I saw this textpost by @chatonnoir and had to draw it! Ladrien/ladynoir half reveal is my absolute favorite.

There are some close ups and a text-free version under the cut.

I really want to work with this lineless process more, it’s a lot of fun! This has been a WIP for about two weeks. All of this took 7h 35m, which is super fast, especially for something I’m experimenting with.

summary:

Marinette fiddles with her earrings, staring down at her phone but not reading or processing any of the pictures or captions as she scrolls through Instagram. She feels wired, keyed up. Like all her muscles, bones, cells, even, are tensed up and ready for a fight.

Hawkmoth never used to wait a week between akuma attacks. She was lucky if he even waited until the end of the day.

Summary -

"Chaton? Have you fallen asleep back there or has the impossible finally happened and you're actually quiet for once?" His Lady's cheeky, charming tone was like music to both pairs of his ears and he couldn't help but giggle into her suit, nuzzling his face further so that his nose brushed the slither of bare skin peeking from her neck.

And had he been more aware, he would have noted the split second his partner shivered with delight from the delicious contact and the way she casually leaned into his touch too.

The cool, soothing wind was like heaven against Chat Noir's heated skin, his slim torso bent down so that he could lean his content face against his Lady's strong back as she drove the red and black motorcycle whilst the sun began to set (painting the sky a beautiful shade of pink, orange and yellow). He couldn't help but tighten his loving grip around her frame even further with his arms, not giving a care in the world. Happily inhaling her sweetly spiced vanilla (and very familiar) scent and relishing the way her soft, silky hair brushed against his face. Hair that was free of its ribbons so that the helmet could fit over her head with ease. "Chaton? Have you fallen asleep back there or has the impossible finally happened and you're actually quiet for once?" His Lady's cheeky, charming tone was like music to both pairs of his ears and he couldn't help but giggle into her suit, nuzzling his face further so that his nose brushed the slither of bare skin peeking from her neck. Thankfully, her magically enhanced senses were more than able to hear every precious word regardless of the humming engine of her motorbike. She couldn't help but let out a soft, tender smile under the helmet, eyes still on the road. "Ah, mon Minou. You sure are something else, hahah," "As long as I'm yours, always," The racing heartbeat that pounded within her chest was more than enough evidence to show that she too returned the sentiment and that all she wanted to do was turn around and grab his cute face for a kis- . She should seriously pay attention to the road. ~(x)~ "Really!? You really mean it!? I'm really allowed to try and drive your motorbike!?" Chat Noir practically vibrated on the spot, fists clenched against his chest with excitement and faux tail wagging behind his form in a manner that was closer to an overeager golden retriever rather than his namesake. Ladybug could've sworn that there were literal stars in his dilated feline eyes and her body reacted before she could even think through properly, placing a gentle hand on his cheek just so he could melt into it like putty (and now acting more like the treasured nicknames she gives him). "Of course. There's only one way for you to learn after all. It would be really beneficial for you to master it in case I'm not available or if I'm injured during the battle." Her smile widened as his purrs simply increased in volume. He's so adorable. "Hopefully the only times I get to drive is when I take you to wonderful places as a surprise. I don't like seeing you get hurt." He softly butt his forehead against hers like an affectionate kitten, earning a beautiful blush from his Lady (much to his surprise). Snapping out of her momentary trance, Ladybug cleared her throat, coughing into her fist for a second and averted her eyes so that her complexion wouldn't start to blend in with her suit. He was way too cute right now. "A-Anyways...let's not waste any more time. Come on, let's drive!" . . . "Chat Noir...never drive a car, bike or ANYTHING in your life. Ever." Ladybug rasped tiredly, still tangled up in the rubble and debris and her poor motorbike an indescribable, hissing mess of scrap and bolts nearby. Her partner finally managed to pull his head out of the tube it got stuck in during the impact of the crash with a grunt and then flashed an innocent look at his Lady. "Really? I thought it went well!" . Ladybug should've known so much better than to let her partner's cuteness sway her decisions. . . . ~(x)~

A/N: BONUS SCENE

"It is mandatory that you hold me like this and hold on tight! This is the safest way, do you understand?" Ladybug says as she positions her Chaton in a manner that looks like he's cuddling her from behind. "I understand~♡♡♡♡♡" Her partner practically melted on the spot as he leaned against her, his face already making itself home against her shoulder blades. Ugh, he's too cute.

I really really love how the lucky charm was designed to fit Chat Noir's way of thinking this time: straight forward and directly to the point

He even says so: "But, why did you do that? For once it was obvious! We just had to put it on Psychomedian's eyes to prevent him from using his power!"

Usually he understands how a lucky charm is being used once Ladybug comes up with a plan, but when she gets it he's always asking how on earth she's gonna manage to make it be useful

Loved that because Ladybug wasn't in a condition to properly use her power, the lucky charm acknowledged it and automatically adapted itself to the person who was in capacity of using it: Chat Noir

Popular trends: Rewrites are loved but rare, coming with lore tweaks and raised stakes for Adrien. Psychological thrillers with trauma. Marinette whomp (Adrien whomp is less popular lately). Ensemble work with Luka and Kagami with our duo is also a thing (I dislike this but I won’t be dishonest). Earnestness.

