The feeling when people ask you what your hobbies are and you don't want to tell because you think you're just a loser. That's how I feel because everyone I know has thoughtful hobbies like drawing, reading, doing sports , stanning relevant people and then there's me lol-

I'm regularly watching Riverdale, listening to Little Mix, Fifth Harmony and One Direction even though they're on hiatus, crying over Choni and Beronica, writing fanfiction about the four of them, laughing my ass off about Riverdale (because this show is madly funny, fight me), reading Bi-Archie tweets, liking every TikTok about Boyfriend-Taylor and making unnecessary Spotify playlists. Yes, that's what I do when I'm bored and I'm afraid to say it to people

okay so i've had a lot of time to process this and i have MANY, MANY problems with that finale, but the one thing i know for sure is that cher and toni did not f*cking name their child Dale.

like yes haha so funny because the boy's actual name is River and they lived in riverdale, but fanfiction and choni endgame stans wanted something like thomas. WHY DID THEY NAME HIM AFTER THE TOWN THAT ALMOST GOT THEM KILLED MULTIPLE TIMES???

Why do you think most hard-core choni fans, at least those on Twitter, are also pro BA and anti BHVA? I wonder it it's half wanting Choni to be the "original end game ship" and half hating veronica due to people (joke) shipping her with Cheryl. They all seem to be huge Tabitha fans too. There is a pattern.

I think that's kind of always been the case, anon, and I'm not sure why. Maybe the ships that have been slightly controversial stick together? Hard to tell. Some seem bitter that BH had so many scenes. That's more of a matter of what the audience responds to, but I digress. And while I know that there are genuine Tabitha fans, most seem to be Tabitha fans by default. As in she either poses no threat to their ship, or in the case of BA fans, she keeps Jug away from Betty. Again, so confident in their ship. But honestly, stan Twitter seems like such a toxic place in general. I have a Twitter account, but purposely I have never gone near stan Twitter, because as we know, I don't go to bat for celebrities.

my thing with choni is that i DO like them together, and i DO want them back together, but i think that that's more of a madelaine/vanessa chemistry thing than a cheryl and toni logic and reasoning thing, which makes me feel anti-intellectual like some sort of instagram riverdale stan, but unfortunately that is the way it is lol. i think toni and her personality, interests, and storylines get very muted around cheryl in a way that isn't great, but they function well as a unit and are fun to watch onscreen together. like they really do love each other. the whole thing with heather being like "cheryl and toni are soulmates in every timeline" seemed like an indication that they're, for lack of a better word, endgame, and i'm not mad about it because they're cute and fun! i just think it's funny that "destiny" is the only way they could reasonably come back together because, despite all of the longing looks over the past two seasons, ultimately toni is so much healthier and more well-rounded without my overbearing girlie cheryl. also i love the backstory of abigail and thomasina and how that factors into their love story over the grand scheme of the town's cyclical story, so i think the soulmate element is there. i just want a touch more real-world logic and emotion to be involved

tangs feels like a safe, if somewhat boring, option. i don't mind them, and i think they've had some very sweet moments, though they seem more like good friends than romantic partners. i'm glad they're raising baby anthony together, but i don't think their similar upbringings as serpents are enough to sustain the relationship longterm now that he's not a baby anymore. somehow they're 26-year-old bi4bi empty nesters, and i think they're going to realize that they can't spend the rest of their lives with only their adult son in common. all of their disagreements about how to handle both anthony and the serpents don't seem like they're ever on the same page, but i don't hate it by any means, i just think their whole dalliance feels like a stopover because it was always designed to be one.

kangs... well! kevin sort of annoys me, and frankly it seems dangerous for anyone to enter into a relationship with him where they have to trust him and rely on him because he WILL get sucked into whatever cult comes to town next. because their relationship always has existed on the edges of the rest of the storylines, i think we know more about how they broke up than how they were when they were together. i think if the inevitable dissolution of tangs leads fangs back here, though, more power to him! he will always have to live with the fact that kevin tried to fuck percival, though.

this got long, but, in sum, i do lean towards the choni/kangs status quo simply because i like what that relationship does for cheryl. i just wish they could show us one compelling reason beyond "fate" that it's good for toni, too, and then i would be 100% fully on board lol

Finally found the Perfect Video

This is Trek fans this season.

Without any joking, this pretty much sums up the emotions of the fans this year. It’s that personal, that awe struck, that emotional, that type of euphoria.

I’ve got over 35 year’s wrapped up in Star Trek, we’re talking the majority of my life. You have people who were there when the original show began with about 55 year’s or so as well. There is no other show in which I have that kind of investment.

So when you see my page overtaken by it, you have to understand being reminded of what it is to TRULY watch a show through the eye’s of a once 8 year old who stills sees this universe in wonder. To even still enjoy it as an adult. Then realize why I cannot find myself caring about another show that doesn’t treasure its SHORT history or its fans...that show makes me angry. I don’t want to be angry. I just want it done. 

I’m not sure I’m going to even bother watching a moment of this season. At this point I think I’m content to end on the one memory that produced an emotion more like the one above. The one with Tabitha and Jughead and their kids throughout a lifetime spent together. The only thing that has compelled me to even be tempted to watch one scene is Hot Dog but I don’t even wish to do that because afraid will be exposed to the current season’s narrative. I really would only want to see those clips in a vacuum with no reference to anything else to do with the season. 

And quite frankly...if I watched I feel there is the real chance RAS would ruin Jabitha for me as he did Bughead. Because I am NOT a Lili stan, or a Barchie, Varchie, Choni etc.... and endgame is NOT enough to make me happy. Events that happen in between do affect how I feel. I’m just not letting him do that to me twice in 7 year’s. So I’ll wait for the season to see and IF it isn’t destroyed per MY needs then maybe will go back and watch some clips. But right now I feel the entire season is just his way of trying to redo the mess that was the time jump but give the character’s outs to jump in and out of relationships because they remember nothing so we can’t hold them to account the way we did with season 5 on right? Except I very well can.... While also making a mockery of ‘50′s trends and historical events. The idea of BC being a key figure in a civil rights event still makes me sick. I don’t even really want to know what he has done since then because I’m sure it only got worse.

See? Even talking briefly of the show makes me angry so I’m going back to ignoring it for now.

Why do Choni/Cheryl stans INSTANTLY call people homophobic/lesphobic/racist for calling out their character flaws. Like I don't agree with Cheryl from that clip but it has NOTHING to do with her sexual identity. We can dislike your fave's choices without being homophobic and racist, Jesus fucking Christ, people.

Can Choni stans stop being so fucking toxic and salty about 'not getting enough Choni' in the episodes we haven't even watched yet????? Get a fucking grip, you guys. Calling the Riverdale creators homophobic is so unfair so just stop it, you're giving the fandom a bad rep. This also goes for e v e r y single fandom member who are bullying everyone on Riverdale or other people in the fandom.
