phainon is no stranger to being a gentleman. whenever the two of you are spending time with one another, he would always be the one to treat you whether it was to lunch or even shopping in the local market. you'll always find his hand pressed to the small of your back but while weaving through crowds, he's got his arm wrapped around your shoulder in order not to lose you in the mass of people. this man is willing to give you the royalty treatment simply because you deserve it. when phainon finds himself deep in his thoughts, you will always be lingering at the back of his mind, and he unconsciously smiles at the mere thought of you.
despite her heart that had long been frozen, aglaea does not fail in the romance department. if you find yourself in the heroes' bath, she will tend to whatever needs you may have and even accompany you during your stay. if she happens to find the time, she will use it wisely and sew a brand new garment just for you. she has already wrapped it up and will hold onto it until she sees you again. the warmth you give by simply being by her side is so unfamiliar yet it is enough to begin thawing her frosted heart.
for the crown prince of castrum kremnos, mydei isn't exactly known for having a kind nature. regardless of his intimidating appearance, it's quite obvious that the prince has grown to have a soft spot for you. if there is someone causing you trouble, mydei will appear by your side and he's already scared the person off with merely one sentence. sometimes the two of you would engage in playful banter, countering the other’s teasing remark with another. mydei will never succumb to fatigue in the midst of battle for he always reminds himself that you are waiting for him on the other side.
being the first chrysos heir to obtain a titan's coreflame and ascend to that of a demi-god, tribbie finds themselves to be somewhat of a mentor figure towards the others. if they ever find out that you're not feeling well, they will make sure to remind you to always take care of yourself. they are always happy to educate you about various topics as they take joy in being able to talk for hours and having someone listening to them intently. it is only natural for the teacher to worry about their student’s well being, how else will they be able to continue guiding you if you’re not in a stable condition to be guided?
she may have no experience whatsoever about romance but that doesn't mean castorice refuses to try and learn. she takes interest in the things that bring you joy and will remember the smallest and most random things about yourself. although her power restricts herself from making any physical contact with you, castorice makes sure to keep you safe and free from harm's way. each passing moment that she spends with you, castorice cherishes each and every one all the same. the servant of death is no stranger to the inevitable fate that awaits you but she cannot even bring herself to think about that when you were so intertwined in the present.
a genius and a charmer basically sums up the kind of person that anaxa is. he is always amused to see you fascinated whenever he displays the unique magic that he holds. similar to tribbie, he is fond of teaching you things without making you feel dumb. he dislikes whenever you downplay your intelligence and assures you that you're talented and intellectually capable in your own way. anaxa is a firm believer that every little part of your being is fascinating, it makes him inclined to continue finding out more about who you are.
hyacine always finds herself pleased to see how well you respond to her affection. although a little shy at first, she is willing to try different things with you. after a tiring day, hyacine simply wants to lay down on a sturdy branch of a big tree with you beside her, watching the birds soar through the sky while the suns fall and stars rise. the priest does not know what future lies in store but what she does know is that one day, when you two have passed on, you will take to the skies beside one another and soar to the stars.. just like the birds the two of you have watched do all the time.
just like how she has a talent for swiping people's valuables, cipher sure has a talent for stealing your heart. seeing as you're already aware of her skill of sleight, you find yourself wondering which poor citizen she swiped whenever you receive a gift from her. although a thief should never linger too long around their target, cipher cannot refuse any request of physical touch from you. you don’t expect much out of the aftermath of a bad day, at least not until a certain thief shows up at your doorstep and greets you with a flower or two that had been swiped from one of the largest flower fields that amphoreus has to offer.
note: written before version 3.1 therefore some if not most characters are ooc. tribbie’s scenario is purely platonic, otherwise the rest of them can be intepreted as romantic or platonic.

★彡 HOT MESS!

synopsis: i just wanted to share what i think the amphoreus characters’ favourite positions are. this is that!! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪
contains: phainon (breeding and marathon), mydei (just sof n sweet), aglaea (clothed i feel like this doesn’t count), castorice (voyeurism), anaxa (degradation), cipher (scissoring) and, fem/afab reader in all.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ PHAINON - MATING PRESS
the skin between you both is wet and hot, thick with deep sighs and pitched moans leaking from mouths not separated for long. phainon is often insatiable when he finally gets to have you as he tends to torture himself through feelings of guilt and undeserving and it takes some time to soften him up occasionally. but now? your legs are cramped harder than ever before but gods it feels good. he’s deep and thick and keeps pressing himself into you in a way that, despite the protection, feels so unbelievably raw. everything he does tends to have that feeling, though, his nature itself being honest and true. his face falls to your neck as he grips your calves a little tighter and you can feel the way his thrusts grow shallower and sloppier with each second until he’s tight like a bowstring spilling himself over. phainon is groaning with each open mouth kissed he plants messily on your neck, drool sliding down to the sheets as he gyrates his hips against you, using his pelvis to pull your own climax out.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ MYDEI - MISSIONARY
loose lips sink ships but you’d be lying if you said you hadn’t let out a couple insider secrets about your bedroom life before. people assume mydeimos to be a brute in and out of bed but it’s best they know that’s not really the truth. in the reality you so luckily get to live in, mydei is most flustered and finishes the fastest when you’re face to face with legs loosely spread to accommodate his form. he’s a gentleman, truthfully, longing to treat you so perfectly not even a titan could find a flaw in his behaviour. calloused fingertips touch you everywhere you need and his voice is soft as he bites back groans in favour of listening to you and mumbling praises so sweet you fear your teeth may fall out. you often catch his eyebrow twitch in the way it does whenever he’s close within seconds of him sliding to the hilt each time you’re like this. each time he staves off the feeling to get you there first, there’s probably a dozen or more words for ‘devotion’ in the Kremnoan language and mydei proves it consistently.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ AGLAEA - CLOTHED
she’s a classy lady with perhaps not so classy tastes. aglaea loves getting to style and dress you up, and as her dutiful lover, you’d never deny her such. she takes great pleasure in designing things exclusively for you, tops, gowns, lingerie, and more, and takes just as much pleasure in you fall apart still adorned in them. it’s almost like a form of marking, her threads noting every little movement you make still wearing her most recent creation as her hands and mouth dance across your skin. aglaea is sadistic in a way, teasing you through layers of chiffon and silk, adoring how you soak the garments and beg for more. she often finds herself never needed for the favour returned as feeling you writhe and come undone by her ministrations in her designs is more than enough to satisfy that itch.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ CASTORICE - MUTUAL
sweet and quiet is how most people would describe your loving girlfriend, castorice. and you share the sentiment save for whenever you’re across from each other working your own bodies. it’s really a shame she cannot touch you and vice versa but you cope knowing just looking at you is enough for her. castorice adores seeing you use your fingers to spread your folds apart, wet and shiny just for her eyes, and is jealous of the hands, yours, that get to fondle your chest. regardless, she can’t help but be loud whenever she’s blessed with the sight of you coming undone before her eyes. her moans and whimpers crackle through her laboured breaths yet it’s the most divine noise you think this world will ever hear.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ANAXAGORAS - COWGIRL
the scholar himself often bemoans the ideal of ‘desires of the flesh’ as it ‘does nothing but divide my attention’ and ‘serves no purpose to my work’ but you know him better than he does himself sometimes. anaxagoras was ultimately a man and had certain needs, ones you were eager to fulfill, so despite any faux protest you’d save him from his own suffering and slide onto him yourself. all complaints would go out the window as soon as you’d slide yourself against him, anaxa knowing better than to truly deny such pleasures. his touch was always greedy, hands playing you like a fiddle from his comfortable spot below you, traversing your flesh with only the slightest tremor. he can never stop running his mouth though, and there’s something painfully attractive in hearing him speak between grunts about how filthy your desperation is. you happen to be blessed with the reality of knowing he loves it all just as much.

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ CIPHER - SCISSORING
for all her scheming and tricks, cifera had always been very pleased with the classics between the sheets. there really is nothing better to her than getting to experience and share such pleasures with you, heat tight against your own. she’s teasing when grinding slow and soft, pushing your hands away when you try and urge for more, and borderline manic when going fast and long. cipher rolls her hips into yours harshly with the perfect amount of pressure not to hurt but to press just right against the both of you. she laughs and teases with every movement as if her own mind isn’t crumbling away at the feeling, slick meshing together and soaking the sheets below. she admires, worships, the sight of your juices spread along her own folds and grinds with renewed vigour in knowledge you’ll spill forth more just for her.

