Chewbeads Dog Tag Teething Necklace in black found at chewbeads.com in multiple colors for $16.50 USD. This is a great option for light chewers. It’s thin and fits in the mouth easily. One side has textured bumps and the other has text that stick out a little but not too much. The text says “CHEWBEADS DAD 10 NEW YORK, NY 10014” imitating a real army dog tag.

Chewbeads is largely targeted at parents with an array of beaded necklaces for babies, although they have a selection of cute pendants for children that many of our lighter chewers might find interesting: spaceman ($14.50 USD) and shark tooth (also $14.50 USD).

I will observe, though, that the description for the dog tag necklace is targeted at men with undertones of “fathers only looking after children when the mother is out”, which makes me twitch just a little. I absolutely think that chewables that are comfortable for people of any gender presentation to wear are a necessity,  and that includes fathers and men. (Trans stimmers especially need access to chewellery that honours our gender and presentation.) It’s the undertones I find objectionable here, not the target, so be aware of that if you click the link.

But since it’s harder to find chewables for light (as opposed to moderate) chewers that are masculine leaning and aren’t in ARK’s red and magenta colours, I’m really glad to have these as an additional option. Thank you!
