IRRITATES me to no end - she has certain characteristics that really grate at me. Obviously, some characters are horrible people (like Dr. Tsing ew) but Octavia just infuriates me because of some of her characteristics.

She’s not for me. 11. Describe your delinquent outfit. (Would you wear something like Murphy’s jacket with the spikey red shoulder patch or have a trademark like Jasper’s goggles? Be creative, yet practical) 

Something practical cause I’m boring. 

Cargo pants. Ark-issued t-shirt. And a nice warm jacket. The jackets the characters wear on this show are pathetic - they barely look like they keep the wind out. And only Bellamy zips his up. smh vancouver is colder than it looks - all that humidity

I think I’d follow in Raven/Monty’s paths a bit and go into something mathematical like engineering but knowing myself I’d probably end up moving into politics later on. I mean I know she went all cray cray and they all died but probably Luna’s rig. I don’t want shit to do with the other clans, who are always warring with each other. Not so sure I’d just pardon her though. I think the delinquents needed some kind of prison system. Charlotte did murder a kid. Yeah. I feel like we’re kind of past this point in the plot. They’ve both showed development and change and I think we’re definitely at a place in the story where both of them are intended as sympathetic characters to the audience. 25. If one of the characters was in the Hunger Games, who would have the best shot at winning? NOOOOO ALREADY SO MUCH DEATH NOOOO 

I’m going to answer this as if all of our characters were thrown into the ring and I have to predict which one would win. 

I wanna say Octavia because I think she’s independent and - er - determined enough to take out someone she knows if it came down to being the two of them to grant her own freedom and survival. Whereas, someone like Clarke or Bellamy or Kane would probably just nightlock it cause they’re self-sacrificial af. 

But then I also think maybe Murphy ‘cause cockroaches never die (thank you Raven). 26. Least favorite ship? Favorite ship? NOT INCLUDING CL OR BC

If you asked me this a few months ago I would have told ya Niytavia but now that we’ve gotten more teasers about Octavia’s character in Season 5 I’m not sure if I want her anywhere near her (I like Niylah when she’s hot, but not cooked, ya feel?)

So maybe Jasper and Raven. Idk. I liked their friendship. Still bitter about Season 4.

29. Opinion on Emori? Roan? 

I don’t really have a strong opinion on Emori. I feel like our knowledge of her is still so limited. She’s still barely interacted with anyone besides Murphy. But I’m guessing that may change in Season 5. I’d like to see her interact more with Bellamy, since they both have siblings (and Emori was the disgraced child too, just like O). Not many people can relate in that sense.

I really liked Roan but TO BE HONEST I found him more intriguing in Season 3 than in Season 4. He was literally up there in like my top four or five characters in Season 3 - I was so excited to learn more about him! In Season 4 he didn’t have much of a character arc, he was just kind of there to look moody and badass.

But honestly Roan is one of those characters that I don’t think was necessarily intended to be funny (as opposed to characters like Jasper and Wick) but his interactions with Clarke, Bellamy, and Echo offered up the occasional piece of comedy gold. He went too soon. Forever mourning the bromance that he and Bellamy could have had.

30. Would you want to be an extra that is killed off in a brutal way?

PREVIEW OF ARIA/ALEX

Title: Untitled ATM Fandom: Pretty Little Liars Characters: Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, Alison DiLaurentis, Alex Drake, Ezra Fitz, etc. Parings: Sparia/Arlex, Emison, Hanna/a kick in the ass Summary: Alex Drake is in love with Aria Montgomery, and she is determined to finally get what she wants, and get Spencer fucking Hastings out of the picture – permanently. 

This fic starts in 7x20, after Alex Drake has revealed to Spencer that she has also kidnapped Ezra and admitted to killing Wren. I am borrowing the twin storyline and the events that happened up until Alex admits to killing Wren. From that point on, this story will be my own. I will not follow the same route as the episode when it comes to the endgame ships, except for Emison. That being said, Haleb, Ezria and Spoby will not be endgame. Other than the fact that I hate all three aforementioned ships, this story will focus on Spencer/Alex and Alex/Aria, as I believe ol’ Alex Drake was in love with Aria lol. At least she is in this story.