Chrysos Heirs w/ clumsy reader !
Content: GN!Reader, fluff, mentions of light injuries + sprains, yandere behavior on Anaxa's part (?)
🌹 Note: Shout out to the mfs that get cuts and bruises just by standing still. Me too.
INTRO
The Sky Titan must absolutely despise you for you to trip over air as often as you do.. How you haven't gotten a broken bone is baffling, and yet here you are. For all of your clumsiness, you do manage to get out of almost any situation with only minor scrapes and bruises (most of the time). You're not allowed outside of Okhema for any reason, though, not even to help bring in refugees. The last time you were allowed outside the city, you sprained your ankle so badly that you were bedridden for about a month.. But do not fret!!! There are still plenty of ways to entertain (injure) yourself in the holy city, much to your partner's distress.
– Dear, if you keep falling over your own feet every 20 minutes, she's going to think you like when she catches you in her golden thread
Aglaea
– ^ (You do. She knows you do, so you can't deny it when she teases you for it, yes?)
– If you somehow sprain any of your limbs, she WILL pamper you for the entire time you're injured. This is probably one of the ONLY times she’ll baby you when you're hurt, so try to take advantage of it as much as you can
– One of the few who isn't overly concerned with your penchant for getting injured simply by existing
– Unless you are quite literally impaled by a spear, Aglaea assumes that you can handle yourself and she won't fuss over you too much
– She does get a bit antsy if you end up getting an open wound, though
– You're much too precious to bleed, Dear. What happened? Does she need to kill someone to avenge you?
– ^ She says she's only joking if you get worried/upset. (She is not joking)
– Aglaea may tease you often about your clumsiness, but that's only because she thinks it's endearing
Phainon
– “Who did this? Are you okay? What happened? Who do I need to fight?–”
– He'd try to fight the air if you asked him to. Phai will do anything to defend your honor!! Anything.
– He worries about how often you fall over and drop things– Anytime you're carrying a heavy object, he about has a heart attack before quickly taking it away from you
– “Your hero’s got it covered. Just tell me where I need to put this!”
– Whenever you get a sprain, he'll insist on carrying you everywhere that you want to go for as long as you're healing up
– Doesn't matter if you're bigger than him or not. Phai can lift you with ease and is eager to show off how dependable he can be!!!
– He genuinely spoils you so much when you're hurt. It is as sweet as it is silly
– Please remind him that it's just a sprain or else he'll keep treating you like you're dying 😭
– After you're healed up, he usually spends at least the next few days kissing any and all scars/bruises left behind from your injuries
– It's almost like he's apologizing for not being there to prevent them in the first place 🩵
– ^ (In a way, he is. Even if he has nothing to apologize for, Phai will always feel guilty for not protecting you from yourself)
Castorice
– Ohh you cause her so much stress, she thinks she might have a heart attack one of these days
– Cas genuinely doesn't know what to do!!! She can't just tell you to sit still and do nothing, she's tried that!
– ^ (Somehow, you ended up falling off of your chaise lounge and spraining your elbow..)
– Her only other solution is to spend as much time with you as possible, making sure you don't fall down a flight of stairs or get stomped on by a Dromas D:
– You've got an overprotective angel of death hovering around you nearly 24/7.. It's almost comical, but also a bit unsettling!
– If there's one thing she hates the most, though, it's that she can't patch you up on her own
– Seeing you injured tugs at her heartstrings so much, but all she can do is put a first aid kit in front of you or go find someone else to help you
– You also hate not being able to touch her, but you always reassure Cas that her just being beside you is more than enough
– It may take her a while until she's able to believe you (if ever she does), but she likes hearing it nonetheless because she knows you're being sincere when you say it <3
Mydeimos
– (Affectionately) calls you an idiot whenever you fall or drop things in front of him
– He doesn't usually help you when you stumble because he knows you'll be fine on your own, and he doesn't want to treat you like a child
– That being said… If you've fallen one too many times that day, Mydei will simply pick you up bridal style (all the while grumbling complaints) so that he can carry you around wherever you need/want to go
– He says it's because you're slowing him down, but in reality, it's because he caught a glimpse of the scars and bruises on your legs from previous accidents
– Mydei will never admit this to anyone, especially not to you, but seeing bruises on your skin hurts him more than any physical blow ever could
– He is once again reminded of how fragile the average person is. he is reminded of how fragile you are in particular
– ^ (Just another reason to break this damned curse. What's the point of being indestructible if you're not allowed to share in this “blessing” with him?)
– Mydei can't keep you safe from everything, least of all from your own gracelessness, but he can be there to patch you up and (reluctantly) wait on you hand and foot until you feel better
Anaxagoras
– Oh, you must be studied; he just can't believe you're naturally this clumsy. Are you sure you haven't been cursed?
– Anaxa finds your inelegance as adorable as he does irritating; it's quite a confusing mix of emotions for him
– You are very precious, truly! But if you fall on the way down the steps of your own home one more time, Anaxa will have to resort to drastic measures to keep you from harm
– ^ (“Drastic measures” being forbidding you from using any stairs by yourself, and keeping you by his side for the rest of your life)
– Overkill? Not at all. Maybe. But he loves you, so he'll never admit that he's being overprotective
– You trust him, don't you? So you'll let him do what's best for you without any complaints, right?
– You're simply too much of an airhead to keep yourself safe and uninjured… Those bruises and scars on your legs are proof of that, wouldn't you agree?
– Anaxa knows what's best, of course he does. If you can't trust in yourself, then just trust in him
– He won't outright force you to go along with what he wants, but he will try to “subtly” encourage you to stay indoors. Or even better, move in with him!! Just so that he can take care of you more efficiently, of course :)
Cipher
– You are very cute. Extremely cute, really.. But if she keeps having to run to your rescue (for free!), she will get a perpetual migraine
– It also ruins her image of being independent and selfish when she’s clearly always close enough to hear you stumble or drop something
– Cipher can not be tied down! She is untamed!!! She waits for NO ONE! … Unless it's you, and you're injured. Then she’ll wait for a minute or two
– She does steal things from you as well, but she always says she's only taking them away because they pose a danger to you
– “Oh? Your brush? The handle was real high-quality wood, uh-huh… It was way too heavy for the likes of you, though, so I decided to take it off your hands and sell it! Ah, but don't worry; I'll find an even better one for you, okay?”
– Cipher worries a lot about leaving you alone for too long without supervision (you didn't hear that from me, though)
– You're so unsteady on your feet that she doubts you could survive a day without her
– She may or may not pay Aglaea to check in on you from time to time
– Such a shame you'll never have proof of this :3 can't tease her about it if it's not definitively true!

