“Childhood Friendship” While in PH That was my second day after my arrival, and after revisiting my former neighbors and some partd of the neighborhood, some relatives, and taken some photos around my former neighborhood, those kids saw me taking pictures randomly and asked me to took them altogether, and I’ve agreed. Supposed to be around IG during my stay there, but being busy checking anyone and the places there. These will be my 300th post before this year ends. Anyway, there will be more adventures ahead, more people to meet along, experiences that will be there hard or easy, and everything. My birthday treat for zaki.

Madalas na kasi sya nasa kidzoona so nag iisip pko ng ibang places na pwede nya parin maenjoy. Then I tried Dreamplay city of dreams.

Bago kami pumuntang dreamplay naglunch muna kami sa Popeyes. First namin matry ang popeyes and sobrang naenjoy ko at ni kuya zaki. Naenjoy nya ang biscuits!

After that we went to dreamplay na. Nabigla ako sa entrance fee na Php1,500 per head. 😂 Since birthday naman ni kuya zaki kaya okay na push na!

Hindi ko akalain na ang hahaba ng slides sa loob at grabe yung adventure para makaakyat sa slides kaya sobrang pagod din talaga ako kakahabol at kakasunod sa chikiting. Freshly teeth removed pko that day kaya ang hirap din kumilos ng sobra, bawal magbuhat pero need ko buhat buhatin si kuya lalo na pag gsto nya magpabuhat.

First time ko icelebrate ang birthday nya ng kaming dalawa lang. Walang pressure. Walang limit sa kilos. Nakakagalaw kami ni kuya ng gusto namin. May peace. Hindi man ganon kasaya katulad dati, pero may peace.

After namin maglaro together at magbuy ng dreamplay souvenirs nya, nagstay muna kami saglit sa starbucks inside the mall while waiting for the car.

Nung nasundo na kami nagtry kami magmoa pero super crowded kaya after ng ilang walks sa sea side umalis na rin kami agad.

Habang nakasleep si kuya sa car nagpadaan ako sa goldilucks to buy him a cake. Gusto nya ng chocolate cake kaya yun yung binili ko. Then after that nagdinner na kami sa samgyupsalamat nearby at dun na namin kinantahan ng fam ko ng happy birthday si kuya.

Natapos ang araw. Tinanong ko si kuya kung naging happy sya. Sumagot sya ng yes at nagthank you sakin sabay sabi ng i love you. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam.

Mahal na mahal kita kuya. Gagawin ko lahat to give you the best happy memories with me.

1. Inabutan ko pa yung mga palabas na Batibot, 5 and Up, Chikiting Patrol, Sineskwela, Hiraya Manawari, Bayani, etc. Favorite anime ko pag Sunday morning yung Magic Knight Rayearth. Tinutukan ko yung mga laban nila Eugene at Taguro, Recca at Kurei, at Gokou at Freeza. Lagi kami nagcha-chant ng mga kapatid ko ng "Isa pa! Isa pa! Isa pang chickenjoy!"

2. I believe in splitting the bill.

3. Coffee is my love language. So pag may crush ako binibigyan ko ng kape or niyayaya ko magkape. Same with books. Yayayain ko sya sa bookstore. Magrerecommend ako ng books. If I like the person enough pinapahiram ko ng books. Pag sya naman nag-recommend ng book susubukan kong basahin. I also do my best to make time for the person. Pag niyaya nya ako anywhere g agad ako.

4. I go for a run or ride my bike.

5. Yung business ideas ko mostly related to my passions one way or another. Like dati gusto ko magtayo ng bar and cafe with library. Tipong cozy place lang where people can drink coffee or wine while reading. Yung selection ng books eh personally curated by yours truly.

Then nung nahilig ako sa pagba-bike, cafe for bikers. Aside from coffee eh mag-ooffer din ako ng carb and protein rich meals pati fruit shakes. Then meron din bike mechanic na available para sa mga gusto magpa-tono ng bike nila, pati bike parts.

A couple of years ago I got the chance to fulfill my dream na makapag-bukas ng cafe na geared towards bikers sana kaya lang andami masyadong nakikialam and nagbibigay ng input. I tried my best to listen to all of them, to my detriment. Hindi sya nag-pan out the way I envisioned it kasi andaming outside influence. Na-stuck ako dun sa "cafe" part and di nakapag-focus dun sa "for bikers" part. Hanggang sa nag-fizzle out na lang yung cafe. A lot of other stuff happened: tinurn-over ko yung cafe sa kapatid ko, then nag-venture ako sa bazaar scene, then pati yung pagba-bazaar pinasa ko na sa kapatid ko, then for a short while nag-try kami mag-catering for small events. Nothing worked long term unfortunately. I'm thinking about reviving the cafe pero nandun yung thought na wag na lang kaya? Hirap mag-business. Sa ngayon sa vacation place na lang namin ako nagfofocus while I try to figure out my next steps.

Pride month really hits different this year. On top of being the first pride without my gay friends who’ve been taken away from us by the AFP, we are also facing an impending regime built on lies, manipulation, tyranny and injustice. Queer Pinoys have always fought for everyone’s rights despite our own being continually sidelined or deprioritized by local progressive spaces, so fighting while grieving is nothing new to us. We’ll keep fighting, keep finding the rainbow through the storm. (Literally! June is the start of our monsoon season!) I believe in this community and I’m very grateful for all that we do for each other.

It’s okay to cry and mourn for a bit. Feel the anguish and the pain. Let it be your reminder of why we fight, and why we celebrate ourselves despite everything.

Biglaang chinese style dinner and coffee after. Malapit lang from kaya nakapajama lang si kuya zaki.

Grabe yung pagod ng araw na to. Sobrang likot na ni kuya zaki. Kaya talagang nadrain ako nung araw na to. Syempre kasabay ng pagsaway saway mo sa chikiting, inaasikaso rin ang gawaing bahay at ang small business at the same time. Kaya talaga grabe yung drain.

Eto yung sa sobrang drain ko na napapatahimik na lang talaga ko sa pagod. Kasi wala narin ako energy magsungit or what. Hahaha! Pero kahit ganon pa man. Pag nagagalit ako sinasaway ko naman si zaki in a good way. At syempre lagi ineexplain kung bakit ko sya sinasaway. Walang palo, walang masakit na salita. Habang pasensya sa pag eexplain lang talaga.

After namin magdinner. Nagcoffee kami at nagbrownies and cookies naman si kuya zaki. Pagod, sobra. Pero satisfied at greatful na greatful parin palagi.