The only other time Spencer could remember having this severe of a headache was a week after she and the others had been rescued from Charlotte’s twisted dollhouse. At the time, she had thought the worst of this whole fucking ‘A’ fiasco was over, but this? This was more insane than anything she could have come up with in even her most warped dreams. She had just found out she another goddamn sister, no – an identical twin sister – and the bitch had kidnapped her.

“Spencer!” Alex’s voice pulled her from her thoughts, and Spencer’s head snapped in her sister’s direction.

“What?” Spencer deadpanned. “What could you possibly want?”

“Well now, there’s no need to be so rude. I thought we were becoming friends,” Alex snickered. Her thick accent made Spencer’s head spin and her stomach twist in anxious knots. “Anyhow…” Alex sat back down in her chair and leaned against the wall, propping her legs up in the same position she’d been in when Spencer had first woken up. “Who’s your best mate?”

“What?” Spencer asked, eyeing Alex warily. She was so tired and her head was throbbing. Surely this was all just a crazy dream, right?

Alex rolled her eyes. “For someone so smart, you’re a bit dull, aren’t you? Your best mate.”  Alex tilted her head back to gaze up at the ceiling. “You got lots of ‘em, you know? There’s the little blonde one..”

“Hanna?” Spencer sighed. The knot in her stomach tightened.

“No, no. Not the fat one. The other one.”

Spencer flinched. “Hanna is not fat,” she snapped. “And the other blonde you’re thinking of is Alison, but that is as much as you’re going to talk about my friends. Keep their names out of your mouth.”

Alex grinned at her. “Ah, right. Hanna, Alison, Emily,” she listed each one with a tick off her fingers. “And the little one.”

The knot in Spencer’s stomach coiled, and bile bubbled in her stomach. “Aria,” she all but whispered.

Alex met Spencer’s gaze and her lips curled up into a sly smile. “Aria,” she repeated. “ I rather like her.”

Spencer glared at her. “How long do you plan on keeping me here?”

Alex tilted her chair back and forth before standing up and letting it clatter to the floor behind her. She crossed the room and sat down on Spencer’s bed, delighted when Spencer moved away from her. “For as long as I want,” she said, in a duh tone. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have somewhere to be. I believe Miss Montgomery is waiting for her fiancé, but…” 

She exited the small room and hit a button on the wall opposite to Spencer’s room. The mechanic doors slid open with a whoosh, and revealed another person lying on a cot identical to Spencer’s. Only the person passed out on it was..

“Ezra!” Spencer cried out. “What the hell have you done to him?!” Ezra was unconscious, and even from a distance Spencer could see the bloody wound on the side of his head. His face and the parts of his hands that she could see were covered in nasty cuts and bruises.

Alex shrugged, looking down at Ezra’s unconscious form carelessly. “He’s rather annoying,” she simpered.

“Alex,” Spencer spat. “You can’t do this! You can’t kidnap people and hold them against their will!”

“Charlotte did,” Alex scoffed. She hit the buttons on the electronic keyboard to lock Spencer’s door and smirked at her through the air holes. She cleared her throat locked eyes with Spencer. “I think you should wear your hair up for the funeral.”

All the air left Spencer’s lungs and she sprang up so fast she almost fell over. It earned a snicker out of Alex, and Spencer’s eyes narrowed. “Funeral?” her voice came out high-pitched and fast. “A funeral for whom?”

“A funeral for whom,” Alex mocked.

Spencer shivered. Alex sounded just like her.  Even though they were twins, Spencer was hoping for some kind of identifier that would separate the two of them. “No one will believe you,” she called out before she could stop herself. “My friends will never believe you’re me. If you think you can get away with this…”

Alex hummed and ran her fingers through her hair. “Oh, honey.” Her eyes turned cold and her voice was sharp when she spoke. “I already have.”

Why You Should Stop Hating Aria Montgomery: A PSA.

OUT of the four liars, Aria Montgomery is the one I related the most to. Aria Montgomery is every single one of us - starting with who she was as a teenager up until the most recent episodes. She’s human and I will fight you if you call her selfish like it’s flaw - no one isn’t selfish. It’s called self-preservation - you’d die without it. Anyways, let’s get started on this. 

