So, last night I left this drawing thinking something was definitely wrong with it, to me it had some issues! I had really good hopes of doing this in all white in my head! Anyways, my Father said to me why don’t you add some color on the bridge, trees or stone? Well that constructive criticism made all the difference! I could not pin point why I did not like how it was turning out in white because I had my mind set that I wanted to do this in all white... not even thinking about any color! Thanks, Dad!! I hit the 4 hr mark. I am about to hit the hardest part to draw soon! I am still figuring how to draw it! I am estimating this drawing to take me around 10-12 hrs. Ugh! WIP, 11” x 14” White Colored Pencil on Black Paper. It is the Leveque Tower in downtown Columbus, OH. I thought I’d have to use a ruler for straight building lines, but I have never used a ruler on any of my drawings and I don’t want to get marks in the paper or smear it from the ruler. Sooooo, I just drew one line down the paper to be my guide, as I am going to freehand this building! Wish me luck! .
