A/N: It slightly hurt to write this because Choerry is such a sweetheart and I don’t know how anyone could possibly be cold towards her.

“Did you guys hear that it was going to rain today?” Yeojin asked, causing everyone to turn their attention to her. Haseul and Choerry were the ones who seemed to listen more closely after hearing those words.

You were all chilling in the living room as some show was playing on the tv in the background. Some were watching and some were on their phone.

“Yeah, I heard it was going to be pretty bad.” Kim Lip chimed in, earning a few groans from everyone. Rainy weather was always nice but when it was intense, it wasn’t as calming as it normally would be.

“It’s going to be thundering later on tonight.” Hyeju spoke after she looked up from her phone, causing another simultaneous round of groans.

It was always a pain when bad weather came around, specifically thunderstorms. There were a few members scared of them, some more than others and it would result in the older ones to look after them, even if they were scared themselves.

Thunderstorms didn’t scare you as much and although you weren’t part of the unnie line, you still provided comfort to others, including the older ones.

“In case of a blackout, there’s some candles and flashlights in the cabinet.” Yves stated as she stood up, making her way over to the cabinet she was referring to and opening it for everyone to see. The mention of a potential blackout only seemed to further worry Choerry and as you looked over at her, you picked up on that. Her leg was bouncing and her arms were crossed. You’ve always paid close attention to her and her mannerisms.

See, you and Choerry may not have had the closest relationship due to you both being complete opposites, but that didn’t mean you didn’t care for her. If anything, you cared too much for her. Part of the reason being the fact that you have feelings for her and that she’s one of your members. It was expected of you to care for her. The issue is that you were so closed off when it came to her and she never knew why, but you knew very well why.

“I’m not going to be able to sleep tonight.” Choerry murmured, to which you chuckled lightly. “It’s just rain, you’ll be fine.” You reassured before standing up and heading to your room, separating yourself from everyone. She watched you the whole way until you were out of sight.

“Don’t worry Yerim, you’ll be okay.” Haseul spoke softly as she patted her on the head, smiling. “Y/N is probably going to sleep in another room so she doesn’t have to deal with me.” Choerry half-heartedly joked, causing the others to let out a few laughs while shaking their head at her comment.

Unbeknownst to you, Choerry would often get hurt at your coldness towards her. She would see how you’d react to some of the other members and wondered why you wouldn’t be as warm with her as you were with them. There were also quite a few times where her feelings got hurt because of tone of your words.

After your departure, everyone eventually retreated back to their shared rooms and went on about their day. Soon enough, you heard a knock at the door and the only person you could think of it being, was Choerry.

“It’s your room too, Yerim.” You stated, not bothering to look up to the door and continuing to read your book. The door opened and there stood an awkward Choerry. “Right, sorry.” She spoke sheepishly, avoiding any possible eye contact with you and made her way to her side of the room.

You didn’t even acknowledge her and to her, it definitely stung but she chose to brush it off since that’s just how you were. However, she didn’t know that you were still able to see her in your peripheral vision, a small smile on your face as you noticed her trying to get comfortable in her bed.

You both were just doing your own thing and due to the silence on the other side of the room, you assumed she was just on her phone. It was like that for a few hours and you’re sure at one point she actually fell asleep, but woke up after there was noise heard from outside of the room. It was around 8pm, and that usually signaled that someone was cooking in the kitchen.

However, that wouldn’t be the only sound to be heard when a booming noise came from outside, startling Choerry. You heard some screams coming from the kitchen so you assumed it scared a few of the girls as well.

You looked over at Choerry, who now had the blanket over her head. You knew how terrified she was of thunderstorms and you honestly felt bad, really bad.

Another rumble from the sky was heard and a whimper followed after that. You were certain that the sound came from Choerry and it only made you feel worse, wanting nothing more but to hold her and assure her that’s everything is okay.