Aria & Ezra, Ezra & Aria....

Seasons 1-2, Ezria was definitely a favorite ship on the show. However, at the time, I wasn’t even aware of the concept of statutory rape. I mean, I was like 13 I believe? After the Season 4 rather nauseating revelation that Ezra not only actively sought out Aria in the bar while knowing how old she was, he’d previously been involved with her dead best friend. Now, if he’d approached Aria and introduced himself as an author interested in writing a story on her friend’s death, and Aria had agreed as a way to escape the stresses of her parent’s drama as well as to divulge just who alison really was (a fucking horrible person btw, i despise alison dilaurentis with every fiber of my being) -- i believe a more romantic arc would have been spun, all without the cringe-instilling shit they forced on us. 

Now, on why Aria would marry Ezra, even after all he’s done. 

Aria was at the most impressionable age of her life. Her parents’ lives was falling apart, she was being stalked by a god-knows-who who was out to get her and her friends, and she and her friends were still struggling with dealing with the way alison disappeared from their lives. After Alison’s disappearance, Aria’s the character who grew the most and become her own person, and as soon as Alison and her shit got reintroduced back into her life, all she’s built over a whole year was shattered -- she sought out the one person who gave her the sense of the person she was, and that was Ezra. 

I’m not saying Ezra is a saint - no, he’s an asshole, and him getting shot for Aria and the girls doesn’t amend to his sins. But again, over the course of her high school life, Ezra may have the been only sane constant in Aria’s life. I won’t say it’s love that drove her to accept an eternal life with Ezra. But it’s a desire for a semblance of safety and stability. It’s a self-defense mechanism that a lot of population is open to doing. You can’t blame her for accepting to be with someone who’d tricked her like that - especially when he’s actively been trying to redeem himself since then. 

When A.D. threatened to send Ezra to jail - Aria’s self-defense mechanism was to of course comply. It was a no brainer to her, and it would be a no brainer to all of us. She didn’t do it so that she and Ezra could get married, and she did not do it because she was afraid Ezra would find out about the report. If anything, Ezra deserves to be target practice for Aria’s self-defense classes and that would still not be enough to make up for what he’s done (Because everyone said that Aria was stupid for helping A.D. when Ezra knew about the report to begin with, but that’s not why Aria did this.) 

Now, onto the good stuff --

Before I begin discussing this, I wanna highlight on why A.D. chose Aria out of all the liars to do her bidding, and why not Spencer or Hanna or Emily (Alison’s not one of the liars she should have stayed dead.)

On the contrary to everyone’s quick jump to conclusion, Aria’s actually the least selfish liar out of all of them. She’s also the most passionate.  And by all of them, I do mean all of them. That being said, at least both Hanna and Spencer have done some shit for A once before, so are we really gonna be judging Aria right now? Over the course of the 7 seasons, we’ve seen Aria lie and keep secrets to protect people she cares about. I don’t have time to recount how many times or occasions Aria’s done this but she always has, while the liars have on one time or another have all betrayed each other at some point. 

What stood out to me the most was Spencer Hasting’s enraged reaction to Aria’s ‘said betrayal’ 

Spencer claims she didn’t hurt anyone by being A. And that is not true --

Spencer didn’t join the A-Team to freaking be a double-agent. She was driven to join after a mental breakdown when she thought Toby was dead. Mona may have told her that Toby was alive, but Spencer was told that Toby would be her reward if she could get the liars at party on friday --- which is why Spencer’s parents throw a party to celebrate her departure from Radley. Spencer joined the team to save Toby, just like Aria joined the Team to save Ezra. She may have turned midway when she finally actually saw him, but so did Aria. So let’s not paint Spencer as a hero and Aria as a betraying bitch - they’ve both done the exact same thing, and the writers are recycling old plots because they have nothing better to do. 

Spencer slipped some of her sleeping pills into Malcolm’s ice cream - I’m not sure why she did this, I don’t know if she was hoping Malcolm would forget what she looked like or not, but that was dangerous. Sleeping pills specifically are dosed for adults. It’s a miracle she didn’t kill him. 