The cat chooses you
Cipher x Reader
The bell above the door jingled softly as you stepped into the quaint pet shop nestled between a book café and a fortune-teller's booth. Rows of aquariums bubbled to your left, cages of chirping birds to your right. But you? You were here for something simple. A calm, docile rabbit, maybe. One that wouldn’t turn your apartment into a battlefield.
You knelt near the display, admiring a sleepy-looking bunny curled in a corner. Perfect, you thought.
That’s when chaos struck - in the form of a blur of fur and a suspiciously graceful backflip off a nearby shelf.
Thud.
A cat landed beside you.
You blinked. "Uh… you're not in this section."
The cat sat primly, lifted a paw, and smugly knocked over a "Discount Treats!" sign. Her gaze screamed ‘You’re welcome.’
You glanced around. No one seemed to notice.
“Pretty sure you’re not supposed to be out of your pen.”
With a yawn that bordered on sarcastic, the cat leapt onto the bunny’s enclosure, effectively blocking your view. Then, she winked—yes, actually winked—and turned in a slow circle, showing off the subtle shimmer in her fur like some kind of feline supermodel.
That was your first clue something was up.
The second came when she “accidentally” pawed open a nearby cage, freeing a parakeet, and then, without missing a beat, closed it again. The bird flew wildly, feathers and shrieks everywhere. She just sat there, licking a paw like this was all part of the plan.
“Okay” you said slowly. “You're either terrifyingly smart…. or someone in disguise.”
The cat then leapt into your arms, curled up, and rubbed her head against your chin.
“…Right.. If this is what you want..”
You signed the adoption papers with a skeptical side-eye at the purring feline in your arms. The shopkeeper didn’t question why the cat had no paperwork or microchip. They just laughed and said, “Guess she chose you, huh?”
Yeah. Chose you, all right.
At first, she was the perfect pet- silent, sleek, occasionally affectionate. She liked your couch too much and had a thing for knocking your pens off the desk, but fine. Cats were weird.
Then… the collecting began. At first, you didn’t notice. A missing sock. A mysteriously vanished spoon. You blamed yourself. Sleep deprivation, maybe. After all, you worked too many late shifts.
But one afternoon, while looking for your phone charger, you followed the faintest rustle behind the couch and discovered her stash.
Piled with obsession, tucked in a hollow behind the furniture:
Two lighters (you didn’t smoke)
Three coins from a currency you swore didn’t exist
Your ID badge
A wind-up music box
A screwdriver
A single chocolate truffle
A gleaming, obviously expensive brooch you’d never seen before
“What the hell, Cipher?”
She trotted in right on cue, tail high, eyes too smug. When she saw you crouched over the stash, she stopped.
“Don’t play innocent!”
She meowed innocently.
“No. This is stealing. And trash-hoarding. And possibly breaking and entering, depending on where this—” You held up the brooch. “—came from.”
She gave a half-purr, half-chuff and sat on the pile as if to say my treasure now.
“No. This is illegal. You can’t just sneak around collecting random junk and—wait. Is this my watch?”
She stretched like she hadn’t heard you and began grooming her paw.
You groaned. “Cipher, you can’t bring home weird shiny trash like a kleptomaniac dragon. I mean it. No more stealing. If you're gonna be a cat, be a normal cat!”
She rolled onto her back, gave you a lazy blink, and flicked her tail.
“You're totally ignoring me.”
You glared. She purred louder.
Later that night, the stash was mysteriously gone.
In its place was a single silver spoon.
With a note beside it.
“Not trash. Strategic assets. – C”
You sighed, dramatically. Wait, how can she write this note?
You had officially crossed the line from “mildly concerned pet owner” to full-blown panic parent.
Cipher had vanished.
You scoured the apartment, the roof, the alley behind the building. You even asked Mrs. Lian from across the hall if she’d seen a cat with a name tag - Cipher.
You went back inside and flopped onto the couch with a groan. “This is what I get for adopting a cat who was definitely once a person. Or a spy. Or a tech-sorceress from another dimension.”
At exactly 2:47 a.m., the window creaked open.
Cipher landed silently on the windowsill, like she hadn't just disappeared for over 18 hours.
Her fur shimmered faintly under the moonlight. Her tail curled with amusement.
You stared at her.
“...You can't just leave all day and act like it’s normal!”
She padded over, headbutted your chin, and hopped onto your lap.
You scowled but didn’t push her off. You were too tired. And maybe... a little relieved.
“Don’t think I’m letting this slide.”
She purred.
The next morning, you called in backup.
Your best friend, Mina, arrived ten minutes later, holding a laser pointer like a holy artifact.
“You’ve gone feral” she said, stepping over Cipher, who was sprawled on the floor like royalty.
“She disappears. She steals. She ignores me. I need help.”
Mina looked down at Cipher.
Cipher looked back with all the contempt of an empress staring at peasantry.
“…Okay” Mina said. “We’ll start with boundary training.”
Cipher blinked once. Then, as Mina lowered the treat pouch, she bit it open, took the treats, and calmly walked away.
Mina stared after her, deadpan. “So she’s the boss.”
“Yup.”
“She understands human speech.”
“Yup.”
“And she knows exactly what she’s doing.”
“She’s doing tax fraud, Mina. Probably.”
You tried everything.
Toy puzzles? Cipher solved them in under ten seconds, then hid the final treat so you couldn’t find it.
Laser pointer games? She chased it for two seconds, then stared at you like you were the entertainment.
Command training? Cipher just rolled over and pretended to die dramatically every time you said “Sit.”
“She’s training you.” Mina concluded.
“Don’t remind me.”
Cipher, now perched on top of the fridge like a smug gargoyle, let out a soft trill and tossed down one of Mina’s hair ties like a royal favor.
“Yeah,” you muttered. “I give up.”
Cipher purred loudly, like she’d just won a bet with the universe.
----
Something had shifted.
Cipher started staying home more. Sleeping curled at your feet instead of on the fridge. Watching you work with eyes half-lidded but attentive. One time, when you came home soaked from the rain, she trotted over with a towel—dragged from the bathroom, corners chewed, but still.
You didn’t say anything. You figured if you pointed it out, she’d revert out of sheer pride.
But she was warming up to you. In her own stubborn, quiet way.
You even caught her once, in her half-dozing cat form, resting a paw over your hand.
The break-in came on a Tuesday.
Your apartment window shattered. No sound, just a glint of steel and a figure dropping into the room like a ghost.
You barely had time to react. Cipher, sleeping by your feet, snapped upright mid-purr.
“Is this why you started to act nicely?” You stared at Cipher.
The man—hooded, masked—ignored you. His eyes locked on Cipher. “You shouldn’t exist.”
Cipher didn’t meow.
A ripple of gold ignited along her spine, a mirage of fire dancing on her fur. For a breath, she was more than a cat: her body stretched, warped, limbs lengthening into something almost human.
“What the hell—?”
The assassin attacked.
You grabbed the nearest thing - Cipher’s treasured broom handle -and swung.
It cracked against the man’s head with a dull thunk.
He dropped like a puppet with its strings cut.
Later, after you tied the guy up and called Mina to deal with "a minor life-threatening situation". She screamed showed up in 12 minutes flat with pepper spray and holy water.
Cipher shifted again. Not fully human, not fully cat, something in between.
“…You’re not just a weird cat” you said.
She crossed her arms. “I never claimed to be just anything.”
“Want to explain the ninja guy?”
Cipher’s face darkened. “They want what’s left of the Inferna Flame. A relic of my people. With it, I could restore what I lost. Family.”
“And they want to stop you.”
“You believe me?”
You shrugged. “I took in a talking cat who steals spoons. This barely cracks the top five.”
Cipher laughed. “Seems like I've got myself a good owner.”
As you examined the assassin’s gear, your eyes caught on his brooch.
You turned it over. Inside was a faintly glowing crystal and coordinates etched in a language you didn’t understand, but Cipher did.
Her face sharpened. “It’s one of the old strongholds. Abandoned—supposedly. If they’ve reoccupied it...”
“Then we hit them first.”
“This isn’t your fight.”
You looked back. “You moved in, ate my snacks, took over my life. That makes it my fight.”
Cipher stared for a long second… then nodded.
“Okay what's the pla-”
You were mid-sentence, standing in your apartment with Cipher when she reached out and touched your arm.
And then the world lurched.
You blinked—and the city was gone.
A wind-whipped expanse stretched around you, rimmed with dying trees and rustling yellowed grass. The horizon dipped into an unnatural fog.
“What the—?!” You stumbled back. “We teleported?!”
Cipher stood calmly, arms folded, hair fluttering faintly in the breeze. “Told you. You weren’t ready.”
“No, you didn’t! You said nothing about instant relocation! I didn’t even bring snacks!”
She smirked. “You’ll live.”
The coordinates etched into the assassin’s brooch had led here, but “here” looked like an empty, abandoned patch of land. No buildings. Just wind and dirt and shadows of old trees.
Cipher crouched, scanning the ground.
You followed suit, brushing through brittle grass, checking hollowed tree trunks. Nothing but rot and old bugs.
“…Great. We’ve been bamboozled.” you muttered. “This is the part where the killer shows up behind us and I die first, isn’t it?”
Cipher didn’t laugh. She was staring at her tail.
At first you thought she was annoyed, but then you saw it.
A faint glow. Golden-red. And it pulsed brighter when she turned to the north.
“Wait,” you said, narrowing your eyes. “Is it reacting to something?”
“The Flame responds to remnants of power.”
You followed the pulsing glow. Closer… closer…
Cipher’s tail flicked sharply as you reached a stretch of cracked stone half-buried in the dirt. Her glow intensified.
You dropped to your knees and brushed away loose soil.
A seam.
You pressed your fingers to it, felt the subtle shift in texture. Cipher knelt beside you and laid a palm over the spot. Her Flame flared and a click echoed beneath you.
The stone split open with a hiss, revealing a narrow, spiral staircase descending into shadow.
“Oh great,” you said dryly. “Underground lair. Because that always ends well.”
Cipher grinned. “You scared?”
You glanced at her glowing tail, then down into the dark.
“…Only of what you’re not telling me.”
She took the first step down without hesitation, flame coiling at her fingertips.
You followed close behind, heart pounding.
Not just because of what you might find, but because, deep down, you had a feeling Cipher wasn’t just leading you into danger.
She was leading you into her past.
And whatever was buried down there?
It was ready to burn its way back into the world.
The stairwell led to something vast, an underground district, hidden beneath the ruined landscape like a forgotten vein of civilization. As Cipher’s Flame pulsed through the stone, old mechanisms flickered to life, casting long, warm shadows across buildings half-sunk into the earth.
It wasn’t just ruins. It was a city.
Cipher’s footsteps slowed.
People emerged like ghosts from the cracks of the city. Hollow-eyed, glowing faintly with that same unnatural fire. Murmurs coiled around you: “Cifera?” “Is it really her?” “After all this time?”
She stood still, staring at them like something ancient stirred behind her calm.
You eyed them warily.
Their grins didn’t fade, just hung there, waxen and stiff. Their gestures lagged, a half-beat out of sync with reality, as if they’d studied human motion from a distance. A sharp-eyed woman kept stealing glances at you, lips moving in hushed collusion with the others. Finally, she flicked her fingers in a dismissive jerk—like scattering crows.
You frowned. “Cipher… They’re not exactly rolling out the welcome mats.”
“They’re just surprised,” Cipher muttered. “They weren’t expecting the Flame to return. It’s been a long time.”
“And you?” You gestured at the glowing strangers. “No ‘holy hells, my lost tribe’s alive’?”
Cipher’s voice was flat. “I don’t remember much about them.”
“…You don’t remember your own people?”
She shrugged, distracted. “The longer you wear a cat’s skin, the more it burns away.”
The dismissiveness in her tone worried you, but you followed anyway.
Led through curved streets and glowing corridors, the two of you arrived at the heart of the underground city. A circular platform, ringed with ancient symbols and old tech fused with flame-born runes.
Cipher approached the pedestal in the center and placed her hand on it. The Flame left her body like a whisper of wind and flowed into the core.
Everything shuddered.
The lights dimmed.
Then the ground roared.
From the shadows, a man emerged, draped in regal black His voice was like broken glass. “Foolish girl. You were supposed to stay gone.”
Cipher froze. Her pupils narrowed.
“I knew you’d return to your roots eventually.” the man snarled. “The Flame was never yours to keep.”
He raised his hand, blades of blackened fire shot toward you.
One pierced through your side. You were on your knees before you registered being hit. You collapsed, coughing blood.
“No—”
Cipher's reaction was instantaneous.
Light detonated from her body. The attacker had half a second to widen his eyes before she crossed the distance. The moment Cipher's light struck him, his body should have vaporized. Instead, he staggered back - still standing.
“I can still-”
His outstretched fingers blackened first, skin curling like burning paper. The golden fire clung to him, eating inward. He took one jerking step forward, then collapsed to his knees.
“It's not... supposed to...” Bloody froth spilled from his lips as his tendons snapped like overstretched wires. His left eye burst in its socket, but his right remained fixed hungrily on the fading Flame.
With his last breath, he whispered: “Just... a little more...”
Then his jaw unhinged, his skull caving inward like a rotten fruit. What remained of his form sloughed into a steaming puddle, bones dissolving last. The flames licked over the remains - then winked out.
Only his shadow remained, burned permanently into the stones. The outline of his outstretched hand just inches from where the Flame had flickered.
Cipher didn't look back as she carried you away. She didn't need to.
The city began to collapse entirely. Spirits screaming. Walls cracking.
You woke up days later.
In hospital with beeping machines and a blanket pulled up to your chest.
Your side ached, wrapped in bandages, but you were alive.
And sitting in a chair by your bed, half-asleep with an empty snack bag in her lap, was Cipher.
Head resting on the edge of your bed. Tail twitching softly in her sleep.
You shifted slightly.
She jerked awake. “You’re up.”
“…Barely.”
“I almost burned down the emergency room when I brought you in.”
You snorted, then groaned at the pain. “Sounds about right.”
She looked away. “I didn’t mean for you to get hurt.”
You glanced over at the side table—water, peeled apples, your phone… and, weirdly, your favorite hoodie folded up with care.
You cracked a weak smile. “Guess I trained you after all.”
Cipher didn’t laugh. But her tail curled tighter.
You picked up your phone and started scrolling—needed distraction from the ache in your ribs.
Then the headline hit you like ice.
“Lost City Spirits Spotted?” “Multiple sightings underground linked to ancient cataclysm.” “Experts confirm: The people recorded below were all confirmed deceased—over a century ago.”
Your thumb stopped scrolling.
“They were spirits,” you said slowly. “That’s why they kept trying to shoo us away. They tried to warn us.”
“I knew something was wrong. But I didn’t want to remember.”
“They were trying to protect you. And we couldn’t see it until it was too late.”
Cipher nodded. “They’re gone now. For real this time.”
You reached out, grasped her hand.
“You’re not alone.”
Her eyes widened, just slightly.
The morning after the hospital released you, Cipher let herself into your apartment with your keys, tossed her jacket on your kitchen counter, and proceeded to eat your cereal straight from the box.
You squinted at her from the couch, still wrapped in a blanket. “So… you gonna turn back into a cat now or…?”
A sharp clink cut the air.
Something small and round smacked you right on the forehead.
“Ow—what the hell?” You rubbed the spot and stared down.
It was a gold coin.
Real gold. Not chocolate.
You looked up just in time to see her smirking, arms folded. “Try that joke again and I’ll upgrade to hurling solid bars.”
“…Where did you get this?”
Cipher flopped into the armchair like a queen lounging in her throne. “Back in the underground city. While you were gawking at ghosts, I did a little multitasking.”
“You looted a haunted grave site?!”
“Inherited, thank you. It was literally mine. And I have claws. Makes lockpicking and secret compartment-snatching very efficient.”
You gaped. “How fast did you go through all that rubble?!”
She gave you a smug shrug.
You tossed the coin back at her. She caught it midair with zero effort and flicked it into her pocket like it was muscle memory.
“Anyway,” you muttered, shifting under your blanket burrito. “Guess you’ve got treasure now. Probably your own secret kingdom. Cat empire. Fancy couch somewhere in a flame palace.”
Cipher raised a brow. “You trying to get rid of me?”
You hesitated.
“…No.”
She tilted her head. “That sounded almost like a plea.”
“I did not plead.”
“Uh-huh.”
You sighed, exasperated. “Okay, fine—please stay and take care of me. I almost died. I’m injured. I can’t cook. You already broke into my apartment four times and now it’s weirdly empty without you judging my snack drawer.”
She stared.
Then slowly got up, crossed the room, and plopped onto the couch beside you.
Her tail looped itself comfortably around your ankle.
“You’re lucky I’m a benevolent cryptid,” she said casually. “Also, I already live here. My toothbrush is in your cup. Deal with it.”
You didn’t argue.
Because, weirdly… that sounded kinda nice.