“Choerry..” You whispered, causing her to slowly lower the blanket to where only her eyes were visible. You found that incredibly adorable but you didn’t let that distract you from your original motive, which was to comfort her.

“You should come over here, I know you’re not a big fan of thunderstorms.” You continued as you lifted up your covers, that were just waiting for her to get under.. You could tell she was very hesitant.

“Why do you care?” She asked, her voice much lower than you’re used to. Hearing that felt like a direct hit to the heart. If only she knew how much you truly cared.

“Because I do, now you can come here or i’m coming to you.” You spoke, your tone cold but a slight softness to it. Before Choerry could say anything back, lightning struck and thunder followed, causing her to scream and cover her ears. “Guess i’m coming to you.” You mumbled to yourself before pulling the covers off you and stepping out of bed.

You made your way over to her and kneeled down once you reached her bed. “Can you move over, please?” You asked, to which she scooted over without saying anything. You climbed under the covers, sitting up and facing her.

You opened your mouth to say something but of course, you were interrupted by another roar outside. Choerry immediately held onto you and hid her head in your neck, completely catching you off guard. Your hands were awkwardly ghosting over her until you snapped back into reality when another whimper left her mouth, causing you to wrap your arms around her.

She gripped onto your shirt tighter as a way to prevent you from leaving. As if you’d leave her especially in a time like this. If anything, you would stay here for as long as she wished, and also because you wanted to.

“I’m not going anywhere, I promise.” You whispered into her hair, using your free hand to caress it. You were holding her very closely as the commotion outside continued. You were sure it was going to go on for awhile, but you were willing to comfort her for the time being.

“Why are you doing this?” Choerry whispered, clearly confused by your actions. The question confused you at first, but you understood why she would question your actions.

“Because I want to, Yerim.” You spoke, coming off harsher than you had intended to, which was not at all. She muttered a small ‘sorry’ and went quiet. You realized how you sounded and mentally facepalmed yourself.

“No, I’m sorry..” You softened your tone, causing her to lift her head from your neck and look at you. “Why are you apologizing?” She asked as her eyebrows furrowed and she placed her hand on yours. Such a simple action, yet it made your heart skip a beat. The fact that she always remained sweet to you despite you not being the same towards her, was mind boggling to you and it only further affirmed the feelings you felt for her.

“I’m always so cold towards you and I truly don’t mean to be.” You began, looking down and avoiding eye contact with her. Even though you couldn’t see her, you could tell she was listening attentively once she squeezed your hand gently.

“I just- I like you so much and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to handle and process my feelings, and I know it seems that I don’t care about you but I really do. More than you could ever know.” You confessed, feeling significantly more self-conscious now that you’ve let everything out.

A few seconds of silence passed and you slowly looked up to see her reaction, fearful of what it might be but still curious. You were met with a smile and it caused your lips to curve into a smile. Her smile was contagious on its own.

“I feel the same way..” She admitted and your eyebrows furrowed. Of course, you were more than ecstatic, but you didn’t understand how she could reciprocate the feelings when you didn’t treat her as warmly as you should’ve.

“I know what you’re thinking, but there’s a reason for why i’m more sensitive when it comes to you.” She continued after noticing your visible confusion. “But-“ You didn’t have a chance to finish when lips connected with yours, leaving you stunned. Before you could reciprocate, Choerry pulled back.

“I’m so sorry!“ She quickly apologized, feeling extremely flustered. “I thought-“ She was interrupted by you cupping her face and placing your lips on hers, once again. She melted into the kiss and you did the same. It felt magical and butterflies were erupting in your stomach.

Eventually, you both pulled away with a smile and put your foreheads together. You couldn’t help but giggle and she joined in, softly shoving you until you fell back onto the pillows. She laid next to you and rested her head on her hand, smiling down at you. Your found yourself blushing when you noticed the loving gaze she was sending your way. Words could not express how you felt at that moment.