She claims that the A who took Malcolm wanted to get caught - and if she did, she wouldn’t have told Malcolm her name was Alison. She wasn’t trying to get caught. 

Later on, Aria snaps, saying that Malcolm is off-limits. If Spencer really wanted to prove a double-agent status, Aria should have been in on this. Being a double-agent doesn’t count if Spencer’s the only one who knows what she discovers; she should have told Aria. Aria didn’t agree and had to be threatened twice to comply to A.D’s wishes. Spencer didn’t even waste a heartbeat thinking what taking Malcolm could possibly do to Aria.

Last but not least, Spencer’s parents going through a divorce is not Aria’s fault. Spencer is deluding herself to think that her parents even stood a chance, back from the day they found out Jason was Spencer’s brother. But that’s not a point I should mention because everyone agrees with me anyways.

Troian revealed in an interview that Spencer was supposed to be A. Which brings me to a point that, Marlene didn’t even know where she was going with this show after season 2. She just kept adding plots and twisting pasts and creating plot holes to add to the shock factor. 

Now onto the infuriating part of this, Alison Dilaurentis

“So what? It was just a no brainer for you to pick Ezra over us?”

If Alison Dilaurentis was a part of my life, I’d run her over with a truck the first chance I had. 

But Aria hasn’t done that - Despite all the shit that Alison has put Aria through, Aria was the most welcoming and embracing of Alison’s return. Aria’s the one who married Alison, and Aria’s the one who took her back to the sanitarium and promised over and over that everything would be okay. Even after finding out that Charlotte, Alison’s sister, was the reason they’d all gone through what they went through, even when they all should have cut ties with Alison and laughed in her face when she asked them to testify in Charlotte’s behalf, she and the girls didn’t. 

But Alison is also the prime reason why all of this is happening to those girls - so yes, Alison, it would be a no brainer for people to not pick you, you selfish, manipulative, conniving bitch. 

It just honestly made me laugh my ass off when Alison said that - because of all people, Alison would run them all over for her own self-interest. She’s always been like that, surviving like she lived in the jungle, surrounding herself with possible prey if the food ran out. If A.D. had approached any of the girls, I’m sure none of them would have hesitated. Given the current situation, if it’d been Hanna approached by A.D. to do this to save Caleb from some illegal hacking he’s probably done in his past, I can guarantee you that Hanna Marin would have done more that break a crib and plant a phone.  If it’d been Emily to protect Alison, I don’t think I have to say Emily would have sold her own kidney cause she’s already done something akin to that (not joking, that relationship is even more toxic than Ezria. It’s disgusting and everyone who ships Emison needs to do a reality check. It’s bad LGBT representation. It’s bad general romantic relationship representation. It’s sick and twisted and I just can’t.) And Spencer’s already at a fragile mental space, she’d have anything with proper pressure anyways.

If anyone else had said that to Aria I may have conceded, but it had to be Alison Fucking Dilaurentis, Queen of Selfish Bitch Land. 

That last thing I wanna say is that I am HEAVILY disappointed in Spencer, Hanna, and Emily. Mona’s probably one of the few characters with an actual clinical mental disorder diagnosis. Their past with her alone should be enough for them not to trust a word that comes out of her mouth. When Spencer asks for proof and Mona plays a damn recording I was SURPRISED that THAT’S all they needed to believe it was Aria. Aria should have been given the benefit of the doubt, and given a chance to explain. Instead, Mona turned them on Aria and I believe Mona’s done this to forcefully pull the girls apart. I think Mona’s the one who planted the phone in the Brew for Aria, and she’s been the one talking Aria that whole last episode, not A.D. A.D.’s work with Aria ended with the puzzle piece. This was all Mona. 

Mona’s the one who who provided evidence to the police to give Aria an alibi on the night of Charlotte’s murder. After all, we all know Mona is tech savvy, she can do anything. She wanted to drive Aria away and seclude her so that at some point, Aria would lead her to A.D. I think Mona too was blackmailed by A.D. But given her illness, she just couldn’t stand the idea of someone not only stealing the game from her but actually controlling her to do their bidding (Mona’s the body used to create avatAria.)

