In merely a couple hours, the birthday of a certain ex-actor now detective will draw to a close and still, a present has made its way into his home.

Compared to most of the presents received today, it seemed very, really small, what could it be?

It was a little phone charm made out of beads! It even resembles his pet owl Isis! And just as usual, there was a note accompanying it.

“Shiba-san, a happy birthday to you! I really appreciated the dresses you sent at the Secret Santa event by the way! Anyways, I started learning bead weaving as of recent and thought about making this one for you!“

Isis landed on Lyall’s shoulder as he pulled the gift from its box. Staring intently at the beaded charm for a few minutes, the black colored owl let out a hoot content at the gift.  

“I assume it has your seal of approval, Isis? Anubis knows how picky you can be.” Lyall chuckled. Isis, unamused with his question, screeched and began to bite at the goth's ears. “Ouch Isis!” 

Letting out a triumphant hoot, Isis snatched the charm out of Lyall’s hand and began to fly around, making sure to stay out of Lyall’s reach.

“Isis give that back, or I swear no treats for you for a week!”

"Ah, Mr. Ise. A bright, intellectual man. I believe some of our equipment here in the church, our loudspeakers and such, were all manufactured by his company, Wonder⇓anD Sound Systems. Brilliant company, and brilliant equipment, if I do say so myself. You are truly an amazing man, Mr. Ise. Truly, truly, amazing, indeed." Masa says all this with a smile on his face. He sits down at a desk, placing his hands in front of him, still smiling. He then sighs, almost with a regretful tone.

"It's because of your intellect and enthusiasm that I respect you so much. ...And it's because of that, that I simply cannot understand why, for the life of me, you'd choose to work against me instead of with me to create a new and more perfect world. You insult my vision, my work, my church, call me out of my name, and try to prevent me from bringing more followers into the fold. If those were the only issues, I could have easily forgiven you. Because believe it or not, Mr. Ise, all of those things I am quite used to. I am quite used to dealing with the ignorant and those who don't fully understand my methods. And as I stated, if those were your only sins, I could have easily let them fall to the wayside."

"...But." Masa's voice takes a sudden change as a frown appears on his face. "The one thing I cannot forgive you is your heinous acts against my good friend, Eiji Noguchi. Eiji-san and I... we have a mutual relationship. And though he and I don't always agree, we are friends, as well as partners. "I don't know what your issues with Mr. Noguchi are, Mr. Ise. And to be perfectly honest, I do not care. But I strongly advise that you take whatever issues or problems you have him and get over them. If not, I won't be responsible if anything... untoward happens to happen to your company. Plus, I feel I'm doing Juu and my followers a disservice by saying that. I'll just say this, instead: what happened to him wasn't meant to happen, but it did. And if you need someone to blame for that, then I suggest you look in a mirror."

It’s been 8 years since this old man got to celebrate Christmas, so naturally he goes all out in decorating his apartment! Having a lot of money with him he casually blows it up on any super expensive decor he could lay his hands on!

…no, he doesn’t live under the same roof as his wife and kids all thanks to his in-laws.

He doesn’t. He’ll put on an pair of headphones during the season and goes about his day, though he takes any hot trash music his guild friends play whenever they all meet up.

He prefers staying inside with the warmth of his two housemates and hot chocolate as he’s not fond of the cold it reminds him of the laboratories. They don’t have a fireplace in the sharehouse but they do have one of those portable room heaters around!

She sees Chiyuri like a dog to be trained— when he gives out results she doesn’t like, he gets punished, and he gets rewarded with otherwise. Unfortunately for him, the latter barely happens. Her colleagues hate her as she usually hogs resources on fruitless experiments. After Chiyuri’s escape, she seemed to have vanished into thin air, good riddance, hopefully.

Gilbert Perillo† - Chiyuri’s co-creator and Seiko’s partner, there is nothing notable about him save for his mutilated corpse suddenly being discovered at an alleyway in Marunouchi.
