My friends at @continuous.precision sent me a set of their RDS-compatible sights to check out. I'm immediately hopeful, as they feature anti-glare serrations and a set screw for the rear sight right oit of the box; two features that I really appreciate in sight sets. I recently attended the @centrifugetraining RDS Instructor class, taught by @danno1812 . That 2 day class was my first appreciable time behind a red dot pistol system, and I was definitely on the struggle bus for my time there. I'll talk about that more in my AAR. I have a lot of mechanical flaws and cheats, and the red dot definitely showed I have a lazy neutral grip and inconsistent presentation. Upon Dan's recommendation, I just bought a @mantis_tech X10 to properly diagnose exactly what's going on with me. Hmmm. Data. Weird. Butter toffee. My specialty. Well...technically my Ma's specialty. Upon leaving the nest, she gave each of my siblings and me a hand-typed cookbook called "Mom, how do you make..." which was a recipe book of all of our favorite dishes she made us when we were kids. Baby Fiveoh and I make this every Christmas, it's super easy and delicious and is my gift to you. 1 cup butter (melt) 1 1/3 cup sugar 1 Tablespoon corn syrup 3 Tablespoons water 1 cup crushed almonds 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (melted) Combine melted butter, sugar, corn syrup, and water, heat and stir to 300° (hard crack). Immediately pour onto cookie sheet and let harden. Melt chocolate chips and spread evenly. Sprinkle crushed almonds amd let cool. CAREFULLY free toffee from cookie sheet, flip, and repeat. Once completely hardened, break into chunks with a spoon, place into baggies, amd share with your loved ones.