When the liars froze Aria out, they chose who was going to lose. That’s what the endgame of this whole episode was. To drive one girl apart enough for them to not even consider looping her in on this. And they succeeded, by freezing aria out, the girls chose Aria to be the one to take the blame. And even if Mona did send an alibi to the police, it can be easily refuted. 

What I’m trying to say is shame on them for trusting Mona Vanderwaal.

PLL CLUES TO ENDGAME

So Over the past week or so I’ve been rewatching Pll from 6B on. These are just some things that may be clues/ things I picked up on.

In 6B, Aria starts off super shady. Sneaking out of the hotel. Everyone was convinced that Ezra and Aria are somehow behind/involved in Charollets death.

Lucas and Melissa both return in 6x13. Lucas to impress Hanna, Melissa to call out Spencer on her *ahem* dating life. Melissa is also worried about the tape she made spencer, and spencer says its destroyed dont be paranoid.

They reallly are putting Ezra out. Calling out his drinking, and outbursts. “No one broke a chair....it was an inncident.” This behavior is presumed to be because of Nicole.

The whole “It was highschool.” “NOT FOR HIM” gets me everytime i stg

Ezria scene “you are compassionate, sensitive. You are kind.” Ezra, “Maybe I’m not.”

Insert infamous scene where the liars burst in and accuse Ezra of murder (ARIA INCLUDED) they are convinced and he says “Anybody bring torches ptichforks? anything like that? (lolz) and Ezra has his outburst “NOW! GET OUT!” which was pretty extrra for someone who’s only secret was aria’s parents hooking up??? seems like a major overreaction.

Ezra makes it clear he is glad that Charollett is dead.

Lucas is involved in something, maybe he killed Char to protect Hannah. He loves her to death obviously, is that that big of a stretch? I know he and Charles were friends way back when, but according to Lucas he didn’t know Charles as Charollete, and it makes more sense for his loyalty to be to Hanna, since he partially blames himself for what happened to her, all he wants now is to protect her.

6X13 we get the first new text from the new enemy. “jYou know who did it and I’m going to make you talk.” At this ponit they think Ezra is the killer. The texter isn’t refered to as AD until 6x20 (they think AD and the other texter are different people: one who wants revenge for Chars murder and one who wants to cover it up)

Now, this text is also thought to be sent by Archer/Mary right?? But then why at the end does it show A getting rid of the hoodies. Archer wasn’t around when OG A had hoodies and was tormenting the girls, if Archer was the one being A, then that scene doesn’t make sense. 6x14 “JI don’t lurk in the shadows, I hide in plain sight” Making it seem like its someone they know.

It’s important, I think, that this is the first A who allows the girls to communicate freely with them. From 6x14 when Hanna texts the number asking “Do i know you,” to Aria calling AD lateley, idk it’s interesting. This AD has to have more confidence than whoever was playing the game before, they are tech savy enough to KNOW beyond a doubt they won’t get caught. (caleb, mona, lucas?)

The murder weapon was the golf club right? Ezra has the club in question, but it could have easily been replaced after he used it right?

“When he get’s like this I’ve learned not to ask....He’s dark and depressed.” That blonde coffee chick emily dated, about Ezra.

Toby seems content and happy with Yvonne, I really don’t think he is AD. At least from season 6 perspective, so far.

Flashback of Aria’s parents arguing about Charolete, making it seem now like it’s Aria’s dad that killed her. Adding to the evidence that her dad doesn’t have a 9 iron in his set.

Shower Harvey’s room was 214. 214 has connections to Jenna and Toby (the hotel room with the flute music that was faxed in braille. BAD) Hanna and Caleb (The locker combo and Jenna and the flashdrive.) Sara, (this) and something recently in season 7 with the school and Aria being shady with the locker.

In season 2 episode 14, Ezria gets outted to Aria’s parents, Spencer confronted Garrett about the NAT club, Toby gives spence the rocking chair (A Replica of which was in the dollhouse)

Mona called Char from the two crows diner the night she died and asked for her to meet at the two crows. (SHe had pie???)

After Ezra sees Arias parents, he says he went to the house of pies and had a three hour conversation about politics with a truck driver named Earl.