they speak in stardust and glances, all golden silence and too-long stares. something ancient stirs beneath your skin. what are you to them—mortal or myth?
ⓘ 3.1k wc 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔 no gender specified, mutual pining, semi-character studies, high school! au, mydei ft. phainon, subtle/non-existent spoilers, anxious!reader in cipher’s ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Did you find yourself entranced by Aglaea, the student council president? The one appearing bathed in gold, with a beauty that could rival even the divine themselves . . . you wouldn’t be the first. Aglaea was a prized jewel among her peers, always composed and in command—the kind of leader only spoken of in fairy tales. But behind that golden grace was someone who watched the world with quiet longing—someone who glanced your way a little too often, who lingered by the window just a little too long. Perhaps the goddess on the pedestal was more human than she let on. And perhaps she was waiting for someone to see that.
Those who adored her only ever sought her approval, through rose-tinted glasses and overly enthusiastic compliments. She waved them off with practiced poise, drowning in admiration, in gifts and applause wherever she went. Today was no different—Aglaea was, as always, a sight for sore eyes. But you didn’t bring her flowers. You didn’t stumble over your words, or ask for her attention like a wish. You just saw her—and in that rare moment, Aglaea didn’t feel like a goddess adored. She felt like a girl, standing under the weight of gold she never asked for.
(The weight that often felt too much for her to bear, the slender fingers of those who expected the best performance crawling up her spine—shoving her forward.)
She was built like a monument—polished, proud, and impossibly untouchable. People expected her to have every answer, to solve every conflict—to be a prize-worthy role model for those who could only dream of being as successful as she is. Aglaea was pushed into perfection before she even knew who she wanted to be. As a ballerina, she was expected to hide every cramp with a smile—to twirl as if it were the last move she’d ever make. As an athlete, she was expected to make it to every practice regardless of the obstacle. Sickness was an indicator of weakness, an excuse to retreat into the shadows of her bedroom—an escape her parents loathed deeply.
As an actress, she was expected to carry the weight of perfection on her bare shoulders—bruised and broken. A fractured bone, one she was meant to hold with pride.
“Don’t you ever get tired?” you questioned one morning, catching her completely off-guard. If someone were to compare you to her, you were the soil and she the gardener who raised the watering can—showering you in divine springs to help raise you. To guide the sunlight to your roots, expanding your potential to become something even greater.
You disagreed, heavily. You were never soil—never something waiting to be shaped. You had your own roots. You were tired of being someone else’s bloom.
“Tired? Of what?” she asked quietly. The drop in her gaze told you your question had struck something real.
“Perfection.” That was all you said—yet the word itself was Aglaea’s entire world, summarized in a single line. She felt a piece of it crumble beneath her feet.
“Perfection, you say? What gave you the impression that I’m tired of such a thing?” she inquired, the lift of her eyebrows betraying the humanity others believed she never possessed. If anything, she was more machine than human. More doll than girl—something crafted, not grown. Something beautiful, but empty of permission to feel.
“Your eyes.” you muttered, scoffing before turning your head in the other direction. Blue-green eyes that held such guilt, so much uncertainty swirling in their depths—it had been so long since anyone had really looked. “I expect you to act like a regular teenager, not a statue for everyone to polish and praise.”
“So that’s your impression of me.” she placed a hand under her chin, her lips twitching into a small smile. What was it that had changed? Her expression was unlike one you’ve ever seen before. Was it the taste of respite from the world she’d been suffocated in? Was it relief?
“It could’ve been worse, Miss Golden Girl.”
She hummed, arms crossing as she shifted her posture—less perfect now, more casual.
A dramatic gasp escaped your lips. “So you do know how to relax.”
“You’re quite the character, aren’t you?” she sighed, shaking her head with a trace of amusement.
“Enlighten me then. What is it you want from me?”
“For you to relax a little.”
“And what does that mean?”
You let out a mischievous giggle before pulling out a pen and a notepad from your bag, she tilted her head slightly out of curiosity for what you were doing. When you finished scribbling, you tore out the page you had written in and handed it to her. “It means I want to take you somewhere. And by you, I mean the Aglaea this school doesn’t know about. Sound fair?”
She froze. Fingers twitching—almost yearning. As if some hidden part of her ached to reach out.
You were offering freedom. Just like that.
When she’d been taught it had to be earned—through sacrifice, perfection, pain.
(Is it really this easy? No, it shouldn’t be.)
“What’s the catch?”
Her fist clenched tight against the black fabric of her skirt, hiding how cold her hands had become—how they trembled under pressure. Her palms were damp.
“There isn’t one. Go out with me, it’ll be fun.” You gently took her hand, unfurling her fingers and slipping the note into her palm. “Don’t look at me like that, I didn’t mean it that way.”
She pressed her lips together, eyes lingering on the folded paper. Then she looked up—just in time to catch you walking away with a grin that was far too proud to be casual.
She lifted the paper you had given her, finding a string of numbers that resembled a phone number.
“How troublesome..”

