I had drawn this just to play with my hc about Chiaki having a parka, but I failed with the palette. Still I just shrugged because this soon turned into a pretext to draw Chiaki scolding Junpei over his tendency to forget umbrellas at home. Chiaki ALWAYS brings along an umbrella and Junpei doesn’t understand the way her brain works.

BONUS: Junpei gets sexualized. Junpei becomes the mc of a romcom anime/manga.

It’s my Twitter big sister Joey’s birthday and like always, I’ve drawn a Chiapei for her ahahhahah. It was supposed to be a redraw, but I’ve added some Sleeping Beauty vibes in my head because hhhhhhhhhh I just took references from there, then I changed Junpei’s pose because he has to be AWKWARD about the situation.

Ehm, Chiaki says, “If you do this and that with me, you will learn how to do it with Izumi-Chan” and Junpei can’t understand how her ideas can really be helpful.

The last chapters of the thundestorm fic were so good. I like it’s Jpzoe but it starts very platonic and becomes that from J.p too. I’ve sketched this for my friend Joey. Since we are having so much fun with this crack shipping and she loves Chiaki very much, WE WILL GO DOWN WITH IT (along with Junzumi ofc). So, I don’t mind sharing it here as well. Chiapei🥹… Rain x lightining 🌧️ x ⚡️. Junpei is not amused by Chiaki’s *cough* Ranamon-like teasing personality, but, at least, she doesn’t call him pathetic over thunders. She just likes ✨making him flustered✨.

What would happen if Chiaki came across the Water Spirits in your AU?

Of course, she would become Ranamon, Anon✨, and no, I don’t think Ranamon needs a “purified” design at all.

I want Chiaki to deal with her water spirit the way it is, with its ebbs and flows. I read Ranamon is a Digimon that’s connected with emotions, so this does make her even more interesting as a Digimon to control. She can be a Human Spirit that’s not always that easy to master, because it’s at the mercy of your own feelings. It’s enough for Chiaki to be conquered by a pinch of anger to start feeling the STRUGGLE; for her to be hit by unpleasant memories to lose her composure, -because she gives the vibes of a girl who’s always trying being perfect, collected, repressing her feelings maybe due to some family situation I would love coming up with-.

I mean…Wuthering kids, which can also mean I can see Junpei and Izumi getting their own challenges with their spirits. Imagine Junpei? He is afraid of lightnings and the show makes it clear that when he’s Blitzmon, he can’t feel fear. Ok, so what if he snaps out of that calm state of mind in the middle of a fight and suddenly begins feeling the sizzling energy inside him?

Izumi’s arc would be interesting to me if it was about control too, but that arc has been given to Chiaki. I kinda want Izumi to grow self-hatred after a while, because she keeps on losing her fights and being rescued, eventually feeling the need to isolate herself from her new friends, just like she does at school. I already wrote something similar in a draft. Hmm, it was about her feeling the worst kind of wind on her skin as if it was made of knives🤣. Very……Funny, yah🤣, a bit like MTTCI.

Nope, Anon. I ship Teruo and Chiaki because they give me the impression they are a reversed Junzumi with Chiaki being the one simping, and because Mercurymon and Ranamon did seem to have some…Chemistry for sure🤣. So who knows.