Melissa’s suitcase is broken and there is a piece missing that could be the murder weapon. Eyes off Aria’s father. Melissa comes back in 6x17. We know Charollet called wren and (probably) told him that Melissa was the one who burried bethany alive. as heavily implied by Hanna and Melissa’s conversation. Melisssa was a sobbing mess that night. That’s her motive to (kill?) Charlotte.

“Hail to the conquerer” Caleb to Melissa....hmmm....

Emily finds the ‘murder?’ weapon on a roof and AD? steals it. (The driver was NOT melissa according to sketchy garrage guy who is on AD’s payroll so his words aren’t exactly credible)

6X20 SoME lady calls Toby PRettTY EYES I SAID IT THEN AND ILL SAY IT NOW THATS A CLUE ALL THESE PIE CLUES AND PRETTY EYE S I STG IF THIS BITCH IS IN THE NEXT EPISODE IN THE DINER THATS PRROOF IDGAF ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE that toby is involved somehow. (im particularly fond of the toby and spenciritta theory) (IF he is involved otherwise i like wren theory or ezria theeory)

ELLIOT OR ARCHER OR WHATEVER IS BRITISH. THAT IS NOT A COINCIDENCE I SAID IT ONCE AND ILL SAY IT AGAIN. HUGE WREN CLUE.

7x01- AD knows somehow hanna was lying and isn’t charlottes killer. The liars now begin to think it’s Alison that killed Char. Later in the episode Archer, thinks it was Ali as well, who told hiim that? someone with the group? He continues to believe it was Ali and that’s why he tortures her.

Toby: “We can’t pretend that the Alison that blinded Jenna never existed.”

THANK YOU!!!! (This points to Ali potentially being AD or at least involved.)

*INSERT SCENE WITH HANNA AND “”SPENCER”” which is a ‘’dream’’. If this is the twin, then she let’s hanna go (kinda by saying there is a way out) because Hanna says “its a good thing i don’t know who killed Charlotte, because I’d tell if I did.” Twincer must have believed her and that’s why she let her go. (Why would hanna lie to her best friend in a dream?) This scene just moments after Mary visits Spence and says something about twins, “you look so much like your sister...” (presumably refering to Melissa, but maybe her twin”

When Hanna is running through the woods half naked after escaping, it reminds me a lot of when Aria was running from Ezra in the woods. Only thing is, we know Ezria are together at this point, so Ezra is ruled out as being AD at this point, right? Same with Ali, who is in the hospital, Emily who is breaking into Alis house, Caleb who is at the lost woods, mona, toby, and spence who are with the group after hanna escapes, so they could still be involved somehow. So they didn’t kidnap hanna- AD kidnapped hanna- none of them are AD

How do you feel about your squad so far? Was it what you expected?

I am very proud of my squad! We all have been doing amazing so far! Charlotte has found her own prince, and Kat will find her own as well (I mean Katvan is endgame!) And for the rest of us, I think it’s going to be a close call between Melody, Evadne, Annelise and me. Now I am not saying the other selected do not stand a chance or anything, but the 4 of us happen to be in Prince Dom’s top 5 so we must have done something right. I’d also like to say that it might seem like bitch squad never communicates or does anything with each other. But I know for sure that when 1 of us needs help or support, we’ll be there for her! i’m a little late, but i just watched the pll series finale and i’m a little mad and SO UPSET

i thought it was shit that AD was twincer (alex drake) - mainly because most of spoby scenes in this season, apparently, it wasn’t spencer, so I’M VERY UPSET, which kinda makes me question WHAT SPOBY SCENES IN THE SERIES WERE REALLY SPOBY, so

btw, someone from the cast or the crew (maybe even marlene, idk) - i don’t really follow their tweets/interviews bc i’m always busy af so - said AD was there since the pilot?????? does that mean maybe alex was pretending to be spencer in a scene or more? THEY KEEP MAKING THIS TWISTED GAMES WITH OUR MINDS WHEN IS IT EVER GONNA STOP

and when hanna was hold captive and spencer appeared in some kind of illusion to her, i thought the twincer theory was a good one, but they kinda managed to make it a bad thing for me as i had imagined it would go totally different at that time (if it were real) - the theory started in early s7, so we couldn’t have known it was a real deal back then but i already pictured some things happening later in the series if it were true - btw, it was a good theory back then to me also because then spaleb could be fake BUT NOOOOOOOOO NOW WE WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT WAS REAL AND WHAT WAS NOT WHAT WAS SPENCER WHAT WAS ALEX I SRSLY AM SO MINDFUCKED RIGHT NOW