Off the top of my head, that’s what’s up with content creation in the miraculous fandom. Always liked your work, glad you’ve felt some inspiration in the ol stomping grounds

What I really appreciated about Qilin was seeing where Marinette gets her problem solving skills and the ability to predict a certain outcome.

Sabine uses every day household objects to problem solve. Just like Ladybug lucky charms (let’s just ignore the fact that this time Ladybug has a laser gun for a Lucky charm this episode lol). Sabine carefully placed the laundry basket, the sponge, etc. to counteract Marinette’s clumsiness by predicting what her daughter was going to do.

When confronted with the problem of the business man taking up the handicap spot on the bus not moving, she was able to analyze her surroundings and use it to her advantage to solve the problem. As a result a simple pen drop created a wild chain reaction that removed the business man from the spot and allowed the man in the wheelchair take the spot. We’ve seen Ladybug analyze her surroundings and correctly predict an outcome numerous times.

Marinette never got this ability from being Ladybug (she is Ladybug because she has this ability). This is something learned from her mother. Marinette gained this skill through observation and experience by being raised by her mother.

How the Digimon are “mirrors/parts of their Chosen Children’s souls” (part I)

(I still want to go into more detail about this later, but these are the quick thoughts I’ve gathered so far.)

Taichi/Agumon: Agumon is the more carefree part of Taichi, maybe a bit more on the naive side, but they do share their idealistic, positive side that is quick to act (which Taichi desperately needs in his later years, as we know). Plus - there are instances that show that Taichi's appetite is just as big as Agumon's... However, Agumon also has his more mature, more contemplative moments that show that there’s more going on than what meets the eye.

What the evolution line represents: Greymon is a big dinosaur (beast like), Metalgreymon is a more "artificial" version of it (more technology-based, aka, being tampered with by humans) and WarGreymon is a humanized/matured version of all three prior evolutions. Which does lead to the impression that Taichi is also growing more mature, yet also influenced by changes that happen to himself very directly.

 Yamato/Gabumon: Gabumon - at first - represents Yamato's social awkwardness, though he's displaying that more through being shy, reserved. But once the people dear to him are at stake, he goes all out, even if it means becoming snarky or aggressive.

What the evolution line represents: Garurumon is the full beast mode of the wolf coming through, WereGarurumon makes the humanized version (aka Yamato's edgy side) come through and MetalGreymon is the artificial/technology based mix between Gabumon and Garurumon, changing the fire to ice (which could also symbolize that, while Taichi and Yamato are initially more similar than they thought, Yamato has this polar opposite thing going on after all).

These loose character descriptions are KILLING ME.

Daisuke: While attending culinary school, he has already begun to training at a ramen ship. On days when the store is closed, he is allowed to use the store as it is and serves family-style ramen as the owner. He spends his days researching ramen with V-mon, even though he lives alone at home. (Living alone, huh. Just like your senpai, huh. You better not spiral into depression too, boy.)

Ken: As the winter of his sophmore year of college approaches, the brilliant & talented Ken is gradually beginning to look more to his future, and he continues to study for the police officer's exam. On campus, he continues to be the object of heated attention from those around him, but not one can get in the way of his leasurely reading time with Wormmon. (Everyone is still swooning over Ken, pass it on.)

Miyako: After completing her studies in Spain, Miyako is now studying programming in India. Because Koushiro is extrmeley busy, the 'Digimon Connected' community is mainly run by her. She still likes to wear brightly colored clothing. (SHE’S TAKING AFTER MIMI SO MUCH, I AM SO PROUD. Also Koushirou being “extremely busy”, so she has to take over the Chosen Children network, huh... Now I’m even more curious than before, thanks a lot, Toei, if my boy is taking over the world, you need to let us know.)

Iori: Iori, the youngest member of the group, has already decided to go to law school and has started working part-time at a lawyer's office, although doing simple tasks. He continues to practice kendo, which he learned from his grandfather, and while he has a serious side, he values the relaxed time he can spend with the cheerful and optimistic Armadimon. (The boy is so committed and straightforward, but he’s learning to relax too, I am so proud.)

Takeru: He is a sophomore in the department of literature. He enjoys spending days with everyone, male and female alike, but when it comes time to get to his computer, he's serious about his writing. However, when it comes time to play with Patamon, he thinks nothing of it. (BISEXUAL!TAKERU CONFIRMED.)

Hikari: While studying early childhood education at a junior college, she also works part-time at a daycare center and plays with children in the field. In place of her busy older brother, she works hand-in-hand with Tailmon in Digimon related activities and serves as a hub for her friends. (WHY CAN I PICTURE HER PLAYING WITH CHILDREN SO VIVIDLY. Also, yes, Taichi is busy too, huh...)

it's a straight up miracle that ml is a coherent and enjoyable show despite jeremy zag doing his level best to literally blow it up to smithereens in every possible aspect with his incompetence and ego. i want to say i'm astounded that morons on here and twitter are twisting themselves into pretzels trying to pin the blame on thomas instead of jeremy, but this is honestly par for the course with the collective brain worms disease that infects social media and especially the saltier and whinier parts of this fandom. also it's painfully obvious to anyone with a brain that a good 75% of the drama that thomas "caused" on twitter with snark about chronology/releases/writing/censorship/abruptly shortened story arcs was him having to cover up for jeremy's idiocy and greed to keep himself from being fired from his own show, but then again expecting a functioning brain cell is too much from most of you i guess.
