Hello, I was just curious what brushes you used in those last 2 photo studies to get that pastel look. They’re both gorgeous!
These three here are what i used the most:
Tumblr media
TGTS is from true grit texture supply's chromagraph brush pack. its a little pricey but i use most of the brushes constantly (i did most of my work for my undergrad project in the carpenter actually). the charcoal block is a default procreate brush i edited to be more dense so i could use it for highlights.
the texture render brush is actually what did most of the heavy lifting, but i have no clue where i found it—probably some random brush pack on artstation...? i'll try to track down the original when i can. it's just a nice airbrush-y noisy texture that's nice for soft painting

hiya! i'm rosie (he/him) and this is my little art archive blog. i probably won't yammer on much here, but my ask box and dms are always open :]
i am a traditional and digital artist, and most of my stuff will be PG-13 with profanity. i do take requests, but i might be slow with them, and i'm not open for commissions. if you'd like to support me, you can do so at my ko-fi here!
the brush pack i use for digital art is the chromagraph brush pack by true grit texture supply, along with the default photoshop brushes.
i am a college student studying for a major and minor in STEM. i love card games, and i've been a major fan of yu-gi-oh since probably 2014! i also really like hyenas,,,
i mainly post codename: kids next door and yu-gi-oh, along with other random fandoms! i'm not a very consistent artist, but i try to post when i do draw. i also like blue period, mob psycho 100, and awful hospital.
my art tag is #crarnival art!
this post will be updated if anything needs to be added :]

A couple of people have asked me about what brushes I use so I'm just going to post it here as well. Nearly everything I use if from True Grit Texture Supply. Most of my brushes are from these two packs:
Which are both great and I can't recommend enough. I do 90% of my drawing in clip studio, with final effects/color in photoshop. I own nearly all of their products for both PS and CSP; while they are pretty similar, both programs do have very different brush engines and the clip brushes feel a bit limited to me. Most of them are also available for procreate and affinity, but I have no experience there.
I also use the "infinite pulp" and "atomica" kits in photoshop for effects, and use "distress press" and "beat tones" a lot when I'm making designs for work.