(ok i don’t remember how jenna got blind after her surgery, but it doesn’t matter, i guess) (this does tho: i don’t remember many things about the series bc a lot happened so i might be wrong about this one, but still) SERIOUSLY, JENNA KEPT BEING BLIND? she was one of the most motivated people to hate the girls, to want to screw them over, etc BUT SHE STILL NEVER ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING AGAINST THEM WITH THE INTENTION OF DESTROYING THEM. she only got in the AD team because she needed money for her surgery, NOT TO RUIN THE LIARS’ LIVES. she even WARNED them (through toby, but still) that spencer wasn’t truly spencer, but a twin sister she didn’t know about until now. ps: ‘i may not be able to see, but i can smell a bitch a mile away‘ will be forever in my heart JENNA IS A FUCKING QUEEN AND SHE DESERVED BETTER

i wanted SO BADLY, right from the start, for lucas to be in the A(D) team. we were so close to that, and i was so happy, only to be even more frustrated later in the finale. we didn’t even get to know more of his story with charles, which could be something to make him be a part of the AD team. UGH SO MUCH POTENTIAL WASTED, I’M SO MAD

and let me just add here: that idk where from accent was SO BAD. not because troian isn’t natural from somewhere with that accent or because we’re used to her american one, but it didn’t really add much to the character? it just kept distracting me from the story alex was trying to tell and every word she spoke just made me make an ‘ew’ face.

btw was i the only one who saw RIGHT AT THE MOMENT it wasn’t a mirror AND THAT IT WAS ANOTHER PERSON (obviously, the twincer) when spencer was touching her hair and alex did the same so she would think it was a mirror and bla bla bla? i guess some people might have jumped off when she said ‘boo’ haha but anyways that reveal was epic, i must admit it. not the mirror illusion thingy, i thought it was kinda cliché tbqh, i always expected that if the twincer theory was real, but the ‘boo’ was nice lol

the only ship that got a full ‘circle’/closure, with a wedding, a honeymoon (even if it wasn’t shown), a future planned and kind of concrete was ezria. haleb got a crappy ‘wedding’ and a (2-second-announcement - if it was even that long - of) pregnancy (i’d like to see caleb kissing her belly, they finding out the baby’s sex, picking a name...), emison got a shitty proposal (although they had some cute scenes, like the picnic one), spoby didn’t even get a kiss, not even a hug, fml, i’m so angry.

can i just say “i'll think of all that might have been” (quoting evermore from batb bc it just fits right in lol - i’m actually crying as i type ‘lol’ tho)

it left us with unsolved things that probably will never be explained (perhaps there’s not even any explanation, since it wasn’t planned from the start and it turned into this gigantic mess with no links at all and no way to be fixed)

the show was supposed to end with answers but all it gave us was more questions

7x19 recap

>I know… i know i haven’t been active lately. Tbh i have been seriously disappointed with the show and its childish ways ie. Boardgame with virtual animated person running… COME ON! so damn lame

…but. there is only one episode left. One. Episode. Of. Pll. EVER. And that breaks my heart. I love the show and will miss it but i think i will miss our fandom more, our theories, our conversations, our devotion.

MONA SWEET MONA i loved her so much in this episode. Shes a little onion, layers and layers of Mona. It broke my heart when Charlotte spoke to her that way. I knew for a while Mona killed her, I was hoping it was more vengeful but it was an accident. Poor Mona Caleb starting to see Monas true intentions and illness made my life! We all love Mona, if the girls just fucking accept her shes a happy girl. Thats all she wants.

Mary leaves Spencer and Ali the lost Woods resort. Ya probably because she planned to take the blame for archer and didnt want her asset taken from her. After all wasnt it always about money with her. She owed them after everything she put Ali through.