You never told them you were watching. That those stolen glances from the bleachers weren’t just passing observations—they were habits. You weren’t sure how it started. Maybe it was the way his shadow stretched longer than it should in the golden hour, or the way he never looked back. But Mydei had rooted himself into your daily routine like something quiet and inevitable.
The bleachers had become your favorite study place. As for how, you couldn’t quite say—constantly looking down at your notebook full of algebraic equations couldn’t possibly be good for your back. You made peace with that fact, somehow. And the view wasn’t half-bad either.
The sky, you mean.
Right?
It definitely didn’t have to do with the track star who entered the school building with sweat dripping down his face. The thought seemed almost offensive.
He ran not to win, but to forget—each footfall an echo of something he could never name, something that felt older than him, older than time. You didn’t understand how he did it, all of that running seemed pointless in your eyes. But you found yourself thinking about it more often. Thinking about him more often. You preferred fresh air and the scent of wet grass to the overly floral perfume sprayed by preppy girls who lived lives that never touched your own.
The only person you ever saw Mydei linger around was Phainon. And while Phainon wasn’t on the track team, the two of them were in more competitions with each other than Olympic champions. Their banter became your source of noise and entertainment, background music to long equations and longer glances.
“Mydei, ready for our next race?” Phainon asked, theatrical as always. You found it quite endearing though, comparing him to Mydei would end in a cycle of differences with minimal similarities—at least at first glance.
Mydei crossed his arms and furrowed his brows, staring right into Phainon’s fiery gaze. “Are you prepared to lose once again?”
“Lose? I won that last one, actually.” Phainon huffed, rolling his eyes like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Only you knew the truth. Because your eyes followed Mydei wherever he went—with intrigue that softened your gaze whenever he was near. Mydei had won that race. Barely. And if you ever brought it up, you weren’t sure either of them would ever agree on a conclusion that would satisfy them both. You giggled at the thought.
Then one afternoon, he stopped. Right there on the track.
“Mydei!” Phainon tossed him a water bottle. “What would you do without me?”
“Hydrate less,” Mydei muttered—but he wasn’t looking at Phainon.
He was looking at you.
Just for a moment. Just long enough.
“Bleachers today,” he said. His voice was low—quiet like something meant for only you. “What’s the occasion?”
You blinked, heart thudding once, sharply. “Sky’s nice.”
He tilted his head. “It usually is.”
Then he was gone, jogged back to the starting line like nothing happened. You let out a breath you weren’t aware you were holding in.
(How embarrassing.)
You sighed before grabbing your pen once again.
But your pen didn’t touch paper again for the rest of the hour. Not once.
Something ancient stirred beneath your skin—familiar, electric, inexplicable. And you weren’t sure if it came from the stars above you . . . or the boy running circles just below.
-
The boys developed a habit of coming to you after every early morning race, ignoring your yawns and instead choosing to argue about who won. It ended in ties, or both of them barely outrunning each other on the field.
“Mydei won this time,” you spoke mid-yawn, placing your hand on your chin. “And no, I’m not picking favorites—Phainon.”
“There’s no way he won, my dear friend . . . won’t you speak the truth you hold so close to your chest?” Phainon pleaded, tossing his hands in dramatic despair. “You wound me. Deeply.”
“I call it how I see it,” you replied, eyeing his exaggerated performance with amusement.
Mydei stood off to the side, towel around his neck, chest rising and falling with the ease of someone used to the weight of the world on his lungs. He said nothing, but the barest smile tugged at the edge of his lips.
“Oh, he’s smirking. Great. The silent victory,” Phainon muttered, shooting his friend a glare before nudging you with his elbow. “Next time you’re the judge, try blinking. I think you missed when I passed him at the turn.”
“I didn’t blink,” you said. “But you definitely did. Right when he crossed the line.”
Phainon gasped.
“You’re both hopeless,” you sighed, flipping a page in your notebook you hadn’t written anything on. “If I had a coin, I’d start flipping it just to settle your arguments.”
“That would be fate,” Mydei said, voice low, like he rarely used it.
“Exactly. It’d be out of your hands.” You raised a brow at them both. “Which, frankly, sounds like the only way either of you will ever take a loss.”
Phainon groaned.
Mydei just looked at you. Eyes steady, unreadable. As if you’d said something more profound than you realized.
It lingered—the silence between the three of you, golden and stretched. The sky was just beginning to shift from pale dawn to warm amber, and the field smelled of dew and late spring.
You glanced at him again. Mydei. You wondered what else he’d let the world decide for him, and what he still tried to outrun.
-
The next morning, Mydei came to the field alone—but he didn’t charge straight toward the track as he usually did. Instead, he came to you—leaning a bit too close for comfort.
“You dropped this yesterday,” he said, holding out a worn purple notebook. His fingers brushed yours as you took it.
You blinked, surprised. “Oh, really? So that’s where I left it. Thank you.”
“No problem.”
You glanced toward the track. “Not gonna run today?”
He sat beside you instead, one leg crossed over the other, elbows resting on his knees. “No . . . not today.”
Silence settled between you like morning fog, heavy but not unwelcome.
You tried not to stare, but he wasn’t looking at you—he was watching the sky, as if the clouds might spell something out for him.
“No Phainon today either?” you asked, flipping through your notebook absentmindedly, even though you weren’t reading the pages.
(You weren’t sure why you were worried, Mydei usually had everything under control—didn’t he?)
“No,” he said. “He talks too much in the morning.”
You laughed under your breath. “He talks too much in the afternoon too.”
That earned you a rare smile, small and fleeting.
You hesitated before asking, “Are you okay?”
He didn’t answer right away. Just sat with it. Mydei never rushed his words.
Eventually, he opened his mouth to speak. “Why do you come to the bleachers anyway?”
Whether the question was out of curiosity or concern, you answered with a small grin. “It gets too overwhelming inside of the school building, do you know how many people roam those halls in the morning?”
“Too many?”
“Too many.”
“I don’t understand how seeing me run across the field before classes start is any better, though.” he mumbled quietly, causing your smile to widen just a little more.
“You’re not overwhelming to be around.”
“I’m not?”
“No, you’re not.” you reassured him, rummaging through your bag for a handkerchief before gently dabbing the fabric onto his forehead. “You sweat a lot, by the way.”
He scoffed, “Do I now?”
“You do, but that’s okay too. Just sit still for a second.”
“Sure thing.”

Cipher always made it seem like fun. Like skipping class was the beginning of some great adventure, and not a panic attack waiting to happen. “No one’s gonna notice,” she’d whisper as you tiptoed down the hall behind her, heart pounding like a drum. “They’re all too busy pretending to care.”
And you’d want to believe her—because she said it like a promise, not a lie.
You didn’t realize you were holding your breath until Cipher glanced back, her eyes softer than they ever looked in the daylight. “You okay?”
“I—yeah. I just…”
“Too much?”
“A little.”
She hummed thoughtfully, chewing her bottom lip before taking your hand. Her fingers were warm. Steady. “Then we’ll just go somewhere quiet. I know a place.”
You blinked. “You do?”
“Mhm. Been hiding there since I was, like, twelve. It has snacks.” She said it like that was the main draw—but the way she adjusted her pace for you, let your hand go when she felt it tremble, glanced your way every few steps just to make sure you were still breathing right . . . it was more than snacks.
Cipher was sneaky, sure. But never with you. With you, she was honest in the ways that mattered most.
A smooth-talker, she was. The one with every solution in the book hidden inside of her mind, the one who chooses to carry the responsibility of your fragility on her shoulders—it didn’t make it any better that you reminded her of her old self. The stray cat who would hide in corners, scavenging for a speckle of glimmer within the pile of dull. “Stay calm, won’t you? You’ll be fine as long as you’re with me, remember? Plus, you’re more anxious in the classroom than out of it.”
You couldn’t disagree there, the stress that came with the environment was something you never got used to. You weren’t sure if you ever would. That weight of expectations casted upon you like a pile of dumbbells on your back—you felt sick just imagining it.
Cipher was your complete opposite, that you were certain of. She faced the world with a mischievous smirk and a scheme in the midst. She never faltered either, and she was the kind of person most feared due to her seemingly lax personality.
You’d once asked her if she was ever scared. It slipped out one afternoon, hidden between breaths as you ducked beneath the stairwell she called “home base.” Cipher just laughed, that low, amused kind of sound that felt like it echoed in your bones.
(You loved the sound of her laughter, it reminded you that regardless of what happened—that she would never allow you to collapse into the hole of fear and dread.)
“Scared?” she repeated, like the word was foreign. Then she leaned in, eyes sharp and unreadable. “I don’t have time to be scared. Someone’s gotta steer the ship when everyone else is frozen at the wheel.”
She made survival sound effortless. But even then, you caught it—the way her fingers twitched when she thought you weren’t looking. The way she always kept the exit in sight. She was fully prepared to leave like an alert cat readying its paws to charge out of the scene.
Cipher didn’t flinch when trouble came. She smiled at it, twirled it around her finger, and dared it to try her. And maybe that’s what made her so easy to follow—because with Cipher, you weren’t running away. You were running with her. Side by side, hand in hand—with a pounding heart and quickened breath—you followed her wherever she went and tried not to regret it.
-
“You remind me of how I used to be,” she said one day, flicking a pebble into a puddle with the grace of someone pretending not to care. “Scared. Small. Always asking for permission.”
You opened your mouth to apologize—though you weren’t sure for what.
“But look at you now.” She tilted her head, and for once, her smirk gave way to something gentler. “Still scared. But you’re out here anyway. That’s brave as hell.”
“I like you, you’re pretty cool~!”
You felt your heart skip a beat at the sound of her alluring tone, the way she sung your praises even if just barely—it made your chest ache a little.
“I don’t think so, doing this is still terrifying to me. I’m still really anxious about it all.”
“Then why are you here?”
(Why were you here? Did the sound of her voice lure you in too deep? Were you blindly putting your faith in a known troublemaker? A girl hiding behind several masks, known to lie, known to be deceitful?)
(Were you simply aching for a bit of solace in a place where you knew nothing about? A gamble that you took knowing the possible consequences?)
“I don’t . . . want to be like this forever. I want to be more like you, Cifera!”
That detail surprised her a bit. Why would you ever want to turn into someone like her? A topic of gossip for the teenagers roaming the halls to spread word about? At first glance, perhaps she would’ve thought of you as foolish and naive. But she knew the aching need to escape, to throw all responsibilities out of the window—to take a risk in exchange for your head to be out of water.
“Like me, huh? If that’s what you want . . . you’re gonna have to try harder than that.”
“Huh?” you blinked, noticing your phone had suddenly disappeared into thin air. Your lips formed a pout before you reached out towards her. “Give it back, Cifera!”
“Nuh uh, catch me if you can—dear student~!”