Because the holidays are coming up, Loona have been rehearsing a special performance that surprisingly required background dancers, despite how many members there already were. Hearing this news made Hyeju excited because whenever they needed background dancers they'd use the trainees in the company, and y/n was one of them.

The CEO of BBC favored y/n more than the other trainees and didn't try to hide it. So that led to y/n always practicing with Loona and being in their performances as a background dancer.

Hyeju on the other hand liked y/n for a totally different reason. The both attended school together before Hyeju called quits, but they had chemistry. Both of them forming small crushes on each other hoping the other wouldn't know, but it was very obvious to those around them.

The afternoon of rehearsal, Hyeju and Sooyoung had a small dance break. So they would run through the part continuously, receiving cheers and screams from their 10 chaotic members.

"alright break time" their choreographer announced before exiting the room. Hyeju was sitting in a random corner of the practice room, downing her cup of ice cold water when a shadow appeared above her.

"you did amazing" y/n complimented while plopping down next to Hyeju. The dark haired girl blushed at the compliment trying not to choke on her water.

"thank you, you did amazing too. Your dancing improved so much" y/n hid her face in her hands not wanting Hyeju to see her all gushy.

From afar, Jiwoo smiled while supposedly 'listening' to Yeojin talk, but instead was watching Hyeju and y/n attempt to have a conversation without being a blushy mess.

"unnie you aren't even listening to me" Yeojin pouted, "m' sorry Yeojinie, continue"

"yeojin come here!" Choerry called for the maknae. Yeojin left Jiwoo's side giving Jiwoo the chance to bombard the two shy girls' conversation. She had a plan in mind.

"hey Hyeju, y/n. How's it going?" Jiwoo chipped.

"hi, Jiwoo unnie" y/n greeted looking at the ground next to her.

Jiwoo's next question left the girls choking on their spit, "you and Hyeju would make a really cute couple, don't ya think?"

"ahem...what?" Hyeju's voice cracked causing y/n to giggle. "C-couple? Unnie you're embarrassing me"

"but look at you. You guys totally like each other. Everyone knows this" Jiwoo playfully scoffed, rolling her eyes. Hyeju was too stunned to speak, sneaking glances at y/n and y/n returned them every one in a while. Before anything else happened Jiwoo made up a lousy excuse before leaving the two girls alone in the corner once again.

"d-do you like me?" Hyeju questioned while pinching the skin on her palm. From Hyeju's peripheral view she saw y/n slowly nod her head causing something inside her to dance and get all jittery.

"maybe we could like...go see a movie tonight?" Y/n suggested hoping for a yes.

She got her wish as Hyeju responded with, "I'm down." Both girls were then a smiling mess throughout the rest of practice as the recent scene replayed through their minds.

A burning sensation goes through your whole body, hot tears seeping through your shut eyelids. It’s as if someone was pounding the insides of your head with a hammer. The world feels like it’s spinning even with your eyes closed. Your hands began to sweat as your feet shivers in cold. It’s as if you were

“Burning hot!” Haseul shouts as you finally render the reality of being incredibly sick. Although snapping you out of the nap, she also manages to cause a ringing in your ears. Raising your hands to cover your ears, haseul realises what she did thus frantically apologies in a low whispering voice.

Another effect of Haseul’s loud proclamation is the alerted lover as she was about to enter the room after the leader. Peeping her head through the door, jinsoul meets your hot teary eyes. With a quick glance at haseul, she rushes to the nearest bathroom and grabs a basin of water and a towel. On her way to your room she asks choerry to get her some medicine.

“How’d you even get so sick?” Your girlfriend questions as she palms her head onto the side of your bed. “I don’t know, maybe it’s a sign for me to take a rest.” Your voice is soar and you cough after every sentence you let out. “Well than I’m sure heejin’s gonna get a sign to, have you seen that girl this morning?” You give her a bewildered face. “Of course not! She was at the gym, again. Oh and you’re practically bedridden.” You give her a deadpan look as a response to her story.

