*Qayra knocks on the door of the mung daal's catering, with Mung Daal opening the door for her and he even smiles at her*

Mung Daal: ooh, greetings, little lad! come on in, come on in!

Qayra: *she waves a tiny bit at Mung Daal* hello, chef Mung Daal! *she then enters inside the catering, with Mung Daal closing the door behind her*

*Chowder, Truffles, and Schnitzel were already inside and they looked at Qayra, and Chowder looked pretty excited and he then runs up to her and holds her hand a bit*

Chowder: hi there!! I'm Chowder!! what's your name?!

*Qayra was pretty suprised as Chowder was THAT excited for her, and Mung Daal just chuckles a tiny bit*

Mung Daal: oh, don't mind him, lad. He's just kind of excited when meeting new people.

Qayra: *she giggles a bit at what Mung Daal said* oh, don't worry, that's totally fine! I'm Qayra by the way.

Chowder: ooohhhh! cool name! *he grins a bit*

Truffles: meh, well, it's a nice name, sweetie. *she smiles a bit*

Schnitzel: *he nods a tiny bit at what Chowder said* rada rada! *translation: "I agree!"*

*Qayra then notices Schnitzel, and she slightly blushes a bit, and she smiles a tiny bit, as if she got kinda lovestrucked by him, but she even nods a bit at Chowder's, Truffles's and even Schnitzel's compliments*

Qayra: oh! ehehehe... well, thanks, you guys... especially thank you, Schnitzel...

*Schnitzel blushes a tiny bit and his eyes widen slightly as Qayra says that to him, but then he grins a very tiny bit and he scratches the back of his neck a bit*

Schnitzel: aah... rada rada, rada... *translation: "your welcome, Qayra..."*

*Qayra giggles a tiny bit, while Truffles was kinda smirking at Schnitzel a bit and she then decides to tease him a bit*

Truffles: ooohh! looks like the talking rock has a crush, doesn't he? hmm? *she gives Schnitzel a kinda smug-looking face, while he shoots a glare at her*

Schnitzel: rada rada... *translation: "don't you even start.."*

*Truffles continues snickering a bit while Qayra giggles a bit, with Mung Daal chuckling a bit, and Chowder kinda being confused by what is happening, but then he realizes and then grins a tiny bit as he giggles a bit aswell*

Ah hope ya will like this story, Qayra @sparklycandyalpaca, cause Ah know ya like my arts, my content, and ya even love Schnitzel from chowder and even Tuddrussel from time squad, so Ah made this short but cute story for ya ruuly dearly, and even since ya made some gifts for me aswell~ =^///w///^= 💜🩵🩶💚💜🩵🩶💚

John Johnson (Check, Please!) vs Mung Daal (Chowder)

John Johnson

Rarely seen in the comic itself, Johnson often talks directly to readers and fans via social media. Within the comic, he's mostly spoken about, or communicated with offscreen. The other characters think he's just really existential. Sometimes he makes decisions to move the plot forward, like giving the protagonist his room in the house at the end of his senior year. 

Mung Daal

The entire show is littered with 4th-wall-breaking jokes. His most famous one specifically is, "Look what you've done! Now the animators are gonna have to draw all this fire!" Another instance I like is, "No money means, no animation!" which leads to a segment of the cartoon featuring the actual voice actors.

At one point, because he spent all of the money his business had saved, they didn't have enough money for the animation. Thus, the voice actors (while still talking as the characters they voice) must put together a car wash to raise enough money to get the animation back.

Chowder doesn’t have a 4th wall in the first place, but shout outs to him managing to lose enough in universe money to that point the animation cuts out and the main character’s voice actors have raise money in a car wash to get the show back. Plus “Chowder! Look what you’ve done! Now the animators are going to have to draw all this fire!”