Can you trust them with your drink? (Amphoreus edition)

Small hcs! featuring Phainon, Cipher, Mydei, Castorice, Anaxa, & Aglaea
cw: short, probably ooc, mentions of being drunk, anaxa’s gun, mentions of spiking drinks/drugging (none actually happens though,) gn reader, not proofread, platonic

Phainon
- Yesn’t
- Phainon won’t let ANYONE touch your drink besides you and himself, but depending on how drunk he is he might mistake your drink for his.
- He’s done this with multiple times “accidentally.” It’s probably the third time tonight that he’s downed someone else’s drink.
- And if you catch him drinking your drink he’ll awkwardly laugh and scratch his neck, then apologize. Hell he even offer to get you another drink- on his tab this time.

Castorice
- assuming that you won’t die from being so close to her
- Yes!! You can trust her, and she takes this job very seriously.
- While people already normally stay out of her way; the dark looks she gives people if they even glance at your drink scares anyone away.
- Unlike Phainon she wouldn’t dare take a sip from your drink, not even accidentally ♡

Cipher
- no. lol
- The moment you leave Cipher is putting that drink on some random table and going back to pick pocketing random people.
- If you try to find her for your drink good luck, she’s too fast for you. She’ll doge you and your questions at the speed of light.
- Oh- and don’t bother with buying another drink, when you check your pockets/wallet/purse you’ll notice she stole every last coin.

Mydei
- Kinda? It’s safe to leave your drink with him but it might not be there when you come back.
- Mydei would never tamper with almost anyone’s drinks including yours,
- But he tends to move around a lot in these places so he might spill some here and there. It’s not like it’s on purpose but just be aware quite an amount of that drink may end up on the floor.

Anaxagoras
- Are you two close? If you are? Yes! If not? Hell nah
- Given you two are close he’ll give point stares to anyone who walks nears that drink. If someone asks for your drink or tries to tamper with it, he will insult that person and their entire bloodline so badly that the perpetrator will actively avoid both of you for years to come. Or just take his gun out as a scare tactic.
- And if you’re not close, or if you’re Aglaea he might just pour out your drink entirely. Don’t ask for a replacement drink from him either, he’ll just stare at you like you’re the dumbest person alive.

Aglaea
- She won’t even let you hand her your drink, if you even ask her to hold it just act like she didn’t hear you and walk away.
- But let’s pretend she likes you enough to hold it-
- She’ll cover the top of your cup with a napkin and put her hand over top of the napkin just to be extra careful.
- Most people won’t bother her nor your drink when she’s has it. If some idiot tries to mess with the drink, thinking she won’t notice they’re sadly mistaken. She won’t let a grave act like this go unpunished, but that can wait for later.
- When you come back Aglaea will let you know if someone was acting suspiciously and tell you to be careful. Though if you forget her threads can keep watch for you.

being loved by cipher!
-cipher messes with you as an excuse to interact with you. something of yours goes missing, and in its place is a note inviting you to play a game with her to get it back. she doesn't really mean any harm--she just isn't used to being genuine with people.
-if you eagerly play along with her, all the better! she'll be thrilled if you try to trick her back or outsmart her in some way. of course, playing games with the demigod of trickery is no easy task, but it's the thought that counts.
-she's fond of casual physical affection, draping herself over you all cat-like and demanding your attention for a while. spoil her with your time!
-however, she'll get pretty nervous if she realizes that things are getting serious between you. she's a petty thief and a liar, not someone's lover; she ends up avoiding you for some time because she's certain that she'll only let you down. you'll surely get tired of her mind games, or she'll overstep her bounds, so she thinks.
-she'll come slinking back when she realizes that being away from you sucks, and all the treasure in the world couldn't buy the sight of you smiling at her or laughing at her antics. it'd be even harder for her to bring up her feelings to you directly, so be patient with her!
-she's fond of bringing you little trinkets that she "finds" while she's away. a pretty necklace you were eyeing, a charm shaped like an animal you like, or a gem whose color and shine compliments your eyes. as long as it makes you happy, she'd steal anything in the world for you.
-if you're not afraid of heights (or if she can coax you into going along with her), she'll zoom you up to her favorite high places in the city where you can see the view together. people-watching is a fun pastime with her, and you speculate about the lives of the people meandering below as you snuggle out of sight of anyone around.

(Aaa you don't have to (well... that's a given) respond to this at all, not expecting it, just wanted to share the same sentiment because your post reminded me of it) (Plus this is vv long it's a rant srry. If you do respond though (only an if) I recommend screenshotting so you can turn it into your own post and crop it so it doesn't take so much space)
Honestly, before 3.3 I was kind of sick of people saying "stop making everything about shipping/sexualities" because I assumed it was mainly just people getting salty that they're dealing with a inevitable fandom thing which was shipping/fandom and not staying in their own lanes (besides the obvious obnoxious exceptions).
And then when 3.3 leaks came out, Aglaea and Cipher turned out to have this really tragic and poignant history together, and me & other ppl were shipping it.... until it turned out Aglaea had know Cipher when the latter was a child & Aglaea was an adult + Aglaea raised her = they were a adopted mother daughter dynamic. I felt kind of embarrassed but after quickly moving on, giggling at myself, and examining it closer, I fell in love with their mother daughter relationship and how it was handled in 3.3. I can't even talk about it because then i'll start rambling lol. But then other ppl who assumed this would finally "be the proof" Hoyo was going back to their "yuri roots" (esp when Cerces and Mnestia are RIGHT THERE if you want that) and that Aglaea would finally be "confirmed lesbian" (not even gonna get into that) got angry and denied it to the point where they were looking at their interactions and lines such as "Your weave shop... I wish..... I could chance upon it again, just once.... Say something... Anything.... please" (Cipher was saying this to Aglaea in her final moments) as proof they were actually lovers and that no child would say that to their parent??? Especially when that's where Cipher AS A VISIBLE CHILD (there was a cutscene) met Aglaea who was A VISIBLE ADULT. And then they tried to excuse it by saying "oh there's a 1000 year time leap so it doesn't matter now" when they kept that dynamic since then and that's why Cipher calls back to that moment in the first place, she wants her mom. This wasn't one instance, the post had thousands of likes and many ppl share this sentiment (thankfully many called them out too).
Like.... have you people EVER had significant feelings for others that extended past romantic? Have you ever considered that to be possible? The concept has always been so foreign to me. Family, romantic, friendship, all have such importance that I could never try to scale them against each other. But these people seem like the first thing they do when they judge a relationship is to fit it into one of these categories depending on the weight.
I also find it so funny (in an ironic sense) that people use romance to simplify characters down to such stereotypical traits when instead it should add depth to them. Figuring out how their qualities work together, how they change as people, what parts of them stay the same, when other parts don't, and how they will stay in a relationship if they can at all. There's so much to uncover about characters if you put them in a situation, any tbh, so how this can turn into complete character flanderization is... kind of startling to me? (Speaking as a diehard ratiorine fan.... dude it's so bad)
And now that i've been looking, there are so many cases of shippers (wlm, wlw, mlm, doesn't matter, and my goodness all are completely obnoxious in their own circles and to each other) going into comment sections of nonshippers and spamming their own headcanons, or if someone calls them "besties" in their video (if they're unconfirmed) they'll be in the comments like "and they were roommates" and "history said they were best friends".
I was going to put a whole nother thing in about interpretation but this is already really long sooo. Yea. I just wanted to quickly share my thoughts because wow fandom can suck but i'm glad there's people like you who can call it out when it does
Oh, don't worry about the long rant, Anon, I don't mind reading it all.
Anywayss, to start, yes, I am aware of the annoyance I was causing to some people in this fandom, and for a while, even I doubted whether or not I wanted to be so "bothersome" instead of "staying in my own lane" as you said, which for me, is continue writing poems and musings. But after being bombarded with so many posts about Aventurine and Veritas being gae gae, and so many pornographic fan arts being labeled as masterpieces by the fandom, I decided to break my silence and thought "If these people can be so loud and proud promoting something so disgusting and wrong, then why can't I be just as loud and proud but promoting the truth instead?" — this was the only thing keeping me going, really. This, and the many people I've encountered agreeing with my posts and saying that I've expressed the very feelings they've wanted to express, but don't know how. And that makes me very happy. I may not be able to appeal to most, but I am content with whatever I can achieve.
For Cipher and Aglaea, I can't comment much since I have yet to go through 3.3, but I will say that, based on what you've given me, I'm not surprised. Shippers will say and do anything to everything just to "prove" their ship when there really isn't much proof at all. And while I understand the appeal of shipping (truly, I do, I've spent the majority of my childhood shipping Elsa and Jack Frost, Skye and Chase, and Sonic and Amy), sometimes all shippers do instead of just enjoying and having fun with the ship, as they claim to do, they instead shove their headcannons into everyone's throats and drag people into ship wars and make them choose, and proceed to attack them once that said person they've dragged into this mess disagree with what they want.
And also, that is the thing with some of these shippers, where they claim that Character A can't say this to Character B in a platonic manner when it obviously can? Cipher can say all those things to Aglaea as a child would say all those things to her mother, just as much as Phainon would say "It's a date, Mydeimos" to Mydei as an army veteran would say to his brother in arms after promising to meet each other again, alive, after the war. That is the beauty of HSR's writing; it's full of nuance and depth that a writer could only dream of making!
Character A can have significant feelings for Character B that aren't romantic. Character A can have significant feelings for Character B without necessarily wanting to marry and bed them. It's possible, all of it is possible because having these significant feelings for another person is natural and human! That's why we can have friends and lovers, and families at the same time! And they're all important. Very important.
For Cerces and Mnestia, I wouldn't necessarily call them "confirmed lesbians" or as Hoyo going back to their "yuri roots" mainly because I believe that Titans, much like Aeons, are not confined to the concrete or physical, but rather, they represent divine and abstract concepts, and the people following those concepts. And also because of the fact that, in Chinese culture, according to what I've read, they have a specialized term to refer to the divine beings they worship.
And well, I don't believe anyone in HSR is gay, nor should they only be known for their sexuality, and the reason why I think "queerness" apparently happens within stories is a mix of fan-service and self-projection. It's no secret that Hoyo knows their audience well and does things that satisfy their pre-existing fandom and appeal to potential customers simultaneously, and with the growing popularity of that community, I'm not surprised that Hoyo would join in and drop "hints" and "teases" in their own game as well. Personally, it really is just a marketing strategy to keep as many people as satisfied and attracted to their game as possible without triggering the censorship. And to be quite honest? I don't necessarily blame them for wanting to appeal to a bigger audience; the character trailers alone must've cost them a fortune to make, so of course they're going to find ways to earn back the money that they've spent.
I understand that my stance might be controversial and wouldn't be accepted well by many people, so I will leave it at that. However, if there are some of you who are interested in discussing more of this with me, please go to either my Inbox or message me personally and let us engage in a healthy debate — we are talking about differences in opinions, not personally attacking each other and I would like to keep it at that.
But anywayss, if you truly want to talk about interpretation, then don't hesitate to send me another ask in my inbox. This was a fun read, and I would love to hear more from you, all of you, actually.
I find enjoyment in hearing other people's thoughts and opinions and engaging in a healthy debate with them. But what truly makes me happy is, as I've said above is when I, apparently, express other people's thoughts in ways that they can't. An example would be what you said about me being able to call a fandom out when needed, Anon, and that is an honour for me, and I hope to create more of these analyses that will hopefully resonate and bring light to the unspoken thoughts of the people within my circle, in real life or online.