“Well-“ you’re quickly cut off by her finger pressing against your lips. “You’re gonna make your sore throat worst.” Her face shows concern, comfort and most prominently love. Maybe it was just the fever getting to your head, but you swear she got so close to the point you were about to faint.

“Are you okay? Am I too close? Is it too hot?” Although jinsoul wants to kiss you right now, she still wants to make sure you were comfortable. You move your nose slightly to the side, so your getting a little bit of the room’s air and not just the hot breathe between you too. “I’m fine now”

Understanding the action, jinsoul closes the proximity between you two. Her cold lips hits yours as your opposite temperature hands intertwining. The kiss lasts for a good minute until you gently push away her by the shoulders, fearing the chances of fainting.

“You’re gonna get sick” you warn her, focus loss in her hypnotising eyes. “It’s fine. I’m sure I can handle it.”

She couldn’t.

Besides your bed, is her, wrap in a burrito style blanket, rolling side to side. “My body is so cold yet my face is practically burning!” She wails. You lift your body up on the side as you face her with your head on your palm and your other arm draping on the propped hand supporting your upper body. “I told you” you cockily say, teasing her for her lack of tolerance.

“Ugh, whatever. At least I get one benefit.” She replies, laying on her back, with her head facing you. “And what’s that?” There’s that face again,. A face with so many emotions but most prominently love. “I get to be with you and avoid packed schedules” It’s stupid, there are way more cons in being sick, like raising suspicion within the fandom, but what can you do when you’re both unbelievably lovesick.

Prompt: Hi! Can I request a Choerry (loona) x fem!reader fic. Choerry is dating her classmate and only Olivia knows because they go to the same school. But one day Olivia lets it slip that they’re dating when arguing with Choerry and the other members find out and are upset they didn’t know.

Choerry hadn’t meant to hide her relationship from her members. At least, not really. It had just happened that way. She knew that idols weren’t technically supposed to date, and if it came out that she was dating it might hurt the group. And she’d gotten enough lectures from Haseul and Kim Lip to know that she had to be careful with certain things now that she was a celebrity, and that she didn’t want any more lectures. So instead of bringing it up at the dinner table the day the two of you started dating, the mention of you died in her throat, and she decided to keep it a secret. Just in case.

Olivia new, though. Of course she did, Choerry couldn’t hide anything from her, especially not when they went to school with each other, like, every day. She’d met you before, and she’d been the person that Choerry turned to for advice when it came to asking you out. When she’d asked why Choerry didn’t tell the other girls, a little confused by it all, Choerry had explained her reasoning, and Olivia had understood, agreeing to keep her secret for her.

And so Choerry’s secret relationship was safe. At least for a while. Her classmates hadn’t noticed a thing, since the two of you hanging out all the time wasn’t all that weird, and her members hadn’t noticed any changes in her bubbly demeanor. If anything, Haseul had pointed out that she seemed even more happy than usual, but Choerry had blamed it on getting good grades and Loona’s success, and Haseul had seemed to buy it. Everything was going great.

Then the secret shattered along with Olivia’s brand new 3DS game. In Choerry’s defense, Olivia had left the game on the floor (which was dumb) in front of the couch where she usually sat playing the game (also dumb) knowing that it was about to be dark and that the girls would be walking around in the dark (her dumbest decision of all). Anyone could have stepped on the game and broken it, fate had just chosen Choerry to hear the snap under her heel as she walked past the couch to get to the window.

At first, she’d thought it was nothing and had just gone to sleep after watering the plants she had at the window. But when she woke up to Olivia screaming up a storm in the living room, she realized her mistake.

“My game! It’s broken into pieces! Who did this? Who stepped on it?” Olivia was holding up the broken pieces with her face red when Choerry came into the room. “I just got this game and it’s already broken!”

