Hi me again 🦐! I dont know if you've been asked this before, but where ypu and your wife forced to leave or did you two choose to. And what were your families reactions to it? If its not to mich for you to share!!

"No, it's- It's nothing like that. The home I grew up in was barely big enough for a family of seven growing up, and even though my dad passed shortly before Mei and Fler came along, eight mouths to feed was too many. Especially with my older brother and sister having kids of their own on the way...."

"We'd heard about the bustling dungeoneering business in Kahka Brud and thought that it'd be a better place to raise our two girls, we'd have more money, better jobs, better healers if something bad happened, better education... We'd only just turned 14, we didn't really know any better."

"My mother did, though. We had a big argument about it. She told me there was a reason half-foots stayed amongst their own, that it was safer, but I didn't believe her. I didn't even really believe that elves and tallmen could be much bigger than the dwarves and gnomes that came to our village every so often. I stormed out with the girls, slept at Fay's, and then the next day, we took everything we could carry and left."

"When we got to Kahka Brud... It was a big wake up call, that's for sure. I'd never truly felt small until I walked among tallmen and tried to buy food at their stalls... never truly felt like a kid until a tallman asked me if me and my little sisters had lost our parents... never truly felt so weak as when I got accused of being a thief and held upside down by my leg by someone twice my size. My mother was right about everything. But after our fight... I couldn't just go home."

"The only thing keeping me from going back to my hometown is my own stubborn pride. It's been nearly sixteen years since I left. I can't just go back now."

Dungeon Meshi, ah, Dungeon Meshi! What a wonderful gift this anime was! And I finally got to finish this ❤️

I'm drawing each of the main cast eating brazilian food 🇧🇷☕

Starting with Chilchuck eating a personal favorite "pão de queijo e café", to me Chilk would love coffee so much 😂 and pão de queijo is a small snack, fitting for a halffoot!

I told him it was a bad idea, but he wouldn't take no for an answer, said if I didn't help him he'd do it himself. So I gave in, negotiated his contract for him, and down he went. Simple job. Few days at most."
