That Mexican OT Celebrates His 25th Bday with "Point Em Out" ft. DaBaby

With his gracefully rolled "r's" and Texas-sized charisma, That Mexican OT can go bar-for-bar with rap's best. Going toe-to-toe with another triplet titan on his new banger, OT shares "Point 'Em Out," his new collaboration with DaBaby. Applying his Southeast Texas drawl to the thumping minimalist beat, produced by SoCal hitmakers Bankroll Got It, OT sends a stern warning to anyone who would dare break his strictly enforced Omerta, his bars dripping with double-entendres and slick witticisms: "Leave him flat just like a torta, run with killers like an orca/No matter where it is, no matter where I'm at because to me no me importa." DaBaby steps in for the second verse, delivering a motormouthed manifesto of his own.

Directed by OT's regular shooter Dorian Green, also known as DGreen Filmz, the video for "Point 'Em Out" is a tribute to Pulp Fiction, with a plot, wardrobe, and even title font that echoes Quentin Tarantino's 1994 classic. OT and DaBaby portray Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, as they hunt a valuable briefcase and torment anyone in their way. 

"Point 'Em Out" is That Mexican OT's second new single of 2024, following the sinister "02.02.99," which is quickly becoming a breakthrough hit. Released in early January, the song has generated over 16 million streams across platforms. "02.02.99" is currently sitting at #74 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, after debuting at #88 the week before.

"Point 'Em Out" and "02.02.99" continue OT's hot streak, which started last summer and made him one of the most exciting breakthrough rap stars of 2023. He started his legendary run with "Johnny Dang" ft. Drodi & Paul Wall, which spent 12 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, earned GOLD status from the RIAA, and appeared on Lonestar Luchador, his acclaimed album. Acclaimed by Pitchfork (7.5), Lonestar Luchador came out last July, boasting highlights like the bi-lingual banger "Barrio" ft. MIXTAPE REVIEW: FRESHDUZIT

Freshduzit’s latest album, “Can’t Ignore It,” marks his fourth full project this year, showcasing his prolific output from Indianapolis. Notably, he dropped a chopped and not slopped compilation titled “For Platinum Playmakas and Platinum Playettes,” hosted by Texas legendary chopstars DJ Slim K and his own DJ coalition “OFFTHEWOP tunes” in July 2023.

Freshduzit's latest album, "Can't Ignore It," serves as a trap-fi audio movie, drawing inspiration from mixtape legends like Lil Wayne "The Drought 3." Collaborating with Detroit talents like Veeze, BabyTron, Wb Nutty, and Bandgang Lonnie, and featuring Zeus televised network Baddies East and West, Stunna Girl, and more, the album blends trap vibes with cinematic storytelling. We talk about the beginnings of the Swisha House, The Chopstars and how they have evolved over the years. We discuss how both of us started out driving the promo van for a radio station in Houston, and later get into Ron's new career as a filmmaker/actor.It was great to see The Chopstars all around #SXSW2023, they definitely held it down all over the city.