“That’s why you shouldn’t leave your things on the floor,” Haseul said, not phased in the slightest as she headed for the kitchen. She was used to the maknae line making noise in the dorm. But Choerry, on the other hand, felt a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, because now she remembered the snapping sound from the night before, and she knew that she was the culprit.

“I didn’t think someone would mercilessly snap my game into pieces just because I left it on the floor!”

“I doubt they meant to do it,” Kim Lip said, trying (and failing) to calm down the irate girl.

“This game cost me so much money, I was saving up for this, I can’t believe I just got to play it once....” She looked up, her eyes ablaze. “Which one of you walked out here last night?”

All the girls looked at each other, sleepy and confused. Everyone was always milling around. There was no telling who had broken the game. At least, there would be no telling, had Choerry not remembered the snap under her heel, and her sleepy confusion the night before as she’d wiped her foot off on the carpet.

“Anyone could have done it,” Yves said, shrugging her shoulders. “We’re all out here all the time-.”

“I think it was me,” Choerry confessed, blushing to the tips of her ears and feeling guilty as she stepped forward. “I was watering my plants before bed and I stepped on something but I didn’t think to see what it was.”

Olivia’s dark eyes turned on Choerry, and she glared. “Wow, my own classmate betrayed me.”

“I didn’t mean to break it, I swear! Do you think I’d go around breaking your stuff for fun?”

“I don’t know, but you should have looked where you were going!”

Huffing, Choerry crossed her arms. She’d been planning on offering to pay for it, but now Olivia was being a brat, and she was not having it. “Don’t put your stuff on the floor, just like Haseul-unnie said! It’s your fault!”

“I thought people would look where they were going! How is it my fault when you’re the one who broke it? You’re the worst!”

“Girls,” Haseul said, trying to step between them, but Olivia was fuming, and by now, Choerry was getting angry too.

“I’m the worst? What, because I didn’t see a tiny little game cartridge on the carpet floor at midnight? This is in no way my fault! I was going to buy you another game, but if you’re going to be such a big baby about it, then I wont!”

“Fine then! You know what, I don’t need a friend like you, so you can just keep hanging out with your girlfriend at school and just forget about me, because I’m angry at you!”

Choerry’s retort died on her tongue as soon as she realized what Olivia had said, and Olivia seemed to realize belatedly too, taking a small step back with her eyes widening. For a moment, the room was quiet. And then Haseul turned to look at Choerry with her eyebrows raised.

“Girlfriend?”

“What the heck? Choerry, you have a girlfriend?” Jinsoul said, stepping forward with shock written all over her face. “Why didn’t you say anything?”

With her face heating up, Choerry turned to glare at Olivia, who suddenly looked sheepish and apologetic, her face flushing as well as all eyes fixated on her.

“And Olivia? You knew and didn’t tell us?” Chuu sounded betrayed as she put a hand to her heart, and Olivia swallowed, glancing at Choerry. Neither of them knew what to do now that the secret was out, and she was slowly starting to panic. What could she even say?

“U-um. Yeah, I have a girlfriend.”

“Why didn’t you say anything?” Haseul asked, and all eyes turned back to Choerry. She felt a bit like cowering under the heat of their gazes.

“I-I was scared! I’m an idol and I thought you guys might get mad or something.” Again, the room went quiet. And then Haseul sighed and ran her fingers through her short hair, breakfast forgotten about.

“Okay, girls. Everyone sit down. We need to have a talk.”

Choerry usually liked talks. This was not the good kind of talk, she could tell as she anxiously sat beside Olivia on the floor, the rest of the girls gathered in a semi-circle around them. Haseul, of course, was the one to start, folding her hands together and looking between the two girls.

“Choerry, Olivia, I want the two of you to tell me everything that has happened. Starting from the beginning. Choerry, you can go first, since you’re the one with the girlfriend.”