hello ! i really love your way of writing 🥹 i was wondering if you'd be willing to write Cipher with a GN!Reader who struggles with eating enough because they are deeply insecure, it is completely fine if not ! thank you so much for reading ! 🩷
WORTH MORE THAN SCRAPS | cipher
synopsis: IN WHICH you're afraid to eat more than what you truly desire in fear of it changing your appearance, cipher is aware of it. luckily, she's here to encourage you to consume to your heart's desire.
contains: insecurity about one's appearance, tinge of angst (that's barely noticeable but yk it's still there), fluff
pairing: cipher x gender neutral reader
author's note: hello, thank u for the request !! i appreciate that you love my writing style so i hope that you like this little one shot! hope you have a good day or night ^^
It's not everyday that the fleet-footed traveler would seek your company for a leisure walk in the Holy City of Okhema. You assumed that her message was an invitation to another one of her treasure hunts in an abandoned place of Amphoreus. So imagine your surprise when Cipher grabs a hold of your arm and leads you to a stall that offers a variety of pastries.
"Ah, nothing but the sweet aroma of fresh deserts! Not that these have any more value than gold," The next time you blink, the sweet delicacies had disappeared from their small stand. "But I don't plan on paying for them either." Cipher wraps an arm around your shoulder and quickly walk away before the stall owner could notice what she pulled off.
The two of you find yourselves in a secluded corner of the city and sat down beside one another on a nearby bench. She brings out the stolen pastries and places them in between you two. You're a little taken aback by the amount that she took and couldn't help but notice some of the large portions. You started to feel a little uneasy but didn't let it show on your face.
Cipher took one of the desserts that resembled a cream puff and ate it in one bite. She hummed in delight at the burst of flavor, quickly swallowing before taking another one. When you haven't made a move to grab a pastry for yourself, she's eyeing you mid-bite.
You stare off into the empty space when you began to contemplate the next course of action, fingers mindlessly fidgeting with themselves and your mind not keeping up with reality.
"Still with me?" Your train of thought was cut off when you noticed something in front of you. A familiar gloved hand that held one of the desserts was outstretched towards you. You're hesitant to take it but your body moves on its own anyway.
Once you took the pastry, you looked over to the woman that sat on the same bench. She wore her signature grin that was noticeably softer whenever she's with you. Cipher didn't force you to do anything, this was her silent way of encouraging you to at least try.
With a little nod from her, you bring the little pastry to your mouth and took a small bite. You let the piece of food sit on your tongue and your eyes light up at the sweetness of it. The feeling of uneasiness still lingered yet your heart desired for more of that flavor.
As time passed, the two of you slipped into comfortable silence. Most of the desserts were consumed by Cipher but she made sure to leave some of them for you just in case. You noticed that even with the two of you, there were still a lot of pastries left.
"You don't usually take this much food," You turned your head to gaze at the feline thief. "What are you planning to do with all of it if we can't finish it all?"
"I'll just give them to the little kids that are running around the market. If we have some to spare then the ones at the Marmoreal Palace will probably like to have some," Cipher didn't need to think over her answer. "I can probably sneak a few to Prince Sulks-a-lot. A little birdie told me that underneath that fiery exterior is a superb baker."
"He does have the potential to open his own bakery," You chuckled at the thought.
Cipher took a glance at the portions of desserts that stood in the middle of the two of you and smiled when she realized something. Her gaze looked up towards you, bright cyan optics peered into your own.
"There you go, you managed to eat a little more than usual. How do you feel?" Cipher inquired.
You looked to the side for a brief moment before looking back to face her with a small smile. "I feel.. somewhat satisfied. I'm still a little afraid but.." With an arm draped on the backrest of the bench, Cipher patiently awaited your response.
"I think I'm starting to accept this desire of mine." Your little grin grew. You could tell Cipher was pleased with your response with the way her tail stood up.
"Glad to hear it. Now, I would usually ask for your mode of payment.." Your smile suddenly dropped upon hearing the word 'payment'. She chuckled at how fast your expression changed. "Relax! I'm just messing with you. This one's on me." You breathed out in relief when she was merely jesting, another small laughter was elicited from the thief.
Cipher gazed at you with a warmth that you thought had long been frozen from her long journey as a demi-god. She leaned back against the bench as she took in the sight before her, you.
"After all, it doesn't matter to me on how much you want to eat but I just wanted you to know that it's okay to indulge in your own desires every once in a while." She smirked when your eyebrows rose.
"You know I'll still treasure you no matter what."

