The Buffalo Milk Cocktail
Got this tasty drink from Chilled Magazine. It is almost like a White Russian with some Crème de Banana in the mix as well. By the looks of it one will fill you up and with the garnish it cannot be all bad for you either
Buffalo Milk
Ingredients:
.75 oz. Creme de Cacao
.75 oz. Kahlua
.75 oz. Creme de Banana
1.5 oz. Vodka
Half and Half
Whipped Cream (to Garnish)
Grated Nutmeg (to Garnish)
Banana Slice (to Garnish)
Preparation: Blend liquid ingredients together with ice and top with whipped cream, nutmeg and a banana slice. Serve in a hurricane glass.

The Bearly Forgotten from @chilledmagazine ・・・ Photo by Christine Jeanine Bearly Forgotten Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz. Bärenjäger & Bourbon 1 1/2 oz. Grapefruit & Fig Shrub* 1/4 oz. Manzanilla Sherry 1/4 Lemon Fresh Grapefruit Peel (for Garnish) Preparation: Put all ingredients in a shaker tin with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and garnish with a wide grapefruit peel. *Grapefruit & Fig Shrub Ingredients: 2 Cups Ruby Grapefruit Juice 10 oz. Dried Figs 2 Cups Sherry Vinegar 1 Cup Local Honey (I used Ziegler’s Georgia Tallow from Georgia) 2 Tablespoons Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur 1 Tablespoon Cloves 4 Cinnamon Sticks 1/2 Cup Water 1 tsp Salt Preparation: Put all ingredients, omitting one cup of vinegar, into a saucepan and reduce by 1/3. Strain through a fine strainer, let cool, add remaining vinegar and bottle. A perfect Holiday #Cocktail 🍹The Stinger 🍹 • • I've always been into #Classic #Cocktails as a delicious #art form 🍸🍹History: Probably made first in the 1890s. But according to @AlanaTielmann in her article for @chilledmagazine 👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Reginald Vanderbilt, (Gloria Vanderbilt’s dad), described the Stinger in 1923 as “a short drink with a long reach, a subtle blend of ardent nectars, a boon to friendship, a dispeller of care.” The Stinger appears in many of Hollywood’s Golden Era films as a cocktail. For example, Bing Crosby explains to Grace Kelly in the 1956 film High Society why it’s called The Stinger. Of course, because it removes the sting? In the 1957 comedy Kiss Them for Me, Cary Grant orders the bartender to keep the Stingers coming in order to deal with Jayne Mansfield’s chatty character. CHOCOLATE VANILLA MILKSHAKE COCKTAIL (recipe courtesy of @LiquorDotCom) . INGREDIENTS: 3 cups of premium vanilla ice cream, 12 oz of whole milk, 3 ice cubes, 2 oz of good-quality bourbon, and 6 tbsp of simple chocolate syrup. . HOW TO MAKE SIMPLE CHOCOLATE SYRUP: .25 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder (such as Valrhona), .5 cup water, 1 cup sugar, .25 tsp salt Whisk together the cocoa powder and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat until fully dissolved. Whisk in the sugar and increase the heat to medium-high. Boil the mixture for about 3 minutes, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the salt. Sabes como preparar el café Irlandes? Hoy en #recetasconcafé te enseñaremos. Existen muchas historias sobre el origen del café irlandés y definitivamente la más escuchada es la del retraso de un vuelo de la compañía Pan American. El retraso se dio en el aeropuerto Shannon, en Irlanda; Joe Sheridan, un chef de la localidad de Foynes, se le ocurrió incorporar whiskey y crema batida a los clásicos cafés que se servían en el aeropuerto. Otra historia narra que el café irlandés original fue inventado por Joe Jackson en el Hotel Ulster, situado en el Condado de Donegal en Irlanda. En dicho hotel, una de las especialidades de la casa era el café irlandés, hecho a base de café negro, azúcar, whisky irlandés y una capa de crema en la parte superior. Tambien indican que el café irlandés fue inventado en Dublín en los años 30s por Michael Nugent, propietario de lo que una vez fue el principal local de cócteles de Dublín, el Hotel Dolphin. Lo bueno de todas estas historias es que coinciden en su preparación. Se trata de únicamente cuatro ingredientes: azúcar (opcional), whiskey, café y crema batida (chantilly) también conocida como nata montada. Pasos e ingredientes: 1. Precalienta la copa. 2. Añade el azúcar o sirope simple (opcional) y 40 ml de whiskey. 3. Llena el vaso con café caliente, dejando 1 cm por debajo del borde. Remueve para diluir completamente el azúcar. 4. Ahora agrega con mucho cuidado la crema chantilly montada sin que se mezcle con el café. Te puedes ayudar con el dorso de una cuchara para que caiga con más suavidad. 5. Voilà! Listo para servir. La bebida no se debe remover para beber. ¿Cómo preparar el café? Con tu método favorito, puede ser filtrado o un espresso alargado con agua (osea un americano). El sirope simple se prepara con partes iguales de azúcar-agua y se disuelve hasta que toda el azúcar esté integrada. Si bien esta es la receta clásica, esta está abierta a variaciones como la manera en la que se endulza y la nata montada puede decorarse con chocolate, canela o nuez moscada. #Repost from @chilledmagazine ・・・ Frozen Tundra By Derwayne Chesterman Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz. Mamont Vodka 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup 3/4 oz. Lime Juice (Fresh Squeezed) 1 dash Angostura Bitters 1 dash Ginger Beer 5 White Grapes 2 Large Basil sprigs 2 Frozen White Grapes (for Garnish) 1 Basil sprig (for Garnish) Preparation: Fill a martini glass with ice to chill. Add the following ingredients to a cocktail shaker and crush with a muddler – lime juice, simple syrup, white grapes and basil sprigs. Add ice, Mamont Vodka and bitters, then shake vigorously. Remove chilling ice from martini shell and place 3 frozen grapes in the bottom and a dash of ginger beer. Using a hawthorn strainer and mesh strainer, double strain into the martini shell.