With her face heating up, Choerry started, looking down at the carpet as she spoke. “I met my girlfriend (Y/N) at school. We’ve been friends for a little while but then we started dating, about six months ago.” A couple of the girls gasped at the time, but she continued. “Olivia knew because I went to her for advice on how to ask (Y/N) out, and because she goes to school with both of us. She’s friends with (Y/N) too. I meant to tell you all, but I got really nervous about everyone knowing. Me dating could potentially hurt us as a group, and I thought I might get a lecture, or that you might get mad and tell the company and they might make us break up, so I decided to keep it a secret. I didn’t want to break up with (Y/N), because I really, really like her. Olivia said she would keep it a secret if I wanted her to. That’s all.”

“Olivia?” Haseul turned to the other girl, and she cleared her throat awkwardly, her face pink.

“Um, I met (Y/N) through Choerry and knew about their relationship. I helped them get together and stuff. And I was going to say something to everyone, because honestly it’s a big teasing opportunity, but then Choerry said she didn’t want everyone to know and explained why, and I thought it was a good enough reason. So I kept it a secret too.”

The rest of the girls glanced at each other, and then Haseul nodded slowly, like she was trying to gather the words she wanted to say. “As your leader, I understand why you did all of this. But as your friend, I’m disappointed that you didn’t tell me.”

Choerry felt a stab of pain and decided to keep her head down for now.

“We’re here for you, Choerry,” Kim Lip said, continuing off of Haseul. “We’re your friends. Like your sisters. We only want the best for you, you know that. And although we might have had to sit down and talk about some specifics, we would have been happy for you.”

“We could have helped with dating advice,” Yves pointed out, and Chuu nodded her head.

“I would have loved to talk about dating with you,” she said, “and I would have been happy for you, you know that.”

“We could never be mad at you, not for dating,” Jinsoul added, shaking her head. “Dating is normal. Loving someone shouldn’t be punished. And we’d never tell on you to the managers.”

“I don’t think our managers would care, even, as long as you were safe and smart about it,” Haseul said, reaching out to touch Choerry’s leg. At the touch, she glanced up, and saw Haseul smiling fondly at her. “We just want the best for you, Choerry. You know that.”

“Yeah, I know.” She sniffled a little, feeling tears come to her eyes. It had been a stressful morning, and she hadn’t even been able to eat yet. “I’m sorry.”

“Apology accepted,” the leader said, looking at the other girls, who all nodded in unison. “Just tell us these things next time, okay? There should be no secrets in the group.” Fixing her eyes on Olivia, she raised her eyebrows. “That especially goes for secrets between members. That could harm the team dynamic.”

“Sorry, I didn’t realize,” Olivia said, hanging her head as well, and Yves reached out to pat her head, a little smile on her lips.

“We forgive you. You were just trying to protect your friend. Don’t worry, kid.”

“I’m not a kid!” Olivia pouted and swatted at the older girl’s hand, but Choerry could see that she was relieved.

“We’re a team, everyone,” Haseul said with a smile. “That’s why these talks are necessary.”

“It’s more like a family bonding session,” Yeojin pointed out, making everyone laugh.

“That’s exactly what it is. We’re family, girls. Never forget that. Family first, coworkers second.” Haseul gave Choerry’s knee a comforting little squeeze before letting it go, and she felt relief wash over her. They weren’t mad at her. It was okay. She could love you. “I still think two of you owe each other an apology, though.” Haseul pointed, and Choerry and Olivia looked at each other, sheepish smiles on their faces.

“Sorry for breaking your game, really. I didn’t mean to. I’ll buy you another one.”

“Sorry for yelling at you. I was too caught up in the moment. I like being friends with you.”

“All’s forgiven?” Choerry opened her arms, and Olivia laughed before leaning in to give her a hug.

“All’s forgiven.”

“Great!” Hyunjin jumped up from the circle and stretched, the first time that she’d shown any movement since that morning. “Can we get on to breakfast now that we’re all happy? I’m starving.”

“Hyunjin! They were having a cute moment!”

“But I’m hungry, Heejin!”