heyy it's me again 🥰 since I am an absolute whore for lesso and cipher I was wondering if a threesome fic w them and prompts 16 + 27 would be on the table cos no one cares about logistics when it's smut lmao and it's the absolute dream 🫠
No One Cares About Logistics ~Dom!Cipher xSwitch!Lady Lesso xFem Sub!Reader
Summary— (Read Request) Cipher convinces Reader and Lesso to try an aphrodisiac. A fun night of smutty shenanigans ensue… Anon Response— Hello @ciphersonlywife !! Thank you for the request! This was the first time I’ve written Cipher and Lesso together, and it was a blast. Here’s a smutty fic for you. Enjoy! ♥️
Mommy… Master List
Requests & Prompt-List
#16. Sex Pollen Troupe
#27. “Darling… you sound sinfully delicious…”
Warnings: NSFW, 18+!!!, smut, sex pollen, drugs, snorting of drugs, peer pressure, eating out (ass and pussy), oral sex, fingering, fisting, praise kink, pet kink, ma’am kink, light dom/sub relations, implied future smut, etc.
Enjoy (;
A rush of intensity and uncomfortable pleasure shot through you as you snorted the substance from Cipher’s finger. She angled her digit for you to ingest the entire substance, before you leaned your head back and sniffed violently. The back of your hand came up to your nose and rubbed it accordingly, trying to adjust to the dizzying affect of snorting something for the first time. The blonde then turned to Lady Lesso.
“Come on Lesso, don’t be a pussy…” Cipher taunted, offering her now refilled finger to the redhead.
The dean rolled her eyes and came forward, placing her nose perched on the other woman’s finger. Cipher looked at her suggestively, cocking her brow expectantly. Lesso groaned before properly snorting the powdery substance. She also had to take a step back and tilt her head, adjusting to the burn running from her nose down to her throat.
Cipher chuckled in content. She had already taken her portion, throwing the substance back like it was nothing. She had brought you both the newest drug on the market ‘X’. She hadn’t told either of you much about it, expect for reassuring both you and Lesso that while it could kill, that she wouldn’t let it get that far.
You could feel yourself aware starting to drift away mentally. You shook your head and tried to get a hold of yourself. But instead, it made you feel only more disconnected with your body. Your body started to feel dull and numb, and it slowly began to ache. You bit your lip and looked toward Cipher expectantly, who was leaning against the wall in amusement, arms crossed and gaze gleaming.
“So what is it…??” Lesso snapped, pinching the bridge of the nose and, beating you to it and asking the blonde impatiently what you both wanted to know.
Cipher shifted her weight from one foot to the other and tilted her head, her eyes sparkling with wicked intention.
“New class of aphrodisiac…” she purred.
Her words made your stomache drop. You were suddenly feeling very cold, and you wrapped your arms around each other. Lesso seemed to be feeling the same, as she wrapped her own coat around her tightly. Your lips parted to speak but you found that your mouth was dry and your throat hoarse.
“It starts by shutting down your system, restarting them only to send your body into a hyperdrive…” she cooed darkly, “left unattended your body will work itself to death…”
“Jesus Ci…” Lesso breathed out, an apparent shift in her tone.
You suddenly had a surge of warmth shook you, followed swiftly by your heart starting to race. You felt a lump in your throat as your core began to pour in unison with your heart. You looked over to the redhead and she no longer looked numb and cold either, no her pupils were blown wide, her hair a new level of frizzy and attentive.
“How… do we not die…?” You whimpered, finally pushing a couple words out of your mouth.
You wanted to collapse against the wall and wail. Hell, the two women would most likely encourage you to do so… they both enjoyed pain far too much… but you couldn’t get enough of them.
Cipher looked over to you for the first time, a predatory look in her eyes. Even though she looked more put together than the two of you, you could see that the drug was affecting her too. Her blown out eyes, her sheening skin…
“You need to cum.”
You breath hitched and your legs began to tremble. You couldn’t help it, your body collapsing on the floor as you let out a desperate mewl. You heard the sound of Cipher’s shoes coming towards you and suddenly your head was being jerked up by the woman’s hand, your gaze for ed to meet hers.
Oh her hand… the second you got just the tiniest taste of skin on skin contact, your mind went into a frenzy. Your thoughts were racing so fast, you couldn’t even keep up with them. But they all screamed for the same thing… more. Need. More.
“You wanna be fucked, baby…?” She cooed tauntingly.
You pouted your bottom lip and nodded, giving her your best begging eyes. Her hand swiftly moved to grab your neck and pick you up, pinning you against the wall. She then promptly let you go, and it was like your life was being ripped from you.
“No…!!!” You exclaimed, trying to reach for more in desperation, the woman expertly evading your grasp.
“Strip. Both of you.” Cipher ordered.
You both did as you were told, stripping until you were both in nothing. Cipher followed along, and once you were all rid of your clothing, her manicured hand found your throat once more. You let out a needy whimper and bucked your hips eagerly as she pressed you against the wall once more.
“Leonora, come over here and eat my ass out while I fuck our pretty baby…” Cipher commanded lustfully.
Lesso scurried to the ground, kneeling in between Cipher’s perched legs. Meanwhile, the blonde smashed her lips into yours. You moaned into the kiss, eagerly letting her tongue worm its way into your mouth and dominate you. You could barely see the redhead get to work, you assumed she began kicking the blonde’s sensitive hole by the way Cipher groaned in your mouth.
The blonde’s one hand remained around your neck, squeezing your airway tighter and tighter, slowly making your eyes bulge. Her other hand then began to wander down your frame, not wasting any time in dipping into your drenched cunt and skillfully beginning to finger you. Your eyes rolled back and your legs start to tremble.
“Leonora stop teasing!!” Cipher growls, before moments later letting out a guttural moan as the redhead finally slips her tongue into the other woman’s ass.
Cipher’s eyes are rolled back and her mouth is open wide as she continues to moan right in your face and her fingers continue to ruthlessly fuck you. Soon, she has three digits inside you, and it doesn’t take long for you to start begging to cum.
“Precious baby wants to cum…? Why don’t you cum with me, yeah? I’ll count you down and we’ll cum together…” Cipher pants.
You nod desperately, bucking your hips and squirming against her hold. Sure enough, the blonde counts you both down, and you cum together, letting out wails of intense pleasure that reverberate across the room. By the time you both come down from your highs, you can hear Lesso whimpering in desperate need from the floor.
Cipher lets go of her hold on you and you collapse against the wall, slowly falling down as you try to catch your breath. The blonde turns around with a chuckle and faces the redhead, grabbing her chin and tilting it up to meet her gaze.
“Desperate girl needs some, don’t you…?” She cooes, also still breathless and panting.
Lesso nods eagerly, licking her lips from her prior activity. Cipher then steps aside and guides Lesso towards you by her chin. She places the redhead in your collapsed lap, before proceeding to sit back in a chair and start to languidly fuck her own pussy.
“Pretty girl, make Leonora feel good.” Cipher purrs in a command.
You look over at the blonde and nodded in obedience, quickly placing your hands all over the desperate redhead. Leonora bucked her hips into your lap as you explored her exposed skin.
“P-please…” she begged under her breath.
You bit your lip and nodded swiftly, placing one hand on her hip for support while snaking your other hand in between her legs. Your palm found the woman’s clit, and her reaction was mere immediate, grinding against the ghost of your palm in needy anticipation. Lesso’s hands shot to your shoulders as she let out a groan, as you swiveled your palm and pressed it against her clit.
“More more Christ more—!!” She swore.
You looked over to Cipher, whose eyes were dark with predatory and lustful intent, as she continued to finger herself. She gave you the go ahead, and so you slipped two fingers into the redhead’s soaked pussy. Lesso eagerly bounced in your lap, grinding against your entire hand as you fucked her to her climax. You licked your lips and leaned forward, latching onto one of her breasts as you continued to fuck her.
Leonora let out a howl in response to all the stimulation. Her whole body was on fire, her hair was free and wild, her body was sheening with sweat, as she bobbed up and down on your fingers at record speed. Her grip on your shoulders tightened, as you felt her walls around your fingers clench more and more.
“Ci Ci CI OH GOD CI—!!!” Leonora pleaded.
“What’s the magic word, Leo…?” Cipher cooed, about to tip over the edge herself.
“PLEASE—!!” She shrieked.
“Good girl… go ahead.”
Lesso’s grinding got sloppier and her hips stuttered as her orgasm crashed over her. A string of high pitched groans left her lips as she rode your fingers and palm through her high. In the background, you could hear Cipher groaning as she came right after the other woman.
Afterwards, Leonora went limp and breathless in your lap. You all sat there trying to catch your breaths. But she was still soaked, still wired. And it didn’t take long for the drug to kick back in for all three of you. Soon, you and Leonora were looking back at Cipher in desperation again. Cipher couldn’t help but chuckle.
“I know I know, never enough…” the blonde purred.
With her hand, she beckoned you both forward. You scrambled towards where the woman was sitting. Cipher leaned back in her chair, spreading her legs wide and giving you the perfect view of her pretty pussy lips.
“Come eat me out, baby…” Cipher cooed lustfully, rolling her head back with a groan with how fast your mouth attached itself to her cunt.
“Good girl…” she hummed, scrunching your hair together with her hand.
Her eyes rolled back as you ate her out.
“Leonora—! Let our baby ride your face.” Cipher groaned, bucking her hips and slowly suffocating you.
Leonora was quick to get on her back and shuffle underneath your upward kneeling stance. She grabbed your thighs and eagerly tried to pull your cunt down to her mouth. You lowered your pussy for the redhead and choked out a moan into Cipher’s cunt as you felt Leonora’s flat tongue movements against your clit.
This only spurred you on, making you even more desperate to please the blonde. Once Leonora slid her tongue into your core, you lost all coherence. Your hips rutted against the woman’s face as you used your every last breath to get the blonde off. Cipher’s one dug into your scalp and forced your head to stay nice and snug in her cunt, while she rode your face to her high. You both came apart at record speed, the drug speeding things along.
Afterwards, you and Leonora were left panting, faces full of cum. Cipher looked down at her two pets and smirked.
“We should do this more often…” she purred.
At that, both of you seemed relieved at the prospect of the night being done. But Cipher had other ideas…
“Leo baby, hold pet back…” Cipher commanded.
At her utterance, Leonora immediately sat up behind you and pulled you into her lap. She held your arms tight behind you and spread your legs with her own. So that you were completely powerless to the other woman, your cunt on full display.
Cipher got down from her chair, stalking her way over to you with a crawl. You shivered and let out a whimper as her digits ghosted across your pussy lips. Her lips twisted into a sadistic grin as she began to push her entire fist into your core. Your toes curled and your body spasmed as you slowly took her entire hand.
“Oh God FUCK CI ma’am God—!!” You cried out.
“Darling… you sound sinfully delicious…”
You wanted to pass out her hand felt so good sheethed inside you.
“What…? Did you think we were done…?” She wickedly cooed, sending a fresh wave arousal to both of your cores and making your pussy walls clench around her fist.

Cipher Drabble 3.3 Quest Spoilers
Cipher overestimated her own abilities. She put up a good fight, but it wasn't enough. In her last moments, all she could think of was how she couldn't say goodbye to you one last time. She couldn't see you as she died.
Maybe she succeeded in her original mission, protecting Kephale's coreflame, but she'll never be able to see you again, or feel you. Even a goodbye would be nice, but she can't give that to you either.
Goodbye, trailblazer. Maybe in our next lives we can be together again.
